It was the 210th day since the Mandalorian had dropped you and the child off on Sorgan. He had told you that he was going on another bounty hunt but this time he wanted to keep you and the child in a place he knew would be safe and that he wouldn’t have to worry about you two. You had agreed with his decision but didn’t realize how much you would come to miss the Mandalorian. You hadn’t realized how much of your lives had become intertwined and how much you relied on him for.
Today you were scheduled to work at the commonhouse in the main town on Sorgan, the child was going to be spending the day with Omera and her daughter Winta. The krill farming community had quickly become a lifesaver for you and the child, whether it be Omera watching the child while you worked to save up a few credits or the social interaction that the two of you desperately needed ever since the Mandalorian had left. You were so grateful for them and all the help that they were able to give you as you worked and raised the child on your own.
Your shift at work was fast paced and you enjoyed the work so thankfully the day passed by quickly and soon you found yourself making the long trek to the farming community to go and collect the child. Slowly walking through the forest you admired the landscape of the mostly swamp filled planet. You wondered idly as you walked where the Mandalorian was now and what he was doing, you often thought about him on walks to the farming community or late at night when you had put the child to bed for the evening. Continuing to walk through the forest you started to see the huts of the community and could hear the soft murmur of the tribe as they went about their business.
Finally you broke through the tree line and could see the children running around playing as other tribe members worked in the fishing area and some were at the large fire pits cooking dinner for everyone. You smiled when you spotted the child tottering around after Winta and her friends as they danced around him laughing and cheering. Your eyes landed on Omera as she stepped out of her hut smiling at the children before she looked over her shoulder at someone still in her hut. Halting your steps you watched dazed as the Mandalorian stepped out of the hut and began walking down the steps towards the children. You sucked in a harsh breath at the image of his Beskar clad body shining with the sun's reflection, as if he heard you the Mandalorian looked up towards your way and an ugly cry escaped your mouth before you took off running towards him.
You ran blindly straight for the Mandalorian and only stopped when he caught you in his arms with a soft grunt. He gently took a step back with your momentum and looked down at you as you wrapped your arms around his waist and buried your face in his chest plate crying loudly. You could feel his arms awkwardly coming up around your body as you cried and you knew that he was probably so uncomfortable with your outward display of emotion but you couldn’t help yourself when you saw him after such a long time apart.
“I’m sorry.” you cried softly as tears continued to cascade down your face.
“What for?” the Mandalorian asked through his helmet and you looked up at him surprised. He actually sounded touched when he asked you the question.
“I’m a crying mess the first moment I see you again. I know you’re a private man and don’t show much emotion too often.” you said softly as you stepped back a step and wiped the tears from your face.
“I’ve left the two of you for too long. I promise I won’t ever do that again. The three of us are our own family and family sticks together. I’ve learned that while I’ve been away. I’m sorry for leaving you two for so long.” he confessed softly and you gasped softly at the heartfelt words that he said. His gloved hands came to cup either side of your face and tears slipped out of your eyes as his helmet was tilted down towards your face to indicate he was looking at you. “I promise never to leave you two like this again.” he promised solemnly and you nodded your head hurriedly as you grinned up at him. You moved forward and hugged him once more, feeling his arms wrap around you tightly as he hugged you back. Your own little family, it had a nice ring to it as you heard the child chirping down at your feet as he managed to climb up your pant leg until you held him securely in your arms between you and the Mandalorian.

29th Elf's Blessing
The Group arrives at a small town on the border of Standius, Daria, and Tamaratha, called “Three Corners.” There, they meet a beautiful man who tries to charm Nymandria into buying an elixir of life that he claims is brewed from the powerful “deathweed” that can only be found in Daria. She is not swayed by his charms or beauty, but buys one to study. She is able to determine that the elixir would actually cause great harm were she to drink it, and possibly reanimate her corpse as a skeleton. They avoid the market and spend the night in the Commonhouse.

