wait this hurts!!!!! especially with a pogue reader or just a super sweet kook reader who literally has been defending him to everyone! even her parents who do not want her seeing rafe anymore... i can just imagine that heartbroken feeling and then when he comes back with a buzz and honestly soo different too, his personality changed so much in between 2 and 3. and the first time they see each other...

Gavi turned off the engine to your car once you parked. You and Gavi were at a local club alongside your friends on a night out. Getting out of his seat and rushing to your side of the door, Gavi opened the car door for you.

“Thank you, good sir,” you said in a fake British accent, grinning at your smiling Gavi.

“Of course mi renia” he responded, grabbing your hand and leading you to the entrance. When you walked in, you saw the usual scene at a club, a lot of people dancing and drinking. Turning you saw your friends, and you both walked towards them.

You greeted your friends with hugs while Gavi did the bro hug with his friends. ‘Omg y/n it’s been forever since you’ve been able to come with us here, you’ve gotten so busy” My friend Taylor told me.

I laughed a little “I know but chicas i am here now” , you did a little dance in your seat while your friends cheered around you. Not far away Gavi was watching you from the corner of his eye, smirking at you being silly.

He walked up behind you from where you were sitting, “ do you want me to get you a drink mi amor?” he said, kissing your jaw. Smiling, turning your face to him you agreed, and he proceeded to go to the bar and get you one.

When Gavi comes back, he sits next to you, handing you your drink and taking a couple of sips from his own. As you’re both talking to your friends and laughing, your body naturally leans on Gavi. This causes Gavi’s arm to wrap around your shoulders.

“You both are too cute, it's disgusting”, you hear your friend say

Both of you blush in response as your friends start teasing you.

“Okay okay , you all are just jealous I have this incredible woman who's mine” Gavi said smiling cheekily, then leaning to quickly give you a kiss on the lips. Which you gladly accept.

All your friends cheer and yell, “Get a room!”

Laughing you both pull apart, that's when your friends pull you away from Gavi, making you stand up and link arms with you.

“Vale, you had plenty of time with her, we are taking this chica to the dance floor” they said before they dragged you away.

It wasn’t long before you and your friends were dancing crazily on the dance floor. Swaying to the music letting you all be carefree.

As you were dancing you started to feel thirsty, so you got a drink from the bar. Then keep living the party with your friends. Next thing you knew you were on your 5th drink of the night and definitely now starting to feel the alcohol take effect in your body. You were heading to the bar again for the 6th time tonight. As the bartender saw you they started to make your usual.

When you were waiting, a random guy slid to the chair next to you. ‘Hey pretty lady, what’s your name?” the guy said, trying to get closer to you. You turned your head to the man and quickly tried to put space between you too. “I have a boyfriend” you said promptly, turning away so that the guy would leave. Instead he didn’t.

“So ? … I don’t mind, plus he’s not around” he told you, trying to put his hand on your thigh. While still being slightly too drunk to comprehend what was happening you tried to get his hand off of you but the guy wouldn’t budge. “Come on, let’s go somewhere private” he said and you tried to get out of his grip when all of sudden you heard a shout.

“Hey! Get your hands off her!”

Looking to your side, you saw your boyfriend, Gavi. The strange guy looked at him pissed, “why don’t you mind your own business” Immediately Gavi got in his face, looking really mad, “She’s my girlfriend so it is my business, let go before you regret it!” you swear you could see smoke coming from his ears. The guy didn’t respond so Gavi pushed him, “let her go!” By this time your friends came to support, especially Gavi’s friends.

When the guy finally let go, Gavi quickly took you into his arms. Holding you close while he saw security take away the guy. “Are you okay mi amor?, I’m so sorry i wan’t there to protect you sooner”

He whispered to you, while drawing circles on your back because he knew that helped calm you down.

“I want to go home” you said into his shirt, feeling very overwhelmed from the alcohol and the guy almost taking you away. “Okay we’ll go home querida” he said softly to you, still holding you close to him as he walked you both out of the club and saying a quick goodbye to your friends.

