There are a handful of lines that I feel are important™ when analyzing or understanding Halsin as a character, but I think the one that sums him up best is, very simply, the Dryad's: "Halsin: nature's gentle steward - and furious defender."

I hated my coaching but if i reflect back i had some moments I'm no longer urging for going into that field but here's some tea for y'all

My coaching was regarded as one of the best in my area but as soon as I entered there I got a kabristaan feeling , long alleyway, dead looking people as if someone killed each one with a dagger .

The seniors were so airy headed everyone looked so malnourished.

The first class was bio it was fun i liked it , then we had a physics class i wanted to die on the spot.

We had 2subjects per day, the second day zoology was great , chem was also great but but but the very next class chem teacher started behaving like a rag doll.

Chem teacher was sleepy and , i would never😭 say things to a person based on their looks but , he belittled me a lot so here it goes he was a platypus 🙇

Next botany teacher , he was initially nice to me , but the second year 😆 he couldn't stand me because i was very outspoken and has strong opinions, he was just idk weird

The worst experience was with my organic chem teacher he was young and used to call me names sometimes, one day he went on fat shaming me i spoke up to his face he started doing it more , saying mai tumhare bhale ke liye hi keh raha hoon , chal matchstick let's kushti larte hai ( p.s maybe my weight lifting medals will help) also he was so Proud and said Bengali mithais aren't tasty idiot !

Physics has 2 teachers , teacher 1 Was a sleepy black mamba, 2 nd teacher oh my lord i wanted to hit him with a brick, he was such a idk what to say , first of all iski padhai kuch samajh aati nhi thi mujhe , doosri baat ye engineering ke class mei Jake bolta tha medical ki ladkiya budbak hai , yes man you should complain about students to other students rather than helping them improve 🙏 .

Their was a math teacher we didn't study math , but he used to talk to us , one day i was doing phys sums in the class and he saw i was doing something wrong , he got on my shoulder from the back side and started writing in my copy to this day idk if he is a friendly person or this was something else.

The best person was my zoology teacher noble man extremely good will forever respect him 👑, he exactly understood my curiosity and whenever I asked questions he always had answers, also he thought I was the most intelligent so 😆🙏not to brag but yes it made me so happy.

Then the receptionist, what a Gaslighter , i wanted to stop coaching in the middle of 12 , she gaslighted me to coming for two months more , saying " bachha we have so many hopes from you , and shit and shit " but finally my naive brain moved oh and blocked her .

The caretaker bhaiyas were amazing, although i once shouted at one 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 about which im sorry because of exam anxiety and fear 🙏hope he forgave me , the other bhaiya was a student and very intelligent, hope a blessed life for them .

Now the good parts

We were a girl group of 4 , us being , E , S , P & T(me) , we were unhinged 💀 , every break time we went out , the classes were in the evening so and had food , chowmin, momos , bhelpuri etc etc , the teacher's were fed up of us because 😆 it wasn't allowed.

E is extremely talented ,S is lovely, she is very friendly as well , P is like a sister we all want , tbh i love them so much i can't describe them . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We all got the first test results i was so sad they sang songs for me and I'll forever love em .

I never scored the highest because 💀 i didn't wanna go for medical and was gaslighted into thinking i wanted to do it , man it has become my trigger now .

The teachers day celebration was so amazing its my fav memory , we all were happy maybe for the first time .

The children's day was my most most favourite because they fed each one of us biryani, all in all bas biryani hi thik thi ╮(╯_╰)╭ Baki sab insan elaichi ke bacche the .

The place was on the 3 rd floor so we used to gossip in the balcony at night and the sky was so pretty i felt calm for such a small time.

There's just one senior G, she adored me so much and used to say i was the most interesting, i don't believe it but omg i just love her , she got a gold medal, for studying this year so happy for her ! 💖

ooc. this ended up somewhat disjointed, but I have to put my thoughts somewhere. Diluc headcanon/meta/general rambling below the cut because it got pretty long.

I was looking over the manga again and got reminded of this:

It's so easy to miss even when there's a whole panel dedicated to highlighting it, because it's such a small detail, but that's a partial Fatui symbol on Diluc's mask. Seeing it again got me thinking about why it's there in the first place, especially since the full page and the next couple after it carry some implications if you stop and think about what Dottore says for a moment. I don't wanna make this post too long just due to images, so I'll type the dialogue here instead:

Dottore: "But the loss of this menial...is happily balanced out by this unexpected finding. That 'Vision' you're wearing is indeed interesting. Diluc: "What? What are you saying?" Dottore: "I'd love to indulge in this some more, but that's it for now. Keep up the good work and hone your unimpressive powers. Farewell. I can see...a bright future ahead of you."

Here, it's obvious Dottore knows things Diluc doesn't, despite the fact that this is after Diluc has returned to Mondstadt—meaning after he wrecked Fatui strongholds left and right for years in search of vengeance and information on delusions, and after he joined a secret intelligence organization. Despite all his efforts and connections, there's still so much information he doesn't have, meanwhile Dottore sure just implied something.

Back to the mask. It's Fatui-made, or else it wouldn't have that symbol, and thus it likely came with the delusion as a set. We also know from Crepus' words just prior to the attack that he once intended to give the delusion to Diluc as a gift. This leads to two main possibilities, and both could be true:

That theory of a mask being required to safely use a delusion is somehow true, and/or...

Along with the delusion, that mask in particular was intended specifically for Diluc, because it being an owl mask is a little too on the nose to ignore.

Now this got me thinking even further, because why would Diluc be given a custom mask when he (as far as we know) had no ties to the Fatui at that point? You could argue that since we don't know for certain how Crepus obtained the delusion in the first place, he may simply have paid for it and the mask and asked that the mask be custom-made with Diluc in mind.

But that's the boring answer, and it doesn't match up with Dottore's implications, nor does it match with Barnabas being so shocked that Diluc possessed a delusion. If the Fatui were willing to hand out delusions to just anyone in exchange for large sums of mora back then, it wouldn't be that much of a shock, right?

There's also the popular theory that Crepus was a former member of the Fatui and/or a former Harbinger, and that's how he got the delusion at some point. It's a fun theory, and it could very well be true, but I'm iffy on it tbh. Something about it just doesn't quite fit to me. (This is also mostly me trying not to just jump on the bandwagon and copy a popular headcanon, so if you like that theory, please don't let me stop you from enjoying it!)

My own thoughts ran away from me yesterday, and I decided to look into something. As someone who also writes Childe, I've looked into commedia dell'arte stuff before. Since many of the typical commedia characters reference certain animals for inspiration in some way, I decided to dig deep and see if I could find any reliable information regarding any of them referencing an owl.

