Penny Redesign

You’d think that a character like Penny who gets a new hairstyle for almost every timed quest, she’d get a new hairstyle for her post Hogwarts design. Yet it’s just her regular hairstyle with just one braid removed?

Well, here I am again with another hairstyle redesign for Penny. JC gives Penny braids in all her designs, so to keep the tradition there’s a braid in all these styles.

You may recognize the first hairstyle as the one I used for the Cardverse AU. It’s actually one of the alternate hairstyle designs I made for Penny’s Celestial Ball look. I just removed the braided bun from the design to keep the single braid. I feel like this hairstyle makes Penny look more mature.

For the second one, I honestly feel like JC could get a little experimental with Penny by making her braid tie into a bun and a low ponytail.

Now as much as I hate her Celestial Ball hairstyle, that took a bit of inspiration for the third design. For this one though I gave her bangs because she looked weird without any. I’m biased towards this design.

And the fourth one is a much more simpler design. In a way, I find it similar to Penny’s canon hairstyle just without the extra braids.

And that’s not all, I made outfit designs too.

Now personally, I actually don’t mind Penny’s outfit. I kinda like it, but I’ve seen some people complain about it where some said JC took everything about her character away. Now I didn’t think it was that bad, but it got me thinking of new outfits.

So I made four designs, three having an alternate version for the pants. And Penny is known to wear light blue, yellow and white so I tried to stick with those colors for these designs.

I like all the dresses, and the first and last alternate designs. The second design isn’t like the third one where it’s an overall dress worn over a top. It’s a one piece outfit.

My body is still aching and I haven’t been getting inspiration or motivation for drawings. But I was in a rush to make this despite the aches. Now will you all excuse me, I’m gonna go back on a break try to relax and hope I get inspiration soon!
