On the evolution of High Elves
"High Elf" as a category no longer applies to the elves of Azeroth. Those who retain the monicker are actively raciating, becoming what we would call Highvale and Light Elves, respectively. These Bel'dorei and Al'dorei practise different arts, eat different foods, adorn their bodies and houses differently, and are beginning to physiologically look different, too. As such, I posit that the term "High Elf" has finally and officially been eclipsed by distinct elven identities and the high elven category has gone entirely dormant as of this writing.
~ Lorekeeper Kalith
No more are the High Elves: In their place stand the Sin'dorei, Blood Elves of the Horde; banished from their ranks are the Ren'dorei, Alliance Void Elves. The Highborn have since become the Night Elves: Alliance Kaldorei, including the Eldorei or Shen'dralar, those who hid in Eldre'Thalas; in Suramar, they have become Nightborne, Shal'dorei, allies with the Horde and cousins of the Nightfallen and Fal'dorei.
Those Kaldorei who were exiled took to the sun and Sunwell instead. The story is well-worn; it is the small, yet fruitful, remnants who maintain their ties with the Alliance that we discuss here:
Quel'dorei, "Children of Noble (lit. high) Birth," made their home in Quel'Thalas at Silvermoon, with their spiritual centre at Quel'Danas, the Sunwell. After the destruction and splintering of their nation, three major splits happened: One sought refuge in their Lodges, the other stayed amongst the Humans and other magi, particularly at Dalaran, and the last went to Draenor.
(Those who made their home in Quel'Lithien have succumbed and become Wretched. Discussion and analysis of the various Wretched and Withered is to come.)
Dalaran, Quel'Danil, and the Allerian Stronghold became centres of High Elven activity within the Alliance. Those of the Kirin Tor and Silver Covenant both distanced themselves from their Blood Elven kin and warmly welcomed back those of the Alliance Expedition. Danassian Elves practise light and arcane magic and are led by Vareesa Windrunner
These Elves have come together and, holding true to their roots when first exiled from the Druidic, moon-worshipping Kaldorei, forged a new name for themselves, one in direct opposition to the Sin'dorei Sunreavers . They have found community in the Human, Gnomish, and other magi of Dalaran and other Alliance cities. Within their ranks are numerous Half-Elven communities, whom they publicly call Shan’are "honoured ones" but privately label Vor'dorei "Children of the Broken."
Danillian Elves, on the other hand, have found community with the Wildhammer Dwarves most especially. In addition, some Draenei have made Quel'Danil their home, and these Highvale Draenei follow the shamanic path first laid by Nobundo, learning to become druids. With Seradane so close, the Wildhammers, Danai,* and Highvale Elves commune with the Kaldorei and Worgen. Thus the Highvale Elves begin to consider themselves a distinct elven nation. In their concordance with the Wildhammers, their bodies (adorned with tattoos) become thicker and more stout, becoming the shortest and widest of elves. Similarly, these Highvale Draenei, or (*) Danai, come to intermix with their neighbours resulting in browner and greener, tattoo'd, and more nature-y space goats
Thus:
Kaldorei - Children of the Stars - Night Elves
Eldorei - Children of Eldre'Thalas - Shan'dralar
Shal'dorei - Children of the Night - Nightborne
Fal'dorei - Children of Falanaar / followers of Aranasi
Sin'dorei - Children of Blood / of the Bloodline - Blood Elves
Quel'dorei - Children of Noble (lit. High) Birth
Some useful Thalassian words:
Quel - High, Noble
Belore - Sun
Alah - Light
Thas - Forest
Danil - ? Peak
(*)For the goats:
-nai = "with / person of a place" e.g., Kurenai, Auchenai)
-dor = settlement (e.g., Talador, Telredor)
Quel'Danil > Danidor (in Draenic, a borrowing) > Danai
(There is no word for mountain in-game in the language, so I did my best with "Danai")
For the Elves...