What about festivals? I plan on opening my game at a festival that the players are attending for various reasons, and I'd like some games and such for them to play.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Adventure: Festival of the Awakening Earth
Through the sorrows and the joys, the world endures, and so, tragically, ecstatically, must we
Setup: That lurching, fickle season between the last thaw of winter and the full green of spring is a tenuous time for the peasantry, having eaten through most of their winter stores and suffered through the worst the year could throw at them: what better time to organize a festival? Drawing merchants and travlers from across the newly re-opened trade roads, inviting those separated by deep snows to once again reconnect, bringing news from afar and good tidings for the new planting season.
Such is the ethos behind the Festival of the Awakening Earth, a chance to reconnect with others and engage in some much needed spring cleaning in preparation for the upcoming merriment. This renewal is not simply limited to the dust in homes or muddy streets, but to those cluttered sorrows and other restless emotions the deep winter can bring, and attendants are invited to throw off their burdens and losses in a celebration of life renewed.
It wouldn’t be a peasant festival without an odd folk tradition that looks utterly bizarre and occult from the exterior. For the Festival of the Awakening Earth, that tradition takes the form of the Pyrebride, a veiled figure in white, festooned in pitch-dabbed straw.  The bride appears during days of the festival carrying a large basket, into which fare goers may deposit items representing their troubles: A keepsake from a departed loved one, a token from an unfaithful lover. On the last night of the Festival, the Pyrebride’s raiment adorns a straw filled effigy and sits atop a throne of oil soaked scaffolding and any old junk too large to be placed in the basket, to be set alight and burned through to dawn, taking the basket worth of troubles with her and signaling the start of the new year.
Adventure Hooks:
Merchants from across the realm gather at the edges of the festival grounds, hawking their wares to travelers and townsfolk alike. With the new year ahead of them, investors are eager to see what enterprises may arise and gather in commonhouses and drinking halls to see what deals may be struck. If the party is looking for a pecuniary patron, this is the place to look but they’ll have to be warry of unscrupulous individuals looking to press them and others into bad contracts.
The role of the Pyrebride is one of great honor, and is usually bestowed upon a local woman as a sign of the community’s trust in her ability to keep secrets. This year it was supposed to be Dottie Aurellian, the town’s favorite daughter who was due to be married come the festival’s conclusion and move off with her big-city suitor come the festival’s conclusion.  Dottie however is missing come the end of the festivities, along with her costume, and her basket. While rumors begin to circulate that the girl got cold feet, the woman’s disappearance is infact far more supernatural in origin. Perhaps the party would be helpful and look into it for their local contacts? Folks are anxious to see their yearly ritual completed and it would earn them enormous good will to see the bride-to-be returned.
Like many similar celebrations, the Festival of the Awakening Earth is merely a refurbishment of ancient pagan practices, venerating the old gods of the countryside who’s names have all but been forgotten in the face of more modern faiths.  One of these old-made-new rituals involves the unsealing of a once sacred cavern resting beneath the village, and a journey through the dark for those who wish to cleanse themselves, symbolizing a passage through the underworld and a rebirth. Little does anyone suspect, this subterranean passage was once a temple to Orcus: god of oaths, and retains a little of the dead deity’s power. Venturing down to the caves on a lark, or perhaps a dare, a partymmeber finds themselves lost in a winding of network of half flooded caves far larger than the tunnel was ever supposed to be. Part way into their ordeal, they are confronted by an unseen spirit, who whispers to them of a promise left unkept, and their power to make things wright. When the character emerges, they are soaked, disoriented, and touched by the power of  the judge below.
Further Adventures:
Dottie was kidnapped almost a week ago by a puckish, shapeshifting fey by the name of Kricket, who garbed herself as the Pyrebride garbed and played out Dottie’s role with her neighbors none the wiser. Kricket’s ruse wasn’t exactly perfect, and plenty of Dottie’s friends and family noticed the odd way in which she was acting, but mostly chalked it up to nerves about her upcoming nuptials. Tracking the threads of these oddities will allow the party to find the fey’s lair, a derelict barn in a disused barn not far out of town.
