They say that feminists and dykes are only one misogynistic cock away from becoming fucktoys. As a former radical feminist and lesbian, I can tell you 💯 this is correct. All it took was one Dyke Breaking Alpha Male and I was back to being a cock swallowing fuckdoll.

The worst part about the "mansplainer Gale truthers" is that it comes with a fundamental misunderstanding of what mansplaining is. To mansplain is to have a subconscious bias against women or queer people that makes a (cishet, white) man assume he knows better than someone else without evidence (or despite evidence to the contrary), and as such condescendingly over-explain common or industry-standard information to them. One of the formative essays on the topic, published in 'Men Explain Things To Me' by Rebecca Solnit, is about an anecdote wherein the author introduced herself as a writer to a man who then explained her own essay to her, while bulldozing any attempt by her and a female friend to reveal that she'd in fact written the book that he was pretending to be an expert on. The man listened to her introduce herself as a writer on a particular topic, and had so little respect for her intelligence that he thought he would explain the subject to someone that had just told him she was an expert, while he himself admitted to only ever reading the blurb of her book.
While Gale being condescending is to some degree a matter of interpretation, it is objectively true that he knows more than the player, regardless of class choice. He was an archmage and Mystra's chosen, if the player was anywhere near his level of expertise he would've known about them already, especially if they're a wizard (which is the only magic class that goes through formal educational institutions and could be expected to know the things he lore-dumps about). Beyond that, in most of his lore-dump scenes he is addressing the entire party, the only magic user of which (Shadowheart) is also an amnesiac. It's safe to say his assumption that he knows more about magic/magic history than the rest of you is both valid and accurate.
It isn't mainsplaining when literally one of the top 10 experts in a given field explains something to you, and misusing the term just invalidates people who actually experience and try to call out mansplaining. Mansplaining originated in an uneducated guy believing he had the right to explain a subject to a woman he knew to be an expert. Literally all Gale's done his entire life is study magic, let the man infodump.

If a man engages in domestic violence but has never hit one of his bosses, he doesn’t have an anger “management” problem, he can manage his emotions just fine, he just thinks it’s morally okay to hit his wife/gf, and or there won’t be consequences for it

Girls from foster care may be overrepresented among sex trafficking victims due to vulnerabilities such as lack of stable support systems, history of abuse, and a desire for belonging. Grooming involves manipulative tactics to establish trust and control, making individuals more susceptible to exploitation.
Similarly, girls from foster care may be overrepresented in homeless statistics due to factors like aging out of the system without adequate support, experiencing abuse within foster care, and lacking family resources.
Referring to sex trafficking victims as "sex workers" is inappropriate, especially when underage, because it inaccurately implies a choice and ignores the coercion, force, or manipulation involved. Many victims, especially those with histories in the child welfare system, enter the sex industry involuntarily.
The term "sex work" can be deceptive as it implies a voluntary choice, while victims of sex trafficking often face circumstances beyond their control. Recognizing the coercion and exploitation involved is crucial to addressing the issue appropriately.

Anatomy is already sex defined bro and gender is a societal outgrowth of biological sex.
saying that there shouldn't be any practical difference between male & female chests (bare or otherwise) and that people should not be treated differently based on their physical attributes or perceived gender is literally like feminism 101. people have been saying this for generations. get it together

tfwiki the MOST useful feature u could have for me at this point is to simply having a rating for comics/comics writers on the woman (and other marginalities, allegory or not) suckage rating. i dont wanna hear about it. i dont wanna hear about HOW LONG. weve been having cold take shit heads play in the space. just on a scale of arcee was made to appease the feminists to cv/es actual rep of diverse gender AND diverse gender pres. thats all