Boy, when I tell you that my jaw fucking dropped. Tartaglia is often likened to an owl, and I have no idea how I didn't come across that information before now. In hindsight, it explains why in one of the pre-release betas, Childe was the one with the Noctua constellation rather than Diluc. But this along with every other breadcrumb combined thus far gave me a fun little idea.

What if Diluc was meant to take up the title of Tartaglia before Crepus' death cemented his hatred of the Fatui, and Childe took the spot instead, in part only because Diluc never did? What if Crepus made a desperate deal with the Fatui when Diluc was young, so hung up on his need to live vicariously through his son's success that he was willing to hand Diluc over to them when he came of age, lured in with the promise that Diluc would have ample power and never want for anything as a Harbinger? They even offered an experimental delusion without explaining all the risks, both as a means of dangling a proverbial carrot and creating a means for them to observe what will happen when it's inevitably used.

But then Diluc gained a vision on his own, and later soared through the ranks in the Knights of Favonius. He didn't need the Fatui to thrive and succeed, and thus Crepus ultimately backed out of the deal...and paid the price.

It always did strike me as a little odd that the attack on Crepus and Diluc felt like a hit, since it was triggered by a deliberately placed Fatui device. But if the Fatui had just received word that Crepus was backing out of a major deal that should have come to fruition on Diluc's eighteenth birthday...it makes sense.

Dottore's cryptic implications also fit this idea, because that "bright future" could mean that he's aware of the whole deal and just waiting for the day that Diluc becomes a Harbinger anyway.

I’m kind of like Jaime and Cersei but tbh she cheats on him and calls on him when she needs him to do something for her. Calls him stupid, slaps him around, body Shames him I feel like she doesn’t really love him. She just needs someone to do things for her. What’s ur opinion on this ?

I mean, I do very much believe she loves him given that I ship them, haha. I also think that the way they both express their love isn't necessarily conventional, healthy or even good in the sense you'd apply to, like... literally any other circumstances but theirs.

Are we talking show or books? I feel like you mean books more than anything, and I think that 90% of the 'Jaime is only HeR rEfLeCtIoN' takes miss the mark completely, to sum it up, so let's tacklе em both in detail. Sorry, this got kinda long.

- cheats on him

Yeah, this one is a hаrd no from me, books or show. It's stated/shown plainly enough that it was literally the only way to get loyalty out of men, and she very much resents that fact. The only one I can kind of see is Taena in the books, but even that is more a form of therapy than anything else. It had never been good with anyone but Jaime. How this one is even debatable still is beyond me.

- calls him stupid

While I don't think that her saying that helps any, it's along the same vein that he calls her mad on - it's a shorthand for, 'are you fr right now' on things that he should really know better, even if she hasn't explicitly lectured him on. Her calling him impulsive for freeing Tyrion, resulting in Tywin's death, is not unjustified, for example. It is also kinda weird to assume that she wants to send all their forces North to help people who want them both dеad when she told him half an episode ago that they need to be clever about fighting Daenerys, i.e. trick her in some way. It was pretty stupid to be mad about that, and he kept underestimating her thorough the season on things she clearly could handle, having been queen for like 20 years, so I can't really blame her for gloating about it a little.

(He very much does this in the books, too - she's talking about things she'd like to do and has to remind him that she's aware that she can't when he starts lecturing her on it. Again, that's not particularly quick of him, even if it's in favour of getting her to see reason that she's already seeing, lol.)

- slaps him around

In the books she does this when he insults her in front of a bunch of people in court with the full realisation that they're being listened to. In the show, she does it after he responds to her legitimate concern of how they'd handle the Bran situation if it got up to Robert with a quip about how he'd fight him for her, as if that wouldn't cause a massive war (which she was right about, btw).

Again, violencе is not the answer. I don't think slapping people solves anything. But, given who the characters are, this is really nothing really out there, like... in the show, Jaime pretty much takes it as fоreplау.

- bodуshames him

This doesn't happen in the show at any point, I think, so, in the books: it is the sort of аbleism that seems rather Westeros-typical, and she often ties it to his intelligence - it's mostly sentiment like, 'he lost his wits with his sword hand', which she says as a double offence - 'you're stupid and also one-handed'. Is it childish? Yes. Is it kind of uncalled for 90% of the time? Also yes. Is it in tune with the way he also treats her? Sure does, given that she mainly does it in retaliation when he obviously doesn't take her concerns seriously or ridicules her for them.

As with the violencе, it's obviously not something that's good or helpful or commendable. It's, to be perfectly honest, petty sibling back-and-forth with no real end in sight, and very typical for them. She calls him stupid and insults his missing hand, he also calls her stupid and insults her ruling skills because they're both mad and bitter at each other for various things. Rinse and repeat.

- she doesn’t really love him

I'm not even gonna argue that one for the show, because she very obviously does love him there, and even though she's a harsher character in the books even in her inner monologue, when this debate pops up, this is always the scene I think of:

"Where is my brother?" "Down the tunnel. There's a shaft, with iron rungs set in the stone. Ser Jaime went to see how deep it goes." He has only one hand, she wanted to shout at them. One of you should have gone. He has no business climbing ladders. The men who murdered Father might be down there, waiting for him. Her twin had always been too rash, and it would seem that even losing a hand had not taught him caution. She was about to command the guards to go down after him and bring him back...

Which I guess is weird, because she has far more romance-oriented moments regarding him, like thinking of how much she wants to kiss him or dreaming 'sweet dreams' where they're married and their son is on the throne, but it just strikes me as so careful and almost endearing when compared to her usual internal narrative. She criticises him for being too rash, but is terrified for his safety, and especially so because of his lost hand, and it makes her indignant that no one else thought to keep him safe as if the entirety of the Red Keep is supposed to be as invested in his wellbeing as she is. He has no business climbing ladders!

As for her making him do things for her, this is a good moment to remind everyone that he has done maybe 3 things she actually asked of him and the rest was just stuff he thought she'd like him to do, so, like.... that's on him, tbh.

