When my uncle died, I inherited a dog, Kaycee. The plan was that she would stay with my mom until after I moved in July, but last night, she got my mom's little dog by the neck and would not let go. She also keeps stepping on Tiny Dog, who is almost 14 and delicate. So my mom doesn't want to keep Kaycee with her dog for the next 4 months, and I can't take her now, plus now I'm really worried about Grace. I would never forgive myself if something happened to Grace. So, my mom's friend is going to take her. She has a big dog, and they can play, which is really what Kaycee wants, but Tiny Dog can't play like that anymore.

I'm kinda crushed. I feel like when I was in my PhD, I was like, I'm going to finish and get a job and finally get a dog of my own, but it's been four years and it has just felt like that goalpost keeps moving. And now I finally was like, okay, cool, I'm getting a dog, and it's a dog I really, really love. But now that's not happening. It's the best option. Kaycee will be happier. Tiny Dog and Grace will both be safe. And with all the uncertainty at the university, am I really sure I could afford a vet emergency 6/7 months from now??

Just a bit sad about it all right now, though.

I read Dracula before, and it never occurred to me that the dogs could sense the vampire. This should be important information. Everyone in vampire movies should get dogs. The vampire slayer should have a canine companion. Why is this not the case? They are vampire detectors and very good boys.

Hi anon, thank you!! : ) I'll list what I have, please forgive that I'm not going to source out links for each one of them but I'll list the brand and toy name for you. I like to rotate around so they don't get bored.

For Kong: Obviously the "classic" styles. I also have a Mike "Genius" in small and large, one or two Goodie Ribbons in some size or other and both classic and extreme, a Wobbler, a Dental in extreme, and a Spin It. Although it's not an ""enrichment"" toy, one of Ashen's top three favorite toys is their classic ball with rope toy, lmao. West Paw: We looove this brand. I have two Toppls for each dog (small and large), a Qwizl in each size, a Tux in each, a large Rumbl, a Tizzi in each size. They make plugs for the toppls that you can get on Etsy (I personally love Sniffingtons! They also make Kong plugs).

Outward Hound/Petstages: They have some really awesome stuff! We have two Orka tires, two or uhhh three?? of the Carrot Stuffers.

JW Pet: I have like four Hol-ee Rollers of various sizes and a Playbites Caterpillar.

Planet Dog: I have an Orbee-Tuff carrot someplace. I cannot find it and it makes me sad lmao. I also have a Guru (this one is neat but the texture likes to magnet cat hair so. That's your warning lol)

Trixie: The snack snake!! We were given one as a gift. It's awesome.

BarkShop: I have the celery stuffer and a hot dog toy that I got on clearance two summers ago. I'm dying for a second hot dog because I love it but I think I'm gonna have to go to eBay or like a swap group to find one lmfao.

Making this list made me realize I have way too many toys lol, I'm certain I'm missing something. I buy a lot of stuff as I find it on clearance or on really good deal on amazon/chewy/etc.
