ok but can we take a moment to consider the parallels.

two supernatural entities, one is the fucking sun (metaphorically) the other is grumpy af like heavy rain really.

we discover that the grumpy is so grumpy because he/they had to spend decades (millenia) in hell.

the sunshine always smiles and is kind to everyone just becuase he/they can.

they are best friends on earth, escaping heaven/hell scheming for decades/millenia.

they act like an old married couple and they are clearly in love.

the grumpy one realizes that and boom: love confession but the sunshine one doesn't understand cause they needed time.

What if. A silly little he/they guy. But! He's really messed up emotionally and mentally. Like. Constantly puts others first to his own detriment and calls himself manipulative kind of messed up. Also he's in a time loop. NOT a fun one. But! There's this jock in his party that he can joke with. And they looove making him smile! And! That jock is head over heels for our tiny hero. But! Siffrin is soooo insecure and I'm 100% sure Isa could fix him if he wanted to. They love telling each other just the worst puns and jokes imaginable.

[SPOILERS] -> Isa was a big nerd before he decided he wanted to be a huge jock and now he wants to design clothes now that he saved his county (along side his other friends)

Siff is just a little guy (literally)(he is short) who loves the stars abs doesn't remember a lot about his past. He constantly worries if he's being enough for the rest of his companions and always tries his best to make sure they're happy. He has soooo much trouble seeing value in himself and prioritizing his own needs and it makes me soooo sad :( he deserves to have someone like Isa.

[SPOILERS] -> Siff knows that Isa wants to confess after thier battle w the bbeg, but siff can't get Ida to say it no matter what they try :(

A Delayed Reunion (part 1 of 3)

Finally! After working on this in my free time for what feels like forever, Part 1 is done! In case it wasn't obvious, this is my take on their needed emotional conversation after all the world-saving business in s3 is done. I started on this shortly after s2 came out cause I had waaayyy too many emotions about the ending.

This comic will be exploring how I personally interpreted everything that was said (and not said) between them in those dreaded last 15 minutes of episode 6. And don't you worry, it will come to a happy ending. I couldn't bear to leave these two angsting, my heart couldn't take it.

Good Omens Season 2 Spoilers

I agree the Metatron is up to something and can't be trusted but I really hope the coffee theory isn't true.

It robs Crowley and Aziraphale's fight of any actual emotion and stakes. Because if Aziraphale is drugged then he didn't choose to go back to heaven over running away with Crowley so then the choice and subsequent argument means nothing.

I don't think Aziraphale was out of character either. He's always been more naïve and idealistic than Crowley and his issues were with the archangels actions and apathy, not Heaven itself. He still believes Heaven and angels are 'the good guys'. He believes Crowley is good but he sees him as an exception to the rule that everyone in hell is bad, not as evidence that anyone has the capacity to be good. So in his mind of course Crowley would jump at the chance to be an angel again because Crowley is good and angels are good so why would he ever want to stay a demon? It's not until the Metatron says to Aziraphale that Crowley could be his number two that he even lets himself consider it. Crowley was the deciding factor for him.

Why he still goes when Crowley refuses to is because he doesn't understand Crowley's point of view, what matters to Aziraphale the most, even after all these years is doing good and from his viewpoint Crowley is choosing not to do good. And even then he still briefly seems to return the kiss, his hands on Crowley's back, he still hesitates and considers going after Crowley when the Metatron asks if he needs to take anything with him. And when Aziraphale realises that Heaven is planning the second coming, that ending life on earth is still their goal, he realises Crowley may be right after all and that's why he hesitates and searches Crowley out.

Why he chooses to go into the elevator after that moment is less clear. I would say it's either because he's in too deep and feels he can't back out now or that he thinks it's better he has a part in the second coming than heaven choosing someone else. However that little smirk at the end...it's clearly hinting at something but I don't know what.

All of which is to say - the Metatron fully manipulated Aziraphale, he knew he would never willingly leave Crowley but he also knew Crowley would never willingly return to heaven. He set up the situation for them to fight but Aziraphale still said and did what he did of his own volition. And that's far more powerful and painful than him being drugged and controlled.

Been thinking a lot about the contrast between Gabriel/beelzebubs love story and Crowley/aziraphale’s love story and tbh it makes perfect sense to me.

Gabriel and Beelzebub had an idyllic and simple love story because they are fundamentally not complicated as beings. They’ve never, not once in their immortal existences, stopped for even a second to question themselves and whether they were doing the right thing. And it makes sense, because they’ve never had reason to. With the exception of the Armageddidn’t, every single thing has always worked out exactly the way they wanted to.

They were both at the very top of their power structures- other than a mostly absent g-d/satan- and so they were the ones giving the orders. They wanted something done, and it happened! Just like that. So of course when they fell in love, they went “oh okay,” saw what they wanted, and made it happen. They went for it without a single question or doubt because it’s what they’d always done, and it worked out largely because they expected it to. End of story, start of blissful eternity on alpha centauarion.

Now, az and Crowley, on the other hand, have done nothing but question themselves and their decisions and basically everything around them for 6000+ plus years. Even before humans, they were never quite as at ease within the status quo as everyone around them. And then humans came along, and they “went native”. They’re not human, no, but they’re about as close as you can get and still have wings. so of course their love story was so achingly human. I mean, what else could it be, really?

They’re on their own side, and they question and they doubt and they pine and they agonize over furtive glances and stolen touches and communication breakdowns and it’s an absolute mess.

Because their love story is so human and that’s what makes it so beautiful.

Eustass Kid/Killer:

Friends/lovers since childhood, would kill and die for each other. [SPOILERS for those who have not watched/read the Wano arc yet] Killer ate a defective SMILE fruit to safe Kid, making him unable to swim and show any other emotion than laughing (and gains him nothing), and he also knew exactly where to cut off Hawkins' arm so he wouldn't harm Kid (because he knows his body so well). Kid promises to kill whoever makes fun of his partner, and lets himself be recaptured after escaping prison because Killer had gotten himself captured.

If this ain't love idk what is.

The captain/right-hand man dynamic. They call each other aibou (partner). If your partner doesn't tell you that he will send whoever laughs at you to hell then he is not worth it. Killer hates his own laugh to the point that he stopped laughing out loud and started wearing a mask. But then he was forced to eat a defective devil fruit (because they promised he could see Kidd if he did) so he's been cursed to only laugh no matter what emotion he's trying to express. That's why Kidd said that, it's so full of weight for someone like Killer. And when Kidd was imprisoned and he worked so hard to escape, but as soon as he saw Killer being pulled into the same prison he just broke out from mans did not hesitate for even a second to go right back in.

Crowley/Aziraphale:

I totally headcannon that initially, the ‘Angel’ thing was just because Aziraphale was a mouthful, but then, in, like, 110 BC, the seventh person to ever exist saw them and they were so homoerotic that they thought he was calling him ‘Angel’ because of a pet name, and they started calling loved ones ‘Angel’, and then, later, it actually became a pet name after Crowley realizes that he’s in love with him

It's chilly and rainy at my house today, so here's a bit of smut to help warm everyone's bones. A basic alien-sex-pollen type romp. I had a lot of fun writing it.

But Aziraphale kept shaking his shoulder, saying his name until he groaned and opened his eyes.

He was lying on his back. Aziraphale was leaning over him, his worried face filling most of the view.

Behind the angel's head stretched a vast, domed ceiling, made up of thousands of hexagonal mirrors. He could see himself, and Aziraphale, reflected over and over, lying together on what felt beneath him like a bed. A pink bed. A deep-pink, heart-shaped honeymoon bed, shining and alone in the center of the brightly-lit room.

He shut his eyes again.