I've watched the first two episodes of the veil (kdrama) and I'm obsessed ???? hence I need to get some thoughts off me because ASJDVKFJGFK this drama seems to be sooooo good and interesting and I'm already hooked to its premise!

so first of all: I was not expecting and nor was I ready for such a huge snack to be given to us as a male lead. I am absolutely not familiar with the male actor, I personally have never seen him acting and omg. the shock I had when he appeared for the first time ??? this drama needs to put some warnings ahead and not for the gorey or more disturbing scenes, BUT FOR HIM. like watch out, this dude is gonna come with his huge ass and ripped af muscles and do the utmost to make you feel like he's impregnated you through a screen. i was left speechless, astonished, incapable of putting together any coherent thought and yeah. just watch out for him.

secondly, it was really long since the last time I watched a spy drama/tv show, so the fact that the veil seems to be very well made and nicely paced is already super intriguing for me. I love spy dramas and I love them even more when the male lead is as good looking and hot as nam goong min. besides his looks, he is also super fitting for the role that he's playing, like there wasn't a single minute where I doubted his ability in playing a spy. he looks like he was born for this role, idk he's just so perfect!!! also we have gangs and drug lords involved, lots of action, a little bit of disturbing / more gorey scenes which make the whole thing look a lot more real ... I mean, just looking at quality, it seems like you're watching a western tv show or movie and I'm in no way saying this because those shows are better, but mostly because of how explicit / fast pace the content is. the action scenes are phenomenal as well, and I love how we have a male lead that's not your typical kdrama male lead that solely goes down the road of goodness and kindness and whose only aim is to protect those who are weak, but more like a hunk that wouldn't think twice before punching you if that would get him closer to his aim. he's super goal-oriented and cold and aggressive, but I also appreciate how they didn't shy away from showing his weaker sides. like his loneliness, his ptsd, depression, everything which comes along with his job. it feels much more real and authentic to watch something like this, so truly, good job to the script writers!

they didnt show much of the other characters but I'm already in love with yoo je yi!!! now tbh I didn't understand who is the actual female lead of the drama, but if it's her it would perfect!! she gives the right amount of contrast with han ji hyuk's character and I already love those little glimpse of chemistry we got from the first two episodes!! I believe that, if well developed, they could make a really interesting couple and I don't necessarily mean it in a romantic way (although I would like it better if they had a little bit romance ... it's just that I don't think this is where the drama wants is heading towards). I mean, she has the right personality to make him open a little a bit but also to oppose his black-and-white way of looking at things, his recklessness and toughness. so I'm really looking forward to whatever these two will do as partners and to how staying with each other will change their personality. also, I think soo yeon is the other female lead of the drama, but I don't kinda get her role so far. hopefully they'll give us more hints on whether she's going to be a positive or negative character, in all frankness I'd appreciate the second option more, just to have more variety in the cast.

regarding the plot, the premises were laid in a very stable way, the storyline doesn't seem to be rushed and I feel like almost everyone was given a good enough introduction and time to be 'settled down' as characters. I'm absolutely loving the dark vibes, the politics and the intrigues, the whole idea of guessing who's the traitor inside the organisations, etc (so cliché, but this shit gets me every time). some things aren't exactly clear to me, as the fact of why on earth does a top class spy have his identity, name, face and position revelead to the enemies and is still somehow allowed to work on the field, knowing he could get killed in any moment, but oh well that's kdrama for you.

so, to sum up: I'm loving this drama so far and I hope it will keep its initial pace and level of intelligence and not just turn into trash after few episodes. it does seem to be very promising in my opinion and the fact that the total number of episodes is 12 is kinda relieving me from the fear of them dragging the story in the second half. I definitely recommend it to all of you, especially because I'm craving for more thoughts / opinions / fan content from y'all <3

ps I see how in kdramas 2021 is slowly turning into the year of the dilfs, I see it and I'm absolutely not complaining

Hello! How are you? I have another ask or rather a statement.

I get kind of confused when people say Sasuke is unemotional or doesn’t have empathy. Just because he’s an introvert and not like Naruto or Sakura who’s openly emotional doesn’t mean he isn’t emotional. In fact, the guy is probably just as or more emotional than other characters. Also, from what I’m getting it, rather it’s Naruto or Itachi, Sasuke lets his vulnerability show when he’s with someone HE TRUSTS and feels they’re capable of handling them. Also, I feel Sasuke does show empathy but in his own way.

To the people who says Sasuke “hates” Naruto then jeez he must really despise Sakura and Kakashi. I mean, I’m not saying Narusasu is perfect however they’re more honest and willing to fix their relationship than Sasuke running from Sakura and Sarada from 12 years then goes off to leave them again AFTERWARDS. I’m aware Sasuke tried to kill Naruto however you’re ignoring the REASONING which gives his attempt meaning and depth rather him trying to kill Sakura and Kakashi because they were in the way.

Just to let you know I am not a 'Sasuke did nothing wrong' person. So, I will condemn certain things. 😊😊

I get kind of confused when people say Sasuke is unemotional or doesn’t have empathy.

Most of these arguments were usually made by Sakura fans who feels that their kween was insulted for her rabid attempts on Sasuke.

Is Sasuke unemotional and apathetic?

Yes and No.

When it comes to Itachi and Naruto, he displays intense emotions and extremely empathetic. It was plastered all over the series. I can write a book about it.

When it comes to other characters, Sasuke is emotionless and apathetic to an extent because he was being either extremely fucking logical or extremely stupid.

There is this boy who never even had a decent conversation or had any interest in spending time with that girl other than work related. But that girl was saying 'I love you with all my heart' not once but twice. So he rejects her outright because he sees no reason nor did she give one.

This is the part where he was extremely logical. I agree with him.🤷🏻‍♀️

What is there to be emotional about?

There is this boy who was completely lost in darkness. [Just like another boy who lost himself to a demon fox and sprouted 8 tails and destroyed everything on his way. Fortunately none of the villagers were on his way.] But unfortunately that idiot girl wantedly went to that boy and started to spout lies with the intention to kill him not once but twice. So he defended himself.

What is there to be empathetic about?

Although he shouldn't have joined Akatsuki and hunted Killer Bee like an animal. He was doing it willingly and I am strongly against it. Because apart from getting revenge on Konoha, Sasuke knew that the masked man was also an accomplice in massacring the clan. How can he work with him?

This is the part where he was being extremely stupid.🤦🏻‍♀️

This is one of the part where I strongly disagree with Sasuke and his actions. And tbh, he deserved that Lariat punch from Bee.

But I don't think there are that many fans for Killer Bee to bring this up against Sasuke. It's all from this pink haired kween's loyal buffoons who are cribbing about him being emotionless but at the same time being happy that their kween got his 'D!*k'.

Does he have to be emotional and empathetic to everyone? Also No.

Because you have Naruto for that. Why do you want Sasuke to be like him too? People don't understand that they are polar opposites.

Naruto is a person who personifies love, forgiveness, co-operation, empathy and emotional intelligence.

Sasuke personifies power, assertiveness, rational, focused, logical, independent and analytical intelligence.

Both needs each other and when they do, everything works out perfectly. Itachi summed it up very well.

Naruto is extremely emotional which may not help him always. For instance, when the Divine tree absorbed everyone's chakra and killed half of the Shinobi alliance, Naruto was crying a sea of tears. Will this help anyone? No.

It was Sasuke who was logical, thought about what to do next, decided to rile up Naruto's spirit and took the next step by cutting that damn Divine tree.

That's his core personality. There's nothing wrong with it.