Highvale Elves: Either keep Quel'dorei for its literal use of "high"/"quel," or transition to Thas'dorei (ew), or Bel'dorei, a shortening of Belore'dorei "Children of the Sun" as both a way to stay true to Sun-worshipping heritage, keep in allied complementary opposition to Kaldorei's Elune worship, and a nod to the new Night Elven home of Bel'Ameth. I convinced myself writing this: Bel'dorei for Highvale Elves
Danassian Elves: These are the elves that still 'shun' nature worship, maintain an arcane practice, and follow the Light. They are spread around, but their capital is Dalaran now. They oppose the Blood Elves but still need to sate their needs and thus still utilize the Sunwell as the font of power it is. They are Children of the Light, or Light Elves, and Alah'dorei or, for short, Al'dorei in Thalassian (now Danassian)
Danai - Those from Danidor (Quel'Danil) - Highvale Draenei
Bel'dorei - Children of the Sun - Highvale Elves
Al'dorei - Children of the Light - Dalarani (&c.) High Elves

Note
Fal'dorei are specifically spider elves from Suramar, however there are other spider elves in WoW that you could turn to. There's Nerubians, which are all completely undead as of now, which were some sort of underground insectoid-humanoid civilization that became spider-like over time (and stole architecture from the Tol'vir, which influenced the Scourge), and then there's the other nerubian-looking things from Ahn'qiraj that are sort of nerubian but not really, they just happened to evolve the same. I think there might be one more as well, but Fal'dorei are the more elven looking ones. WoW's spider-people lore is convoluted and annoying, but the Fal'dorei seem to work similarly to the Falmer of The Elder Scrolls, as from what I know they were never cursed or anything - they just look like that. Maybe they could pass the Fal'dorei curse to others, but there's honestly not much lore on them.
I thought I read something about the fal'dorei being cursed, but I can't remember now. I'm just thinking what if by some interdimensional bullshit a nightborne was bitten by a spider from the Spiderman universe. And then became that dimension's spiderman. I think this should happen to an AU Uinen
I don't know if the mantid/klaxxi are the last ones you were trying to think of, even though they're more just general insectoids rather than spiders. But I love them and I also based my own original species off of them (really just the design, the lore isnt related). I don't think I've EVER posted anything about it though despite having worked on this fictional insectoid race since I was like 12. But I do have one named OC, N'sixx, who you can see on my art fight page if anyones interested

Illidari Headcanons
While I do consider the Illidari as their own unique race to the others, I do have some headcanons for the forces as a whole so let's get right into them.
General:
The main faction is called Finel-Aegiess, which means in Darnassian "The Last Protectors".
The Ritual of becoming a Demon Hunter has no variations within the faction as it still requires the preformer to have nothing but their life to loose.
Once someone has successfully become a Demon Hunter they are treated as a family member with squad members treating each other as siblings with the squad leader seen as a parent/oldest sibling, companies acting as tribes and chapters seen as clans.
After Illidan anointed The Slayer as the supreme leader of the Finel-Aegiess, they promoted 5 of their greatest champions into leadership positions where they each lead a multitude of chapters which they called (much to the shagrin of everyone) Legions.
There are a total of 5 Finel-Aegiess Legions with The Slayer only having a Chapters-worth of forces made up of the best of the best at their command.
The Finel-Aegiess Legions names are called; The Sentinels Ascendant (Lead by Altruis), The Noble Exemplars (Lead by Kayn), The Immortal Vipers (Lead by Lady S'theno), The The Tormentors Imperius (Lead by Akama) and The Prophets of Penace (Lead by Matron Mother Malevolence). The Slayer's Elite Chapter is called The Omega Hunters.
Each legion of Finel-Aegiess has around 10,000 to 250,000 members, a single Chapter has at the very least 1,000 members, a Company roughly has 100 members and a squad has about 10 members.
Most of the races that has joined the Finel-Aegiess has brought with them a new Metamorphosis.
After reorganizing Finel-Aegiess into what it is now, The Slayer had their forces retake their former bases of operation.
