Danzig 6:66 - Satan’s Child. The 2022 official vinyl reissue is now out in the wild. Still some copies at @cleopatrarecords and @danzig_7thhouse ‘s Bandcamp page. The 1999 CD was so loud and bassy, I was worried about how this would turn out on wax. I’m happy to report the vinyl maintains that huuuuuge bottom end. It’s a little quiet, so you get to really crank this up to feel the heat. All my fears are quelled, and I’m declaring this reissue a victory.

I swear, man, the Misfits have had crossover appeal with hard rock and heavy metal audiences since day one, and they were probably one of the few punk and/or hardcore bands of their day in which it was accepted in throwing up the devil's horns. Anyway, you probably wouldn't be seeing too much of that with many other punk bands in the early '80s.
