A) sold (or attempted and failed to sell) their preexisting furniture to invest in their awesome new inflatable furniture business

you never thought you would see the day that jj deliberately ignored you. sure, he hated talking about his feelings, and he was too stubborn for his own good, but he had never once gone out of his way to avoid your presence. until now.

“he won’t even look at me,” you hissed at kie, eyes glued to the blond who maneuvered around groups of people, the tray in his hands lacking drinks. he had a smile on his face regardless, making small quips at people as he passed them.

kie huffed, moving her body to block off your view of jj. her lilac dress shimmered in the orange light as she said, “just give him some time. he’ll come around. he always does.”

you chewed on the inside of your cheek, spinning the ring on your index finger as you continued to try and get a clear view of him. “yeah. i guess you’re right.” 

the girl in front of you grinned in a way that seemed to say i always am.

still mildly offset about jj’s attitude toward whatever it is that you had done to upset him, you took a step back from kie, situating yourself so you could comfortably watch him once again. as you did, you noticed his back was now to you, topper, kelce, and rafe appearing to slowly herd him toward the building. the trio of men wore smug smiles, and before you knew it jj had lost his tray and swung open one of the glass doors, sprinting in the direction of the restrooms.

your eyebrows knitted together in sudden urgency, hand already swatting at kiara’s bare shoulder. “kie. kie they’re chasing him-”

“who’s- oh. oh,” kie said aridly.

“we have to go,” you told her, already gathering the skirt of your sage-green dress in a hand.

kie grabbed your arm quickly. “and do what? stab them with the back of our heels?”

“if that’s what it takes,” you told her stubbornly, ripping your bicep from her grip. “stay here if you want, i don’t care, but i’m going to go help the best i can.”

you didn’t wait for her response as you started in the direction of the door, gait switching between an uneven combination of a speedwalk and a run. whether or not jj was mad at you, nothing was going to stop you from assisting him in any way possible, especially if he was severely outnumbered. rafe was practically psychotic, his solution to everything was always violence, and topper and kelce only egged him on.

the cool a/c brought goosebumps to your skin, a chill shivering its way down your spine as you swept past people and furniture. fortunately, you spotted the dark-colored bathroom door, the sound of disgruntled male voices seeping through the wood. when you recognized jj’s, you didn’t hesitate to push past the barrier, deciding the consequences could be left for future you to deal with.

middle-age men immediately protested to your appearance, but you ignored them as you hurried in the direction of the overlapped voices, and, sure enough, you found yourself walking into the midst of the kooks jumping jj.

none of the boys noticed your presence, too wrapped up in whatever they were doing to grow aware of their surroundings. 

your attention zoned in on your beat-up-looking friend, the sight of kelce retaining him in a jarring choke hold resulting in your sudden outburst of, “what the fuck is going on?”

“oh, look who’s decided to join us,” rafe leered, his grin growing twice as big. jj continued to struggle against kelce’s grasp, saying your name dryly as his eyes jumped from you to the oldest cameron sibling.

“the hell is wrong with all of you?” your glare turned to kelce, his eyes narrowed in vain. “let him go or i swear to god…”

rafe’s face only continued to dwell with enlightenment at your interruption. he stood up straight and took a long stride in your direction, forcing you to spin toward him. he put less than a foot between his body and yours. “or you’ll do what-”

the air stilled as you slapped the man across the cheek, your palm stinging from the impact. even though he towered over your smaller person, you still sneered up at him, gaze narrowed as if he were no more than the scum on the bottom of your shoe. “you’re not the only one in this town who has a powerful father, rafe cameron. yours just happens to have the worst reputation.”

rafe’s fingers ghosted the flushed skin where you had struck him, eyebrows beginning to knit together as his familiar rage started to surface. he barely had time to speak, “you fucking bitch-” before someone cut in.

the flickering lights caught everyone’s regard, and you watched stiffly as kelce instantly released jj and spun on his heels. “gentlemen. ma’am,” a security guard addressed, “is there a problem here?”

jj was quick to jump in, rushing to say, “pardon me, officer, i just…” his blue eyes caught yours, but they jumped back the man in the black tux before you could give him a warning glance. “we just- well, actually, yes, there is an issue. we have a criminal trespass in progress here.”

you knew he was just doing the best he could to get you both out of the situation, yet you didn’t mask your rather disgusted expression as he continued.

“beep! call it in, right?” the blond urged. “blatant disrespect for private property.”

the boys around you nodded, avoiding eye contact with the guard. multiple yeahs circled the room.