Elves:
Elves are the most numerous of Finel-Aegiess with members of each breed of Elf within the faction and every Elf that becomes a Demon Hunter is called an Illidari.
Each of the forms the Elves brought are as follows; Night Elves with Havoc, Nightborne with Analyst (Inquisitor look with Ranged Support), High Elves with Seekers (Darkglare/Observer Look with Magical Ranged DPS), Blood Elves with Vengence and Void Elves with Swarm (Imp look with Melee Support).
Most of the Veteran Hunters are Night and Blood Elves, it should also be noted that Veteran Hunters are called Scar Hunters and are seen as Grandparent to younger Demon Hunters.
The Illidari used to have a view that all non Illidari were lesser, but thanks to the efforts of The Slayer and Altruis that view changed.
Satyrs:
Satyrs, like all demons, did not bring a new form/ability for Metamorphosis but they instead brought with them various new druidic skills and a way to travel through the emerald dream/nightmare.
Common roles the Satyr are; Scouts & Front-Line Infantry.
Not many Night Elf Illidari enjoy being around Satyrs due to their history, but thanks to the efforts of Altruis that is slowly changing.
The sects that have joined Finel-Aegiess are; Haldarr, Legashi, Nethervine, Sargeron & Shadowhoof.
Naga:
The Naga brought with them the ability to make one's Metamorphosis aquatic, which adds to the Metamorphosis; Webbed feet and hands, gills and fins.
The roles of the various Naga remain the same within Finel-Aegiess.
Very few of the Naga apart of Finel-Aegiess have actually gone through the ritual to transfrom into a breed of Naga above their original form.
The Naga of Finel-Aegiess do infact have a Hierarch Naga that is not Azshara.
Fal'dorei:
While the Fal'dorei did not bring anything new to the Metamorphosis they do provide a very important role within Finel-Aegiess, they use their silk to make clothes, bedding, bandages and other such things.
Because of their invaluability almost all Fal'dorei remain at the bases as medics & emotional support, it's quite common for squads to call their assigned Fal'dorei Mother or Father.
Most Fal'dorei that act in a combat role are usally Spellbreakers with a bow and arrows.
Felblood Elves:
The Felbood Elves that have joined Finel-Aegiess brought with them the ability to give wings to any of the Metamorphosis forms, this has proven to be invaluable.
Thanks to the community that is Finel-Aegiess every Blood elf & Felblood elf no longer have a mana addiction, how this was done is unknown to all outsiders and while Finel-Aegiess have tried to tell the rest of Blood elf kind they do not listen due to the fact that they have a new sunwell.
The intagration of Felbood elves into Finel-Aegiess was suprisingly easy, as most of them had worked with demons and fel-fueled technologies before.
San'layn:
The San'layn brought with them necromantic magic with them, this has proven useful as it is easier to raise the head of a demon than taking a whole demon alive for questioning.
Due to the above mention skill most San'layn have the role of interrogators and information gatherers.
Due to the fact that San'layn are a rare form of undead (in that their entire body is revived to the point that they can be seen as alive), they can become Illidari unlike other undead who would mearly become the host body to the demon.
Orcs:
Orcs that become Demon Hunters are called Dae'gora, which means Twisted Gorer and they are called this as they gore the twisted demons.
Both regular Orcs and Mag'har brought with them the Chaos Metamorphosis (Felstalker look with mix magical combat).
Most of the Orc's relate to which clan they come from, as such many different role end up being filled by Orcs.
The clans within Finel-Aegiess that are regular and Mag'har Orcs are; Blackrock, Burning Blade, Frostwolf, Rageroar and Thunderlord.
Fel Orcs:
Due to the Fel Orc's intensity, they brought with them the Calamity Metamorphosis (Shivarra Look with Melee DPS Tank).
Since the defeat of Illidan at the Black Temple, the Fel Horde exiled the Bonechewer clan and the Burning Blade & Thunderlord clans left to become regular Orcs once more.
