Ken calls me his "sweet, divine, beautiful girl" (while counting the adjectives on his fingers, for emphasis) but he says "sweet girl" for short. I got the idea because Margot Robbie said in a very early Barbie press interview "Ryan improvised a line during the 'sublime' scene where he instead shouted... what did he say? 'My sweet girl'!" and I thought to myself "ohhh that's so perfect!!!" I always love implementing nicknames with my main F/Os and making them special. I love "baby" "sweetheart" "darling" etc etc but I REALLY have such a soft spot for nicknames that F/Os would call me and nobody else, something that's personal to them, and vice versa. I thought it was perfect. I like the idea of Barbie calling me that too ;u; sounds so lovely in her voice.

But later when the behind the scenes footage was released in iMax theaters, the phrase he shouted was actually "my divine girl", not sweet girl like Margot had said. But I had gotten SO ATTACHED to being Ken's Sweet Girl™ for two months, I didn't want to change it, couldn't even consider it. I decided to just add to it... "sweet, divine" girl, but he'd still just say sweet girl most of the time for short. Problem solved. BUT THEN I had a dream shortly after, where he was teary-eyed, holding me, sobbing "my beautiful girl, my beautiful girl". And I woke up immediately fueled with the power of ten thousand suns saying "okay so I'm Ken's sweet, divine, beautiful girl. got it. got it. cool, coolcoolcool, so cool." We'll see if a fourth adjective comes into play someday 😂😂

YOU'RE SOOO RIGHT!!!! HE ABSOLUTELY DESERVES BOYFRIEND OF THE YEAR AWARD 🥺🥺🥺🥺 he and Barbie are solely responsible for all of the joy I have felt in the last few months when I have needed them both the most!!! thinking about the pet names my f/os would call me :3

Shane - the usual pet names I think. baby, babe, honey, etc. I like babylove a lot tho.

Arthur - bunny!!! other f/os call me bunny too but it's special with him. he also calls me sweetheart, my love, hun, sweetness. stuff like that. he's pretty affectionate.

Danse - bad with pet names...but I think an occasional "my love" would slip out. he mostly calls me by my name haha

Nick - I'll include him here even tho he's not a romantic f/o. he throws out "sweetheart" like candy and it's very endearing and comforting to me. also uses hun and calls me "kid" sometimes

Mulder + Scully - they're a package deal so I'll put them together. they both call me bunny !!! and I think Scully would occasionally call me babe or honey too hehe

i mean. it’s crazy to me, sometimes. i’ve been ( unknowingly ) selfshipping for over a decade and had around ? twenty—five f/os in total ? and of course, they all had an impact on me, but — he’s so different. he’s what i’ve always envisioned my partner to be, as cliché as that sounds. i could talk about what all i love about his personality for ages — to name a few; his playfulness / childishness, how much he cares, and his protective nature ❤︎

also one of my favourite fun facts about him is that he dislikes alcohol just like me and that is so stupidly comforting ;;;

he’s also the only one i can actually imagine being in a relationship with if he existed. as much as i love all my other f/os, i always get to a point where i’m like “i don’t think i could do y with them” but with satoru ?? i can even imagine having kids with him, sometimes he gives me baby fever and let me tell you i used to be absolutely sickened by the mere thought of having some / being pregnant FOR YEARS i‘m not even joking when i say this 😭 satoru changed my perspective on a lot of things djyksb

Lol that's fair, a good chunck of my 'will write' list are actually my F/O's but I realise I didn't put any indication as to who was who. I don't think I had the confidence to actually announce that when I started this blog.

Anyhoo I'm in a mood for scales, so I hereby select Repton and Sir Pentious for the games! Oh God this got long

Repton:

R - Rainbow - what colors do you associate with them and why?

It's always deep olive greens and harsh dusty yellows for Repton, his colour scheme is pretty consistent and pretty much matches his territory. I find it very soothing almost? Like watching a savanna landscape, which is technically where he lives so, win.

E - Emotion - is your f/o open with their feelings or do they keep them close to their chest?

If it ain't rage or exasperation then he ain't showing it. He absolutely feels a wider range but frustration at his limitations rules his judgement 99% of the time, which is a work in progress. Makes those rare time's he is openly happy that much more delightful!

P - Pets - do they have a pet? if so, what kind and what is/would be its name? would you have a pet together?

Canonly, no, but I've always figured the wastelands around his terra would hold some kind of cool monster that he would take delight in taming, so in my head he has pet dragons. Not big ones, but if Gwythents were more bat like that'd be ideal. Atmos is criminally underdeveloped ok I can make up animals if I WANT

T - Teach - what skills of theirs would they teach you? what would you teach them?

I have an aversion to motorsports but you literally cannot get around atmos without a sickass flying motorbike, so I would def be accepting dirk-biking lessons from the guy with the coolest ride around.

As for what I'd teach him... I'm honestly not sure what I have to offer that he would find interesting or useful, but I can offer lots of geology/geography knowledge that would probably be handy for raids and crystal formations? Alternatively how to speak nicely to his siblings

O - Online - what is your f/o’s social media presence like, or what would it be like if they had internet in their world/era?