As creatures of imagination and allegory, meaning holds power to the fey in a way it never could for a mortal, and the basket full of mementos accrued by the Pyrebride each year is a treasuretrove of magical potential. All it would take would be a clever faerie smith to transmute the town’s worries and sorrows and jinxes into an arsenal of curses, a fact that Kricket hoped to exploit by pulling off this impersonation and then legging it to the nearest goblin-market this side of the feywild.
In her time wearing Dottie’s face, Kricket has grown envious of the love offered to the young woman by her family and her dashing spouse, and is begining to rethink her plan. Which is the greater prize? The Basket full of soon-to-be jinxes, or the life of peace and privilege she’s stolen a bite of? In preparation for taking the latter option she’s already transformed Dottie into a burlap effigy and is half way through the process of stuffing her with straw when the party arrives. Can these apprentice heroes convince the fey to undo her curse, or will they be forced to find another way to break the spell after slaying they shapeshifter?

Mayor Summey
Chapter Two: The Grand Opening
Tumblr media
Featuring North Charleston Mayor, R. Keith Summey
Last year, I attended the ribbon cutting and grand opening of North Charleston’s newest brewery, Commonhouse Aleworks. Being a half ass beer connoisseur, I decided it’ll be fun and a chance to sample some beer. I got there a little late for the opening ceremony, but right on time for the beer as headed for bar for a drink. I couldn’t keep my eyes from flickering from one old man’s face to another as I threaded through the crowd to the bar.
By the time I got my beer, I had my eye on one particular heavy-set daddy and as it turns out, it was mayor of the city, Keith Summey. Man, he was handsome, big and healthy with rosey cheeks and a smile that would warm your heart. He had a white goatee and I was in awe of his beautiful head of snow white hair. I immediately felt a stir in my pants, but I’ve got no shot with him and quickly turned my attention on my drink.
After a few drinks, I didn’t notice someone walk up beside me at the bar and ordered another beer. When I peek over and to my surprise, it was mayor Summey. Damn he looked good with his white chest hairs poking out of his unbuttoned shirt. I must have been staring to long as he notices me looking down at his shining gold wedding ring on his big nubby fingers as he clutching his drink.
"Enjoying the place?" He said to me grinning as he motions out to the crowd.
"I am now daddy." I boldly responded.
"Great, great." The old man answered his head tilted up and then down as he gave me the once over.
"Why don't we leave and find some place to get to know each other better." I said as I adjust my crotch, making sure he sees.
“You really don’t make any bones about it do you? The mayor said as he gives a little laugh and takes a sip from his drink.
"Well sir, I was taught to say what’s on my mind.” I said.
"Well son, I like that. I feel the same way to tell the truth, life is too short to beat around the bush! If you want meet me in the bath room in a few minutes sonny.” He said as he leaned over and whispered in my ear.
No other words are spoken as he winked at me and walked away weaving through the crowd. God! Did the old man look wonderful! I got up after I figured he had time to get to bathroom and quickly followed him.
Once in, I looked under stalls and saw the same sock less penny loafers that mayor Summey was wearing in the last stall. No one else was in the bathroom at all, so I gave the door to the stall a knock. He slowly opened the door and I locked it behind me after I was in. Without saying a word, the old fella pulled his pants down to his his knees to reveal a huge fat cock. I shut the lid to the commode and sat down. The stall was large enough where he could stand to the side of me with the commode blocked any view of his feet from anyone who might come in and look our way.
“What’s your name son.” He asked.
“Sean.” I respond.
“I guess you know who I am.” He added.
"Don't worry, I can keep my mouth shut... when needed." I said as I reached out to grab his big nut sack and held his bounty in my hands.
