OG Wukong and Macaque get sent to a Role Swapped Universe while battling a minor demon with a taste for forbidden spells.

Golden eyes slowly opened, a throbbing headache echoing in the owner’s head and body as they sat up. “Ow… why the hell am I in Macaque’s dojo?” the golden monkey muttered in confusion before the last events flashed through his brain and he let out a long stream of curses getting to his feet and letting a wave of golden magic cover his form. It was a simple spell to hide his minor cuts, small tears in his clothes, and the golden blood he was not going to explain to random strangers. He then cast a secondary spell that would render anyone unable to notice him unless they were already intuned to his magic aka Mk and his group. ‘You’d think letting Mk have a week off to get therapy would give Mac and me time to just get into the flow of things again but no the first demon we encounter uses forbidden spells and then sends us spiraling through an unknown portal.’ the golden monkey thought before swiftly booking it out of the dojo and up into the rooftops of the city scanning for anything that was a large tip-off to what was going on. He saw the date on one of the homographs screens and mentally cursed. ‘Okay, I got dumped at some point before Spider Princess shows up. Just great. Just my monkey luck cashing in again. This is going to end up in some sort of fight. At least I know when and where I am, small miracles Wukong.’ The golden monkey, Wukong, mentally went over in his head and he ran easily jumping and flipping over the rooftops with the ease of a seasoned acrobat.

Wukong came to a stop hearing a familiar sound before the scent of pears mixed with paper and noodles wafted to his sensitive nose. “Shouldnt you be at home right now Kid?” Wukong asked aloud turning to face the teenager only to be met with an angered Mk wearing a plum purple jacket and dark pants instead of his usual orange jacket and red pants. ‘This is a red flag… Mk doesn't own anything that is majorly purple.’

“What are you doing back here Wukong? Come to try and convince me to be your student again? Well, hard pass!” Mk sneered before attacked the golden monkey.

“Hey wait- damn it Kid!” Wukong easily dodged the strickes he did not teach Mk. ‘Those strikes are similar to Mac’s style.’ Wukong thought falling into a familiar groove of dodging the staff until he finally caught the staff. “Will you stop trying to hit me and listen for a minute Xiaotain?!” Wukong snapped using the teen’s birth name to snap him out of the anger.

“Don’t you dare call me that!” Mk shouted yanking the staff out of Wukong’s grip and sending a wave of purple magic at the monkey.

Wukong braced bringing his arms up as the wave passed him but caused his many spells layering his body to shatter in a flash of gold. Crystalized golden irises set in demonic red sclera looking at the teen in shock, golden blood trailing down the golden monkey’s light cuts along his arms and left side, his normal attire messed up with tears and slight burns, shocks of icy blue and white colored fur broke up the golden fur like small veins while a thick golden crown rested snuggly on the golden monkey’s forehead worn with age and battles long forgotten by time. The teen gapped at the golden monkey in stunned stupidor. “That…. That was just supposed to knock you away… not… not do what ever it just did.”

Wukong didn't have time to process what the kid was saying before a wave of dizziness crashed into him his ears ringing while his vision became spotty before he blacked out.

Crystallized demonic red sclera with molten gold eyes cracked open seeing familiar stonework glowing with faint purple runes before the owner of the crystal eyes shot up hissing in minor pain from the many cuts that had been cleaned while something thick was around his throat. ‘A collar?!?’ Wukong thought as he looked to see he had been changed into a dark pair of pants and a dark purple silk sash around his waist.

“Well, this is just humiliating.” Wukong frowned as he got off the cot and examined the doors and walls. “Magically resistant… but not impervious,” Wukong noted as he pulled his fist back and punched the door sending it off its hinges with a small smirk on his lips.

‘Someone didn't take into account my natural strength and underestimated me.’ Wukong thought as he looked about for a way out and proper clothes or at least a shirt to cover his top. “Why did i let myself get so fat to begin with?” Wukong muttered lowly idly poking at his chubby sides and stomach self-consciously. Compared to mortals he looked to have a ‘dad bod’ from what he had over heard Mei and Mk comment the one time they saw him shirtless. He shoved those thoughts aside as he made his way to the staircase and began to climb the stairs straining his natural senses for anything hint of Macaque. ‘Where are you Mihou?’ Wukong thought picking up speed wincing slightly as his bare feet touched the cold stone stairs. ‘Damn it. Why are the burns acting up now!?’

