Request: Hello, I was excited to see you’re opening requests. I've had this idea brewing in my head but I cannot write to save my life. Am thinking of a version for each SKZ member - overprotective younger brother SKZ who's proud of your success in the corporate world (you're all he talks about and hes got them intrigued), but refuses to introduce his noona to the member because he's wary of their flirtatious ways or even crush on you. And then you turn up at an event to surprise your brother and then... I'll leave the rest to your talented imagination because I don't know what kinda ending I'd want for each SKZ member.

cw: none really, just me trying to be funny, the short scenarios are lowkey bad but it was so difficult to come up with different situations and not reuse the same one over and over 😭

Bang Chan

You’re not much older than Chan, but you’re so successful at your corporate job back in Australia that Chan often talks about you to his members and sometimes his fans.

He has for sure mentioned you on his lives, and everyone can see that he really cares about his older sister.

Definitely doesn’t take kindly to fans asking if you’re single or attractive, he’s never given out your name or shown what you look like just because of that.

With the members, it’s not that he thinks they’ll purposely flirt with you, but his protective brother side just gets the better of him and he’d rather not take the chance. The boys are very interested in meeting you but even they don’t know your name or what you look like, and they love their lives enough that they don’t push Chan.

The boys are so confused when you first show up at the concert in Sydney, confused as to who you are until Chan calls you Noona, then they’re all over you once Chan (reluctantly) introduces you to them.

Personally, I don’t think they would be able to flirt with you knowing you’re their hyung’s older sister, which makes you older than them obviously.

I.N and Felix absolutely would ask if they could call you their Noona too 🥹 Seungmin would totally have to hold back on his ‘Chan is so old’ jokes just cause he doesn’t want to make you feel old.

You were waiting backstage for Chan with Hannah, your little sister had practically begged you to come with her to the Stray Kids concert. You hadn’t been to any of your little brother’s concerts before as your job always kept you busy, and you felt a little guilty that you hadn’t been able to attend before now. So when the concert date coincided with your vacation days, you knew you had to jump on the opportunity.

The cheers from the stadium arena were so loud that you wondered how Chris and his members were able to handle it. You kept yourself occupied with Hannah by talking about Chris and his friends, Hannah claimed that they were a rowdy bunch and from what you had seen online while trying to be a little involved in Chan’s idol career, you didn’t think for a second that she was wrong.

You heard him before you saw him, his voice unmistakable to you. He was laughing and joking with his members, whom you regrettably couldn’t name off the top of your head. What can you say? Chan never talks about them with you, and you don’t see much about them often enough in order to memorize them.

“Christopher Bang Chan, what do you think you’re doing to that poor boy. Put him down.” You chided your brother as you saw him walking backstage with one of the boys thrown over his shoulder. The sound of your voice made Chan stop dead in his tracks, making a few of the members behind him bump into him. “Y/n? Noona, what are you doing here?” He asked in surprise, ignoring the looks from his members, as he set down the fox looking boy and walked over to you to engulf you in one of his infamous hugs, he also pulled Hannah in for a hug too despite her protests.

“Decided to surprise you, my vacation days lined up with the concert and Hannah begged me to bring her so.. surprise?” You hummed once he let go, “Chan hyung, are you going to introduce us or are we gonna be left in the dark over here?” Seungmin pipes up. Chan definitely tenses, realizing he needed to introduce you to his friends but you beat him to it, already walking over to them. “Hi, I’m Y/n, Chris’s older sister.”

That’s all it takes for the younger ones to start asking you more questions, and your heart swells when Felix and Jeongin ask to call you Noona as well. “Yes, of course you can!”

Lee Minho

I actually don’t think Minho would talk about you much to anyone but the other members, like yeah, the fans know he has an older sister but any more information they have runs dry after that.

The boys are definitely curious though, cause Minho actually talks about you a lot with them, saying how you’re the co-CEO of a company that raises and donates money for charitable causes.

Even though he shares a lot about you to his friends, he gets weirdly protective over his calls with you cause he doesn’t get to speak with you often.

Literally locked the boys out of the dorm once cause they would not shut up while attempting to say hi to you during one of your rare phone calls.

“I am going to stuff your mouths with tissues and air fry all of you.”

Minho and the rest of Stray Kids were at a fansign event, they were all exhausted. They loved getting to interact with Stay and everything, but it always took a lot of energy from them to keep up with their fans’ excitement. Minho was the last seat, the line of fans seemingly unending to him.

You were at the fansign, unbeknownst to your poor little brother, who had tried so hard to keep you from meeting his rowdy group mates. You had introduced yourself to each member by just your name, and conversation was smooth. Weirdly enough, each boy had felt like they had heard your name and voice before, but they passed it off on being tired. You were the last in line anyway.

Minho hadn’t noticed you until you were literally standing right in front of him, had to hold himself back from leaping over the table towards you. The boys have never seen him talk so animatedly with a fan before. Then they heard him call you noona and they immediately realized who you were.

Chan may or may not have asked staff to keep you afterwards, or it might’ve been Lee Know. You won’t be finding out any time soon.