Looking up at Keith, I saw he had a big smile on his face as I slid my hand up, grasped his throbbing organ and jacked him slowly, savoring the sensation of having the mayor's cock my hand. It was about 7 inches, thick, veiny and most importantly, hard. I licked from the bottom of his shaft to the tip as he shuddered in pleasure before I slipped my lips over his manhood and went to work.
The mayor moaned as though he was in heaven while I tongued and sucked his cock. Looking up, I saw his shirt undone all the way as he twist and rub his nipples between his fingers while I pounded his cock. Squeezing his hairy ass with my hands, I pressed his crotch onto my face to signal I wanted him to fuck my mouth harder now. The taste of precum in my mouth was wonderful and he increased his tempo ramming that cock deeper and faster down my throat.
Suddenly, he did a double clutch with his hips and started to spew his thick milky cum in my mouth. What a blast of cum! I bet he hadn’t shot off in two months. It just kept on shooting as I sucked every thick wad that shot out of his big red cock head. His breathing was short as he grunted and moaned as quiet as possible when all of a sudden someone entered the bathroom!
We froze not making a peep until they had left. I whispered to him that I wanted to fuck him and without a word, he winked at me, turned around, dropped his pants to the floor and bent over to give me full view of his daddy ass.
I couldn't believe this was happening as I began passionately to lick and tongue his asshole. Then as I forced my tongue inside of him, the mayor began to hunch his ass against my face. I started twisting my tongue in his asshole exploring it, fucking him with it, giving all the pleasure I could extract out of my tongue.
After getting his hole good and wet, I mounted him. He didn’t say a word when I pressed the huge head of my cock against his spit glistening asshole. I just knew he would be tight but I was surprised when he took my cock so easy and I began fucking him fast and steady in seconds. His fucking ass was hot as fire and I pumped my dick in him like a bitch dog in heat. He held on to the tile wall as I stabbed him with my hot cock.
I went crazy with lust and started pounding his ass with my cock, pumping it in and out as fast as I could. I was fucking him like a paid whore, ramming it deep and hard. As he gasped for air, knowing he couldn’t make any noise, I could tell by him looking back at me that he wanted it even harder. I reached around and held on to his big fat belly as I began to shoot my load deep in his pretty ass. His ass made a sucking sound as my cum filled it to the rim. I reached up to feel his breast as I continued to pump his daddy hole. His nipples were hard as a rock as I pinched them before my dick finally slipped out.
What a fucking I had given the old sweet fella and he really loved it to. He had a big grin on his face as he turned around pulling his pants up. He leaned toward me and planted a big wet kiss on my lips to thank me.
"Here. In case you want to meet up again." I said as I slip a business card of mine into his shirt pocket.
"Maybe. We'll see." He said as he pat his shirt pocket lovingly before he went out and I followed moments later.
My knees were wobbly as I headed for the door. Mayor Summey was still there greeting the crowd, but walking a tiny bit slower than before our session. We both smiled at each other as I walked out of the brewery.

The pack’s encampment had settled overnight in one of the commonhouse great hall of a noble’s estate they had come to, freeing the lycan and human slaves from their chains and granting them the choice to join them or move onto a free like with them. The corrupt nobles who had served her father, had been swiftly dealt with by Sonja herself.
The pack and its newest members were grouped around the great hall’s table and fireplaces, celebrating their victory and enjoying dinner together. A smile played across the vampiress’s lips as she watched over them, seated at the head of the table with Lucian. Or rather, she was seated but Lucian was comfortably reclined on the floor while she ran her fingers through his hair, straightening out any tangles and unweaving the braids that had kept his hair out of his eyes in the battle. The pack was accustomed to the sight, the occasional newcomer cast a curious eye their way but Sonja paid it little mind.
Tumblr media
More had been freed from her father’s cruelty, her Lucian and his pack’s safety was further ensured. She was content, knowing they were far from Viktor’s grasp.