Whatever Sasuke lacks, Naruto makes up for it and viceversa. 

To the people who says Sasuke “hates” Naruto

Alright, everyone knows whom Sasuke hated deeply for most of the series. 

It was Itachi.

But

The moment he knew the truth about the Massacre, he never once blamed Itachi for anything even for killing their parents, ruining his life, hurting him even more by putting him in that horrible Tsukuyomi, eventhough Itachi did this all on his own accords, meaning nobody influenced Itachi to do any of these. He forgave him immediately as if nothing bad happened between them. All because he loved his brother so much than he hated.

So, they really think Sasuke hates Naruto?? For what?? 

For just trying to stop self harming him by going to Orochimaru?

Or for being completely honest about defending Konoha but was still willing to stop him as a friend, unlike a certain kween who lies about betraying konoha and tried to kill him???

Or for only to look at him in the end like this???? 

Hmm. Sorry. There’s no logic at all.

Being a logical person as he is, there was 0 reason for Sasuke to hate Naruto.

Sasuke wanted to kill him because Naruto was affecting him in a good way. Sasuke thinks his affection for Naruto makes him weaker and decided to cut him off but at every chance he get, he simply couldn't.

@from-elphame we’ve been talking more lately and even before that I enjoyed seeing them on my dash. we stan about potential plots, HCs for our muses then nerd out about how another muse would interact with them, it’s all very fun, world-buildy and plotty stuff and I ADORE THEM. also plus they are just a general sweetheart with deep love for their muses. 

@mirrcrxball loveee love love <3 i mean that can literally sum it up but Su is a darling human and has been keeping my ass sane through ooc a lot more than i’m sure she realizes. I fall off the face of the earth sometimes but know i can always come to her if/when needed. not to mention all the shippy goodness.

Accidentally deleted my Tyrian and Watts asks while I was trying to fix a mistake so... Sorry about that, everyone! Here they are! Tyrian and Watts for the RWBY character asks!

Let’s do Tyrian first, because I have less to say about him, I feel like.

My top three ships for the character

Tyrian/Watts. Dysfunctional villainous romance of the century, no one knows how they’ve managed to make it to their tenth anniversary without killing each other, including them. Tyrian/Salem is my second top ship for him. Major Bellatrix/Voldy vibes with this one, but I could see it. Tyrian/Hazel is my third ship for lack of options. Does this one make sense? No. But I can at least see Tyrian being super flirty and Hazel being endlessly tired, but never really stopping it. (Also I hate Hazel so much lol.)

My three least favorite ships for the character

Tyrian/Qrow sucks for me. Like... I kinda feel like two people fighting each other just gets shippers, which is fine and totally understandable. But for me, Tyrian poisoning Qrow and almost killing him and calling his beloved niece a bitch and then killing Clover is a big no from me, dog. On that note! Tyrian/Clover is also one big no from me, since Clover murdered him. And Tyrian/Ozpin is another really big no from me. Tyrian and his crazy Salem worship can stay five hundred and fifty feet away from my son.

My biggest criticism for the character

They went a little too much on the crazy in the fourth and fifth season and it made him feel annoying. Like, I don’t mind the Bellatrix vibes, but I do mind the movie version Bellatrix vibes, sometimes. It just got kinda annoying. I wish his crazy was always more on the dangerous side and less on the kooky side, but that’s just personal opinions.

My favorite thing about the character

The way people are so uncomfortable around him. Whenever Tyrian talks to Emerald or Mercury, he’s honestly freaky. Like both me and the characters are waiting for him to snap. That’s a great quality in a villain that we’re meant to hate or love to hate. He has a real presence and it’s enjoyable.

A headcanon I have about them

Tyrian doesn’t often try to act normal, but he can, and he’s got a great ‘respectable, cool guy’ act that’s actually a little reminiscent of Qrow or Clover. He’s even passed himself as a Huntsman here and there.

What I would change about them if I was making a re-write

More involvement in volumes 4 and 5, and I’d treat him a bit more seriously and make him a bit more dangerous. Maybe I’d have him wound a member of Team RNJR in his attack as well as poison Qrow (maybe give Jaune a reason to unlock his semblance in season 4 and in response to the pain of a member of his team. Also, his ‘Tyrian purple’ color should be more than just the color of his eyes. Like, how come so many RWBY characters season 4 and onward have such boring colors? I’d give Tyrian some strong purple and pink.

What I I think of their character allusion and what (if anything) I would change about it

Tyrian alludes to the animal fable ‘the Scorpion and the Frog,’ and that’s... really in name only, I think. A part of me wants to give them some kind of points for having Qrow work with him against Clover, only for Tyrian to kill Clover, which lines up with his ‘its just my nature’ scorpion stinging the frog so that they’ll both drown and die. But they didn’t mean for Qrow to really be wrong! They didn’t mean for the lesson to be ‘Qrow shouldn’t have trusted the poisonous villain’ it was ‘wowza does Qrow’s semblance hurt him. :( Too bad Clover got himself killed.’ Which makes the whole allusion kind of suck.

Now for Watts, the single best villain in my opinion.

My top three ships for the character

Tyrian/Watts. See above. This ship would be a dysfunctional mess, but it’d be a wild ride. Watts/Villain!Ironwood. I kind of hate this ship when it’s ‘fallen hero turned villain’ Ironwood. But if he actually had been written as a secret villain or obviously headed that way from the start, I can see him and Watts also being a dysfunctional mess of a wild ride ship, only with way more ‘evil power couple’ vibes than Tyrian and Watts would have. Also my favorite version of this features Watts having been the one to build Penny (maybe by stealing the plans from Pietro) and him and Ironwood raising a still bright and cheerful, still innocent and trusting, villain Penny who will attack to kill with a smile on her face and a ‘it was nice meeting you!’ And this is very weird and niche but Watts/Evil Stepsister (specifically the one with the sharp bangs and highlights.) Someone sent me an ask saying the Evil Stepmother and stepsisters should’ve been connected to Salem and gotten Cinder involved and I totally agree with this. I then started envisioning a world where the step sisters competed with Cinder and all three of them were raised in Salem’s circle. In this version of things, I could totally picture one of the step sisters having a romantic tension driven connection with Watts and the two of them subtly flirting sometimes (and bonding over their mutual hatred of Cinder.) I picked the sister with bangs for no real reason except that I like her look more.

My three least favorite ships for the character

Watts/Cinder. Watts thinks of her like a bratty little girl, and Cinder kills him. Watts/Lionheart. Kinda really hate this one because of how clearly Lionheart was terrified of him. Just a bit uncomfortable for me to see that in a relationship. Watts/Hero!Ironwood or Watts/HeroTurnedVillain/Ironwood. Sorry, but Ironwood in canon got such a bad, bad portrayal in season 8 and the end of season 7, and I just can’t help but blame Watts for quite a bit of it. I only like them as a ship if Ironwood is an antagonist from the start.