When the fansign event was over, all of the boys found themselves rushing to properly greet you. But Minho had picked you up and kept you away from them.

“Hyung! Let the pretty lady down!” Changbin whined, but that just spurred Minho to keep you to himself. “Nuh uh! My noona, you guys can’t have her!”

Seo Changbin

You’re his older sister by 5 minutes, yes you’re his twin.

You could’ve easily followed him into the idol industry, Changbin tells you all the time that your visuals would kill. But you just didn’t want that life for yourself, and he respected that.

He’s actually very proud to call you his noona, and doesn’t let anyone forget that he has a successful sister.

“My twin sister is an ambassador for a corporation, and is one of the most reputable women in her position.”

Has told the members how you were his biggest supporter during his predebut days. They secretly admire you very much for that.

Very thankful for you cause they otherwise wouldn’t have Binnie as a member and friend if not for you.

Fans know he has a twin, and you’re actually very active on his socials so fans actually know who you are, they love you. I think the boys at one point looked up your socials and got shy because of how pretty you look, definitely felt a little guilty for thinking like that, but they couldn’t help but agree with Changbin about your visuals.

Tbh, I really don’t think he would try to keep you from meeting them on purpose, they’ve definitely asked but Changbin just never had the chance to set anything up with you since both of you have extremely busy schedules.

“Binnie!” A familiar feminine pitched voice shouted from the front row, Changbin turned around quickly on stage, surprised to have even been able to hear you apart from the crowd.

Changbin excitedly moved over to the other side of the stage where you were standing in the front row, a huge smile on his face as he waved at you. The cameras caught this moment, showing you on the large projection screens in the stadium. The crowd cheered loudly at seeing the Seo siblings in the same place. Obviously, this caused the other members to noticed as well.

For the rest of the concert, each of the boys had, at some point, come around to you and interacted with you a little bit. Changbin made sure to put on a show of shooing them away from you. The rest of the concert was fun, you occasionally appearing on the screen when Changbin would start rapping as you hyped him up, cheering the loudest from your section of seats.

After the concert, some staff had corralled you backstage and a loud, excited Changbin came running up to you and picked you up in a bear hug that made you laugh loudly. Once he set you down on your feet, all the other boys had gathered around to meet you officially. You bowed respectfully as you introduced yourself and the boys couldn’t help but think you were the cutest person to bless their eyes.

Hwang Hyunjin

You’re a famous model that also owns your own clothing line, it’s also very well known that you’re Hyunjin’s older sister.

Hyunjin is always wearing something from your brand, and Stay has made a game out of finding what piece of his outfit is from your brand, it’s even got its own hashtag on social media.

Hyunjin will even model for you when he has the chance to do so, but let’s be fair, he does it everyday anyway.

He’s so proud of you, and always talks about you with anyone who will listen.

Felix is the only member who has met you because you had been at a Louis Vuitton fashion event that Felix had been invited to attend.

Hyunjin definitely wasn’t happy about not being there to introduce you himself. (And maybe worried that Felix had charmed you)

You were sat at a table, enjoying a flute of champagne and eating fancy food that you couldn’t pronounce the name of. These kinds of fashion events had always bored you, sitting at an assigned table with designers and models that you knew nothing about and having to listen to the event host drone on and on about what a privilege it is to have so many guests attending.

But your interest was suddenly piqued when the host announced that they had a few special guest models, all the way from South Korea. Your eyes widened greatly and you nearly spat out your champagne when you watched Hyunjin and seven other males step onto the the runway, modeling random designs. Your brother and his bandmates had come to this event as well and you hadn’t even known.

When the event was over, the guests were left to mingle. You immediately stood from your seat and made your way towards the table you had seen your brother sit down at. When you got there, Hyunjin had his back facing you as he spoke with Felix, who smiled when he noticed you. “This is treason, Hwang Hyunjin.”

Your sudden voice behind him made the poor boy jump in surprise and nearly spill his drink on Felix who just laughed. Hyunjin quickly turned and met your eyes with surprise. “Noona? I didn’t know you’d be here? And what’s this about treason?” He asked, still recovering from the shock.

“Modeling for someone else, I see how it is, your noona’s designs aren’t good enough anymore.” You feigned your sadness dramatically, which had Felix pitching in, “Ah, no worries, I can always replace him as your model!” Which had Hyunjin raising his hands in defense and attempting to sputter out an argument. “I may have to take you up on that offer, Jinnie doesn’t seem to love his noona anymore.” You jokingly pout, jutting out your bottom lip and looking away from your little brother with exaggerated movements.

“I see where Hyunjin gets his dramatic personality from,” Felix says, finally able to see the resemblance now that you and your little brother were standing side by side. Laughs erupted from around the three of you as the other members watched the exchange and saw both you and Hyunjin give Felix the same side eye.

“Oh yeah, I can see a resemblance, right down to their attractive looks too.” Han commented, immediately gaining a scowl from Hyunjin who very much disliked that his friends may think you were attractive, it was already apparent that Felix thought so.

