um. uh. hi every body. something evil and malevolent happened in my brain this month.

this is. um. a Jet Set Radio/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Death joke AU, spawned out of a in-joke that started in a pokepasta discord. my apologies to both the pokepasta and jsr fandoms

the entire basis is the idea that Corn in Future retconned og JSR Beat as leader/founder of the GGs (is beat being leader in the og even CANON?) so Corn and Beat are the Myras. no it's not a joke funny enough to justify how many hours i sunk into drawing these. no attempt was made to change the setting, assign most of the other cast, or otherwise make this au hold up to ANY amount of scrutiny. if i tried to make this actually work somehow then i'd REALLY end up too far gone. also i keep calling myrtle!beat "Meat".

Like in Seattles Going Under it was lost in a vague fight or something, but in art w/ the resonance cascade he lost it prolly during the ambush? hehe youre observant and actually right on the money. yup!  so essentially i just have different eye trauma head canons for whichever version of freemind im drawing; since he doesnt actually lose his eye in canon, its up to everyone to fil in the blanks if they wanna use the popular headcanon. i wrote .  a good chunk of stuff .  so i put it under the cut . but heres a picture to be like a . tldr

I sorta like his eye already being gone before the resonance cascade (in a non-freemanverse scenario). he does verbally say something like "my eyes" in the series, indicating he has two, BUT . well.  its a headcanon. so we can have fun with it . my eye loss pre-rescas freemind stems from my original freemind design (before i ever started posting half-life on the internet) where he had short hair, but i needed a way to distinguish him from og gordon, so I used thr popular one eye headcanon. then I realized him losing his eye bc of the military goes perfectly with martini losing an arm. that bothered me for a while until i realized i could just have multiple freemind designs + headcanons. if theres different variations of Gordon  and martini, why can't there be some of Freemind as well? grins grins

i left it open ended in my SGU because people have their own headcanons and I thought anyone could just fill in their own. if I did every make a canon eyeloss event prequel thing, he would've lost his eye during college in some sort of either freak accident (like tripping on something and injuring himself bad; I like this one because he'll lie and say he was in a fight) or, like u said, a fight . for SGU, college was a low point in his life of him struggling with freedom from his parents for the firsr time, but them and their ideals still holding him hostage. he is simultaneously more repressed and more emotionally volatile than present!gordon. then, when his parents die, hes just given a clusterfuck of emotions. so why dont we add physical trauma? whatever the sgu canon event eye loss was, it was definitely related to substance abuse issues. whether that be he was high/drunk and got into an accident, or fought someone... not sure! yet. the only thing that i can say was that no fire or chemicals were involved, since his tearduct is (unfortunately for him) wholly in tact!

but for freemanverse!freemind, he should lose his eye during the rescas since its like thematic and stuff if (almost) every Gordon Loses Something. also, angst. whenever I draw freemanverse (even in a domestic setting) in my head, i always think of them surviving the rescas together! i have. convoluted freemanverse headcanons. the eye loss is an important freemanverae event because, like martini, it gives him a valid reason to REALLY dislike benrey (but in my au, benrey isnt the big bad, so he "redeems" himself kinda sorta) . and then it ALSO opens up freemind to be upset and vulnerable, which allows him to bond with his fellow freemen.

also I want barmey to tend to his wounds and call his scar(s) badass. im not immune to buttermind and i never was.

honorable mention: sims freemind, who has both eyes physically but only can see from one. this is due to me unable to properly texture a glasses + eyepatch combo, that and i have no experience with 3d modelling (I did try!).

i hope this is a satisfying enough infodump!! I'm sorry if it's a bit vague; a lot of my ideas tend to be fluid. i also like taking inspiration from what other people think! some of you guys are way super smart and have awesome ideas. i am not immune to well articulated essays and thought out headcanons

Hey! I'm a little confused here, what exactly is the difference between Lusttale and Underlust?

I know you said it's a revamp of sorts but I'm just genuinely confused on what the differences are.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly are the icks you have with Underlust that originally made you want to redo this AU? I've only ever really seen either the decent aspects of it or the fanon versions so I don't really know most of people's issues apart from the... Weird thing about Chara being in.. That kinda clothing.