The clans still apart of the Fel Horde are; Bleeding Hollow, Dragonmaw, Laughing Skull, Shattered Hand & Shadowmoon.
Eredar:
The name for a Demon Hunter Eredar is Ered'eesh which translates as "Butcher of Corruption".
While the Eredar did not bring anything for the Metamorphosis' they bring invaluable skills, shuch as their artificers knowledge of the Legions technologies.
The only Eredar that cannot become Demon Hunters are; Wrathguards, Brutes, Doommaidens Destroyers, Ur'zul, Lightforged & Voidscarred, this is because their bodies are too infused with Fel/Light/Void.
While Akama originally did not trust the Slayer and their Illidari, he was able to grow a kinship with them thanks to the efforts of Altruis (the two of them are now best friends).
The tribes of Lost Ones & Broken that are apart of Finel-Aegiess are as Follows; Umbrafen & Tuurem for the Lost Ones & Ashtongue, Greyheart & Murkblood for Broken.
Sentinels Ascendant:
As mentioned before the Sentinels Ascendant Legion is led by Altruis.
The Sentinels are stationed at Hellfire Citadel, their duties there is to mantain control and peace at Hellfire Peninsula, ensure the Fel Horde doesn't try to take over Outland or invade Azeroth and guard the Dark Portal.
The Races that make up the bulk of the Sentinels are; Night Elves, Satyrs, Nightborne, Orcs, Fel Orcs, Ered'ruin, Annihilan & Overfiends.
The Sentinels Ascendant Legion has 7 Chapters with 54 Companies in total, the Chapter are known as; The Jade Interceptors, The Brazen Valedictors, The Wardens Infernus, The Horned Sabres, Justicars Unchained, The Ashen Brotherhood & The Gilded Vipers.
The Sentinels are commonly the ones to try and keep the other Legions from attacking each other.
Noble Exemplars:
As stated before the Noble Exemplars Legion is Led by Kayn Sunfury.
The Exemplars are stationed at Tempest keep, their duties include maintaing control and peace in Netherstorm, keeping watch over the Felsworn of the territory and keeping guard of Finel-Aegiess' worst enemies that have been captured.
The Bulkward of the Exemplars is made up of; Blood Elves, High Elves, Felblood Elves, Void Elves, San'layn, Nathrezim, Inquisitors & Jailers.
The Noble Exemplars Legion had originally 22 Chapters with 189 Companies total, but due to a heavy attack from the Felsworn they now only have 8 Chapters with 49 Companies in total and the Chapters are; The Ebon Reapers, The Chorus of Penitence, The Obsidian Arrows, The Black Blades, The Onyx Scorpions, The Necropolis Scimitars, The Shrouded Templars & The Hallowed Mortifactors.
The Exemplars share a rivalry with the Sentinels Ascendant in a similar fashion to the rivalry of Altruis and Kayn.
Immortal Vipers:
The Immortal Vipers are led by Lady S'theno as mentioned before.
The Base of operation for the Vipers is Coilfang Resevoir, their duties are maintaing Peace and Stability in Zangramarsh, ensureing there is enough water for all of Outland & acting as a neutral zone for the Horde and Alliance.
The Immortal Vipers are mostly made up of Naga, Fal'dorei, Nightborne, Darkglares & Observers.
There are a total of 3 Chapters with 30 Companies in total, the Chapters are; The Lacerating Striders, The Serpentine Desolators & The Silver Slakers.
Lady S'theno has become a Hierarch Naga, she along with Azshara are the only ones so far.
The Tormentors Imperius:
Akama is the Leader of The The Tormentors Imperius Legion as stated before.
Their base of operation is the Black Temple, their duties are Watching over Shadowmoon valley, Protecting the Netherwing Dragonflight's hatcheries & acting as both rehabilitators & retirement centre.
The Tormentors Are mostly made up of Broken, Lost Ones, Draenei, Man'ari, Lightforged, Night Elves, Satyr, Fal'dorei, Mo'arg, High Elves & Void Elves.