“You cannot remain down there all night, with your head in my lap my love. You should join in the celebration.” Sonja scolded playfully, not at all minding the arrangement. Both of them were free, and able to watch over their entire new family where they were resting. And not a single human nor lycan gave a damn if the pack alpha and his vampiress were intimate like this, no snide remarks would be made. It was refreshing.

A couple of the #MINI crew and I did our part to help local businesses by visiting some of the local breweries around #charleston. Our first stop was @commonhousealeworks and I picked up a couple of crowlers. If you’re in the #parkcirclenorthcharleston area, stop by and pick up a brew. When this pandemic is over, return to them for one of the best atmospheres in town. Great outside seating, good bands always playing, and of course, their beer is on point. If you follow me on @untappd you’ll know my history with this place. #minicooper #johncooperworks #jcw #brewery #minilover #minicoopers #r56 #r57 #f56 (at Commonhouse Aleworks) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAQ0-eZDoOD/?igshid=1cdjq30si7cbh

Grace Lee Boggs Film Screening 23/06 & Radical Education Forum 25/06
This month we have two exciting events coming up...
Grace Lee Boggs Fillm Screening and social evening
23rd June at the Common House, which is 5e Pundersons Gardens, Bethnal Green, London E2 9QG (5 minutes from Bethnal Green tube).
We’ve been meaning to screen this film for a few months now! Here it is!
American Revolutionary follows the inspiring life and drive of Grace Lee Boggs. Boggs was a Chinese American philosopher, writer and activist who lived through some of the major social movements of the last century in the United States, including the labour movement, civil rights movement, black power, Asian-American justice movements, feminisms and the environmental justice movement. The film explores her life and philosophy, rooted in the ideas that as reality changes, the ideas which fuel us have to evolve as well, and that “to make a revolution, people must not only struggle against existing institutions; in order to change/transform the world, they must change/transform themselves”.
The Radical Education Forum is a group of people working in a wide range of educational settings who meet monthly to discuss radical pedagogical theories and techniques and contemporary issues of interest to those involved in education.
As school children and teachers’ mental health and wellbeing reaches a critical breaking point, the world of education needs to become a revolutionary space, and the rights of children a new frontier in social justice movements as a baseline for all others. We hope that this film will inspire us as actors in our struggle and engagement.
The event will run from 6pm – 10pm giving plenty of time to meet and talk before and after. The film will be screened at 7pm. Feel free to bring food, and we’ll be joined afterwards by Ros, Dave and Les  who’ll be singing for THE NATIONAL INTEREST! For their songs, see https://niband.wordpress.com
The event is free, but we’ll be collecting donations to support the Common House.
Click here to view the film trailer.
Radical Education Forum: Beyond the Exam Factory
Our next Forum event will take place on 25th June, 7-9 pm at the Common House, which is 5e Pundersons Gardens, Bethnal Green, London E2 9QG (5 minutes from Bethnal Green tube).
We are excited to invite a Terry Wrigley as a guest speaker for this evening. Terry is editor of a new book 'Beyond the Exam Factory' published by the More Than A Score coalition. The key argument is that assessment in English schools is not designed to help children learn but to police schools and teachers. It does untold damage in the process: it causes stress to children, demoralises teachers, and provides little useful information to parents. It narrows the curriculum and penalises schools in the most disadvantaged areas.
This book was put together to open up real alternatives. It draws on a wealth of experience and expertise over many decades, in England and internationally. It presents examples of a wide range of assessment methods which have been eclipsed or forgotten due to the pressures of 'accountability'. Primary schools are a particular focus, but examples come from - and are relevant to - all age groups.
Copies of the book will be available at just £2 each, or can be downloaded from https://morethanascore.org.uk/beyond-the-exam-factory-free-book/
As a suggested reading, we have the chapter from ‘Beyond the Exam Factory’ entitled ‘Democratic alternatives to early assessment’ by Guy Roberts - Holmes on pages 42-51.