Differences i wanted were these:

- Make the storyline more fluid and organized, idk felt like the og story rushed through to try and reach certain parts sooner

- Flesh out characters past the sexual deviant who have random, often uncalled for bursts of angst ( or just have ZERO self control )

- I tried to make some characters make better sense. Example, Chara and their trait/design, the reason for Frisk even going, ect - Give background characters a chance to be shown, not saying the WHOLE au with EVERY monster has to be designed, but its atleast nice and feels more detailed ( even Jerry eyeroll )

^ The AU also switched between being owned by the creator, to the creators mutual ( iirc ), to then being a community owned AU since the OG owner left it for mental health reasons. I originally wanted to continue the story, but rebuilding characters in a way it still resembles the original story with a few kind of tweaks helps it feel new, think like Ink Sans's redesign!

These were icks:

- Some characters had almost nothing fleshed out abt them, i totally understand why some dont (hard to flesh out a entire cast, some characters dont give enough to build off of, ect) but its personality stumping if the character is only shown for a sex joke or be background characters to another angst, example Alphys, shown very little unless to comment on MTT's body, or to be the one to help him (MTT one IS important but after that i barely remember her character outside that..) - I know that separating creator from creation is best way to go about some things, though knowing that they heavily shipped Fontcest (which their own AU was prone to have) and had done nsfw Frans art is gross enough for me to wanna not engage with the original au (small non UL related was a Nazi Chara they drew once, shockvalue humor or not why would you?)

- MTT's plot. I really hate how it went. Its not something im gonna remove, but its something i wanna try and do in a way that doesnt feel so abrupt yk? If that makes sense :,D

Other then the few points i can really give, i also just thought it would be nice to give UL a fresh coat of paint. Not like "i took things into my own hands", but just "this made me and alot uncomfortable, the AU is kinda just sitting there, lets try it " !

I’m curious about your reasoning for why midam when they share a body and/or have vessels that are identical(?) and based on Adam is okay, but not if Michael is either using John as a vessel (assuming it’s only the body and John himself is not in there too) or just looks like John in AUs and such. Is it just personal squick?

(Speaking as someone who’s been shipping midam for a while. John as Michael’s vessel was pretty common pre-the s15 reveal, especially in AUs, where it’s just a hot face to give to the archangel we want Adam to kiss. Nothing wrong with disliking it, but I like hearing new opinions on this ship and comparing them to the conversations people have been having about it for a while.)

Lustale/Lusttale?

Okay, so i kinda cooked up abit of a lore idea id want for the au, some is loosely taken from what i roughly remember of the og au, since i do want to create this au in the sense of my own, im calling it Lusttale/Lustale (can be spelt either way just the extra 'T' makes it look cluttered)

I will make it clear that the au will be 16+ instead of 18+, only due to the topics at hand!! i dont own the original concept of Underlust, reason why im calling Lustale and saying its my au instead of a 100% variant, is because im gonna be putting alot of my own lore, personalities, ect into these guys!! Think like how theres alot of Swapfells with their own plot/idea <33 Tho keep in mind suggestive stuff will be a thing in it I will also make it very clear that just because the AU itself is a revamp of Underlust, Frisk is asexual like the original, and Chara is aromatic! They are more disgusted in the world around them then wanting to be involved, and i will age range them between 17-19 so they are mentally mature to avoid issues within the au!! Chara keeps Frisk safe and in my spin, Chara only causes genocide when they deem fit Onto the lore i have so far

- Toriel either couldn't or didnt want children - At some point though, Asgore and Toriel tried for a child after falling inlove, but they couldnt create one - They decided to try and create a artificial monster soul, that was a combination of their own souls, or atleast abit of them (think how Alphys made artificial determination) to create a soul to place into something? ( or to try and create a child within Toriel, via absorbing somehow ) - The soul one day ended up breaking/dying, which broke Toriel and Asgores' heart, they sprinkled the soul bits into a flower field, which created Flowey (may keep that he is a rose ), this was also the cause of the breakup since they decided its best to split then to argue on if its one or the others fault for why the soul broke (in reality, its because of it being artificial ) - However, when a human fell, their soul was instead Passion (thinking that maybe Passion replaces Perseverance ) - Passion affected the underground, this is only because at the time Alphys wanted to try and mess with this soul, and tried to create a artificial version of this as well, because Passion to everyone was some romantic peaceful thing - However, while doing this, it corrupted the substance. Turning it from Passion, to desire/lust. And that pretty much concludes the beginning!! The AU itself wont be focused on the rout of how Undertale or even how Underlust went, its more of just a au that ill use for fun!!! if you have questions or are curious on how ill do headcanons feel free to ask :)