“we’re in violation of all kinds of shit, sir,” jj said, barely taking the motion to glance at you over his shoulder. he turned to kelce, plastering on a fake smile. he began to straighten the cyan-colored bow tie. “but these young gentlemen…” his hand was quickly swatted away. “...uh, caught us, sir, and they were about to take us away. which is what you should do; escort us out of here.”

you watched as jj offered up his wrists before looking back at you. his brows jumped to his hairline in a silent plea to just go along with the nonsense spewing out of his mouth. still mildly irritated at him and everything about whatever the fuck is going to happen as a repercussion, you exhaled sharply and took a few steps in his direction, sending a glare in rafe’s direction.

your arm brushed against jj’s as you mimicked his actions. “you caught us, officer.”

the man rolled his eyes, but reached behind you, hands roughly grabbing onto yours and jj’s biceps. “come on.”

but jj seemed to feel that he needed to add to the situation, his adhd never failing to shine in moments like these. he turned to kelce again as rafe moved closer, topper behind him. “fix that tie, son. oh, and you’re lookin’ quite spiffy too. you powerpuff girls have fun, alright?”

just as the guard was about to lead you both through the exit, rafe shouted your name. “you know you’re pretty hot for a ‘pogue!’”

jj spun before you could even react, already storming in the direction of the smirking boy. ‘mister security’ left you standing in the doorway as he trudged over to the beginnings of a fight and ripped your friend from the group. “let’s go,” he snuffed, shoving the blond harshly.

you avoided jj’s aggravated gaze as you locked eyes with rafe, still being pushed by the man. raising a hand, you flipped him off. “suck my dick, cameron.”

“knock it off,” the guard said, his fingers squeezing the flesh of your arm. his warning compelled you to turn away, huffing air through your nose in annoyance.

rafe scoffed a laugh from his spot, highly entertained by the sight before him. “hey, safe travels back to the cut, you two!”

“this shit ain’t over!” jj hollered, earning a harsh shove in the direction of the exit.

as the man directed you and jj out of the building, you made a point to not bother interacting with the boy, ignoring his existence entirely, just as he had done to you previously. talking to him at the moment would only result in yelling at each other, and the idea of that was rather repulsive.

finally pushing past one of the glass doors, you attempted to wrench your arm away. it only ended with the guard’s hands squeezing even tighter. “dude, i can walk by myself- let me go.”

jj tried the same thing as you passed a distressed-looking kiara. “yeah, we have legs. can’t you see that, daryl? and, hey, thanks for the ‘discretion.’ let us just walk out by ourselves, yeah?”

nearly stumbling on stairs because of your heels, you made a noise out of exasperation, eagerly pulling back. “give me- oh my god, just let us go!” as heads started to turn in your direction, you desperately hoped that one of your parents would show up, but as daryl continued to haul you and jj (who continuously made comments to the people he passed) away from everything, you made one last hopeless attempt to get him to let go.

“wait!” you said, this time actually tripping on your heels. faking a stumble, you very nearly successfully fell out of daryl’s grasp. “these shoes are killing my feet. let me at least take them off if you insist on dragging us through the mud.”

he rolled his eyes, but loosened his grip.

bending slightly, you raised your left foot off the ground, undoing the buckle of your heel. as you stepped out of the shoe, you went to do the other, stealing a glimpse at jj. this is too easy.

finally standing on the bare ground, you turned back to daryl, shoving your heels to his chest. “would you mind holding these for me? thanks.” using the best of your strength, you threw him off, jj happily doing the same, and began backing in the opposite direction just as your father appeared from behind mr. carrera. his face went from confusion to anger in the span of less than three seconds, and you knew you’d be in for the biggest lecture of your life when you confronted your parents later. but for now, all you wanted to do was get off the property.

and jj seemed to have a similar idea, as his fingers brushed against your left hand, gesturing with the jut of his chin when you made eye contact with him. “come on.”

unable to help the satisfied smile that pulled at the corners of your mouth, you turned away, quickly following jj into the darkness as kie called after you.

“okay, i think we’re far enough,” you huffed heavily, slowing to a walk beside jj.

he ran his fingers through his disheveled hair as he nodded. for once he had nothing to say, and it made you stop on the sidewalk.

“so that’s it?” you started, grabbing his elbow and forcing him to look at you. “you’re just going to go back to ignoring me? after everything that just happened back there? at least tell me what i did for you to treat me like this.”

his blue eyes averted your own as he chewed on his busted bottom lip.