WHAT R UR THOUGHTS ON BUDDY DADDIES EPISODE 8 🙏
I THINK IT WAS OUTSTANDING
First off, from the very first scene with Miri asking Rei where he's going and then saying but his home is here, and he says "THAT'S TRUE". AS TRUE AS HOW MUCH I CRIED UPON HEARING THAT
I think this episode was a great continuation from last episode's Kazuki-focused perspective, where Kazuki accepted to move on and essentially to live in the present from now on, the present that includes Miri and Rei. And now we got to follow Rei trying to find his place and accepting that his heart belongs with the little Kazuki & Miri family that he has little by little become more a part of than he realises.
I think the episode did a great job portraying how conflicted Rei is as he stands in-between having to continue his family business and having found a new home, which he might not necessarily feel like he belongs to (yet), but which he wants to belong to. And it's the way he did not outright say this, but what he does say is that there is something he also wants to protect, in direct parallel to his former mentor who was fighting to protect his significant other!!!
I also love how Rei's journey in this episode didn't end on some super optimistic final note (which last episode kind of did with Kazuki, the sun breaking out when he comes to his realisation and the colourful flowers and everything) but rather showing how Rei has simply taken the first small steps towards the future he wants, and sometimes that's enough.
Like, he's brooding and contemplating his identity and place in the world when Kazuki calls and he just lets it ring, but he picks it up in the end. Kazuki comes and he doesn't want to get in the car, but he does. We get to see their first meetings and how Kazuki took care of him, and even back then it was just a small step Rei took - he let Kazuki help. Rei asks if they can really change, and Kazuki doesn't know - but he took the step to ask, and Kazuki answered honestly. And that's already a change, this decision of theirs to step by step try to do the right thing so that they can live their lives the way they want, together with Miri. And in this episode it culminated in Rei smiling at sleepy Miri and the birthday table prepared by Kazuki, and that's enough for now.
Idk idk just think this series does such a wonderful job in showing the character's personal journeys and the difficulties of not just their jobs and lifestyles but also, very obviously, of two men raising a child together, and it does this in such a magnificent way with the perfect balance between optimistic and realistic. This episode was just another part of the wonderful whole, and it stands out so well on its own while still being such an important turning point in our main characters' story as a whole!
Also that ending scene?????? i won't survive the angst of the next episodes

ok someone just made a post about how some women are treated a type of way purely off of vibes (specifically mean girl vibes in that post) and how it's fucked up to presuppose that going off of absolutely nothing and I definitely agree that's fucked up
however, they also said men don't get treated this way and I was like
H U U U U U U H H H H H H ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
men ABSOLUTELY get treated negatively by absolute strangers based off of Vibes™, are we living on the same planet? you know how many guys have been minding their own business but are called creepy or intimidating behind their back? this is especially common for men of color. bro someone once told me that I gave off serial killer vibes like ??????

The way that my friend felt disappointed when he found out as a kid that an androgynous character he idolized was a woman because he quote "couldn't relate to the character anymore" and the way that the creator of Celeste """discovered he was non-binary""" because he wrote a female character that he was able to relate to are branches off of the same vein of misogyny I think

The time period is the Kanko era, one of the eras that took place during the 400 years of the Heian period. With Kasen Kanesada as the captain, Ookurikara, Ichimonji Norimune, Sanchoumou, Himetsuru Ichimonji, and Nansen Ichimonji travel to Heian-kyo.
This was because they had detected abnormalities surrounding the history of Murasaki Shikibu, author of the world's oldest full-length novel, The Tale of Genji.
While the Touken Danshi are scouring Heian-kyo in search of Murasaki Shikibu, they come across a woman being hunted down by a suspicious group. Kasen Kanesada strategically instructs them: “Let us first observe their movement”, but Ookurikara ignores him and strikes at the enemy.
After the fight, the rescued woman introduces herself as Lady Koshosho. According to her, an intimate of Murasaki Shikibu, this era of Heian-kyo seems to have been overcome by the fictional world of The Tale of Genji.
Under the guidance of Lady Koshosho, Kasen Kanesada and the others begin to investigate the imperial court, where they observe Hikaru Genji animatedly engaging in amorous talk with aristocrats that never existed in actual history. It was a famous scene from the Tale: Commentaries during a Rainy Night.
Having witnessed a scene that had never existed in any era, Kasen Kanesada and the others take stock of their current situation. This was a world where "history" and "story" were reversed.

Feminists who were in foster care: Hey these statistics about the foster care to sex trafficking pipeline are really scary! I wish more feminists would pay attention to foster kids...
Liberal feminist #1: wow look at those SWERFs being concerned about saving the children
Liberal feminist #2: Omg just like Conservatives. How disgusting! 🤢