Compatibility: They can end up looking a little creepy, but they don't mean to be! They just have a really big grin/smile and their face can move a little odd, something they share with their Dad(William)! Though unlike their sibling types, they just picked it up! So not all of them have the wide smile! But most of them do!

They have 0 filter and will say the most off the wall things at random, but you never have to worry about them hiding things from you! Since they can't really lie very well-

Things rarely bother them, and the only time it does is when someone they care about is being bullied/picked on! And since they find it hard to tell the difference between being playful and being mean(at first a least, they'll get used to it after they get to know the person/bitty well) it means they can get a little huffy with people sometimes, but they'll always listen to explinations!

They can be a little clingy once they get to know and care about someone, but if the other person/bitty wants to be left alone all they have to do is say so! Though they can often wonder what they did wrong but also have a bit of a habit of not asking if they did something wrong or not and internalizing it,

They are known for hanging around Henry bitties, William bitties(non canon ones), Michael bitties, Elizabeth bitties, Evan bitties, and Justin bitties, and often refuse to be adopted without their family if they formed one!

Additional info: They love being around (only Chaos au versions of)William and Henry bitties and their siblings(Michael, Elizabeth, Evan, and Justin) and will often form families of these bitties at the shop!

Feeding habits: They aren't picky at all and will eat just about anything, and i mean anything- even moldy food, much to Henry and William bitty's dismays,

assuming this is talking about the little guy i post on occasion (pictures below) i do not mind talking about him AT ALL ! however this may get a bit long so ill leave it under the readmore <3

so his name is hu yinhai, hu from “butterfly”, yin for silver and hai for sea ^_^ i havent exactly gotten to making an anglicized version of his name just yet but i did call him dorian verglas at one point if that works !

hes one of those ocs where i kinda throw them into any au ideas i think up but his original backstory was that he was a fae and the prince of the winter court who trespassed into the human world on behalf of finding a cure for some sort of sickness harming his people. i had a whole google docs written for that and he fell in love with a dragon hybrid at the end (they are homosexual and in love). also his name used to be bai xuegui which is just white snow ghost. i was not very creative

nowadays i just draw him in modern aus where hes an influencer / pr agent 😭

a lot of his motifs have to do with butterflies + the colour blue because of the fact tht butterflies r commonly associated with corpses nd the dead, and i wanted to go for a kind of more traditional feeling for the faes in his og backstory so i associated the seasons with the stages of life and ofc yinhai was winter so he ended up getting the death motifs !

anyway. theres a lot more i have to say about him but it wont make sense out of context and the context is wayyy too hard for me to put into words, so … yeah, that’s basically it!! he is my little darling dear and you can find him in every one of three drawings on my papers

ok so im finally just gonna infodump about that dhmis au i just randomly started posting like a week ago almost, which ive just referred to as the dollhouse au. anyway infodumping under the cut lmao

so as i mentioned in the og comic for it, it was kinda inspired by ‘inside a mind’s theory abt the dhmis webseries but likeeee mostly for the aspect of red guy being the main focus + having some level of responsibility irt the situation, but anyway i mention this since its the basis of this au more or less

so the trio were all humans once, & were all connected in some sort of way. i havent determined the extent of their relationships but they def knew each other, and werent like borderline strangers. in my mind, red & duck were coworkers + friends (and potentially working on getting to be more than that, but never got there) and red & yellow had a familial, brotherly type of relationship (ive tossed around the possibility of them being maybe step-brothers or smth like that, idk like i said i havent determined the extent so take that w/ a grain of salt)