The Tormentors have 13 Chapters and 137 Companies, the Chapters are; The Reclaimers Unyielding, The Honoured Destroyers, The Radiant Phalanx, The Gilded Swords, The Fists Vigilant, The Sentinels of Iron, The Solar Spears, The Protectors of Steel, The Solar Paragons, The Gold Wrath, The Twilight Templars, The Cardinal Crusaders & The Topaz Adders.
Most, if not all members of the Tormentors are Scar Hunters, with new members commonly being Scar Hunters from other Legions being transfered as to better rest themselves.
Prophets of Penace:
Matron Mother Malevolence is the Leader of The Prophets of Penace Legion as mentioned.
The Prophets base of Operation is Blade's Edge Mountains, their duties there are to mantain control and peace, train new recuits & send members to other worlds for their missions.
The Bulkward of the Prophets is made up of; Shivarra, Sayaadi, Nathrezim, Aranasi, Night Elves & Nightborne.
There are only 2 Chapters within The Prophets of Penace Legion with 20 Companies, the Chapters are known as; The Golden Visionaries & The Oracles of Fire.
Many of the Demons within this Legion have been known to cause self-harm on themselves out of a deep regret for working with the Burning Legion.
Omega Hunters:
While Omega Hunters are noted to be the bodyguards of The Slayer and thus take orders from them, they do have a Chapter Master who more directly leads them and the Chapter Master is Aranna Starseeker.
The Fel Hammer is their base of operations, their duties are to protect The Slayer and thoses they deem, Go on missions that The Slayer has seen as too dangerous for anyone else & keep tabs on all of their Legions.
There is a least one of each race that is apart of Finel-Aegiess within the Omega Hunters.
There are 10 Companies within The Omega Hunters Legion.
Some of the more noteable members of The Omega Hunters Legion are; Shalja, Karnuk, Baduu, Vandel & Kor'vas Bloodthorn.

Side Character Blog Renovation
Hello all! I’ve recently made an alt I’ve been growing more and more enthralled with, but since his story overlaps with another I have in my roster I thought “Hm. Perhaps I should have them on the same site?”
And so I did just that.
@hazukhota is no longer and it is now @spider-and-scarab!
Tumblr media
Lurking in his shadowy natural habitat, may I present to you Hazu’s new partner-in-crime: Alukath the Shadespinner.
He’s a formidable mage hunter, trapper, aaaand he’s also a giant spider creature...
Tumblr media
It’s a story I’m looking forward to tell one day (hands and time permitting)! But to make a long story short, Hazu’khota found himself an ally with a disenfranchised Fal’dorei strider ---
Tumblr media
(One of THESE guys)
--- and helped him get the hell out of Suramar now that the Nightborne are newly liberated and, surely, are going to go on a spider-elf squishing spree when they’ve half a chance.
Armed with a sweet glamour, a whole lot of moxie, and a very sparse grasp of the Common tongue, Alukath is doing his best to integrate into this new and strange world the Alliance has to offer and eat as little of its citizens as possible.
We hope you will enjoy the trip as well. <3

Musings on the Teldorae
~ Lorekeeper Kalishnu "Kalith" Astravar
The Suramari Highborne, having been locked in arcane and Nightwell isolation for millennia, diverge away from their elven kin, the Teldoran family, in physiological, linguistic, and sociocultural matters.
Of the genus Kalimdorus, they are one of two known species (K. zindorus shalassia), the other being K. zindorus suramara, or the Nightfallen. We, the Nightborne, have allied with the Sin'dorei most overtly, and it is these cousins of ours where we see our reflection most clearly. Their sacred Sunwell, the wretched they become, the hopes and betrayals, gains and losses...