“what did i do, jj?” you asked as your arm fell back to your side, annoyance slipping into despair. “just tell me.”

jj looked at you, and even in the strained moonlight could you just now see how badly his upper left cheek was bruising. he was fiddling with the hem of his white button-up shirt as he stood, stubbornly remaining quiet.

sighing, you took a step closer, the pavement cool under your bare feet. he flinched back when you went to raise a hand. you licked your lips. “did…did rafe and the others do this?”

stiffening, jj lifted his chin and looked down at you, his expression morphed into something between disgust and vacancy. “no,” was all he said.

“oh,” you breathed, your body running cold, even in the humid night air. of course. “maybe you should come back home with me. i can-”

“no,” jj repeated more firmly, shaking off your words. “no, i don’t need your pity right now. go back to midsummers. you and kie looked like you were having loads of fun.”

you scoffed in sudden disbelief, realizing what this was about—why he had been ignoring you for nearly a full day. “i’m not- i’m not offering to care for you out of pity,” you told him bitterly. “you’re my friend, jj, and i’ll always try and protect you when i can. i’m sorry that you’re too naive to realize and accept that.”

jj took a step back, his hands balling into fists as he shook his head. “i don’t need your protection. i don’t need your compassion, or whatever the hell you wanna call it,” he spat. “and i don’t need you.”

“you’re just saying that,” you protested quickly, swallowing down the crack in your voice and blinking back the sharp sting of tears.

shaking his head again, jj’s lips pressed into a thin line. “go back to that big, shiny house of yours.” he wasted no time in turning around, his back straight as he walked away, the clarity of his figure growing less and less as he retreated.

unable to process the moment, you ran a hand over your face, forcing yourself to keep your composure and not yell out to him. what the fuck just happened? you thought, panic beginning to set in as jj officially disappeared around the block.

the house was quiet when you entered, and after a quick call for your parents, you realized they were still partying away at the country club. it was somewhat of a relief.

You parked the car in the driveway of your new home, a two-story house in the woods that surround Hawkins, Indiana. You turned your head to look at Peter, smiles on both of your faces, realizing that you had made it, had escaped the lab with Eleven safely if your backseat. You then turned to look at the small girl, who smiled back at you.

“You ready, El?” She silently nodded, smile still intact. Peter took his seatbelt off and left the car. He then opened Eleven’s door and helped her out, encouraging her to “explore” the new house. 

You left the car and hugged Peter, taking a moment to breathe it all in, to finally let it sink in that you had left, the three of you were safe in what is going to be your new home. “Let’s go, love, I want to see the inside of the house.”

You sent Eleven to wash her hands and offered to help her. You couldn’t see what they were doing, but Eleven’s giggles could be heard from the kitchen, which made you smile again. 

Dinner was a combination of calm conversation, Eleven’s new love for the waffles, and at the end, soft yawns followed by small denials of her being tired. Once the dishes were placed in the sink, a problem for later, you both showed Eleven to her new room. When decorating, you hadn’t been sure what Eleven liked, so you decided to paint the walls a light blue, with a white twin bed covered by a soft pink comforter. Your plan for the week was to take her shopping to look for other things to decorate her room, to make it hers. She had been grateful for the bedroom, which in a sense made you sad. You had seen the bedrooms of the children a few times while working in the lab, the white walls with the metallic bed that looked extremely uncomfortable, joined with cero decoration and cero signs of a child sleeping in it. 

Once you both tucked her in, you led Peter to the bedroom you were going to share. Just like Eleven’s, the room was almost bare, except for the bed, two nightstands, the closet, and the connected bathroom.

“You’ve done an amazing job, sweetheart.” You turned around to look at Peter, a small bashful smile once you saw his eyes full of adoration. “The house is incredible, El loves it, I do too.” 

“Thanks, Pete.” He walked forward and hugged your waist from behind.

“I can’t believe you got the adoption papers so quickly and the marriage certificate.” Small butterfly kisses were being placed along your jaw, lowering to your neck. 

“Those are lawyer secrets.” 

“Of course.” You moved your head to the side, allowing more space for Peter. “Let me see your ring again, then we can celebrate.” 

…

The next morning you woke up in an empty bed, Peter’s side neatly made. You groaned a bit and looked at the time. It was too early for a Saturday, the small alarm clock glaring at you with those red numbers that clearly stated that it was 7:45. 

