Disappointed that your favorite hot player got out of the competition? Well, here's your chance! Unfortunately, not every single player that got out could be fit into this poll, so this is the ones that got the farthest/had the most vocal fans/had the closest polls. Jessica Telephone and Jaylen Hotdogfingers shall advance to the finals... but who will be with them?

I hope you know that literally nobody is going to be able to live up to the standard you, V*v, and Glitch have set and your arrogance and exploitation of your fanbase and connections has screwed millions of creatives out of their dreams because Hollywood is a joke that isn't worth telling and wealthy e-celebs like yourself have claimed the indie scene all to yourselves and moved the goalposts into the stratosphere.
Nope. This isn't a zero sum game. There is not some limited, prescribed number of indie trophy slots that a few studios greedily filled up, blocking everyone else out. That is not how it works. Nothing any other creator is doing - short of personally sending hired goons to your doorstep or stealing your credit cards - is taking anything away from you or preventing your success. In fact if an indie creator can manage to demonstrate that they've got something viable going, it may help to map out a pathway for others.
I think I'm not going to bother trying to address whether or not cartoons in return for support from fans - an entirely voluntary exchange - constitutes exploitation. And I'm living in the Midwest driving a 2007 economy car with 200k+ miles on it, but let's just skip past the assumptions that I'm wealthy and connected too.
Instead, let's get to the weirdly myopic notion that the indie scene is held captive by three studios. Maybe YouTube algorithms or Twitter bubbles are somewhat to blame, but in actuality there are so, so many individual people, friend groups, and small production houses out there making independent animation, I cannot possibly name them all.
Here are some anyway:
Far-Fetched Worthikids Satina | Scumhouse Noodle and Bun Punch Punch Forever Ramshackle Noodle Papajoolia | Pipi Angel Hare | The East Patch Jonni Peppers Salad Fingers Monkey Wrench Studio Heartbreak Felix Colgrave JelloApocalypse Odd1sout (started indie, got picked up by Netflix) Allie Mehner JaidenAnimations Lumi and the Great Big Galaxy Cloudrise | The Worlds Divide Telepurte RubberRoss James Lee ENA Godspeed | Olan Rogers Ollie and Scoops Meat Canyon Port by the Sea Kekeflipnote Boxtown Kevin Temmer Weebl Joel Haver CircleToons Long Gone Gulch Atlas and the Stars Animist Skibidi Toilet A Fox in Space Alex Henderson Talon Toniko Pantoja Sr. Pelo Hullabaloo Kane Pixels (started indie, picked up by A24) Homestar Runner Fennah Gods' School Alan Becker Dungeon Flippers JazLyte Psychicpebbles (started indie, Smiling Friends picked up by AS) Piemations vewn Metal Family Dead Sound chluaid Jacknjellify Betsy Lee | No Evil My Pride Cranbersher GeoExe | Gwain Saga Horatio the Vampire Mech West Playground | Rodrigo Sousa The Brave Locomotive Finchwing (+ many other Warrior Cats animators) Quazies SamBakZa Kamikaze: Trial by Fire
By no means a full list. That's just YouTube, and mostly just English language stuff, and I didn't even get to the multitudes of Warrior Cats animation collabs.
The point is, the indie landscape is vast and populated by creators new and old, making all kinds of animated media from skits, to shows, to ARGs, to films. Audience sizes vary as much as the content, stylistic approaches, subject matter, and budgets do. There are no compliance standards, no gateways to entry, no goalposts. There's not even any preset definition of success except what you decide for yourself.
Anyway, instead of nurturing your resentments, consider making something. I assure you, it's a far more rewarding use of your time and energy, and pretty much no one can stop you. ------------- EDIT- Made some additions to the list based on comments. Thanks!