The Golden monkey reached the landing of the new floor picking up a faint tickle of shadow magic down the hall. ‘There!’ Wukong steadily made his way down the hall coming to the last door at the very end of the corridor. He grabbed the handle and easily twisted the metal to break the internal lock pushing open the door to a pitch-black room that made his fur stand straight on the back of his neck. “Moon?” Wukong cautiously called before helping as a cold and rubbery mass wrapped around his ankles pulling him inside as more of the mass immobilized his limbs.

“Well well well~ you're definitely not Shihou, far too strong to be him.” a familiar yet slightly darker voice spoke from the pitch-black darkness. “Just who are you?”

Euclid’s view of the Horsehead Nebula by European Space Agency Via Flickr: Euclid shows us a spectacularly panoramic and detailed view of the Horsehead Nebula, also known as Barnard 33 and part of the constellation Orion. At approximately 1375 light-years away, the Horsehead – visible as a dark cloud shaped like a horse’s head – is the closest giant star-forming region to Earth. It sits just to the south of star Alnitak, the easternmost of Orion’s famous three-star belt, and is part of the vast Orion molecular cloud. Many other telescopes have taken images of the Horsehead Nebula, but none of them are able to create such a sharp and wide view as Euclid can with just one observation. Euclid captured this image of the Horsehead in about one hour, which showcases the mission's ability to very quickly image an unprecedented area of the sky in high detail. In Euclid’s new observation of this stellar nursery, scientists hope to find many dim and previously unseen Jupiter-mass planets in their celestial infancy, as well as young brown dwarfs and baby stars. “We are particularly interested in this region, because star formation is taking place in very special conditions,” explains Eduardo Martin Guerrero de Escalante of the Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias in Tenerife and a legacy scientist for Euclid. These special conditions are caused by radiation coming from the very bright star Sigma Orionis, which is located above the Horsehead, just outside Euclid’s field-of-view (the star is so bright that the telescope would see nothing else if it pointed directly towards it). Ultraviolet radiation from Sigma Orionis causes the clouds behind the Horsehead to glow, while the thick clouds of the Horsehead itself block light from directly behind it; this makes the head look dark. The nebula itself is made up largely of cold molecular hydrogen, which gives off very little heat and no light. Astronomers study the differences in the conditions for star formation between the dark and bright clouds. The star Sigma Orionis itself belongs to a group of more than a hundred stars, called an open cluster. However, astronomers don’t have the full picture of all the stars belonging to the cluster. “Gaia has revealed many new members, but we already see new candidate stars, brown dwarfs and planetary-mass objects in this Euclid image, so we hope that Euclid will give us a more complete picture,” adds Eduardo. The data in this image were taken in about one hour of observation. This colour image was obtained by combining VIS data and NISP photometry in Y and H bands; its size is 8800 x 8800 pixels. VIS and NISP enable observing astronomical sources in four different wavelength ranges. Aesthetics choices led to the selection of three out of these four bands to be cast onto the traditional Red-Green-Blue colour channels used to represent images on our digital screens (RGB). The blue, green, red channels capture the Universe seen by Euclid around the wavelength 0.7, 1.1, and 1.7 micron respectively. This gives Euclid a distinctive colour palette: hot stars have a white-blue hue, excited hydrogen gas appears in the blue channel, and regions rich in dust and molecular gas have a clear red hue. Distant redshifted background galaxies appear very red. In the image, the stars have six prominent spikes due to how light interacts with the optical system of the telescope in the process of diffraction. Another signature of Euclid special optics is the presence of a few, very faint and small round regions of a fuzzy blue colour. These are normal artefacts of complex optical systems, so-called ‘optical ghost’; easily identifiable during data analysis, they do not cause any problem for the science goals. The cutout from the full view of the Horsehead Nebula is at the high resolution of the VIS instrument. This is nine times better than the definition of NISP that was selected for the full view; this was done for the practical reason of limiting the format of the full image to a manageable size for downloading. The cutout fully showcases the power of Euclid in obtaining extremely sharp images over a large region of the sky in one single pointing. Although this image represents only a small part of the entire colour view, the same quality as shown here is available over the full field. The full view of the Horsehead Nebula at the highest definition can be explored on ESASky. BEETLEJUICE GRAVEYARD REVUE AU!!!!! (With art)