You could hear a ruckus being made downstairs, probably Eleven and Peter making breakfast, or plotting to invade the world, from the sounds of it, it could even be both. You got dressed and went downstairs, mentally preparing yourself for what could be on the first floor. 

Peter and El were sitting at the kitchen table, drowning waffles in syrup. They were sitting side by side, giggling at the obscene amount of sticky liquid El was pouring on the food. 

“Waffles again?” Both of them turned around, surprised by my sudden entrance. “We’re having something different for lunch, no complaints.” Your walk to the kitchen was interrupted by sudden knocks against the front door. You looked at Peter warily, who then stood up slowly and followed you to the flat piece of wood. 

You both visibly relaxed once you saw the neighbors from the closest house. You had met the Wheelers only once, once you were given the keys of the house.  Karen Wheeler, was a mother of three, married to a weird guy named Ted. They had a son that you believed was the age of Eleven, but you weren’t fully sure. Once you opened the door, Peter and you were greeted by the five of them, a Casserole in Karen’s hands.

“Hello, Y/N! Welcome to the neighborhood, officially.” You kindly smiled and introduced Peter to the rest of the family.

“Hi Karen, thank you! All of you, come in, take a seat.” You led them towards the living room and signaled them to sit down. “This is my husband Peter, and our daughter Elaine.” Peter shook Ted’s hand and waved at the rest of the family. Eleven had left the table and had made room for herself between Peter and you. You didn’t miss how she gripped Peter’s pant leg and held your hand. The gesture made you melt and at the same time brought you down, reminding you how she felt unsafe when surrounded by other adults that weren’t you or Peter.

“Hello, Elaine. How old are you sweetheart? You look like Mike’s age.” Karen looked straight at her, and Peter could sense her nervousness, so he replied to her. 

“Elaine is about to turn 12, in about a month.” You held Eleven’s hand tighter and smiled down at her.

“Oh, then you’re just as old as MIke. Are you starting school on Monday?” You looked first at Mike, who looked extremely uncomfortable, and then at Karen. 

“We were going to homeschool El until next year, then she’ll join them,” Karen nodded slowly, and then bumped Ted’s shoulder, probably to make him ask something.

“So, erm, Peter, Karen tells me you work for the law firm, that's why you moved to Hawkins.” Peter looked at you, unsure what to say, considering Ted was very confused.

“No, not really. Y/N is the lawyer, for now, I’ll just be teaching El.” Peter and you could sense the Wheeler’s confusion, it was palpable.

“You do not work, Mr. Ballard?” Peter shifted in his place and smiled.

“No, not right now. I guess you could say we’re a modern family.” You knew it was meant to lessen the tension, but it seemed that it only made it worse. 

“That’s so interesting, Mrs. Ballard, you went to law school?” The oldest daughter, Nancy, looked up at you, interest covering her features. 

“I did, I studied psychology and then applied to Harvard Law.” Nancy seemed more interested now. Karen could sense her daughter was going to flood the new neighbor with questions, so she moved the conversation to another topic.

“We brought a chicken casserole, as a welcome gift.” You walked forward and held the glass container.

“Thank you so much, Karen, just now we were discussing our lunch options.” You walked to the kitchen, o leave the dish on the counter. While you were gone, Karen tried to arrange a playdate for El and Mike. 

“Mike and his friends are going to play together this afternoon, would you want to join them, Elaine?” Mike seemed to sink deeper into the couch, and you could feel Peter growing protective over Eleven. 

“Mom, we have a D&D party planned, I can’t just out of the blue invite Elaine.” Peter looked at you, unsure what to do with the current situation. 

“Mike, honey, they just moved here, include Elaine in your plans.” If you were being honest, you were also unsure about Eleven hanging out with a bunch of kids the day after leaving the lab. 

“Thank you for the invitation, Karen. Elaine and I might go for a bit so that she can meet the rest of the kids. We wouldn’t want to impose, it seems like they have a plan already set.” Mike seemed relieved at your input. You didn’t want to force Eleven to be with a bunch of kids she didn’t know, and you didn’t feel confident about her being there alone. Thirty minutes to meet the other kids seemed more than enough. 

“You and Peter should both come, that way you can meet the rest of the parents.” You kindly smiled at Karen.

“That sounds splendid, give us a time and we’ll go.” 

Once the Wheelers decided it was time for them to leave, Nancy approached you. “Hell Mrs. Ballard. I wanted to ask you something.” 

“Of course, what is it?” 

“So, I write for my school’s paper, and we have an empty section for this week, and I was wondering if I could interview you?” 

“That sounds fantastic, of course. When would you want to do it?” 