(also fyi yellow’s an adult & is younger than both red & duck by a somewhat significant amount, but he’s def just a neurodivergent adult man. theres not any plot significance, i just figured i’d say lol)

now these 3 definitely all have struggles in their lives, some of which have been reflected in the show (red’s inability to connect with others ‘like him,’ duck not actually liking being alone, yellow having a poor relationship w/ his dad, etc etc). their lives arent exactly horrible but its far from sunshine & daisies

(ive kinna debated the idea that maybe a significant event happened that negatively affected red in particular but idk i dont think i wanna make it melodramatic so lets just leave it as ‘their lives arent Perfect’ for now lol)

so at some point, red comes across an antique shop that’s never been there before, one that holds all of the puppet props as well as the dollhouse from the TV series, which red is given with the claim that it ‘belongs to him’ (& yes, the person that gives it to him is lesley). so red is just kinda like ‘ok ig’ & takes this totally normal dollhouse that won’t cause him problems in the future home w/ him. what could possibly go wrong

anyway i figure some time passes after he obtains the dollhouse but basically to make a short story shorter, he - & the other 2 - wind up getting trapped inside the dollhouse as puppets, so theyre stuck in there & then in the normal world theyre obvs labelled as missing. while they’re trapped in this dollhouse, they dont remember anything from their prev life - they do not remember being human, and they do not remember knowing each other as closely as they once did.

so before proceeding, i will say that in this au, both the webseries & the TV series occur in the timeline, & they do indeed occur one after the other, so the webseries is ‘season 1′ & the TV series is ‘season 2′ (& i think i will be referring to them as such throughout the rest of this dump bc its easier than specifying ‘webseries’ & ‘TV series’ each time lol)

so during s1, red guy is in ‘control’ - in the absolute loosest terms, bc obviously these puppets cant control SHIT, but all i mean by 'control’ is that their surroundings are reflective of a certain individual. in the case of s1, it is red. because of this, the trio is a little more self-aware (as red particularly was in s1), and they remember each incident that happens between episodes. obviously, things go downhill reaallllyyyy badly because red doesnt have a grip on anything, so we get some pretty nasty incidents. additionally, the world all around looks more realistic & uncanny while red has the reins

eventually, red accidentally leaves following dhmis 4, and this leads to him going into a version of the real world (obvs not the actual real world. whatever forces that have put him & his friends there aint done with him yet), which, as we all know, eventually leads to him pulling the plug on the world. now, he did this with the expectation that he & the other 2 would finally be free. but no, all it did was take the control out of his hands and put it into the hands of someone else

enter s2, i’m actually going to go ahead & say that ‘transport’ is the first thing that happens chronologically. so here we have red coming freshly out of s1′s events which were clearly traumatizing, and who also expected to be free of this hell puppet world only to find himself right back in the thick of it, so yeah, he’s a little on edge and stir crazy and wants to be free. but here’s the real kicker: none of them fully remember the events of s1. yellow & duck certainly dont, & red only has hints of feelings remaining from it, enough to make him frustrated, but not enough to remember the gory details. this is meant to be the hint that the ‘control’ has switched hands, since as i mentioned previously, they could remember what happened between incidents under red’s control. by the end of ‘transport’ whenever yellow reacts to hearing lesley’s voice, that’s the reveal in this au that yellow’s the next person to be ‘in control’

ways in s2 that show that yellow’s now control: things are definitely a lot softer, while still having their darker moments (compare this to yellow’s brain friends & how cute they were, then how that eventually went downhill) + the trio only have vague recollections of previous events (yellow evidently has some memory problems according to ‘friendship’), among other things. but basically, just judging on how the show treats yellow in s2, its reasonable enough to say in this au that he’s the next one in control of the dollhouse after red, who was evidently seen as an inappropriate fit

anyway thats about all i got atm lol, ive just been rotating this au in my brain for a while so i figured its abt time i like. actually write out most of the details gkjfhgjk. especially bc ppl seemed to like the lil drawings ive done for it, so < 3

ok so i think everyone in the band au can sing to some???? extent??? but like for some reason i feel like shion isn't allowed to, benkei, mochi, kisaki and koko (most of the time) dont wanna, seishu and hakkai get too embarrassed (esp cuz their older sisters would be recording the whe entire time), and shin isn't allowed to at party bcuz too many people would be moved to tears

but here's some brainrot on people who don't specialise in singing that sing:

akane has the voice of an angel but its very very strong as well. no body knows if she's ever been taught (and seishu won't spill nothing)

sanzu sings back up for kantou manji actually!! he's naturally got a gifted voice and senju curses him for that all the time

izana does some sets during smaller gigs with rokuhara and he's like really good, gorgeous gorgeous voice soothing amazing like chef's kiss