The queldorus species is the largest within the family (and, indeed, in terms of sub-speciation, it is of the most numerous to my reckoning). These Teldorids include quite notably a large number of branches within the Necrosa family, a polyphyletic clade necrotically linked to a majority of sapient species' family trees. In short: There is a notable population of undead elves, the majority being Kalimdorus queldorus
I remain uncertain in how to classify the various K. queldorus sub- species and races. As it stands, of the Teldorae, this is how I understand them:
Kaldorei, Kalimdorus kaldorus darnassia: Night Elves
Sin'dorei, K. queldorus thalassia: Blood Elves
Shal'dorei, K. zindorus shalassia: Nightborne
Fal'dorei, K. faladorus falanaara: Aranasi Elves
Of these I feel most confident.
The Wretched, Withered, and Nightfallen have given me headaches in trying to classify them. Indeed, the High, Highvale, Blood, and Felblood Elves also grind the gears of classification:
High, K. q. ____
Blood, K. q. ____: Sin'dorei
Felblood, K. q. ____
Wretched, K. q. ____: Arkhan'dorei
Highvale (Danillian), K. q. ____
Withered, K. z. ____: Ethe'dorei
Nightfallen, K. z. ____: Arcan'dorei
At first glance, it should be easy: High Elves, or Quel'dorei, are Kalimdorus queldorus thalassia and Blood Elves--Sin'dorei who are High Elves who live in Quel'thalas--should be K. q. thalas-...
At least the Nightfallen and Withered have easier Shalassian names: Arcan'- from the Arcan'dor trees, and Darnassian "ethe-" meaning "to wither away." However, for their Latinate names, the initial noting of K. zindorus suramara runs into the snag of precision. Is it right to refer to the Nightfallen as those beings of Suramar? What about the affix "zin-" meaning "glory" in the Kaldorei tongue but also eliminated from Shal'dorei ones. Perhaps K. arandorus shalassia be a better descriptor of Shalassian Elves, with the use of "aran-" aligned with the guess that "Shal'aran" means "home of/within the shadows"
Then, with the sun-loving elves, are the High Elves (of, let's say, Dalaran) that different than the Highvale Elves of the Hinterlands? Wretched are indeed distinct from Blood Elves, but are they a different subspecies or a different race? If the Wretched self-organize, should they therefore be K. q. lithiensis, named for the Quel'lithien Lodge?
Quel'dorei, K. queldorus danassia: High Elves
Belore'dorei, K. q. danillia: Highvale Elves
Sin'dorei, K. q. thalassia: Blood Elves
Fel'dorei, K. q. ...: Felblood Elves
Ren'dorei, K. q. renellia: Void Elves
Fal'dorei, K. faladorus falanaara: Aranasi Elves

Elf Headcanons
Elves are stinky poopoo heads who steal your lunch money and go home to brag about it to their Fey relatives, I could go on and on about how and why Elves and Fey in general suck but I won't; so let's talk about the Elves.
Night Elves:
Due to their culture being very "one with nature", Night Elves don't have bath tubs or showers within their houses but instead have public bathing ponds & lakes.
Most Night Elves are nudists but due to how the rest of the alliance thinks wear clothes to make them feel more comfortable, this is also why Night Elves where very little clothing.
Night Elf marriage is not just a union between two lovers but their families as well, so its not uncommon to find that your Night Elf partner has an entire villages worth of family members.
The needyness of Malfurion and Tyrande is common for all Night Elves, even as the Night Warrior Tyrande will go out of her way to get Malfurion to get her needyness out of her system.
Satyr:
After the fall of the Legion, the Satyr have fallen into 4 groups; Legion loyalists, followers of Xavius, Crystal and misc who just are doing their own thing.
Xavius' more monsterous from is known as a Satyr Corruptor and due to his death, other Shadow Saytr have ascended to become that breed.
While many Saytr who go to the Night Elves seek a cure for their Saytr state, some have come to accept their state and have made a more feral version of Night Elf culture.
A group of Saytrs is called a Trip, no one knows why it just is.
A common flirt for a Satyr is to enact a prank that has a focus on flowers towards the one they are interested in.
