Those ding-dongs played an Evening Out With Your Girlfriend song? Seriously?! (Definitely not seriously.)

It's extra hilarious because the band openly dislike that album. Personally, I agree with them. It's laughably bad. (In an endearing way. Like a terrible yearbook photo.) 

But those dudes went back and revisited that unpleasantness. And if it wasn't just for themselves as a way to laugh at their own youthful goofiness and appreciate their own progress, then they did it for the small subsect of their audience that genuinely like it. And for those few, it must have felt like a gift. A very, very dopey gift.

Can't hate though. If it was meant as a nod to those who do sincerely like Evening Out With Your Girlfriend, it's honestly a sweeter and more thoughtful gesture than anything the actual men in my actual life have ever done for me...

...I'm gonna try not to dwell on that.