“We could do it tomorrow? If that’s okay?” You kindly smiled at her, while slowly walking towards the door to bid the family goodbye. 

“I’ll be at home tomorrow all day, I have some stuff to get in order before I start tomorrow at the firm.” 

“Great, is after lunch fine?”

“It’s perfect.” Once at the door, you waved goodbye to the family and slowly closed the door. You turned around to see Eleven’s quizzical look.

“What is school?” You looked at Peter, silently asking him if he wanted to take that one. He kneeled in front of the girl so that they could meet eye to eye.

“El, a school is a place where children go to learn. They learn to read, do math exercises, history, biology.”

“Can I go?” You rubbed El’s back gently.

“Well, school can be a bit overwhelming, so for a bit, Peter is going to teach you everything you need.” 

“If you want, we can start learning how to read on Monday. I’m sure we can find cool books we can start with.” 

“Books?” You walked forward and kissed Peter’s hairline, taking your leave. 

“I’ll leave you two curious creatures to solve the mysteries of the world. Honey, I’ve got some books in my office, boring lawyer stuff, but I’m sure they’re good enough for a quick introduction.” You then gently kissed El’s buzzed head and went into the kitchen.

…

After lunch, you both left Eleven at the dining table, with a set of crayons and a few sheets of paper. 

“Y/N, are you sure about going to the Wheeler’s later?” You and Peter were in the kitchen, cleaning the dishes from lunch and breakfast.

“Not 100%, but if she feels uncomfortable at some point, I’m sure she’ll tell us.” 

“Are you sure?”

“We’ve created a safe environment since day one, during our time in the lab. If you want, we can tell her that if she wants to leave, at any moment, we will go, that she doesn't need to worry.” You dried your hands with the towel beside you.

“Quick change of topic. Did you or did you not notice the looks Karen was giving you?” You slowly approached him, wrapping your arms around his waist. 

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. I was too busy looking at my incredible wife and amazing daughter.” You looked up and arched an eyebrow.

“So you did?” 

“It was extremely uncomfortable. I cannot believe her husband didn’t notice.” Peter lifted a now dry hand and stroked your cheek softly.

“Ted is a weird guy.” He kissed the tip of your nose. “I think we were all uncomfortable when he asked about your job.” Peter then placed a loose strand of his hair behind his ear.

“Hawkin’s a small town, I’m confident I’m the only househusband in all of Indiana.” 

“Make that all of America.” You then kissed him, and then again. “But that’s what makes you the best. I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive husband nor a better father for El. You’re so understanding, and patient, also very empathic.” Peter brought you closer to him, making any space between you inexistent. 

“What about you, fancy lawyer? I could tell Nancy Wheeler was impressed, very impressed. You’re such an amazing role model for El, she’s going to learn to never get stepped on, to stand her ground, and to never feel discouraged in any professional field.” You blushed and looked down, but Peter was quick to pull your chip up with his thumb and pointer. 

“Let’s just say we’re both pretty great.” 

While this intimate moment, you hadn’t realized that Eleven had left the dining room to show you her masterpiece. She had decided not to interrupt the scene. Eleven didn’t understand why, but seeing you and Peter, made her whole body fill with warmth, and appreciate her new family. 

Her masterpiece was simple. Three stick figures, A very tall one, a short one in the middle, and another tall one. Behind them, there was a simple house with a chimney and a tree beside it. 

Once you noticed her, you invited El to stick her drawing to the fridge. And the masterpiece stayed there, for a very long time.

Author's Note: So, this was my first time writing for Peter Ballard. I started writing a whole piece explaining their origin story, but it was getting very long and with little plot, o I decided to write this instead.

I want this to be like a different universe from the series' storyline. This piece is meant to happen during episode 1 season 1 before the boys played D&D.

If anyone wants another installment of this, send me a request and I'll see if I can make it fit with the storyline I have right now.

I've been thinking about writing a piece with Max, El, and Y/N when they go dress shopping for that winter forml they had. Stuff like that.

If anyone has any ideas they would want to read, feel more than invited to sent it to me and I'll see what I can do.

Summary: After a wedding there's the honeymoon

“Señor y Señora Páez”

You were it. You officialy were la Señora Páez. You were married to the love of your life, Pablo.

With only 24hrs of marriage you knew you’d never get tired of being called by your new last name and it was even better hearing it fall from your, now, husband’s lips, introducing you as his wife to everyone.