Naga:
There are 7 breeds of Naga; Commons, Sea Witches, Tri'Mak (Three tails), Brutes, Lords, Centaurs and Hierarchs (Azshara).
From bottom to top the Hierarchy of Naga culture it goes; Brutes, Commons (Male, Female), Tri'Mak (Male, Female), Lords, Sea Witches, Centaurs and finally Hierarchs (Male, Female).
While all the breeds can be born from eggs, one can transform Commons or Tri'Mak into Lords, Centaurs, Brutes or Hierarchs (depending on the gender.)
A common show of affection is to wrap oneself around their significant other.
Azshara has not taken a mate as she has not found someone worhty of becoming a fellow Hierarch.
Nightborne:
Most of Nightborne culture is one to one with the Highborne culture.
A common flirt for Nightborne is to litteraly throw money at their romantic intrest.
Most Nightborne relationships end up with one person being the others Glucose Guardian.
Nightborne are one of the most snobbish breeds of Elves with High, Blood, Felbood, San'lyn and Naga just before them in that order.
Fal'dorei:
Fal'dorei culture is very similar to Nightborne culture with the only difference being that Fal'dorei culture is more aggressive.
A romantic gesture for Fal'dorei is to rap their partner up in webbing.
Most Fal'dorei are introverted in nature, but there are a small percent of them that are extroverted.
Fal'dorei translated from Shalassian means; "Children of the Web".
High Elves:
While many say that High Elves and Blood Elves are the same appearance-wise, there are subtle differences. An example is that High Elves are lighter in skin tone and hair colour than Blood Elves.
While snobbish in nature, High Elves can in fact stop acting in such a way if it is causing issues for who ever their talking to.
It is a common dream for many High Elf women to have children, as having a child is seen as a blessing from the sun.
Most high Elves will comission poems for their romantic partners/inerests as a show of affection (most poems are about 4 hours long).
Blood Elves:
While similar to High Elves, Bloods Elves can have darker skin (ie tan, black ect.)
another difference between Blood Elves and High Elves is that Blood Elves are generally thinner due to relying on magic more than actual food and drink.
Blood Elves are only snobbish as disway people from thinking that they need help.
Polygamy is one of the most common forms of a Blood Elf relationship.
Felblood Elves:
After the Legions defeat, Most Felblood Elves have joined the Horde while others remained with the Legion or retreated to Outland to build a new home and culture.
There is currently a political debate on who is the rightful ruler after Kael'thas perished for the second time.
The Felblood Elves found in Outland have taken claim to all the abandoned Blood Elf settlements in Netherstorm.
Most of the Outland settlements have been adapted to the Felbloods new ability of flight.
San'layn/Darkfallen:
Suprisingly, the Darkfallen have a similar culture to Felblood Elves, in that they are like Blood Elf aristocracy with much more debautched activities.
San'layn society is unsuprisingly matriarchal and thus females are treated better than males with the only form of peace between the two being the Blood Prince Council.
It should come as no suprise that only Female Darkfallen can grow wings.
it is common for San'layn nobility to have harems of both living and undead beings.
Illidari:
Due to the fact that the Illidari were once just simply a group of various Demon Hunters, much of their culture is a patchwork of other Elven culture along with that of hunting what remains of the Legion.
Many Illidari have been breeding with one another and thus have been slowly making the Illidari a hybrid breed between all the living forms of Elves.
Something most people find cute about the Illidari is that they will sometimes sleep in giant piles with one another for mental & emotional comfort.
Many Illidari have been working on a permenate portal to Azeroth from Mardum, similar to the Dark Portal.
Void Elves:
Most of Void Elf culture is based around the ideals and philosophies of Alleria.
During time when the whispers of the void are too overwlehming for a Void Elf, they will take a pilgramige to Naaru like Saa'ra to bestow small parts of light within the Elf to quiet the whispers.
While Void Elves were once Blood Elves, they have tried to make their culture more like that of the original High Elves with touches of void.
Many Void Elf Warlocks focus on trying to summon Void races that are like Voidwalkers.
