no bc college!mingyu as someone who lives down the hall from your dorm and you always run into him doing something questionable

"What the hell are you doing?" She laughed the minute she caught sight of the resident she had gotten accustomed running into.

Their dorm was always bustling about, each and every student having their own schedule to manage.

Mingyu's tired eyes brightened at the sound of her voice, letting out an embarrassed chuckle as he continued brushing his teeth. "Running late for practice."

She stopped within a few feet from him, still giggling at his disheveled state – it was nearly 5pm and yet, he looked like he had just rolled out of bed.

His hair was mess, his backpack half zipped and shoes.... were barely on. There hadn't been a single time where she had bumped into him that he looked like he was actually put together.

"When are you ever on time for practice?" She teased.

He was one of the starters on the school basketball team, a key player. But of course, he was the coach's favorite and was rarely reprimanded for his actions.

"I over slept."

"It's 4:57 on a Tuesday." She flashed him her phone screen.

He laughed. "Your dad loves me anyways."

Her dad.

The team's coach.

The man that had nothing but wonderful words to say about Mingyu. practically begging her to make Mingyu his son in law.

"Unfortunately." She grimaced. "Starting to think he likes you more than me."

"Oh he does." Mingyu winked, earning a shove from the girl. "I'm telling dad."

"Don't call him that."

"Why? He calls me his son in law."

"You wish." She rolled her eyes – though she has no doubts her father does love him. There had been countless of times she had tried hanging out with her father only to find out that Mingyu was already with him; either grabbing dinner or playing golf.

He in fact does wish this to be true.