You smiled again, walking side by side, hand in hand with Pablo as you both admired the beautiful Palawan, already making up plans to explore the whole Isle and it’s beauty while you guys were given a little tour from one of the guide of the hotel you were gonna stay in for a whole two weeks.

“Your suite” The man said with a loving smile, letting you both in

“Oh god” You let out admiring the beauty of it.

It had a top to bottom corridor glass door, which gave you the perfect view of the sea and the sand combined with some trees and nature. The room itself was big and modern with some wood furniture around; it had one big bathroom with a combination of white and brown colored tiles, TV, couch, a table for you both to eat outside and other inside, the bed was extremely big and perfectly done.

In one of the bedside table there was a small bouquet of flowers and some balloons that read ‘Newlyweds’ along with your wedding date and initials. So simple and yet so gorgeous. It was already the perfect place and perfect honeymoon you could ever imagine.

You smiled pointing the little fact to Pablo who smiled, kissing your cheek.

“Welcome and congratulations” The man said with a smile after finishing the little tour “Please, contact me or any of the staff members if you ever need anything”

“Muchas gracias” Pablo said nodding looking around “I think we’ll be good for now, though” He pulled you closer to him, pecking your lips

The man nodded smiling and left you alone in your suite. You hugged Pablo and kissed his left shoulder

“Thank you” You said softly with a smile

“You don’t need to thank me, amor” Pablo smiled back at you “You deserve it, I deserve it, we deserve it. It’s our time” He spoke softly looking directly into your eyes “Wanna lay down for a bit? We have been going around since we woke up, sleeping in an airplane isn’t the best thing and yesterday we didn’t batted a single eye” You smiled remembering the last night events

After the long lasting party, you went directly into your room and declared your love for each other for the first time as husband and wife. It was a bit rushed, full of excitement but still filled with love and passion, today, for a whole two weeks and for the rest of your lives, you had all the time for yourselves.

You took a deep breath, grabbing his hands that were at your waist and guiding him towards the bed with you, humming “Yes, we can sleep in for a while” You agree nodding, you turned you both around and pushed him into the bed, straddling him “But we’re not leaving this bed today” Pablo’s hands were at your waist and instantly smiled

“You read my mind, preciosa”  

… ... ...

It had been one week and five days since you’ve been here in your honeymoon and it was the best one weeks and five days of your life. Being close to your husband, spending time with him with zero stress and work, no social media and just being normal; you even joked that Pablo hasn’t furrowed his eyebrows ever since you both got here, of course he had to deny it.

“Yes, I have”

“Liar”

“I literally just did when that hijoe’puta was checking you out”

You had laughed hard at that before reassuring him, he was the only one you were interested in and pay him attention to.

There weren’t enough words to describe how wonderful everything was, both of you getting to know the Isle, the Filipino’s culture, a bit of their language and even their food that you’d definitely try to do back at home.

“I wish we could stay here for the rest of our lives” You said softly not wanting to interrupt the quiet atmosphere between the two of you. After a whole day swimming, being on a boat, walking around you decided it would be good to eat outside, your reasons leveled up when the tour guide mentioned a fire and cultural dance.

After eating the delicious dinner, you both headed towards the fire, watching the Filipino’s dance whilst also watching the beautiful surroundings.

“Sí, sería muy lindo” You heard Pablo speak into your jaw, leaving kisses there “We can if you want to” You hummed lightly leaning more into him.

“Tempting” You smiled and stayed in silence for a few seconds “But we love Barcelona way too much” Both of you laughed lightly

“Even if you don’t know how to speak Catalan properly?”

“Shhhh” You put your hand on top of his face feeling him laugh “Don’t say it too loudly, it’s my secret” He grabbed your hand and took it away from his face “I can understand it tho”

“¿Estás segura?”

“Cállate” He laughed

“I’m so fucking glad you married me” He spoke, hands caressing yours

 “Well… I didn’t had much of a choice, you know?” He squeezed you a bit letting out an ‘Oye’ “I’m kidding, I’m kidding” You giggled “I’m glad you married me too. I love it. I love you and I love us, I also love the fact we’re slowly progressing in our relationship, our lives together” You spoke turning around enough to face him

“I love it too” He said “Soy jodidamente suertudo en tenerte” You smiled “I’m lucky for you to choose me to be yours and I’m lucky that you to accept be mine, to be your husband, your life partner and your everything for the rest of our lives. You don’t have any idea of how much I love you and feel about you” You felt a few tears swell up to your eyes

“I do have an idea” You whispered “Because I feel the same way”