Consequently, this cause Hyunjin to spend the rest of the evening corralling you away from his friends at every chance he got.

You obviously don't have to post this if you don't want to but age regressor feral:( (I am ALSO autistic and an age regressor.)

Simon is probably such a good caregiver. Carries feral around however they ask, piggyback, bridal, on his hip. They ask, it's happening. Probably has cooked with feral on his hip more than once, them babbling his ear off as he nods and hums along.

Loves feral with all his heart and wants them happy, and stops at nothing to show it. And if that means he has to buy all of the original Barbie, Monster High, Bratz, Blues Clues, etc movies/shows/dolls. It's happening.

(in the og Barbie movies, I've noticed that while they reuse names and models for the girls, most won't receive the same name other than Barbie. Simon has also noticed after watching so many and is always confused on who's who even tho feral knows.)

This man spends a whole lot of money on TV subscriptions a year just to make sure Feral has a constant supply of cartoons and shows. Will probably sometimes turn on one in the morning if he has to leave for a few hours so feral doesn't wake up to a quiet house and can just slip right into whatever headspace they need until he gets home. (Sometimes regressors find comfort in horror flicks too, and while Simon doesn't understand how, he indulges nonetheless)

Lets feral call him whatever nickname or title they find necessary (or funny), he finds it endearing and unbelievably cute. There's no way he'd ask them to stop.

Helps them do their hair in the morning. It's just too much for feral to deal with in the morning so he sits them on a comfy chair in front of a mirror and listens to them talk as he does their hair. (Has spent SOOOO much time on YouTube and Google researching hair types and styles, he's basically a professional at this point.)

Tea parties in the sun porch<3

Sits with feral on the couch going through Amazon or Etsy to pick stuff out for them for when they regress. Nothing gets set to their house, Simon has a PO box or something set up, so sometimes feral has to wait a bit longer to get things. And sometimes has to wait until their birthday, holiday, or a special occasion to get the item. It's torture to wait 😔 but then probably forgets until they receive it.

I didn't even realize how much I've been talking 🫢 just been rambling 😭😭 I hope that's okay! Also, if not taken could I please be 🐧 anon, either way thank you so much for dealing with my long rambling 🫶🫶

Alright, imma be the one to say it.

I would be very surprised if they burn Buck’s loft.

It’s not just that I don’t want it to happen (seriously y’all, the obsession with making Buck homeless even before there was an actual hint of possibility 😭) but it’s already been done before.

On Lonestar.

Lonestar spoilers ahead:

Y’all are saying Buck’s loft is gonna be set on fire as some kind of revenge against Bobby but this literally happened on Lonestar.

TK and Carlos’s townhouse was burned down posthumously by an arsonist who was getting back at Owen and Gabriel. They lost everything.

Along the same line of thinking, it can’t be the firehouse because we lost the firehouse in Lonestar too.

I really don’t think Tim will be reusing a storyline like that.

Also, I don’t think there’s an intention to turn this nurse evil and I personally feel that it would be an injustice to do so.

season 19 was a let down 😭😭

i’m sure that over a year of hype doesn’t help my case here but i really was expecting something a little better 😭

i don’t mean to be too much of a critic in this post and sorry if i seem like i’m complaining but man 🧍‍♂️ full review here we go

sarges death was expected and the character arc that simmons got from it was pretty well done , he was cool — sarges death did just seem kind of rushed but that’s probably also time constraints , nobody seemed super affected by it tho and that kinda put me off ☹️ sure the reds were like Sad right after he died , and grif + simmons had the moment at his grave, but it’s literally not brought up again ? simmons just gets to be a leader kinda and tucker doesn’t get told he killed sarge, nobody else brings it up after the climax?? not even during the climax as they fight meta again ?

^ although sarges final moments were done very nicely and the va’s had a ton of emotion ❤️

along with that, wash’s acting was amazing as always

grif was characterized really weirdly throughout the first half of the season - i’m guessing they tried to make him the “straight man” of the group but it kinda fell flat because he just seemed irrationally angry every single time he spoke 😭 he kinda evened out as it went on tho so that’s better than nothing

Simmons was very kind this season that was interesting and cool He didn’t have a care in the world

animation was wonky at times but it was there - fight scenes weren’t monty oum style of crazy but they were creative with them and ill give them that! good callbacks during the fight

character callbacks were cool! i’m glad we got a little bit of kai (no reunion with grif tho so that sucks), dylan was there but she was kinda characterized weird, grey there, agent one (???) for some reason, 479er!!!!! she was well done and she fit really well into the plot!, no checkup on chorus life which was kinda sad (no lieutenants boohoohoo) some of the callbacks felt out of place tho

i don’t like how they handled tex cause even though it was cool she was back , i feel like we’ve done this dance a thousand times

also carolina quite literally came out of nowhere ?? how did she just ? drop from the sky what ??? LOL

absolutely no donut at all ? there was like one mention of him that i can remember ? lopez is just forgotten about back at the bases ??? i don’t know if the donut thing was something behind the scenes but Uhh