BUT SPEAKING OF AKANE SINGING. i imagine the song my immortal by evanescence (band version) with as her voice and listen listen. the three bands do this lil collab thingy where they all perform at a small club after this huge joint tour between the bands and each song they sing is always mix matched between the instruments and singers (and all the backstage crew is encouraged to join as well) so akane sings this song and yuzuha (i was gonna tell u abt her later on but its getting spilt a bit early hehe) plays the electric violin for this song, senju does back up, micchi does piano AND SEISHU DOES ELECTRIC GUITAR AND DRAKEN DOES DRUMS. imagining this in my head was so fucking fun i love it sm AND BONUS side stage the og black dragons are bawling their eyes out bcuz they love what has sprouted from their band

Sans - he’s much more energetic than og!sans, which caused a increase in his HP, which is now 680 HP. Sans is Deaf, and he always has been, but he never got the cochlear implants because he doesn’t want them. Sans does know American Sign Language, and so does a few other monsters, but he only uses ASL to communicate with Papyrus. Sans gets frustrated easily, and sometimes expresses it in unhealthy ways, like hitting his head(or skull)- Sans is demisexual and uses he/they pronouns, but mainly he/him. Sans is..kinda cold towards Frisk when they first meet, but he opens up later on!

Papyrus - Papyrus’ food is actually edible- He is learning ASL, and its going well! Papyrus doesn’t want to join the royal guard, EVER. He’s always around Sans for communication purposes. Papyrus is aroace and uses he/them. He is still friends with Undyne, and Undyne was actually the reason why Papyrus wants to become a chef when he gets on the surface!

Toriel - Toriel doesn’t fight Frisk when they wanted to leave the ruins, Toriel understands why. Toriel still loves Asgore, thats why she and Asgore decided that they needed a break until things work out. Toriel is straight and uses she/her.

Alphys - Alphys is really clumsy and very nervous, but she always tries her best! Alphys doesn’t beat herself up abt messing up anymore. Alphys is still a anime nerd and will always be hahahdmsks- Alphys is bisexual and uses she/her-

Undyne - Undyne knows that anime isnt real. Undyne uses she/they pronouns and is a lesbian <3 Undyne is..tough, but Undyne can get rlly nervous, like when you ask her how babies r made. Undyne was the one who got Papyrus interested into culinary arts b/c Papyrus didnt rlly do anything except clean when Sans didnt need communication and take care of the humans that fell, so yeah-

Mettaton - Mettaton wont ask you if you would smooch a ghost b/c thats super weird- Mettaton is transgender(he/him) and he is demiromantic <3 Mettaton doesn’t like to talk only abt themselves. Mettaton’s show is all about quizzes with less severe consequences, the quizzes cover a lot of topics too!

Napsblook - he’s pretty social, but not too social b/c introvert vibes- Napsblook is aromatic, and he uses he/they pronouns(mainly he/him)- Napsblook doesn’t mind being called Blooky by anyone. Napsblook isn’t on Mettaton’s show b/c of the noises and lights, so he helps Alphys in the lab instead b/c he doesn’t mind watching the show on TV since the lights are less bright and the sounds are less loud- Napsblook does have a vessel but its a lot smaller than Mettaton due to lack of resources </3

Frisk - Frisk is one of the few humans who tried to communicate with Sans. Frisk isn’t used to people being nice to them b/c of his home life. Frisk is genderqueer and uses any pronouns, including neopronouns, and ze is demisexual. Frisk had a crush on a cute Deaf girl but she was murdered.

