@unfortunatedarling asked | "when you are not fed love on a silver spoon, you learn to lick it off knives"
The changeling, though disguised as a tanned, ivory haired elven woman, would flicker her gaze to the humanoid across from her. A soft smirk finds her features and she nods quietly.
"Your words do not fall upon deaf ears, darling. Look around. These people, my staff, we're all familiar with the double-edged sword that is love." A smile, though one of a somber sort, finds her features. "You needn't worry about consequences here. Everyone gives freely, spoon or hand fed, if you so desire." Within the Bailey was the Garden of Rapture; a hidden bordello that was only accessible to those deemed worthy enough.
"If you're lucky, you might even hear the Mistress of the house perform. They say her songs soothe all who listen. Like a siren or a harpy. Except there's no excruciating death at the end of it."

…yeji sobbed in yuna’s arms, her breathing became erratic, “she said ‘no’ to me, yuna. and then she immediately got back with her ex!” yeji hit the pillow beside her, “i should’ve known. ryujin said me once that she’s not gonna find anyone better than her ex girlfriend,” older girl let out a shaky sigh, now looking at younger shin, “am i that dumb?”
yuna felt sorry for her older… friend? they weren’t close enough to call each other that, they just wanted to date with their love interests, but nothing special happened, both of them got dumped. “no, you’re not, what makes you say that? i mean, you can call me dumb for loving my ex girlfriend that dated me for 3 days?” yuna said sarcastically, lightly laughing.
“well, yes. ah, what was that for?” yeji rubbed her shoulder because she got hit by yuna, definitely offended because of her words. “it’s kind of dumb loving her, even after what she’d done to you. i mean, if you were my girlfriend, i would treat you much better than lia.”
yuna looked at yeji with surprised expression on her face, that was definitely not what she expected to hear from older girl, “you really mean it?”
yeji nodded, slightly smiling at yuna, “yes, i mean every word that i said.”

FROZEN II OST SENTENCE STARTERS .
@ofmoonlily asked: “ i don’t know anymore what is true . ” //hello!!
What she said hit Cloud hard. Reality vs. Illusion. That sadly has been Cloud's constant struggle. Even if others saw a glimpse of his pain, no one could gather the torment that went through his mind. Flashes of images he couldn't remember, faces of people he couldn't clearly see, and worst of all Sephiroth. Never a moment where he wasn't confronted with his past. Cloud bit down on his lip before he spoke.
❛ It's sadly a battle some of us might face. That's why you can't take advantage of the friends around you. I push people away. Even if at times I am comforted by them, in the end, I rather be alone. It never gets easier, but you'll find the answers someday. Hopefully... ❜

Memories
Continued from here! @spiras-summoner
Arms are crossed over his chest as he keeps a watch over the ocean before him. Though, his focus isn't on the ocean itself, but someone within it. Someone, to this day, he still wants to protect - to keep safe - even if her pilgrimage was no more. Even if she's proven many a times that she is more than capable of taking care of herself.
So not only does he watch over her, but he also watches her with a proud look in his eyes.
Though, admittedly, he does still worry. Because even though Spira is at peace, he knows Yuna is not. Not completely, anyway, and he gets it. He understands. Because he feels it, too.
He misses him, too.
"What, you kiddin'? O' course, I do! Never know when that ocean might drag you out to sea! Gotta have someone make sure that doesn't happen." He reaches his hands out to her, as though intending to ruffle her hair as he's known to do, but instead, he places something on top of her head. Something he knows would bring a smile to her face and with it, memories.
He sees both and he offers her a warm smile in return. Especially when she recounts their time as children, much younger than they are now... and when Chappu was still with him.
Chappu. He missed his brother. Missed both of them.
"Chappu always said that only cause he was jealous o' how good mine looked! Always thought multiple colors looked better than just one." He defends his 'work', sharing in the laughter with Yuna, the memories filling his heart with warmth. Still, sometimes with a little bit of sadness too, but not as much. "Ah, yeah. Lulu was always good when it came to scoldin' us... took the fun out of a lot of things sometimes." He smirks, then rubs the back of his neck. "Don't, uh, don't tell her I said that, ya?" But really, he held so much love, admiration and respect for Lulu. Without her, he didn't know where they'd be. Especially him. Saved his butt a bunch of times. Helped guide him when he felt lost, helped pick him back up when he felt at his worst. He owed a lot to Lulu.
Then comes Yuna's next question, his arms returning to their crossed position. "All the time." He answers without hesitation, his booming voice having calmed, become more serious. "Never know how good the moments were until they're gone, ya?" He sighs, his eyes staring out at the sea once more. "But, hey, that's why we keep makin' more!" He nudges her with his elbow, giving her a beaming smile.