music wasnt up to par - they just reused old songs basically , the weird song that played during the “Memories” sequence wasn’t good

i’m not the hugest fan of the ais in general so i don’t think about them too much but i feel like sigma wasn’t characterized in the same way he was in the freelancer seasons — in pfl he kind of subtly manipulated maine into becoming meta etc etc but for tucker , he basically just like😭 tortured him WHICH IS PROBABLY CAUSE LIKE tucker knows This guy is evil Ahhhh!!! but still that was a little weird

no grimmons sad day for the rvb fandom - some scenes could be read as grimmons, like grif basically inviting simmons to go with him , i’m confused on why simmons stayed because simmons himself literally said One last mission ? so idk what he’s doing bro idk if he’s staying in blood gulch or what — grif just straight up leaves and like ? are they gonna see eachother again orrr ? what’s happening

the ending felt rushed and kinda weird - just vibes , i think i’m biased because i now realize that not a lot can beat the s13 ending , but even so , grif just kinda leaves and that’s the end 😭

i feel like we didn’t get a whole lot of conclusions for all the characters even tho that’s what was promised

overall i’m probably giving this a solid 5-6/10 , the season was overall very hit or miss in some aspects and scenes

Jungkook pitched the idea to you the day before your ultrasound.

You both already came into the agreement that you didn’t want to announce your baby’s gender until you give birth because you didn’t want to overwhelm yourselves with countless messages and inputs. With that said, you immediately agreed to the proposition that you only want to do a gender reveal party for only the people closest to the both of you.

The moment you pitched your idea though, Jungkook cannot contain himself from nodding eagerly.

You both want to know the gender ahead of everyone yet you didn’t want to do it in a sterile room with other people present, not wanting to spoil the moment with onlookers along with the precaution that the results get leaked.

Your husband can’t be any more excited when he takes it a step further and sits the both of you down as soon as you get home, obliging you to participate in a presentation that’s only been done numerous times — you convincing him for the both of you to get a baby blue floor couch and the third-biggest variation of a king-sized bed, him convincing you to come home, and this time, it’s for you to place your own bets; each presentation atleast a year apart.

“I hope you’re ready,” you grunt as you stand up next to the TV, reusing the same template years ago of which you can’t replace.

Why Mrs. Jeon thinks it’s a boy

“No background music?” Jungkook has a faux frown on his face as he points out, looking at the cover slide of your slideshow. “Because mine does. I even mixed it and everything.”

“No talking,” you tut, taking in an exhale as you dramatically switch over to the next slide.

Jungkook thinks his eyes are playing tricks on him because it’s a blank slide. It’s a pure white slide and you seem to be even so proud of the lack of contents in the page, just two clicks away from the presentation completely ending because the last slide was just a random picture of you balancing Miso on your bump.

“I can’t give a specific reason, honestly,” you chuckle, placating your husband’s curiosity. You shrug effectively, plopping back down to the couch because for the whole two hours that Jungkook allotted for the both of you to make your slides, you only caught up with your show in another tab when he wasn’t looking. “I don’t know! Call it a mother’s instinct.”

“No wonder you finished so quickly,” he mutters, figuring out quickly that he was competitive for no reason at all. He gets on his feet in an instant, fingers practically itching just to click on his file and grab the remote. “Anyway, look at the work of a pro.”

Why Mr. Jeon thinks it’s a girl

(I’m 60% sure I’ll be a girl dad)

Your eyes widen at the extravagant layout Jungkook came up with, seeing layers upon layers of your baby pictures and his in the background. He even put the citations at the cover slide because he’s just that eager to prove a point, his first and foremost source being himself.

“How many slides?” you snicker, unable to squint to see the bottom corner.

“Twenty-seven,” he giggles, the look on your face immediately translating that you’re going to be up for longer than necessary. Jungkook takes his sweet time letting the background music play, even conducting the recorded audio at one point until it stops and he moves on to the next slide.

I dreamt about it

“We’ve been over this too many times, Kook,” you throw your head back in amusement, rubbing your eyes. “You’ve had like seven different conception dreams already! That’s six more than mine.”

“I know, exactly! Isn’t that crazy?” he supplements, the grin on his face rubbing off on you. He perks up at the reminder of his several taemong, clapping his hands together. “Okay, back to the presentation. I memorized my script…”

You can’t put into words the importance of great timing in your lives.

Whether it was fate itself or impeccable timing, you don’t mind the schematics of it all at this point — what matters is that every day, you find Jungkook belonging to you as a perfect match more and more.

It’s perfect when you pitch your idea to your doctor and request that she types in the gender at the designated slide that of course your husband stayed up all night designing, the sweet woman even asking what transition effect you’d want her to put on the word.

It’s perfect when for some reason, Jungkook can’t stop giggling as the both of you go back to the car and you’re holding onto the laptop like your life depended on it, going so far as to put it with you underneath the seatbelt.

It’s never been more perfect when the two of you set up in the living room, the presentation being the brightest thing in the dim warm light of the space.