Chara - Chara is blind, and they were lead to the mountain by their so called friends. Chara is nonbinary, and they are questioning their sexuality- Chara was born on October 31st, 1992 & the year is 2003, so Chara is 11 years old. Chara fell at 8 years old. Chara uses Asriel as their seeing-person. Chara got cancer and they weren’t able to beat cancer due to lack of medical stuff required to help fight cancer.

Asriel - Asriel is really shy and timid at first, but he opens up if you’re deemed not a threat! Asriel is sensitive to sound, and how Asriel copes with really loud noises can vary, but the common reaction for Asriel is hitting someone that is the closest to Asriel. Asriel(and Flowey) is 11, like Chara. Asriel uses he/them, and Azzy is bisexual. Azzy is Asriel’s nickname

Flowey - he’s a lil shit, but they do get nervous when Chara is mentioned, b/c he and Azzy are the same person.

Asgore - Asgore doesn’t want to hurt anyone anymore, but he has no idea how to tell Toriel that he doesn’t want war anymore.

I change day to day cause I like different scenarios THOUGH I have to say i’m a fan of secrets and guilt and some angst here and there haha. Let me ramble unstructuredly and let is see where it takes us.

I do think the long term subway employees kinda know or just feel that its true? And they don’t really care - the bosses are good people, fair enough bosses, pretty enthusiastic and hardworking, but mostly take on extra stuff themselves (probably cause they want to?) but that usually leads to the other employees wanting to even out the work load and things get done pretty efficiently in the end. I don’t think the lads ever let the employees know explicitly - they’re pretty crisp and professional after all. But maybe they feel like the employees don’t know when they do lol.

Their friends kinda know too I guess, but yknow I don’t know much about how it feels to want to be lovey dovey in public :think_emoji: I do think they’re not touchy at all with other people, but kinda naturally touchy with each other in incredibly casual ways? And that it’s sort of like a life long thing they’ve developed even in the start with their brotherly relationship. Though I do think they are aware of some ways other people view touch. Sometimes they don’t think about it though.

I think in OG age difference AU, Yemmet is more obviously into Oingo, I mean in the sense like INGO is BACK and I will LOOK at him and you cant stop me!!! and Old Ingo is just, Oh? heheh :) THOUGH He does like propriety and professionalism in the subway, EMMET Please Behave! I don’t think in this AU they’re that secretive if they had a bit of a lovey relationship pre-disappearance. This will get way too long if I try and live-think about confession post-PLA so let’s move on for now o3o

I think in reverse!agesAU, they aren’t keeping it a secret neither I think - but they’re pretty private about it. They’re both worried they’re not right for the other, and like take a lot of steps getting closer in their own home. I think when they are more confident at accepting love from each other, they might go on low key private dates, or far away trips so they can enjoy each other’s company doing new things.

I do enjoy the idea that it just feels so natural to them that for a bit they didn’t even think about the progression? They have always liked to snuggle, they always do everything together, and their twinliness as youths made them look pretty cute and endearing to most people. I mostly think about them as 30+ year old men haha so my ideas about them as teens are limited, but thats always such a transitional stage yeah?

Ingo feeling guilty or worried about scorn hurting his brother... I love it. Make him feel guilty!!!  (check out ‘in a gray area’ by anon OAO!) Ahaha if we go with that version of Ingo, I like thinking that they already kind of in the ‘vague zone’ of a relationship, and he maybe tries to put some distance between them. Which in turn upsets Emmet, and that upsets Ingo, then they just get pulled back stronger into their twin star orbits.

I think in reverse!agesAU, Ingo is actually the one to initiate some of their stuff. Mostly in talking though and actively spending time with Emmet (who’s like, oh yeah I forgot how to do that). Though I do subscribe to what @belltrigger said in collar where they haven’t been physically close for a bit after Ingo gets back (in any sense of that, and Emmet initiates in that fic).

I could live think more but it will get long! Cause im indecisive and enjoy exploring different versions!