My biggest criticism for the character

They shouldn’t have killed him! He was one of Salem’s best followers and one of the best villains and it was such a big mistake to kill literally one of the only actual loyal followers. It threw off any character development for Cinder and it was a big mistake. I really wanted the Cinder / Watts / Neo team up to keep going! I’m so disappointed it got thrown away.

My favorite thing about the character

Watts is an entitled, petty bastard, and I think that’s so good for a villain that isn’t meant to be social commentary (because tbh, RWBY never should’ve tried to be social commentary.) Watts isn’t sympathetic, he’s an Atlas born and raised guy in a three piece suit, he’s posh, he’s upset because he wasn’t given exactly what he wanted. Most of the villains in RWBY are either victims of abuse, systemic oppression, or poverty, and that’s... Not fun in a show that’s never handled social commentary well and is about magical girls destroying Voldemort/Satan with the power of friendship (Ruby literally never says anything about Faunus rights iirc.) Watts is refreshing because he’s exactly the type of villain that you can expect in a show like what RWBY should’ve been, and he flourishes as that. Why would we be sympathetic to Watts when he’s just doing this all because he wasn’t picked first for his tech? Why would we feel soured towards conflicts with Watts and Team RWBY? He’s just a petty bastard being evil because he was snubbed. Why would we be frustrated that incredibly significant problems are being shoved to the side with Watts? He’s a fun villain, he’s not meant to be more, he’s not meant to make you emotionally invested only to then be gutted for it. You can hate to love him without it feeling bad. Maybe that’s why he’s just my favorite non-kid villain (other than Roman.)

A headcanon I have about them

Watts has been trying to build his own AI robot like Penny, in his spare time. He wanted it to be done in time to become a Maiden, but it wasn’t, and Salem gave that slot to Cinder and got after Watts for not contributing enough. He of course thought this was deeply unfair (especially after being made to contribute a lot to Cinder’s Beacon success without getting any credit for it.) And this just fueled his hatred of Cinder, his hatred of Pietro and Ironwood, and by extension, his hatred of Penny.

What I would change about them if I was making a re-write

I would keep him freaking alive and keep up the pair up he had going on with Cinder and Neo! But also I’d increase his relationships with Emerald, Mercury, Tyrian, Hazel... Just some more Salem’s Inner Circle moments to flesh out their characters. Other than that, I wouldn’t change much. He’s a pretty good character.

What I I think of their character allusion and what (if anything) I would change about it

Okay, I’ve talked about his character allusion in a very long post awhile ago, but I’m not scrolling down that far to tag it. To sum it up... I hate his allusion. XD I loved the Sherlock Holmes books and read most of them, and I didn’t realize he was supposed to allude to John Watson until I read someone else’s post saying so, and I started freaking out about how awful it was. Watts has so little in common with Watson, he’s essentially the anti-Watson. Which basically means he’s Sherlock Holmes, the opposite of Watson in almost every way, up to and including freaking faking his death which is one of the most iconic Sherlock Holmes thing ever. Watts is everything Sherlock Holmes is on his worst days, arrogant, callous, consumed with his projects, petty, smug, over the top - as well as being hyper intelligent and a genius who often just gets passed over. He has rivalries with his colleagues like Holmes did. And like I said, he faked his death, only to reveal himself to an old friend later on the cusp of carrying out a scheme. He’s evil Holmes! He has nothing to do with John Watson - caring, humble, down to earth, not brilliant like his friend but content to be ordinary and special because of his emotional depth and devoted heart, medical former doctor who spends quite a lot of time chronicling the successes of someone else because he’s content to live in the background. Don’t get me wrong, a ‘Watson’ character who is evil could work - Watson himself indulged in crime for the sake of Holmes sometimes in the original works and if he worshipped Salem or one of her followers and did everything for her while still being a more humble, more friendly, not brilliant person he could be good - but Watts is not that person. Even the gimmicks Watts is given are stupid and don’t make it obvious he’s Watson. Boy’s got a moustache and a revolver and they thought that’d be enough. Idk why they thought 'we’ll make him Watson’ when he’s clearly a Holmes! Also, he’s supposed to be ‘Watson if he’d met Moriarty instead of Holmes,’ and to that I say boo! Watson wouldn’t turn into a super genius just because he meets a different mastermind!

...That’s summing up my feelings, yeah. Because I have so many feelings about his warped, weird character allusion. If I was changing it, I’d just make him Holmes like I think he was clearly supposed to be.

A Wunderkind-universe fic where Cassian thinks his birth mom is going to kill his adoptive family, so he leads her away from them with the intent of going with her if he has to... but calls Phoenix in the hopes it won’t come to that. Here’s a random thing from the notes on my phone that explains the title:

“There are some things that divide life into before and after. For Cassian, the before ended about four months after the after started. It wasn’t one event, but two, that changed everything. The time in between was a strange... not neither-ness, but both-ness. For four months, Cassian was trying to live two lives at the same time.”

Shadow:

Follow-up to Liminal, a conversation between Mac and Jack where Mac processes the fact that he basically had to talk Amber into suicide-by-TAC-team—and the fact that he sees more of himself in Amber than he’s comfortable with. Multiple sorts of “shadows” going on there.

This one is Criminal Minds, from a quote from a villain, actually, but I got so excited that someone had used the word “autistic” on TV in reference to a character who I headcanon as autistic that I had to go write fic immediately (which is kind of sad tbh, but I’ll be salty later). It’s pretty much exactly what it says on the tin.

More autistic Reid fic! This one is about Reid throughout his life using research and learning about things as a coping mechanism (100% me projecting), and the title is Latin for “I know” (in the sense of “I have knowledge” more than “I’m aware.” I think. It’s been a while since I took Latin).