'Officially' he wouldn't partake, seeing the dumb shit his brothers watch online would drive him insane. Unofficially however, he would totally stalk his enemies facebook posts just to plan an opportune ambush.

N - Nostalgia - what’s your f/o’s favorite memory?

Canonically, probably the day he defeated the Interceptors. That was a serious victory that shook the Sky Knights and their teams across Atmos, and he relished in the leverage it gave him.

Sir Pentious:

S - Story - if you and them were in a fairytale, which story would you be and who would play which character?

Oh a reverse fairytale for sure, a runaway noble of some descript get's kidnapped by maniacal (artificer I guess in this case?) for ransom, only to find they're both terrible and have much more fun encouraging his shenanigans.

I - Image - show us a picture of them that gives you a lot of feelings. if they aren’t a visual character, describe your mental image of them!

Oh see GIF above, this man is SO happy to be gatecrashing even when his shit is already wrecked, my mans THEATRICAL and loves his job.

Black, Yellow and Fusia. Pretty self explanatory - the high contrast is gorgeous and luxurious in his design and yet attention seeking like a particularly villainous traffic cone.

P - Pets - do they have a pet? if so, what kind and what is/would be its name? would you have a pet together?

Do the Eggs Count Idk if you can have snake pets in hell but he is absolutely the type to have boa contractors and cobras draped all over his ship. I'm more than happy with this.

E - Emotion - is your f/o open with their feelings or do they keep them close to their chest?

Sweetheart this mans emotions are broadcast to the fucking moon. Everyone in hell knows how he's feeling at any given moment and he hates it, but he doesn't have the restraint to keep a lid on them when things don't go his way.

N - Nostalgia - what’s your f/o’s favorite memory?

Extrapolating from the crumbs of the single pilot we have, probably the birth of his son. He seems the type to have Gomez Addam'sed the shit out of his family, and I don't doubt he cried more than the mother and baby combined.

T - Teach - what skills of theirs would they teach you? what would you teach them?

I'm signing up for lessons in firing lazer beams and rockets and you cannot stop me. I would probably teach him what modern slang and style suits him becuase the secondhand embarrasment I recieve watching this 19th century supervillain attempt to integrate into modern culture is nigh lethal.

O - Online - what is your f/o’s social media presence like, or what would it be like if they had internet in their world/era?

It's cringeworthy and mortifying for want of better words. I wish he would stop chasing the overlords accounts and getting into screaming matches in the comment sections. At least the latter results in him blowing up someones house occasionally, but it hurts to see him ruin his own reputation which he cherishes so much. Less of more here, really.

U - Uplift - how do they help you when you’re stressed or sad and vice versa?

When I'm sad it's cuddle time. He's fantastic at it, and his scales are much softer than they look. It's weird to feel his eyes blinking, but the pressure and attention feel wonderful after a bad day.

When he's sad or frustrated - I'll admit that I'm not the best at feelings things and would much rather offer practical solutions, he appreciates a second pair of eyes and opinions on his projects. I can compliment his engineering no end and belittle the bastards that made him feel workthless forever, so if I bitch whle we work it's a win-win.

Hi, sorry to bother you. These past few days I’ve felt so disconnected from J and Eddie. Daydreaming almost doesn’t help me anymore. I miss them both, especially J, so so badly. Do you have any tips on ways to feel more connected with them? 🥺 Please and thank you. Have a good day💜

Hi dear anon🥺💕 You aren't bothering me at all, you are never a bother. I'm always happy to help when I can. First of all, I totally understand how you feel. It's the same for me, to be honest. And it sucks and hurts a lot.

But I want you to know that J and Eddie love you so so much and they will never ever, under any circumstances leave you. Okay? They miss you too and they want to be together with you❤️

As for tips, I'm listing a few things I can think of right now that I'm doing myself. Also, if you want to talk or gush about them, my ask box and DMs are always open. I love hearing the thoughts of others💜 Anyway, I digress.

First, I recommend you watch a few scenes of J and Eddie. Personally, it helps me to hear their voices and just see them. There's a compilation on YouTube with all of J's scenes that I often watch or just play in the background to hear his voice.

Second, if you are on Tumblr more often or other platforms like AO3, then you could read x reader fics. There are many very good writers for J and Eddie here and there are good pieces for almost every scenario. To name one person, if you are looking for an in character and softer J, then I recommend fics by @ajokeformur-ray Erika is an amazing writer and a sweetheart🥺 She also writes wonderful fics for Eddie on her other blog @ghosttownwherenoonegoes

Third, especially for Eddie, it works for me when I hear music and certain songs that make me think of my f/os. It can be songs that are related to them in canon, like for Eddie it's Master of Puppets by Metallica. But it can be any other song that makes you think of them and gives you good feelings. Maybe for J, you could listen to The Dark Knight soundtrack. I do that a lot.

Fourth, if you can, you could get comfort items for your f/os. That can be anything that makes you think of them. Clothes, jewelry, stuffed animals, books, etc. You can try what works best for you. It's probably a little harder for J than for Eddie, but I personally wear rings for J and have a pillow that I sometimes hug for physical comfort. I also have their shirts that I wear sometimes. But it can also be something simple like using their signature colors. Anything that makes you think of them is good.