3 though idk how much it will help but I love drama😅
oh my god you instigator LOL I also tacked on @goodolefashionedloverboi's request too
First part
He should've known that telling Eddie to shut the hell up would yield the opposite result. The phone calls were so constant, that Steve stopped picking up. When he saw him coming down the sidewalk, he walked the other way. Eddie had even started to try and send messages via the kids and wasn't that pathetic?
What was more pathetic was how hard it was for Steve to do all of this. He wanted more than anything to hear Eddie out, to find out that maybe his feelings were real all along. But there was no such chance.
There was a panicked moment when Eddie came to his work and he saw him talking to Robin outside. But Robin, steadfast and loyal and just as bitchy as him, told him to step off.
"I knew there was a reason I kept you around", Steve said he pushed a mail cart around.
Robin dug her hand in and handed it off to the white collars of Hawkins in the office building they worked at now. "I felt like a bouncer at a club."
Steve thought he was doing a good job on the break up mend. He hadn't spoken to Eddie in days, he hadn't rebounded on some poor soul, and he only cried late at night when he was all alone with his thoughts.
The moment he thought he was up though, was of course, when the universe brought him back down. He knew Dustin's house was a danger zone, what with the odds of Eddie being there. But Dustin had invoked a Code Red on the walkie and Steve came barreling down the road, nail bat at the ready.
Once again, Dustin pointed him in the direction of his cellar. Steve vividly remembered what Dustin had been keeping down here before. He went down the stairs, heard a familiar voice cry out "No! Wait!" before the door shut above him.
Steve held his bat defensively. He was down here with someone. He was about to swing when a lightbulb turned on and he was face to face with Eddie. Honestly, Eddie might've been safer from his bat if he was a stray demodog.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"I don't know", Eddie held his hands up in surrender. "But if I had to guess...I think Henderson wants us to talk."
"Did you put him up to this?!"
"Eddie didn't put me up to anything!", Dustin shouted from above. "You two need to get your shit together. I'll be back in an hour. Don't have make up sex in my cellar."
Steve tried opening it up but they were sealed shut until Dustin, or perhaps Mrs. Henderson let them out.
"The nerve of that kid", Eddie huffed.
"Right? Where the hell does he get it from?"
"Not from me. Us Munsons are humble. He must've gotten it from your side of the family."
Steve smiled as a traitorous breath of laughter came from him and he clamped it down immediately. It wasn't fair. Eddie couldn't do this. He glared at him, ready to blame the whole situation on him even though he was probably tricked as well.
"Don't look at me like that", Eddie said, his voice soft.
"I'd rather not look at you at all." Steve turned his back on him, hoping he could ignore him until they were let out. He came face to face with the mended part of the wall that Dart had dug out years ago. Such and odd series of events that led him here, that led him to Eddie. Just for it to end like this.
"Steve-"
“I fucking hate you.”
“No you don’t. Take that back right now.”
"I won't."
"Then look me in the eye and tell me."
Steve turned and he wished he hadn't. All he saw in Eddie's eyes was heartbreak. He knew because it mirrored the look in his own eyes. But it couldn't be real. It just couldn't.
"You should be in the movies, you know that? Give Hollywood a run for its money."
"Steve just listen to me! I'm sorry for playing with your feelings. I really am! But I wasn't lying when I said I want to be with you. Steve I l-"
"Don't you fucking dare." Steve's grip on his bat tightened. "Don't say that if you don't mean it or I swear..."
"Steve..." Eddie took a breath and stepped closer to him, incredibly aware of the weapon in his hand. "I love you."
Steve dropped the bat and Eddie pulled him into his arms. Steve wanted to beg for so many things. For Eddie to always love him, to treat him gently, to make him believe that he wanted him forever. It all came out in the form of tears.
"If this is another joke-"
"The only joke here if that I had you and fucked it up like an idiot."
"You really want me?", Steve sniffled.
"Baby, baby, baby", Eddie cradled his face and wiped some of his tears away. “I’m not even gonna lie, I’m just so fucking obsessed with you.” He wondered how many of his messages got through to Steve in the end. "Did you listen to any of my voicemails?"
Steve allowed a small smile through. "I think if I did, I would've caved in too fast. I'm obsessed with you too. I love you, Eddie. Too much probably."
"I'll be the judge of what's too much. And you, Steven Malcolm Harrington, are not too much."
Eddie kissed him and Steve felt whole again. Then Eddie kissed him again and Steve felt more than whole. In between the kisses, Steve started to laugh.
"I can't believe we're making out where Dustin kept his pet demodog."
Eddie jumped up into his arms. "His pet WHAT!?!"

I need everyone to look at this movie synopsis and imagine with me:
Tumblr media
Steve-compulsory-heterosexuality-Harrington as Howard Bracket
Nancy-compulsory-heterosexuality-Wheeler as his fiancée, Emily
Dustin-the-meddler-Henderson as Cameron Drake
and it's fanfic, so I can do whatever I want: both Robin and Eddie as Peter Malloy (Tom Selleck), two out-and-proud Hollywood reporters doing a piece on Steve's marriage, who help convince him that he's maybe not as straight as he thinks he is.

The Steddie (or just in general) potential of this
Just learned that Joe Manganiello, Sofia Vergara’s husband and famous actor, grew up a GIANT nerd and was into all the classics: DnD, comics, heavy metal, etc etc. He also hosts and dms campaigns to this day with other public figures in the basement of his and Sofia’s Hollywood home
Imagine with me:
Rockstar!Eddie Munson of Corroded Coffin fame and his hot husband Steve who the media loves to fawn over live in this beautiful private home in Southern Cali. The rest of the party is famous in their respective fields as well, but only people who have done a deep-dive into Corroded Coffin know about Eddie's Hawkins friends. The media is well aware of Eddie's musical and fantasy inspirations, as both have a heavy hand in CC's music. So, really, it's not a shock during a tv interview when Eddie says that he still plays DnD on the reg and dms campaigns for his friends. What IS shocking, however, is the seemingly random cast of famous people who come over to his basement for said campaigns.
Eddie doesn't give them a full list of names or anything, but he does mention that they're all old friends who reconvene when they can to play and catch up. He points out enthusiastically that Will Byers, one of the players, actually got a chance to illustrate one of the newer DnD guidebooks.
This all barely has time to settle with Corroded Coffin's fanbase and the media alike before, shortly after the interview airs, Steve posts a video online of their whole DnD group sitting in a basement that truly looks like a nerd dungeon, Eddie narrating some dramatic twist in the plot over a cacophony of shouts from the players. The camera turns back to look at Steve rolling his eyes with a smile, Robin, Nancy, Jonathan, and Argyle on a couch in the background. The video is captioned "Dorks and Doofuses night".
People from a lot of different fan groups freak out: the entire Corroded Coffin band, tech genius Dustin Henderson, NASA scientist Erica Sinclair, basketball star Lucas Sinclair, DnD illustrator Will Byers, and a few people unrecognizable to the public are seated at the table, and behind the camera are award-winning photographer Jonathan Byers, linguist expert Robin Buckley, weed CEO Argyle, and investigative journalist Nancy Wheeler. All just hanging out there. In Steve and Eddie Munson's basement.
The internet EXPLODES.
Bonus: Just think about Steve being the hottie house husband who is exasperated but also endlessly endeared by Eddie's nerd chaos. He brings everyone drinks and baked goods throughout every session. Think about it.
Bonus-Bonus: Steve opens the newest conspicuously large package that has been delivered to their house. He sighs, staring at the giant custom-built monster head. "Eddie!"
A crashing noise sounds from upstairs. "IS IT HERE?"
