This is Samoa, he is a 10 year old Rottie mix. I adopted him a few months ago. His owner of 10 years abandoned him with me covered in fleas, skin & ear infection, suffering from his arthritis, and then she got a new puppy. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

But now he has a great life & is so much healthier, he’s being raised by my gf and I and will live out the rest his life happy and spoiled <3333

“Layla” This girl, Layla. I decided to foster her until she found her forever home. I didn’t realize that first night I brought her home that I was bringing her to her forever home. This sweet baby doesn’t leave my side. She sits by my feet like this waiting for me to pick her up or go sit somewhere that she can snuggle up against me. She actually cries for awhile after I leave the house. I’m pretty sure she picked me 🐾❤️🐶🐾 Taos, New Mexico I feel so at peace when I have my camera in hand and can capture all the spaces in the world that I come upon. Photography allows you to document the presence of nature but also all the man-made disturbances that humans have left behind. Pratles Kitties 03

Sampai suatu hari di awal bulan Januari 2019, datanglah Smartees. 

Setelah sibuk hitung-menghitung, meowmmy memutuskan bahwa Smartees adalah ‘sisa’ anak2 Mochi, dan kemungkinan besar bapaknya Kidcat. Umurnya sekitar 7-8 minggu disini. 

Kurus. Lapar. Segala macam dimakan. 

Untungnya meowmmy sudah mulai ‘rajin’ beli makanan kucing komersil. Smartees langsung berangkat ke dokter hewan besoknya, bersama2 Kidcat dan Poccie yang terjadwal vaksin ke 2. Smartees dikasih obat kutu & obat cacing. Pulang2 dia mengeluarkan cacing gelang utuh di litterbox. Hore. 

Pacalan mlulu.

Oh ya, Kidcat diberangkatkan steril sekitar bulan Desember, sesudah Poccie kembali dengan selamat & meowmmy jadi yakin. Kidcat dan Poccie sudah mulai hidup indoor permanently, karena meowmmy tidak mau mereka celaka di jalanan - masih banyak anak2 kecil yang jahil pada waktu itu.

Kembali ke Smartees. 

Tadinya meowmmy berniat untuk hanya mem-foster Smartees, lalu nantinya dilepas adopsikan ke orang lain setelah dia sehat dan mapan. Tapi...

...yagitudeh. Maklum baru pertama kali foster kitten dan masih amatir banget. Belum2 sudah baper... 

Apalagi anaknya langsung ikrib sama Poccie dan Kidcat. 

...ya sudah, meowmmy menyerah dan memutuskan untuk mem-foster-fail Smartees.

Absolutely gutted today after waking up to find Murdock had crossed the rainbow bridge. This guy won over our hearts and became another foster fail along with his brother Foggy. He was the happiest lil (big) ratto ever. After Curtis, he was definitely my husband’s heart rat too. Always giving kisses and so excited to pop his little head out of the igloos and waddle his way to the door. Every time he heard the treat bag crinkle he practically threw himself over the edge of the Bass pans to reach for his snacks. He loved sitting on Chris’s shoulder and making an appearance while he games with friends. Rest in peace mister fearless daredevil. Folks, meet the newest addition. A client of mine saw him at the front of my office building, so I grabbed him asap to avoid him running into the highway. He was just 1.2 lbs with a tic in his neck and worms in his belly. I was set to send him to the humane society and foster him in the meantime. FAILED big time. (Lol no surprise).