Once you arrived to you and Gavi’s apartment, Gavi made sure to make you feel comfortable and try to ease you from the anxiety you had from the experience at the club. He gave you his sweatshirt and some sweats for you to change into, already having them prepared on your side of the bed once you got out of the bathroom. Walking downstairs once you got changed, you saw Gavi there with two mugs.

‘I was just about to go up there amor, go back up, i made us some hot chocolate” he told you from the counter. At his request you went back up to your room, with Gavi right behind you.

As you plopped onto the bed, Gavi put the mugs on the tiny table near the bed and took out from his pockets some medicine and a water bottle. He sat close to you, giving you a smile which you gave back to him. “Here this is for the headache I know you are going to have soon” he says as he hands you the medicine and water. Once you’ve taken it , he put on the tv one of your favorite shows to watch together. After he let you take a few sips from your mug before laying on the bed next to you and cuddling you. Trying to make you feel safe as possible in his arms, he gave you a kiss on your forehead and whispered in your ear, “Te amo mucho”

You smiled softly and rested you head more on his chest, “I love you too, thank you for this and for protecting me back there” you said softly

He looked down at you, meeting your eyes, “of course mi amor, I’ll always protect you no matter what” he said. Blushing a bit, you put your head again on his chest, lifting slightly to kiss the bottom of his neck. “My hero,” you said. Pulling you closer to his body, you felt at ease again, eyes slowly closing till you fell asleep.

Once Gavi saw you, he took the remote to turn off the tv. Then the lights before pulling the blanket over you two and kissing your head again, whispering in the dark, “bona nit mi amor”.

The conversation with Mason has left me totally devastated. But at least I've ruled him out another suspect.

I have to tell my heart to calm down or it will burst out of my chest uncontrollably.

*Jake POV*

When MC told me that she wanted to come, I tried to calm myself down. I felt that my body was reacting only to my impulses, wanting to stop waiting and go for her.

I continue to fix the computers. I need the money. At least for tonight. If MC comes, it means that she will have to stay the night and I have to take care of her, see if she needs anything for dinner or I do not know, maybe she has some tea to sleep? Last time I did not take it into account because she caught us by surprise. "I have to make a list of everything she needs." I tell myself nervously. I have to relax, then I will. i am zeroing in on the bad sleep schedule part because imagine you're sleeping and you feel someone gently shaking you and when you wake up Childe's sitting on the side of your bed, trying to make himself look innocent. you know it was him, but you don't say anything because you know he probably woke up due to a nightmare- ever since he fell in love they've switched from being about his time in the Abyss to losing you- so you take his hand, letting him lean against you as a reassurance that you're okay and still here. after a few minutes you ask if there's anything he wants to do, and Childe perks up and drags you outside for a little walk!! it turns into a longer walk though, and you end up on a hillside overlooking the Harbor

Childe transforms into Foul Legacy, since he knows no one's going to be walking around at this time of night, and nudges you until you sit down with a laugh and let him lay his head onto your lap. you pet his hair, humming and mumbling about your day until Childe relaxes and drifts off to sleep, claws loosely hooked around your arm and unconsciously tilting his head to follow your hands with sleepy purrs. he wakes up the next morning, somehow in bed, next to you and nightmare-free <33

ALSO ALSO THE PART ABOUT CHILDE DRAPING HIM OVER YOU- usually you can escape him after a bit because although he's strong, he's always really gentle with you, and he'll pout and stick by your side to watch what you're up to. but once he decides to use Foul Legacy, OH BOY you aren't getting out of his arms any time soon because his grip is so firm and solid that you couldn't wriggle away even if you wanted to!! when he does that it's like a weight- a really big, fluffy, purring weight, is laying on top of you, and once he wraps his arms around and brings you into his lap it's now cuddle time!! you can do your chores later, Foul Legacy wants affection <33