Dracula fic I just wrote. Dracula has kind of taken over my life recently (fortunately, I’m talking about the novel, not the vampire), and this is the first thing I posted for it—a letter from the female vampires in Dracula’s castle to Mina with the intent that she read it after she was turned, welcoming her. I titled it, as I put it in the notes, “after the short story ‘Contents of the Dead Man's Pocket,’ another story in which a man, reasonably intelligent but rather seriously lacking in common sense, who really loves his wife, has a misadventure that involves climbing out a window.” It just... worked.

my favorite season: Season 3 was the best for me (especially the second part.) I’m a big fan of Void!Stiles and I think Dylan’s performance is one of the best I’ve seen in television EVER. a character I’d die defending: As I chose Stiles earlier, I’ll choose Derek now. That man has suffered so much, please stop hurting him! He deserve the world and he needs to be protected at ALL COST! I’m ready to fight an army of Alpha Werewolves to protect him!

a character I just can’t sympathize with: Kate Argent. I can’t stand her so don’t even try to find her redeeming qualities or to write a redemption arc for her. She’s the absolute WORST!

a character I grew to love: Peter Hale. I can’t help but love the bastard. In S1, I couldn’t care less about him but as the show went on, I kinda fell for him. But then I have to admit that I’m a sucker for Good!Peter and read far too many fics where he’s just the sassiest mofo with a good heart hidden behind a truckload of sarcasm. So, maybe my opinion is more based on the headcanon version of him than on his canon self. (as usual)

my anti otp: I have a lot of them in this show TBH... But to sum it up, Stiles and Derek with any other person than each other. I’m a boring monoshipper! The only ship I can relate to the tiniest bit is maybe Stydia, even if for me, they are better as friends than lovers.

a synopsis.   ah, here he is—my tol, troubled, grouchy son : ' ) don't u just adore ur resident trashy, snarky, but precious and sad fuckboi muse? bc i know I DO! anyways, before i digress, i'll cut to the chase. so, waaay before he blessed the universe with his presence, his mother ( who was originally from turkey ) moved to the states where she met one alexander hale. you can probably guess the rest: the pair married, they had children, everything seemed to be going swimmingly, yada yada. here’s a lil background: the hale family—a line of manhattan-born businessmen / lawyers / diplomats etc. they're dripping in wealth, not always as squeaky clean as they portray themselves as to be. kaleb’s dad was a douche, expected both of his sons to follow in his shadow and become lawyers, ran around behind his wife's back: the whole shoot and shebang of a classic a-hole. he always kind of ignored kaleb in favour of his eldest son joshua so kaleb kinda became hard-hearted and resentful due to the lack of his father's attention. skip a few years and he spied his dad cheating on his mother with his secretary though he refused to tell another soul for fear of any potential backlash. soon enough, his mother found this out for herself, their argument ruined his thirteenth birthday party then they divorced soon after. his mother fell off the wagon, became terminally ill—all while his father was remarrying and expecting a daughter with his secretary. it was a hella rough two years for kaleb. it got even worse. eventually, his mother passed away and his step-mother divorced his father to breeze off into the sunset with her new lover; leaving her daughter with her piss-poor excuse of a dad. at this point, kaleb was lonely and angry but adopted the role of his step-sister's protector, shielding her from their father's increasing substance abuse induced violence. just before his seventeenth birthday, his father died in a car crash. of course, he didn't entirely mourn the loss. almost immediately, he and his younger sister moved in with their elder brother who helped kaleb get into university. with dear ole dad out of the picture, he could finally pursue his interest and flair for music. after he graduated, he moved to santa ysabel with his brother and brother's family. in the beginning, things were going fine. yeah, sure, he was struggling for work and felt bad that his brother had to keep him afloat. normal stuff. then, one day, things quickly turned sour in his world. [ TRIGGER FOR GORE, BLOOD, SUICIDE MENTION, GUN MENTION, MURDER, DEATH ] he’d came home to find the locks on the doors busted, advancing into the house carefully only to find his brother’s lifeless corpse crumbled on the kitchen tiles: his throat and wrists slashed, posed as a suicide. of course, kaleb knew better. he knew his brother; knew he would never leave him or his family. upon further inspection of the house, he’d discovered the body of his wife upstairs: a bullet hole between her eyes. [ TRIGGER OVER ] the whole ordeal was enough to turn his stomach but once the sickness had subsided, all kaleb felt was a strong thirst for blood. sure, it was pretty damn stupid to try and seek revenge or whatnot ... but kaleb had always been one to let his heart guide his brain. anyways, time skip now to the moment he’d uncovered his brother’s entanglement with some dodgy loan shark, drug dealing criminals who were responsible for his murder. in the end, he’d hunted them down and eradicated them one by one, over a span of weeks. at first, he hated himself and what his desire for vengeance had turned him into but he kept going until he’d got them all: until he’d grown numb. truthfully, how he wound up taking lives for a living is beyond him. he woke up one day, found himself hired by some big-wig businessman who wanted rid of his business partner and et voilà, he was tangled up in the dark side of existence. i mean, was he blackmailed into doing his first paid hit? yes. but who can blame him? especially when they claimed to have intel regarding the sudden demise of a prominent figure in the criminal underbelly of the city, a.k.a his brother’s killer. it was a risk kaleb simply couldn’t take. he prefers to keep himself anonymous, hidden behind shadows, unsuspecting. death has become a job. nothing more. nothing less. it’s simply the algorithm of his existence: receive a dossier, take care of the target, get paid a hefty lump sum. and all just for enacting a stranger’s revenge in the blood of another. he moves like a deadly phantom, his footsteps light as a feather, whipping through the night like a bullet through a target’s skull. sartre claims that hell is other people. and if you were to stare into kaleb’s eyes—eyes eerily similar to having been cut from coal—you might just see hell and everyone in it staring right back at you. as nietzsche wrote: “ he who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. and if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee. ”

these are nineteen songs that i’ve been listening to while making kiana’s blog [x] some i came across, some randomly thought of, and some suggested by lovely muns i’ve been chatting about kiana to. since she’s a character that i’ve adapted for the purpose of famed, these songs have helped ground me in the person she is. i hope the songs and descriptions below will help you learn kiana a little better too

1. to be torn by kyla la grange

this first song was a suggestion from someone, and i think set the tune for the rest of my choices. apparently it’s from beauty and the beast? lol anyway it describes this desire to be torn, a carnal need to be used. the heavy sound of it is kind of haunting, a bit sad, but also strong. the emotion can be felt even without the lyrics. kiana has this part of her that deeply craves being important, whether it comes at her own expense -her own tearing- or not. also forewarning that a lot of these overlap on the same concepts. shrug emoji

2. intertwined by dodie

intertwined is a song that immediately came to mind for kiana after to be torn. when this song came out, many people saw it as a cute love story, wanting to be intertwined with a lover, and have them be the safe space when you have a troubled head. however, dodie made a video debunking this, against her natural inclination, because the song describes something severely unhealthy. the following music video also helped many people to see the gore that’s strung throughout the lyrics. it Actually describes a relationship where the participants have put all of their source of happiness in one another, and it’s left them codependent, but ever seeking more. kiana has this perpetual trouble in relationships, especially romantic ones

3. bite by troye sivan

i can be the subjective of your dreams, your sickening desire is a pretty good sum up of where the inspo comes from. it’s difficult, when talking about the negative parts of kiana, to not talk about her ex-boyfriend. i have lots planned to talk on so i won’t go on forever here, but it reminds me of how all it took was the tiniest invitation for kiana to “become his.” that’s how she works. come here puppy, don’t bite, and she’ll heel at your side forever. at least, back then. she’s someone who seems difficult, because she’s very asocial, but with the right formula, it could be so easy to slip her into your arms

