Some bigot somewhere in time: Were you born a man or a woman?
Bill, confused: I was born a baby
Ted, nodding: Same here

I need to watch bill and teds so I can talk like them bc if I’m going to develop a new way of talking it darn well is going to be a combination of nonsequiter sports metaphors, surfer dude lingo, and talking like bill and teds. Yk. For the gag

I love referring to things as "[X] and [X]'s Excellent Adventure."
This formula can be used for any character in any piece of media and still make sense.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure: E.T. Phone Home
The boys are having a radical week, because they're watching Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure: starring everyone's favorite leading man, Keanu Reeves. Expose your midriff and jump in a phone booth, we're not coming back until we've collected history's most palatable figures. Jokes include: Mullet underwear, hair evolutions, a soft-rock band name, and some challenging emails.

Can we talk about how heartbreaking it is that in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure when Ted’s dad threatens him with Oats Military Academy Ted recites the clearly rehearsed answer, but then in the car with Missy when he tells Bill it’s very clearly the first Bill has ever heard of it? This was a frequently present threat in Ted’s life and he hid it from even Bill and took that burden on himself

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) is near perfect. Great, silly fun. Lots of the references are dated, but it’ll always be a classic to me.