“Ready?” you question Jungkook who’s just as excited as you are, nodding eagerly while he eyes the remote in your hands.

“I’m ready with you,” he affirms, clutching your hand. He sees Miso sit herself down between the two of you, making him chuckle as he relents and puts a hand on her paw. “You too, I guess.”

You hold your breath while Jungkook shallowly exhales, the both of you screwing your eyes shut as you blindly feel for the button to go to the next slide.

It’s a far too cheesy song that plays in the background that Jungkook picked out even before your doctor obliged your request to type in the reveal. It’s the confetti that blows out from all angles in the slide. It’s the glaring color that shines right above you and Jungkook in a locket.

It’s a girl.

I need you all to convince me they would NOT do this.

I had a horrible thought- what if they write Patrick out after the first two episodes? He gets out of prison (so there’s resolution) and he leaves to live in France 😭 I don’t think he’d want to leave Eliza, but what if his English license is suspended or something? I’m only worried they’ll do this because they want it to be clear there is not going to be a romance.

One reason they wouldn’t do this is because it’s just like Duke leaving, but they’ve reused the same plots for tension before (Duke has left like twice lol) so I wouldn’t write it off entirely. Ugh tell me this won’t happen 😭 even if they don’t become canon, I still want the show to be about them and their antics.

My unedited thoughts on volume 2!

“The Cat’s Eye of Insight”

* I really have such little patience for the obnoxious stuck-up child trope. Even if the kid is legitimately troubled. Sorry, Hajime.

* “Whenever I was near Richard, I kept finding that all the things I’d locked away deep in my heart just started spilling out” (32). Uh huh. 🥲

* “And why is my brain so much more talented at coming up with awful scenarios than good ones?” (39). Great question, I’d love to ask my brain the same thing.

* Lots of hints that we’ll be seeing more sides of Richard in this volume!

“The Fighting Garnet”

* Why is Richard turning into Sherlock Holmes right now?

* NOT Richard implying that he and Seigi are soul mates! 😭

* Really interesting exploration of how in some peoples’ eyes, the more beauty a person has, the less human they are—the less they must be treated with respect. Similar to how people feel they have more rights to celebrities’ personal lives and bodies because they are in the public eye. It seems like Richard had experienced a lot of violation in his life. In this regard, Seigi is dehumanizing Richard all the time. But I think this story finally has him realizing why his words bother Richard so much.

* “Now, maybe this was just me making assumptions here, but I can’t imagine there were a lot of women in the world, let alone in Japan, who would particularly enjoy being called warriors. I think being called ‘lady’ or ‘princess’ would probably land with more women in general” (95). Seigi, my sweet summer child. You have no idea. What is this, Ouran Highschool Host Club? I think most women today would love to be called a warrior—women fight every fucking day to exist as we are. As Richard said, to live is to fight!

“The Dance of the Emeralds”

* Richard, you are way too lenient when it comes to sweets…

* I’m starting to think that most people aren’t actually that effected by Richard’s beauty—it’s just Seigi. He keeps mentioning how beautiful Richard is even when he’s frowning or doing mundane things. I think that’s just Seigi’s attraction to him as a person.

* “She had the vibe of someone who’d just come running from a construction site” (131). Literally what??

* I really glad that Seigi genuinely appreciates who Tanimoto is as a person, with all her nuances and cute habits.

* Crazy how Seigi says the wildest romantic shit to Richard and is like “huh, what?” But when he says the same kind of thing to Tanimoto he’s gets all flustered and nervous.

* Not Tanimoto thinking Seigi has feelings for literally everyone besides her. 😭

* This story has taken such a turn omg. We’re into drug smuggling and money laundering now?! This really is turning into Sherlock Holmes.

* I don’t even know what to say about Richard eating the caramels out of Seigi’s hand. That’s just normal fodder for them by now.

* Richard fishing for compliments now?? “‘You look perfect like you always do. The most beautiful man in the whole world is standing in front of me.’ The woman behind the counter suddenly started coughing really loud. Maybe she had a cold” (180). And then Richard hurried away into the theater. Like??? You can’t act so shameless and then get embarrassed, Richard!

* Ahh, Richard, you’re too self-sacrificing. Way to end on a sad note.

“The Opal of Reunion”

* “‘The universe has a way of bringing people together when it’s meant to be’” (196). Richard, you sentimental shit. (And NOT Seigi reusing that line on Hase omg.)

* Wow, Richard was right on to suspect Seigi had a crush on his karate classmate. I mean, we were all thinking it. But Seigi! You can actually admit to yourself that you had a crush on your male classmate?! Biggest character growth! Not that he knows how to explain it to Richard, though.

* 🥹🥹🥹 Richard waiting for Seigi because he knew Seigi would be disappointed in Hase after their confrontation. 🥹🥹🥹 Richard playing Finnish death metal so Seigi can cry in peace. 🥹🥹🥹 Richard taking Seigi out for sushi at a fancy hotel. 🥹🥹🥹 Richard telling Seigi to live in the moment instead of ruminating on depressing times in the past. 🥹🥹🥹 Richard letting them split the check so Seigi doesn’t have to be reminded of his relationship with Hase. I’m so happy that both Seigi and us readers get to see this side of Richard—“comfort mode.”