4. hell in heaven by twice wish

this song is a bit similar to intertwined, i would say? someone who feels stuck, drowning in a “hell” that is only saved by a piece of “heaven/paradise.” yet they’re in between the place of hell and heaven, constantly confused of where they land, because they’ve placed their hope for salvation in this one, singular place/person. they want to be freer than they are, yet their salvation keeps them locked away. open the door to heaven, let me walk on the cloud. the day i’m trapped in you, save me, hold me tight

5. dinner & diatribes by hozier

a few different levels come from this song. while it was created with the idea of how tedious social gatherings are, the story that comes from it makes another world. kiana is asocial, and struggles with fear over social situations, which make something like dinner parties quite stressful for her. she’s also someone who isn’t fond of small talk, and more likely that type to say ‘talk to me about your deepest fears,’ but... she actually means it and isn’t saying it to be pretentious. she would much rather see the sickest, nastiest parts of someone, soak all of that up, than talk about whether the food was good. the music video describes this in part, but also gives a hades/persephone but worse type of story that is also quite kiana aligned. that’s the kind of love i’ve been dreaming of

6. creep by radiohead

i want you to notice when i’m not around. so fuckin special, i wish i was special, but i’m a creep. not to ‘have you ever seen me without this hat’ on you, but lissen! kiana is forever convinced she’s an outsider. the things she likes are more Cool these days than they were when she was a kid, but the feeling of being ostracized for liking them back then will always live with her. she’s an insecure overthinking fuck at times too. and also desperately wants to be someone special, and unique, as if having that would make her pain of feeling different worth it

7. seigfried by frank ocean

the meaning of this song is pretty different from how i view it in relation to kiana. for her, the focus is on the idea of ‘settling down’ being... acceptance of normality? her whole life, she’s been searching for someone and/or something that makes her feel special. she became an idol for this exact reason, dated her ex for that reason, seeks the relationships she does, thinks she could still have superpowers for this reason. but the truth is that she’s pretty normal. her hobbies are very normal people type things. her talents aren’t anything that would have her being called top of the line. her thoughts are all things other people have thought of. her booksmart intelligence isn’t any stronger than the average. she is very normal, and the tiny part of her that acknowledges that usually shoves it away. but on occasion, she wonders if she should accept it, and settle

8. gimme love by joji

gimme gimme love is all you really need to know lol kiana doesn’t stick around easily when she’s not being given the same kind of world-ending affection from those she’s chosen to share that with that she gives out. she gives at Least 110% of her love, affection, and loyalty into anyone that she has chosen to keep closest to her heart, and if she isn’t getting that back, she can feel dejected, unloved, and unimportant. she may give people like this a few chances to change, but her expectations, or “standards,” won’t change

9. pain by king princess

cos i can’t help turning my love into pain is the strongest lyric that ties back to kiana. the overall message isn’t as strong because king princess has a different view on a relationship as described than kiana. for her, it’s yet another kiana will put herself in the face of terrible parts of relationships. the trouble is that she enjoys it, and seeks it, thinking it’s the ultimate show of love. not to pain one another, but to be pained without them. also realizing after all these i should be saying this applies to her inner circle friendships as well, but the standards are just a little less heavy

10. any song by zico sun

not one for big gatherings, kiana likes to have her social interaction either through the wire, or in small groups (duos are best to her tbh) the song has an upbeat tune that contrasts against the lyrical meaning of something more about... any song will do, something to drag away the sadness that’s living inside. kiana functions a bit like that, always seeking her uniqueness to bust out and save her from her own mind thinking she’s not good enough

11. why won’t they talk to me? by tame impala

she is asocial, but that doesn’t mean being a hermit,, an otaku,, whatever you want to call her, is a life full of happiness. she functions very well on her own, but when she has that for too long, it can be damaging to her head as well, especially when she has inner circle friends or a romantic relationship. when not speaking to these people, the need for human connection seems unbearable to deal with, and anxiety runs rampant

12. alien by lee suhyun

her mama told her she’s alien, but actually it was herself telling herself she’s alien mixed with influence from pop culture making her want to be a superhero and kids who told her she was a freak, all coming together in the desire for weirdness to be a Cool thing. kiana will wish til the day she croaks that she will have a realization that she has a special power

13. stressed out by twenty one pilots

ki doesn’t care about the core message of this song. many people relate to oh no bills~ adult stress~ but kiana doesn’t. even if she wasn’t born into a family that could live comfortably, and didn’t become an idol making phat stacks, she would feel the same. to her, it’s an inevitability. HOWEVA the beginning lines are 1:1 for how she wishes to be something extraordinary, and is supa insecure that she isn’t. i wish found some better sounds that no one’s ever heard. i wish i had a better voice that sang some better words ... i was told when i get older all my fears would shrink but now i’m insecure and i care what people think

14. true crime by epik high ft. miso

not exactly 1:1 word by word, since there’s several perspectives coming in one song, however, the overall message i think can be summed in it’s a true crime to be without you. other lines like i’d open up my chest for your entertainment, that was the line that drew me to originally put this in the playlist. i’m not sure on a story behind the song, but it strikes me as something bonnie & clyde-esque? there’s themes of being on the run, lying on the pavement dying, stuff like that. that kind of relationship is strongly the ideals kiana holds for her romantic and close platonic relationships

15. shine by pentagon (shouldve been knight but bad bois image PLAYIN)

i cannot explain to u the random joy this dumb song gave me when it came out. it’s similar to power up like i just?? get so happy lol anyway the whole premise is like nerdy person has a crush n theyre like oh my god~ why would u like me~ i cant say i like u~ it’s super fucking cute. i’m a loser who loves you. yes, i’m a misery. to you, i’m a nuisance, i’m an outsider, but in this world, i only need you. that’s where the kiana part comes in strongest, or explains it in one sentence. she worries she isn’t enough for others but her affections are always incredibly strong. also she’s cute

16. tail by sunmi dimensions soloist 2

when i first heard this song, i needed to play it again to pay attention to the lyrics because i had the feeling it was kiana-esque. i was right, but i would say that it’s where kiana could go at her worst. has she been there? i’m not so sure. perhaps teetering on the edge of having her claws out, but really, for now, it’s just that the potential is there

17. she’s my religion by pale waves

so as to not repeat myself too much and because this is so much fookin writing already, this is another song that talks about how deeply and dangerously kiana falls into others. she’s no angel, but she’s my religion, always finding ways to numb the pain ... made me feel like i was finally enough ... she needs this love just as much as me

