So I watched little shop of horrors a few nights ago, and I think I'm obsessed

Audrey2 is hilarious, the weedy nerd from ghost busters who turned into a dog is a good singer and actually really funny, and regular Audrey is sad and funny

every time a dentist tries to helpfully give me Basic Hygiene Tips it makes me want to give up entirely tbh. i brush twice a day and use a special mouthwash and floss every night and own a nice tongue scraper and what i get for my trouble is fillings and root canals and reminders to floss, the same thing i got in my wayward youth of sleeping all day and brushing once a week. why am i even bothering.

Is there a way to read all the comics in order? I have read a few out of order and love the characters but feel like I’m missing out

hellooo!! thank you so much for liking the characters and my stories!!! at the moment there's no set 'order' for any of my comics, whether they are for my various AUs or for starstruck's story

i've been meaning for months now to make a master post for my AUs, and as i've been working so much on starstruck's story lately (sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyy) i should probably also make one for her too. but as of right now, it's all just loose bits floating about my blog

that said, i think that the best "order" of the comics would likely always be in the order i released them. there is a clear chronological series of events in all my stories, but i definitely tend to release comics outside of that order

however, when i release a new piece- whether it's a comic, art piece, or even just text answer- i am keenly aware of exactly what i have revealed before, and what i'm revealing in each update. so while updates may not be in 'chronological order' of the story, they are in the order i hope will be satisfying for you as the reader, and an order that is satisfying for me to draw 😂

someone once pointed out that they felt most everything in my work (art, captions, tags) is incredibly intentional, and i was chuffed to see that, because i actually work quite hard to make sure it is 😂 i feel like this is a community that appreciates that sort of thing, so i've been endeavouring to make it an immersive experience for the folks who really wanna Go In on it? but if it ever gets pretentious or people genuinely hate it i'll obviously quit it omg;;

if you feel like something is not yet obvious or clear, there is quite a good chance it's not you missing out on something, but that it's intentionally being left vague to preserve some suspense! however if you ever want to check something like this and make sure i haven't revealed/answered something clearly somewhere, feel free to shoot me an ask and i can link you to any answers (if they exist)

until then, the current best way to find stuff 'in order' on my blog is by going through tags in chronological order. for starstruck in particular this is a little bit messy as there's also a lot of fanart or silly doodles that aren't Lore Related in her tag... maybe i should address that. it was all a bit sudden 😂

for now, the best i can really offer is a few of my tags with the chronological sorting feature added. let me know if this helps you find what you're looking for. otherwise like i said, always feel free to ask!

i was at the dentist appointment today and tell me why she complimented my teeth the whole time and you know ME miss “jeonghan tic tac teeth” to say i was geeked is an understatement. She said, and i quote “Most important your teeth are all so healthy no cavities anywhere and they are all in such a beautiful shapes” and i was like Ummm no do you see how the lateral incisor from the left is smaller and she said “You are so critical. Imagine if you had big square teeth it would clash with you image - Yours go naturally with your thin frame” LMFAOOOOO she said “vitak stas” to paint the picture better. she also commented how unusually sharp my canines are 🥰 And in the middle of the cleaning she stopped and said “You should wear contacts your eyes are so beautiful - what a rare and striking shade of blue” (i told her i do wear them usually but i’ve been staring at my laptop screen whole day and my eyes were hurting) 10/10 experience i always love going to the dentist maybe that’s why they love me too

#anyway at the end i was like Shiet i was supposed to ask her about her braces or invisalign but now it feels silly SO i got the trays for #teeth whitening. and she was like They are already white… and i said they can be whiter. SO… Let me have one vain moment miss sweet dentist #but i am so happy it really is quite rare in serbia to have ur all of your own teeth with no cavities no fillings nothing just all natural #bc dental hygiene here… People don’t gaf its sad #tt

okay the weirdest thing. in middle school my dentist showed me the xrays of my teeth and told me that i was missing one adult tooth (it's just not there) so i will have to get dentist help to make sure there's no gap between my adult teeth when it falls out

except. i'm 23 and it has not been a problem. did. did that tooth just never fall out. do i still have one (1) baby tooth. what.

#i don't like explaining my art because like you should form your own opinions and stuff but this one is literally about my dental problems #that i am having right now as well as generally throughout my life #i have weak teeth (and bones) (that's why i can't get lip piercings though i really want to) #i had a really good dentist that i frequented before moving to a different city and it would be very difficult to see him now #and he has all my history like where i had nerves removed and all that and there's a lot and i don't remember all of it #and recently i got a gum infection #and i hoped it would go away on its own (based on nothing) #because i don't take care of myself until i have choice #maybe it wouldn't have gotten so bad if i saw a dentist sooner who knows #so in the end i did see a new dentist and i was like it doesn't hurt that much it's probably not that bad #and she was like no this is actually very bad and it will take a lot of time and money to fix #i was kinda saving up for a new laptop but like that's not time sensitive unlike my teeth. i need those to eat #ive never been afraid of dentists as a kid but now their prices do fill me with dread #traditional art #my art #body horror #ink drawing

also though this dentist is genuinely the best dentist we've ever had.

she was really understanding about us having issues with toothpaste and we asked if she had any recommendations for alternatives we could try to see if those help and she gave us some options to look into so that's cool.

she also took our medical trauma into account and kept checking if we were okay throughout the appointment and asking if we needed to take breaks and we've never had a dentist do that before.

she warned us about what each tool would feel like too and actually warned us if something was going to be painful which like, I would in fact rather be warned that "this is going to be uncomfortable in this way" and "yeah this is gonna feel really bad for a few days but that's normal" than have someone try to reassure us that it won't be that bad only for it to get really painful.

our next appointment is to have a tooth removed and she explained the procedure to us and how that normally goes, and then we asked if we can take the tooth home afterwards and I can only assume from the look on her face that she's never been asked that before, but she was like "yeah I don't see why not, it is yours after all" so that's cool

#personal #thoughts #🍬 post #happy posting #I am really glad she warned us that our mouth would be sore because holy shit she was not kidding #but also we've never had a filling that blends in so well with the rest of the tooth. you can't tell there's a filling there when you look #she put so much work into it and got us to check it before we left to make sure the texture was okay #it took twice as long as the appointments we've had for fillings in the past #we're so used to having dentists just kind of rush to get everything done and being really shitty about our anxiety #which like admittedly I am probably still gonna have issues with medical trauma stuff later because that's just how that is #but holy shit it's such a relief to have a dentist who very clearly wants to make you as comfortable as possible #and is obviously taking your trauma and health problems into account the entire time #we're also used to going to one appointment and the medical professional being great #but then being shitty in the next appointment once they realise we have complicated problems and trauma and stuff #but no she was just as nice and accommodating as last time which is gonna help a lot with feeling less anxious next time I think