Svtfoe: an AU where Toffee took care of Star instead of Moon, and Moon was in the hiding.. dont really remember much. Also remember that in the end it was planned for Star to change course of universe to get back her chidlhood and family, but by doing so she erased her current universe.

reasons for cancelling: I assume it just ended abruptly because I got busy with other things and then deleted my blog. why cant bring the idea back: mentally not the same as I was back when I worked on that AU, and probably, maybe also because I cant remember a lot of stuff and my priorities changed. Also I dont really like that AU because im no longer can portray Toffee as nice and I feel it was too flawed as a story

Friday Night Funkin:

An AU idea where Senpai was Girlfriend’s comfort character when she was a child. And that Senpai was different from the OG unirvse version: he felt geniune connection to Girlfriend and was loyal to her and was emotionally attached to her (platonically). There was no story, it was a standalone concept for which I wanted to draw fanart. I guess the origin idea was that Gf’s parents could do magic things since they were demons, and by using their demonic powers they created a sentient entity within a videogame that was supposed to be dark and demonic like them but Senpai didnt do anything demonic he just warmed up to girlfriend and felt the emotional attachment growing because Gf spent many nights playing that same date simulator to comfort herself. Girlfriend never knew that Senpai was sentient.

reasons for cancelling: I dont know, I various things. including me feeling this idea feels hypocritic of me to make.

why cant bring the idea back: guilt- but part of me considers to make a drawing with Senpai from this au

an AU idea where Boyfriend is an edgy rock enthusiast and Girldfriend is a jpop singer. Rock people look down on anime and jpop lovers and call them cringy etc., and jpop lovers call rockers edgy and mean and its a very wide popular stereotype from both sides, which caused a lot of antagonization of each party. Despite this all Boyfriend and Girlfriend never hated each other; they fell in love and geniunely liked each other. The idea was meant to represent my experience with 2000s trends and the whole ‘cringe culture’, where everyone scoffed at those who liked cute and anime things. And also the idea that not all 2000 rock likers and edgy people are mean to jpop likers and that even while being edgy one can geniunely respect and love someone with interests that are stereotyped as “hated” by the group of people you belong to. Also part of me wanted to pay respects to the ones I used to know who loved jpop and anime idol things and who were bullied for it.

SvtFOE:

A story idea dedicated to ludoffee ship. Basically an AU where Toffee was brought back to life after the events of canon and Ludo and Toffee somehow make up after everything. The ship was supposed to be more like a constructive development of the two instead of romanticising toxicity. There were meant to be ups and downs from both sides, aka Ludo still struggling to trust Toffee, Toffee still acting uncaring, Ludo still trying to get a wand and spiralling back into his abusive self. In all honesty I planned to make it as follows: First Toffee goes through character development and has to deal with his past actions, but around the times when Toffee settles down and starts to change his view on things, Ludo starts to act up and do wrong things and then it becomes more about Ludo needing to tackle his inner demons to make things better for the two of them. I even wrote a rough script in a separate document for some situations. Toffee was meant to star doubting himself and feeling like he starts lying again but not being sure about it. As Toffee starts to geniunely like Ludo, Toffee gets more sad because he starts to realize that he is the only one who sees Ludo as someone great whereas the rest of the world laughs at him, and that was supposed to upset Toffee and bug him a lot, mixed with load of guilt for having been the same way as those who look down on Ludo. 

In one of my drafts, Toffee was going to leave the castle for a bit, to go out and think over whats going on in his head, but when he tried to inform Ludo about, Ludo wasnt listening well and that led to a huge nasty misunderstanding, and the fact that Toffee was planning to travel at the time when a fight happened, made the misunderstanding worse: Ludo thought that Toffee hated him and was going to leave for good. But in reality Toffee was just going to clear his mind and not because of Ludo. And in one scene where Toffee was sitting in a train and looking out of the window he was thinking about what if he was lying about his feelings. Somewhere at the end he decided to retire and get some of his belongings in his old septarian camp-like place, and at the time Ludo was rushing in to get Toffee back and thought that Toffee is going to be a general again and is going to go into war, and they stumble upon each other. It was supposed to be a humorous part but i still havent figured out how to portray it in a funny way besides Ludo screaming something like “Im sorry ! Please dont go back to military!” and Toffee standing confused with bags in his hands and saying “What do you mean? I am retiring.” There were more sketches aka 

Toffee: Thats odd. We are still losing to the princess even though I geniunely try to help you this time.

Ludo: /gloomily/ Plot armor.