* “…in the end, the only thing I have power over is what I decide to do. Otherwise, I’m just going to cause myself a lot of unnecessary pain” (215). Yeahhh I felt this hard. I struggle with this a lot.

“The Serendipity of Euclase”

* Awww Richard, don’t be ashamed of your pudding fail. Please keep blushing though, that’s fucking adorable.

* His little swaying with joy. 🥹

* SEIGI you cannot in one moment say “we’re just boss and employee,” and in the next moment say “‘we were kinda like a cute married couple, huh?’”! Stop playing with Richard’s emotions!!

I feel sooo conflicted over Cosmos.

I love that it helped me understand in the manga what Guardian Cosmos meant when she said that she saw a Starseed like Usagi's before (and then there was like a weird profile of Queen Serenity) and when Galaxia just kinda died??

But also why were the transformations the same 😭 and why didn't the Quartet get transformations 😭😭 and also why were all the group attacks just floating pngs 😭😭😭

WAIT I FORGOT ONE THING THO. Usagis transformation in the second movie with all the references to her old transformations killed me 😭

The reboot is generally pretty good, but I hate how much it panders to the 90s anime. I feel like reusing old transformations is just a way for Toei to justify their laziness and lack of commitment to Sailor Moon. Like seriously, every single Precure gets gorgeous, amazing transformation sequences every fucking year but Toei can't spring for unique Senshi transformations?

Every day I wish a studio other than Toei made the reboot. Or that Toei gave the same amount of effort to the reboot as they do for each new Precure season. It just goes to show how little Toei cares for properties that used to be huge cash cows for them but have been replaced in recent years.

Did you watch the new tadc episode?

TADC SPOILERS BELOW!!

YESSS I DID AND I LOVE IT!! I really like how much more this episode focused on the characters, and I love the new characters that were introduced! Especially Gummigoo my beloved ough...

I love how Ragatha does finger guns a lot kwkdsjrjr, and Jax ends up being a LOT more violent and aggressive in this episode, which kinda surprised me, and now my love/hate for him has turned into more hate LOL. Like I knew Gooseworx said he was gonna get worse but DAMN‼️ Also just like the previous episode, we didn't see much of Zooble in this one either. I really hope they get more screen time in the future!

My favorite scene was absolutely the scene where Gummigoo ends up under the map in that room with all the NPC models and realizes he's an NPC himself. It genuinely gave me goosebumps watching that. The animation and music in that scene was fucking spot on. The conversation he and Pomni have afterward really hit me, and I loved seeing this side of Pomni's personality.

Aaand then Caine had to make Gummigoo go POOF after all that character development AAAA 😭 I REALLY hope Gummigoo can reappear in a future episode but I highly doubt that'll happen. And even if he does, I'm sure it won't be the same Gummigoo we knew, with Caine reusing assets and all.

And lastly, Kafumo's funeral ough... That one hit me hard, too. Specifically how Pomni felt about it. Because at the beginning of the episode, she has that dream of her getting abstracted, and everyone leaves her behind, showing she's obviously anxious about surviving in the circus, and that the others don't care for her. BUT during that funeral scene we see her visualize her friends saving her, and that's when she realizes that she really does have friends that care for her and will be for her in this world, and I think that message is so strong and they showed that off perfectly.

Another thing about that vision, thought, whatever Pomni had, I'm like 99% sure that's Ragatha, Gangle, and Zooble's hands catching her. And that makes me think, what if this same scene shows up later in the story? Because those are 3 very specific people. I'm kinda like predicting here that something bad is gonna happen to Kinger, and Jax is gonna do something REAL shitty to the gang because at this point, I'm expecting it, even if I did notice that he does care a little and he's bottling up his emotions.

Episode 26 - A Hairy Mystery

TW: Discussions of in-universe false allegations of S.A. towards animals and/or children. Discussions of addictions, and what might be actual S.A.

This episode is a doozy, both canonically and due to the analysis I conduct.

From the first seconds of the episode, we can note one very important detail:

The episode's narration is not censored by Kerubim, as is usually the case, but filtered through Joris's very limited understanding of sexuality and other adult things, and metaphors alluding to those.

Which results in this being a very dark episode in every single way possible and kinda batshit insane, when thought about for too much.

This is the same house as the one we'll see in Episode 50, Deadly Charm.

During Episode 50's time, the two of them share this house. This may suggest that the two episodes happen relatively closely, timeline-wise. It would make sense, considering the fact that in both of these episodes, Lou investigates crimes.

This investigation sounds like how long a war that would result in the birth of a very cool huppermage would last.

This episode will be hellish to translate... First of all: all the little text on these images? Just gibberish. Also, it's the same gibberish copypasted in all the newspapers.

However, we have some juicy stuff in the big text blocks: real text, with more context for the ep, besides what we see through Joris's ~imagination~

Big text on the top:

Firstly: the newspaper name says "BOTA" instead of "BONTA"... Not even a spare letter "N" for the starving public?

