You mentioned Klofange is definitely the last Atlantean so I'm curious! Is Dyris definitely the last mermaid? (Not counting the awesome and lovely Melusine of course!)

Yeah. I think that the Atlanteans kept the Merfolk to pretty manageable levels in spite of it all. And when Atlantis fell they put all the energy they could into slaying as many as they could. Which led to Dyris being the last Mermaid that Klofange is hunting down.

Melusine is something different from a mermaid. She's closer to a lamia, snake tail rather than fish. The only thing they really have in common is human top half and scaley bottom half.

🧜🏻‍♀️ Dyris from “Xiaolin Showdown” is an interesting character. She exemplifies the concept of mermaids being evil in folklore. “The Screams of the Siren” is one of the few episodes of “Xiaolin Showdown” I remember when I used to watch the show on Cartoon Network several years ago. Plus, the episode plays on the theme of “don’t judge a book by its cover” in which Klofange, who is initially perceived as the villain, isn’t really evil. In a shocking twist, it’s Dyris, the beautiful mermaid, who’s the real villain. When in water, she’s in her mermaid form. Unfortunately, when on dry land, she turns to her true monstrous lizard-like sea monster form.

Victim: Le Mime ((Sad thing is, part of me feels like no one's going to care all that much. Not even Omi.)) Who found the body: Master Monk Guan ((Eh, he could have during one of his travels.)) Lead Detective: Clay ((Not sure why he decided to take up this role for this case, but alright cowboy.)) Last person victim was seen with: Katnappe ((The fuck were those two doing together?) First suspect: Cyclops ((Makes sense, he could have killed him without knowing any better.)) First suspect’s alibi: Wuya ((This also makes sense. He does listen to Wuya.)) Second suspect: Dyris ((Yeah, I can see her drowning him to death out of annoyance.)) Second suspect’s alibi: Grand Master Dashi ((Only way this would make sense is if you two were fighting each other.)) Third suspect: Master Fung ((This is one of the few ones I find hard to believe)) Third suspect’s alibi: Jermaine ((This make sense. He is Omi's homie after all. Fung could have been training him during the time of the murder.)) Person ultimately charged with the crime: Grand Master Dashi ((Well on the plus side, he'll finally be away from his thirsty fans.)) My dear @medeaminte asked me to do Dyris, but I couldn't find a good pic of her which would actually look bad before and good after "renovation", so I thought Im gonna do what I said I will do with Kimiko - just change it a little bit and add some ✨makeup ✨ 😀 That was my first time of doing that, and let me tell you, I felt like 💅artist💅 xD Maybe it's a little bit too much, too shiny and stuff, but let's assume she's going (or swimming 👀🧜‍♀️💦🌊🤔) on a date with...