18. space cadet by beabadoobee

this song has similar themes to alien, but rather than about being special, it’s about being in a shitty place and letting your mind wander to create a better reality. ki has her interests, her extreme love of her fandoms, because it’s an escape for her. that’s not something i personally approve of, however, it’s a common reality for many people. living in these online spaces and thinking of these fictional worlds gives her a place to go to when the irl world is too difficult for her to handle

19. me! me! me! by teddyloid

you might think this is a meme addition and sure! to a degree it is! but i’m also going to talk about it as an actual piece of music and visuals. first we’ll talk about the music video. kiana feels complicated about the type of anime fans that oversexualize everything, so in general, she likes a message that’s against those types. the message of addiction tearing real life relationships apart also is something kiana sorta needs to hear. the lyrics of the song itself talk about an all consuming type of relationship, and dissects it to explain how it wasn’t love, but worship, which was dangerous to them both. it’s a song that kiana perhaps would need to take to heart, but i, as her mun, am unsure if she ever will. that depends on the connections she forms, and what types of people are goading her on, or trying to get her to stop

BIOGRAPHY

He was born right outside of Boston amongst big houses, expensive cars and fine jewelry.

The youngest of the Ishida boys. There’s four of them.

He’s the not-so-happy accident in his family, which isn’t exactly a secret and it’s clear on plain sight, when you find out his siblings are 12, 13 and 15 years older than him, so there wasn’t much relationship with them, nor her parents. Danny has always been the neglected boy in the family. He’s tried to impress them many times, but at some point he simply gave up.

That did not mean he didn’t get anything material. It was the way his parents would compensate for the lack of attention and amusement. Danny had everything every young kid would’ve dreamed of. He got his first Mercedes Benz at the age of sixteen (crashed it merely three days later only to get a replacement after a week long punishment of driving a simple Ford).

Let’s get a little bit into his family. His father was always busy, if you could call drinking, gambling and doing drugs such thing. That’s on the surface, what everybody knows of Mr. Ishida. What not many people know, and he would like to keep that way, is that the Ishida family are the head of a mob organization with ties to drug cartels and prostitution rinks. Just. Very illegal stuff.

Mom... Mom just likes to take antidepressants with a bottle of champagne in very expensive silk robes.

Danny has known of the family business since he was old enough to comprehend the things he could and could not say, but before that, Danny basically grew up alone. Raised himself with the very few examples he saw in his life, which surprise, weren’t exactly the best, but he learned to be sympathetic too. Most of his life lessons though, came from movies. And he was a fan fo romantic comedies. 

Fast forward to him being seventeen and in high school. His father had been recruiting new girls, and he wanted Danny to learn. Sure, he was kind of neglected, but every now and then daddy felt merciful of his youngest son and wanted to give him a sense that they had some sort of bonding.

Dad said not to talk to any of the girls. Just fix their documents, since most of them were illegal, don’t ask names, or lives, but there goes sympathetic Danny, ready to disobey his father. 

Long story short, he fell for a girl named Lucia. She was the prettiest girl he had ever seen, and even though he was quite the ladies man in school, she was his first time, his first love, his first anything. It was all a secret, of course. His father could not find out, but of course he did. 

Danny was in the midst of a heated make out session with Lucia when his oldest brother saw them, and went and told Mr. Ishida about it. 

Long story short again... Lucia did not make it, which Danny did not take well, but he had to hold it all back, or things would not have ended well for him either. And ever since, Danny has been trying to find a way to get back at him for it. 

Just like the rest of his brothers, Danny had an automatic pass into Yale. He hated it, but he convinced himself this would be the end of it. That he would get a good major, a good career, a good job somewhere far far away from his family and that the nightmare would be over. 

But it wasn’t. His father’s plans for him weren’t over, and since he was the one with the least interest in following the family business, Mr. Ishida sent his youngest son to a place where he would learn how to do things on the low, to be secretive and lethal all at the same time and what a better place than Blackthorne. 

Danny almost rebelled and escaped, but upon thinking about it a couple times, he realized it could play against his father too. He would learn everything he needs to learn, be the best secret weapon as he can be and eventually shoot his shot, end with this fucking bullshit life they had. 

PERSONALITY

Despite the internal angst in Danny’s life.... his personality is far from what could expected. He’s not broody or dark. He’s more of a fuckboy with a warm smile and a wit word to charm as many as he can. Or annoy the fuck out of them. He’ll find enjoyment in both. This gif is literally the most Danny thing you will ever see. 

Selfie enthusiast. Bonus points if they happen at the gym. Definitely self absorbed. 

He loves movies, loves books, and will quote them every now and then.

He’s really smart. Borderline brilliant. School comes really easy to him as well as other sort of activities. He doesn’t brag about it, but he’s quite proud of his intelligence, because high key, his parents never really mention it. So if someone has to hype him up, it better be himself.

He speaks English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, some Korean and is trying to learn Italian, simply because it’s hot.

He’s a sensitive child. He will cry with good songs, and some animal videos on Facebook and TikTok. He won’t deny it. He’s very proud of his emotions but will be a dick about it every damn time, and call himself a damn good person, as if.

He’s a party boy. Usually organizing them, bringing in the party goods and favors. What are his father’s connections for anyway?

On that matter, he ain’t a drug dealer and would never call himself that. He does like to share his own stuff, though. But won’t sell. Anything else illegal? Fake IDs? He’s your guy.

He always gets what he wants so he falls on the manipulative side. He will fake being your best friend, will fake having a crush, will do it all just to get what he wants.

He can be a pretty good boy too, though. Sensitive, attentive, loyal, responsible (for the most part) but be sure to always question his intentions.

6. What song best describes your Smuggler?

Best song for Silver is probably What I Never Knew I Always Wanted by Carrie Underwood. That girl did not start her smuggling career hoping or even expecting to fall in love, get married, and have a family. Wasn’t even on her radar. And then came Ord Mantell and Corso and, well, things change. :)

7. What song best describes your Imperial Agent?

Jaaide’s best summed up by Human by Christina Perri. She gives, and gives, and GIVES to Do What She’s Supposed To until she’s nearly at her breaking point, both in Intelligence and after she’s Alliance Commander and hopefully someone catches on to tell her she needs to take a break or it’s okay to say no once in a while. (I mean, c’mon, “I can hold the weight of worlds if that’s what you need”?)

10. What song best describes your favorite LI?

Had a moment of “Oh, crap, now I have to pick a favorite!” before remembering this isn’t Dragon Age; my fave is very clearly and emphatically Elara Dorne. :D

Tbh, I haven’t put a lot of thought into songs for her as a character(I usually don’t for non-OCs) apart from the Telara ship. One of the more Elara-side songs from their ship playlist is Absolutely Smitten by dodie.

(Ironically, Theron and Corso are tied for second, and I have exactly perfect songs for both of them....)