The text on the left is, for some reason, upside down, and the letter N is in my transcription only because it makes more sense than W. What is says is: "EST U(N)E FIOTTE"

Translation: Someone (a female judging by "une") is (I am about to quote google here) "a homophobic(?) swear word for men(??)."

I'm sure someone in Ankama was very giddy to have snuck this in, but god, I wish I knew what this really means.

Don't worry. There are worse hidden texts in this episode... Like this next one.

I guess that what Kerubim is accused of is. Uh. not... literally eating a cat. It's something... different. Or eating the cat and also doing other things to the cat. hm.

I guess for Ecaflips, doing this to a cat, is not just an animal thing but also uh. a kid thing.

...Idk if I ever wanted to know this much about the World of Twelve. Man.

To pause from the insanity of this episode so far, I want to point out, that, both here, and in the episode 50, which we had established, takes place close to this one, Kerubim and Lou are very close to marriage/consider each other fiancés (in episode 50, she is referred to as his wife, despite them not being married).

So... I am assuming both of them take place before Ecaflip City! We're making some real discoveries here, folks.

This episode was funnier before I knew this was Kerubim's twitter callout arc. Now it's just sad.·😭

Also, in a better circumstance, I would comment on how cute it is that Kerubim says he likes cats (or babies, considering that for ecaflips... yeah. man. this episode is making me say insane things.) that much.

No wonder he's going fucking insane.

The first one is a reused text asset from the first episodes that says "MAISON DE NERUBIM CREPIN". What she is writing seems to be "RMCP"

The second one is, uh. Yeah.

Judging by the paintings, I suppose this episode takes place after Vax's Art (ep10) and Bashi the Shark (ep7).

I know these are just reused assets, but also — it's Ankama's own fault that they gave me this to do theorizing with.

Jesus fucking Christ, here we go. Twenty pages of analysis incoming:

He had a very interesting evening. Getting drunk (as usual), gambling (as usual)...

But having a woman "ride" him, while being very, very drunk, too — is this also, in fact, usual? Hopefully, it was a literal riding, horse-style.

Judging from Lou's phrasing and reaction, as well as this episode's whole thing so far, it was probably not.

Which is... not good at all. Yeah.

We'll never truly know, with Joris's unreliable narration in this episode. But I am sad to report, that I don't think it would be out of character for Kerubim to... have these things happen to him, and be okay with that.

And it's in-character for Lou to view Kerubim's habits of getting drunk and gambling everything away, while having ambiguously-nonconsensual (on his side) relations with women, as punishable evils on his part, good old "shit boyfriend" behaviours.

Instead of, y'know, self-destruction.

...Okay, I think I am ready to present something to you, so here's a refresher for my earlier liveblogs, in the form of the six tenets of theorizing about their final break up we established:

She left sad, and unlike many other times, without any anger for Kerubim.

She left Luis with him to watch over him.

She also left Luis because he couldn’t go with her, but that could mean many things.

She left after Ecaflip City, obviously, and at that time, their relationship seemed the healthiest. (Well, as healthy as it could be.)

Unlike all the other times, Kerubim didn’t go searching for her. It seems this separation was final in a way no other was, and there had to be a reason that he didn’t go and try to make up. An unsolvable issue.

Both Luis and Kerubim blame Kerubim, and the first one uses this to make the second one angry.

I think it's time to make to finally reveal my Divorce Theory:

I think Lou left Kerubim after regaining her memories, and realizing that they're just bad for each other.

She often manipulated him using his insecurities and fears of abandonment, which are the result of his childhood traumas. She hit him, and disregarded, or at times exacerbated, his various mental health issues.

While he has cheated on her many times while being completely sober, without any regard for her personhood and feelings. He's gambled away her memories.

Yes, they loved each other, but they were horrible together.

And I think it's a very sad realization to have about someone you've been in love with for your whole life:

That all you've ever managed to do is hurt each other, and make things worse.

...Now that I'm done with sad divorce theories, let's finish up this episode.

The newspaper that shows miss Kitty behind bars, has all the same text as the newspaper where Kerubim is behind bars, so I won't include it, but this?

This has a plot twist:

"EM ILIE EST U(N)E FIOTTE"

...Emilie, if you're out there: years ago, in Dofus: Aux Trésors de Kerubim, someone called you a bad word.

And I hope it was a joke and not some office drama. I really do hope so.

...My reaction to this whole fucking episode, Keke.

My exact reaction to all of it.

This is the face of a parent who knows that he will have to assess the damage. A second plane has hit the fucking pentagon level damage.

The "will he be asking me what "riding" means now?" "will he be asking me why "you ate a kitten" allegations got me into prison?" level damage.

Actual nightmare.

