Meet Ricky (also responds to Frumpkin, Adem, and the Goodest Boy in the World):
If you are a cat owner, live in/near North Carolina, and are willing to make a drive, this sweet boy wants to be your new best friend! He's very affectionate, takes a pet no problem:
He is fixed, around 5 years old (best guess), and extremely friendly towards people and other cats. Our cats love him but we are tragically at cat-pacity for our lease. Definitely a former inside kitty who would be very happy in a home with another cat. I cannot vouch for his behavior around dogs but I think he would be alright with older kids who are familiar with cats. Tolerates being picked up, good "soft paw" play etiquette, and is coming around to being a lap cat.
Interested? PLEASE message/shoot me an ask for more information! I really want to give this little guy the home he deserves and get another kitty off the streets. Non-NC residents PLEASE signal boost and let your friends know! Let's get this guy adopted!
2/14/2024 UPDATE: Ricky is AVAILABLE to a loving home!!! He's almost certainly not a hapless old man polymorphed into a cat!! We're almost at a thousand notes! My heartfelt thanks to all of you who have boosted this; there is so much happening on this bitch of an earth (mostly affectionate) and it's important to me to help how I can. I've been telling Ricky how many people online are pulling for him and getting the word out locally. There are a few leads, many thanks to those who've reached out, but no official takers yet. Keep this post circulating, my asks and DMs are open to questions 馃挏馃惐
For reasons out of her control my sister can't keep her cat, so my partner and I are taking her in. Works for us since we were already planning on getting a second cat anyways.
Pet store near me has this beautiful, sweet boy up for adoption. He let me pet him and really enjoyed some chin scritches
I'm already expecting to adopt a kitten shortly, so I can't take this fellow home, but if anyone out there can get to the east end of the Greater Toronto Area and wants to take this beautiful boy home, drop an ask my way and I'll hook you up with the info
Two weeks ago, I adopted 7 month old kittens. Meet Moxie and Gizmo! They were found in a warehouse in Queens and had a bit of a rough start but I'm going to spoil them and love them and adore them forever.
Pet Rescue of Md is desperately seeking homes for these wonderful kitties!
Please click through the photo album to see each photograph and description of each available kitty. All are spayed, neutered and up to date on shots! Please consider adding a family member if you have room in your home and heart!
If you can help any of these babies, please email [email protected] ASAP!! If not, please share with any of your friends, relatives or neighbors that may be able to. Thank you so much!!

These cute cats are in need of a new home in Portland, Oregon.
Buffy a Jack were abandoned with us and we aren't ready for a cat again with a right syndactyl front foot) is very sweet, super soft, curious and playful. Jack (long hair tux with clipped ear, possibly from a feral colony?) is a big boy who hides in the closet most of the time. He hisses when I get close except for this time when I had snacks. They snuggle together and I've heard them playing together.
It's just really sad that someone would leave their pets.
Adoption paperwork was left with them that shows that they are neutered/spayed, and microchipped. The paper work shows Jack was 4 months old in October of 2018 at time of adoption and this paperwork only shows vaccinations up to 2019. Buffy was 3 months old when adopted in July of 2021 and was vaccinated at that time. I have no further info about them. I would like them to go to a new home together.
We considered 'Jill' because it's another Resident Evil name, like Leon's. And just like Leon's name refers to a holiday as well (Noel, but backwards) RE Jill's last name is Valentine. And new kitten's gotcha day is the weekend after Valentine's Day
Also... kitty seems to have polydactyly. So many beans. So we could call her... Jilly Bean
Hi guys, this is Smokey, since last Friday I have had this little Tom cat call my home his. I found him in the back yard of my apartment eating bread. He was skinny, ears sunburnt, and eyes very goopy. I took him to a vet to check if he had a chip and nothing. The vet looked at his teeth and said that he is around one year old. In a new city and kind of clueless what to do I just tried to feed him and give him a place to stay, hoping this would let him heal somewhat. However one of his eyes has gotten worse, and I am not in a good financial situation to get all of his vet needs knocked out all at once. I am hoping that by taking him to a humane society, they will be able to help him and once he is ready I can adopt him fully if no one claims him. I have felt very lonely in my new college life and he was a wonderful surprise that made me feel at home.
He is such a good boy, he lets me clip his nails without complaint and even sat mostly still when I gave him a bath to get rid of the dirt on his pretty fur. He is such a cuddler and has the squeakiest meow.
I feel nervous asking, but if anyone would like to donate so I can put it towards his expenses I would greatly appreciate it. If it comes down to me not getting him I will refund. Please share if you can, and thank you for reading
If anyone has any advice too I will gladly take it, please don鈥檛 be hesitant to share
