Tumblr swiffers sign and share this petition to allow water in stadiums
People are supposed to have the time of their life at concerts and not worry about heat stroke or death. What happened was really unfortunate but we can use our voices to make sure something like this never happens again
If we can fight for cruel summer single or atw 10 or evermore lpss, we can fight for this too. Please don't let this post have 1 reblog and 3 likes

this weekend of shows has been hellish at best to read about online, but it must be a nightmare to live it. if there’s one thing i believe in though, it’s the power of swifties to circle up and uplift other fans.
seeing everyone donating to fans whose shows got moved, the anon love letters, the petitions to force t4f and the stadium to right their wrongs….. it just fills my heart with so much love. as a fandom, we have our ups and downs but the outpouring of support for fans who have been put at a disadvantage due to companies’ greed just makes me remember how much of a family we really are. i love you guys 💘

taylorswift: Bringing a tour to Brazil has been something I’ve dreamt of for years, and those fans blew my expectations away. We’ve officially wrapped up the 2023 Eras Tour and we got to end the year with 6 shows in Rio and São Paulo, with the most magical crowds. I’m so grateful to my touring family, my band, crew and dancers for everything they put into this show all year. To the people who came to see it, you are what made those stadiums feel so alive and electric and unforgettable for me. Really just feeling so proud and moved by what I got to be a part of. See you in 2024 🎤 🎸 🎹 ✨

Can we all just agree now before the show starts not to pass judgement or police Taylor on how she deals with yesterday’s tragedy moving forward? If she’s more subdued on stage tonight that’s OK. If she’s smiley and laughing, amazing. Let’s not weaponise her emotions. She said last night in her statement that she wouldn’t be able to talk about it, and that’s totally valid but if she does end up saying something, be gentle. Don’t complain about surprise song choices or speeches. Understand that as much as we all know it wasn’t her or her team’s fault, this is their worst nightmare and they will feel grief/blame/responsibility Just let her and them do their job however they needs to. Same goes for Night 3. As for after the shows? Whether she needs to lay low for a while or go about life as normal in public, don’t punish her. What happened to Ana was horrifying. But we don’t need to put Taylor or anyone else, except those directly involved with the stadium (who have already made safety changes) on trial for it, OK? OK.
PS: For fans going tonight, stay safe, stay hydrated and let your feelings be what they are. You have nothing to apologise for or feel guilty about. Love you xxx

The more I see from yesterday’s show, the more it really shows how concerned Taylor was the whole time, directing her team to give out water and at times throwing bottles out herself. All the while someone had already fallen victim to the dangerous conditions, and seeing the footage, it’s honestly a miracle only one person died.
I hope health and safety are being taken seriously and conditions are improved for future shows so everyone can have a safe and special experience.
Stay safe, Brazilian fans, and rest easy sweet Ana 🕊️

This is the point where I'm actually truly disappointed at Taylor.
Posting a small note on her stories without even mentioning Ana Clara's name is a choice, quite possibly one made not only by her. It hurts to see the distance that is being put between Taylor and Ana, but I can understand that this is a PR decision that goes beyond just her (even if, being honest, I think it's very wrong and cold and, at this point in Taylor's career, unnecessary).
Like everyone, I got emotional watching her singing Bigger Than The Whole Sky, seeing how emotional she was herself, seeing that the whole crowd was meaning every word while singing it with her.
But at the same time, we were first hearing the news that Ana's family isn't getting any support, not from the venue, not from the company and not from Taylor's team and this made the entire thing hollow. Because how can you spend you whole career preaching about the collaboration between your fans and still turn the blind eye when something like this happens?
Even if she still wanted to keep distance from that tragedy, something that I'd never think she should do, but that I could try to understand and see the reasons, she has all the means in the world to help. At this point, her word is worth a lot, even more when it comes to a fan in her concert. If she didn't want her name being associated further with this, an anonymous donation would be more than enough. Actually, it was the bare minimum we all not only hoped, but thought was already happening.
Distancing herself from this goes directly against everything Taylor went for her whole career and it's really really painful to see that the care she has for us has limits she could surpass with very little effort.
We are joining to help Ana's family, organizing a fundraiser to pay for everything they need, because once more, the fans have to do what people that SHOULD be doing things aren't moving. And we are still trying to get Taylor's team attention because if they can listen to the fans asking to turn off the pyrotechnics for Bad Blood, they can listen when we ask help to allow a family to have at least a bit of dignity when grieving a tragedy like this.
I hope Taylor can change my mind and we have some help from her team, better late than never, but until then,
Help Ana's family donating to this PayPal:
(this is the only official mean to donate, beware scammers)
And by the way, in no way I mean this as a way to blame Taylor Swift or her team when the true people to blame is T4F. I want this company to rot and declare bankruptcy before the year ends for all they are making us go though from beginning to end of this experience. I just feel like seeing their inaction, Taylor should be doing something.

a fan died of cardiac arrest at the eras tour in brazil yesterday . the stadium did not allow fans to bring in water , and sold water inside the stadium for $20 per bottle . the air vents were also closed , meaning the inside of the stadium was at roughly 60 degrees celcius ( 140 degrees fahrenheit ) .
fans were very thirsty , and thousands of fans passed out because of heatstroke and dehydration . taylor asked security multiple times to distribute water to thirsty fans , and once even threw a water bottle into the crowd from on stage so that a fan could have water .
water is a basic necessity and shouldnt be denied ever . please , sign this petition to make it mandatory for there to be water in stadiums !!

ana benevides was supposed to have one of the best nights of her life, not the very last because some greedy people decided to ban the entrance of water and cover up the ventilation areas in the stadium.

if Ana was american the reaction from international swifties would NOT be like this, which sucks so much. y'all spent weeks harrassing her and ""trying to hold her accountable" for dating Matty Healy but when it's related to her absolute silence and lack of support for an actual death that happened during her CONCERT it's crickets

the thing about the standards some fans hold Taylor to is that they assume she is guilty until proven innocent, and that is quite simply fucked up.