RwR would have been soooo cool!...if Thomas didn't just recycle Roman 😭 in my opinion the appeal of Roman and what makes him special is who/what he is, being that a prince and also an ever powerful being of pure creativity. You take that away and it's just...well, Thomas. Which with all due respect would be fine, it's just I don't like that for some reason...he decided to make his character Roman. Like, he could have literally just actually used Roman the Prince yknow? Like nobility is an option in DnD. Roman was The Prince Character before he was Roman and before he was creativity. It's just...man idk at that point you can't really separate that from him and say it's the same character. If Thomas was just like "yeah so this character isn't actually Roman, but since this is a fantasy setting I wanted to pay homage to the prince so I just decided to reuse the name!" I would accept that! That would literally be fine! If RwR!Roman was a REFERENCE to Tss!Roman, that would be so valid! That would be fine!

Also, as someone who loves DnD, I actually really like the RwR story so far! Like if Thomas just wanted to go stupid go crazy and do a DnD series, it would have been fine actually. RwR has a great story so far, however because he tacked Roman onto it just...ugh, it kills it. His character supposedly being Roman is like a wet blanket for the whole series, which is a bit of a problem considering it's named after him. Not to mention it's kinda lazy. And this is coming from someone who enjoys Thomas's character! My only gripe, is that it's supposed to be Tss!Roman! Like wtf????

But yeah, that's my gripe. Also OP remember to take breaks from the Crit if you need too! Sometimes it can be a bit much 💖

Tanjiro never claimed to be afraid of thunderstorms, they were just a little… off-putting to him. The rain was soothing to hear, but reminds him of the time he spent the night in the rain after being locked out of the mansion. The thunder was nice at a low rumbling, but the louder claps never failed to make him jump. The lightning bolts were quite beautiful, but remind him of when Zenitsu loses control when he dreams.

No, he wasn’t afraid! He was just-

A small squeak emitted from the water breathing user as a particularly loud rumble filled the air.

Well, maybe a little bit…

Growing up with a little brother, Rengoku was used to random things happening to him. He was used to waking up to random yelling, walking in on random bursts of laughter and crying. He was used to all of it. So, when he was resting on the couch, he wasn’t surprised to be met with a sudden weight on his torso.

The young slayer knew that he needed to be with someone in the moment, so he stumbled about the mansion to find someone. He finally settled upon the living room as soon as he had seen the flame hashira.

Tanjiro approached the “sleeping” male carefully, as if he was waiting for him to wake up and grant him permission to approach. Unfortunately, Rengoku stayed in the same place, enjoying the sounds of the serene storm outside.

A sudden flash of lightning elicited a yelp from the boy, causing him to scurry to his elder’s side. Instinctively, Tanjiro gently climbed up on the flame hashira’s chest, pulling the male’s arms down to hold him protectively.

Rengoku chuckled, securely tightening his hold around the frightened boy. “Oh? What’s this?” He teased, “If you wanted a hug, Young Kamado, you could have just asked.”

Before he could stutter out an embarrassed response, a deafening crackle erupted in the room. Tanjiro whined, nuzzling in deeper to the embrace. This was Rengoku’s cue to sit up. He did so, holding the boy even tighter than before. “I understand now. Not to worry, I will always be here to hold you in your times of need.”

“Thanks, Mister Rengoku.” The water breathing user slurred, “Hmmm, you’re comfy.”

“Oh yeah? Maybe you’re just feeling a little scared.”

“M’not scared.” Tanjiro argued, a yawn following. “Just don’ like storms.”

“Ahh, you remind me of sweet, little Senjuro.” The flame hashira said with a fond smile, “He’s scared of storms too.”

“I told you, m’not scared.” The young slayer rebutted , “I’m gonna take a nap here…”

The blonde hashira quirked a brow, a tinge of malice sparkling in his eyes. “Oh no you don’t.” He chimed, “Senjuro always had to be calmed down by me, but swore he wasn’t scared. Maybe I should try to calm you down!” He finished his little speech with sneaky wiggling of his fingers.

“GYAH! M-Mister Rehehengohohokuhuhu!” The boy squealed, gently fighting the embrace he was in.

“Yes, Young Kamado?” The flame hashira chirped, “You know, liars always get paid their due. It seems that I have the honor of helping you cleanse your conscious!” He used one arm to keep the boy in a secure hold, and snaked the other one down to prod at the boy’s sides.

“Eh?! Mihihister rehehengohohokuku.” Tanjiro’s head fell backwards against the older slayer’s chest. “Ihihihi tohohohold yohohohou! Ihihim nohohohot sca-YAHahaha! Wahahahait!”

“Wait? But isn’t the thunderstorm so scary and distracting? Why shouldn’t I try to help you feel better?!” Rengoku beamed, squeezing Tanjiro’ stomach through his uniform.

The boy lost all of his prior comprehensible thoughts, simply sinking into the ticklish feeling. “Nohohoho! Nohohohot thehehere!”

“Not there?” The older male teased, “Where else should I tickle you then?”

Tanjiro’s face flushed as he shook his head, hoping that his senior would understand his laughter filled message. Unfortunately, he did not.

Instead, the scary sounds of the thunderstorm were drowned out by the melodious sounds of Tanjiro’s laughter.