Im not very active on here anymore but to those that follow me on Twitter uh you know im #normal about the beetlejuice graveyard revue and I’ve been working on an au for this niche universal show for the past month.

Before we start idk if you all know what this show is so in simplest terms the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue is a theme park show that ran in the Universal parks from 1991-2016 (in the US). In the show, Beetlejuice puts on a rock and roll show featuring the Universal Monsters HOWEVER, given that they are monsters and not hip cool rock and rollers, BJ transfunkafies the monsters into rockstars for the show (with the audiences help)

The monsters included in the show originally are:

• Dracula

• Frankenstein’s monster

• The Bride of Frankenstein

• The Wolfman

• The Phantom of the Opera

Further down the line Erik was removed and replaced with Hip and Hop, and later, Cleopatra and Phantasia. However, in this AU it’s just gonna be this set of monsters (with some appearances by Hip and Hop)

ANYWAY. THE AU. what if beetlejuice turns the universal monsters into rockstars, as per usual, but he can’t turn them back to normal afterwards. So BJ being BJ is like KACHING so he becomes their manager/ring leader and they become like an official touring band.

All the monsters retain their memories and characteristics in this change, but they get new skills and slight changes in personality in order to fit this star power vibe. They’re like chemically engineered rockstars.

Drac is like the gay emo cousin and that’s the best way I can describe it he’s always hungry always trying to bite someone you tell him to stop and he’s like “oooHHHH MY gOoOOdAAH”. Hip and Hop are like their groupies!

One time they forgot Dracula at like a pitstop and he did hard drugs, got 7 tattoos he couldn’t pay for, killed 4 people and injured 12, he also fucked some bitches and sucked a ton of blood. they picked him up later that day

Frankie is very nice and not very bright and Drac and BJ especially like messing with him. The bride is the defacto leader if Beetlejuice isn’t there. Bride is the most levelheaded one that’s why she’s the leader and they all listen to her cause a. She’s hot b. Yeah she seems to know what she’s talking about c. Feminism!

Bride and Frank are both not very bright but Bride is really confident and logical so she can figure things out quicker but she and Frankie still do little homeschool lessons sometimes. I think it’d be lessons from BJ but they’re all horribly distorted so Erik has to come and be like no no stop omfg. BEETLEJUICE. YOURE GONNA GIVE THEM STDS… LOWER YOUR HAND FRANKIE. They’re also few and far between cahse BJ doesn’t care and forgets also. If they’re bickering (Phantom and BJ) Bride and Frankie read up on their own (if they care) and help each other.

Wolfie is not allowed alone because if you leave him alone for too long he will destroy the furniture. He’s usually with Beetlejuice, if not he’s with the #gang if not he’s with hip and hop but he’s not allowed alone

Beetlejuice and the phantom are basically the ones in control most of the time (they are married) (they aren’t) (they might as well be) this is where the feminism comes in although phantom would be second in command if beetlejuice wasn’t there. hes a sort of a cryptic fellow (he’s also very dramatic) anyway he’ll just do his own thing UNLESS someone touches him the wrong way then he’s like the dramatic ass we know and love and he’ll be just immature as the rest of them. My boys also been trying to not be as much of a dick to women and he also likes bride cause who doesn’t. so he likes that she’s the one taking the lead if not him.

Also on phantom being the only one with a license it’s really funny cause his song has that car thing going on. frank shouldn’t be anywhere near a wheel, bride does not know or care to drive she’s literally one week old, drac would purposely throw them off a cliff, Wolfie would drive like he’s playing gta and BJ is a lazy fuck. At one point Erik quits and begins working at Kmart and then right after Kmart goes bankrupt.
