I suppose that’s part of the familiarity that comes with spending time with these characters. I write with flair and flourish. I pride in my characters sounding dramatic, poignant or poetic at times. Even so, I think Harvey is well-spoken, passive-aggressive at times, and melancholy at others. Scar-vey is a brute. Still intelligent, still charismatic, but a brute nonetheless. He doesn’t do poetry unless it is the filthy kind.

Batman and his “other” (spoilers!) – have differences in the same way. Bat is concise, contained and expresses only as much as he needs to. The other is dramatic, prophetic, archaic but also theatrical and poignant.

What's your opinion on crossovers? I'm not really talking in the "whoa, what if the power rangers meet doctor who!" (why was that my example?) crossing over way. More like, B:TAS crossing over with The Batman. AND NOW, my segue into asking you your favorite versions of your favorite characters! Though based on what I've seen in your blog I'm kinda assuming the answer is Battinson in some form. Oh also just kinda scrolling through your blog was delightful <3

omgg, I absolutely love the riddler in the animated series. Chaotic twink of crime. Deserves his own movie. Showers regularly and exfoliates with Dick's tears.

I love Harley in B: TAS at the start and finish. The Suicide Squad (2021) and Birds of Prey!

I can't wait for Xolo Maridueña's Blue Beetle! I don't talk about Jamie enough, but he's been in my heart since Batman: The Brave and the Bold since I was like. 13? Can't wait!!

Harleen (2019-) has its issues for sure, but I absolutely ADORE Stejpan Sejic's version of Harvey.

His character is far from perfect, but this design IS my favorite. He's drawn for the gays and the whores and it shows.

The Long Halloween, Detective comics # 1068 and B:TAS are my favorite in terms of characterization!!
