God if I had the skills to animate. I would have made an animatic for brozone to the song Bones by Sail North. It's such a good sea shanty and just imagining the boys as a pirate crew is adorable. Floyd and Clay having WAY too much fun swinging on the ropes. The outfits being similar but different from bro to bro. Their hair having little braids. They look roughed up and dirty (like dirt and grease and stuff on their skin). Ugh, and I keep listening to it bc it's such a good song 😮‍💨

The symbol of the Moriarty family is the red rose, but when William James Moriarty orders a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to 221B Baker Street the day after the night he is to die, roses are entirely absent from the bouquet.

It is instead composed of rainflowers, baby blue eyes and purple milk-vetch, surrounded by mixed rue and butterfly weed.

Sherlock isn't there to receive it.

Mycroft is there instead, disappointed when the person who arrives is not the man he ordered to not die. He accepts the bouquet even though it is clearly meant for Sherlock, and he takes the time to look up the meanings of the flowers.

"You are my one and only," is the meaning of the little baby blue eyes, and Mycroft shakes his head at it. "I love you back. I must atone for my sins," is what the rain flower is intended to say, and Mycroft wonders what Sherlock would have said to those messages.

The rue is relatively simple: "Regret and repentance."

The last two flowers take quite a bit longer to look up. The purple milk-vetch is not a common English flower; it's been imported from China, and while Sherlock does have a book that includes it, it is not close at hand. "Your presence softens my pain," is what he works out, eventually.

The butterfly weed is American, an orange fire mixed in with the yellow rue of regret, and this, too, is obscure. It takes Mycroft time to find. "Let go of your grief," it commands.

Mycroft shakes his head, and lets his wounds settle in his gut, burning coals of anger and sorrow deep inside of him, and wonders how William James Moriarty has so thoroughly miscalculated his last action.

As if a Holmes would ever take orders from a flower. ** I cannot art.

upgraded ttv concept... ig

so I started this a couple weeks ago and spent HOURS on jt but I had to do the head and torso on different canvases because of lag and I made a really fucking embarrassing mistake too far in so this is scrapped. Absolutely gutted abt it because I was so excited to draw my favourite boye but of course, I'm a complete fuck up. Anyway this is what I made, I'm not gonna finish it or re-try

all of my dumb little upgrade concepts can be found in text on the Cinemaman page on the Skibidi Toilet Wiki. What's clearly visible in this anyway is the extra screens, core protection, shoulder blasters and funky little flame designs.

if you didn't know i have a not-uraichi bleach blog (@hollowbait) and today i decided that i'm just gonna reblog all ichigo and urahara posts here while my non-uraichi blog will have non-uraichi urahara and ichigo ships and all other bleach posts.

Fandom can be a scary place. Especially big fandoms. There's so much to read, so much to see, so many people who all seem to know each other. It's easy to get overwhelmed.

But then there are people like you. People who are so passionate about fic and art and our silly little blorbos. People who reach out into the community and elevate other people. People who love fandom and support writers and artists and podficcers and mood-board makers and don't spend so much time talking about how good other people are.

I joined Drarry fandom close to three years ago? Maybe? And was both spoiled and overwhelmed by all the creations people had made. There are so many good things given to me, for free. It was a wealth of riches.

One of those creators is @sitp-recs. Now, she's not as active as she used to be, real life being an absolute bitch to us all, but Liv has given hours and hours of her time to the HP community in the two years since she started her blog.

Recs aren't easy. I've done some here and there and it's one thing to read a fic and leave a quick comment (looks at all the times I've typed 'this is amazing/gorgeous/perfect/insert your platitude here') but Liv had always taken that a step further and that just amazes me.

Liv has done individual fic recs, themed rec lists, has been a resource for fic finding, and she's done it all while being a person who has a life outside of fandom.

Somehow (I have no idea how I am so fortunate) I've gotten to know Liv over the last year-ish and let me tell you, she's not only a good fandom friend, she's genuinely a good person. She's funny and snarky when needed, kind all of the time, and her heart is so big it makes mine ache. She loves with all of her heart, and it shows in every rec post she's made and every interactionshe has with her friends. Liv is generous and has given the fandom so much.

So thank you, Liv. Thank you for everything you've done. I'm so honored to know you and call you my friend. You're a lovely, beautiful person and all of our lives are better because of you.

I've always called fic reccers curators of fandom, and everything you've done for us has solidified that statement.

Sorry for the random message i just wanted to ask how you got such zoomed in and nice quality screenshots of your Diablo 4 character because it looks really good!

Hi there! First off thank you so much for the kind words! 🥰

I use MSI Afterburner to monitor my computers internal function and it comes with a lovely screenshot/video capture function. I take hundreds of screenshots during cutscenes. 😅. Then I load them into a suuuuper old program, Paint Shop Pro 8 that I've legit had the disc since 2003. I guard it with my life.

Afterward I sift through them one at a time and use the tools in it to fix the lighting and skintone washout issues that comes from lightening normally dark photos. I crop them down to the detail I want and make little tweaks so that they look natural.

So that's my process. Thanks for asking!

people are drawing Steamboat Willie Mickey doing all this crazy shit and whatnot, but you could always do that. you can do that now, with current Mickey, just fine. it's fanart and it's legally protected. hell you could take Disney-drawn Mickey and put a caption about unions or whatever on it and it would still be protected under free speech and sometimes even parody law.

what is special about public domain is that you can SELL him. you could take a screenshot and sell it on a tshirt. you can use him to advertise your plumbing business. people have already uploaded and monetized the original film.

you could always have Mickey say what you want, but now you can profit off it.