Fifth, you can create things for your f/os yourself. You could write down your daydreams. You could try to draw them, maybe even together with you. You could print out pictures of them and make collages or put them on your wall so you can see them and have them near you. You could start and design a journal or scrapbook. There are no limits to your creativity.

Sixth, you could try to specifically take time for yourself that you spend with your f/os. You could do things that you would do together with them. Like little dates. For Eddie, maybe you could go for walks, listen to music or read Lord of the Rings with him. Just things that are fun for both of you. I personally also like to imagine tinkering together with J. It's fun to imagine how different f/os would act and react in different situations.

These are the things I could think of right now. I hope that there is something that helps you. And I want you to know that if you have any more questions or just want to talk or gush, you can always talk to me💜 I don't bite, hehe🤭💕 And you never bother me! Again, J and Eddie love you so much. Most people report that my f/o would be a dom and most scenarios paint him as sadistic and degrading but I think they're really wrong (theyre valid tho I just think he as a person isn't one who would be like that, even if he has a "cruel" demon side) He's a sweetheart switch who is absolutely weak for me and would pamper me and treats every partner of his with the most respect and gentleness and sweetness even if he can be teasy smug cutie and he can get soo whiney and clingy for attention because he knows I can't resist him being cute and he gets very flustered when I initiate and tease him back

here's an f/o life update on my part:

Cas is off visiting family for the whole month (good for him <3), Jack's on some daring adventure again and Batsy (he hates that nickname lol) is busy keeping up with criminals so I've been spending time with Cowboy on the ranch. I've finally had the chance to do some yardwork and tend to the garden (it was a mess when I started) as we've turned most of the horses out to the big grass pastures 💚🌱 There's still horse-related stuff to do (you can't escape those on the ranch) as the horses don't spend whole days out at the pastures yet, it's a slow progress getting them used to grass again after winter. 🐎

mine for him: Lion is already a nickname and I mostly refer to him as such. However, sometimes I'll call him dandelion. the standard 'sweetheart' and 'baby' are favorites as well.

his for me: he is the only f/o who's allowed to call me rosie (that's what I'm called irl and I hate it) because I like the way he says it. he sometimes calls me his 'silly goose'. on occasion I'm 'his girl' or 'flower'.

What's something they do that you think is just absolutely adorable?

(what does he do that isn't adorable?) I think his sense of humor is one of the most adorable things about him. it is very innocent humor, but it never fails to make me laugh. sometimes all I need to cheer me up is hearing one of his jokes or watching him play around like a child. he's so adorable when he's laughing and happy; that is my favorite thing about him and something that fills me with joy to witness.

also, can I just say that he's so cute and little? I love that we are about the same height, give or take a couple inches, because it's just so 🥺🥺🥺 I love that he's such a little guy🥺🥺🥺 I don't mean it in any negative type of way; I love that about him so very much.

How intimate are you with one another?

I would say that Lion and I are intimate in the way that we have a deep understanding of each other because of similar experiences and personalities that compliment each other quite well. we don't have specific roles that we fulfill, but Lion appreciates that I take charge a lot in our relationship and direct him. I have to say that I am a bit more dominant than he is (and he can be a brat when he wants to be) and our sexual intimacy reflects that.

in terms of general intimacy, Lion and I are very, very close. we stick near each other most of the time and he likes to be around me when I am working. he's always curiously asking me what I'm doing and likes to be included. Lion has the habit of clinging to those he cares about and it's adorable how attached he is.

things with my f/os are going okay: jakob and will haven't been around for a while, but I believe they're off searching for more tales that need to be told and trying to get their publishing/writing career going, so they're focusing a lot on that. terry is around a bit, but the one thing about my father is that he is always immersed in his work and he has been very busy managing his hotels because of it being summer. tony is around as well even though he keeps himself pretty busy doing goodness knows what; I imagine the business he's in is booming lmao. he is the only one of us who's enjoying the heat wave because he is so used to a hotter climate. lion spends his days with me, mostly, but he's quiet now because it's late. he's a morning person, whereas I am the opposite.

I def love pet names, and I think these two would have a bit of a knack for them as well! I've made a post about it before which you can read here about which names they'd call Dr. Webbs... I just think they're so fun! (As for what pet names I'm partial to, I really like honey, darling, sweetheart and my love <3)

18. Cuddle in bed or need their space to sleep?

Hehe it really depends! Sometimes I really need my space but I do love a cuddle! However Dr. Webbs has six arms which makes having space more bearable (bc it's easier to touch their beloveds!)

19. Gifting love letters/poems or gifting flowers?

I think Julie would LOVE flower language and put lots of thought into beautiful bouquets for Dr. Webbs. Sally would adore poetry and write flowery sonnets to them (which would make them absolutely SWOON) and I think they'd have a love for a classic heartfelt letter <3

Gh.ia and I are both fond of the type of kiss where we get to hold each other close and usually with one straddling the other's lap. Lots of closeness and kisses like it's oxygen... Hands caressing the other's face as though were trying to sink even deeper into the kiss... Good stuff

🎟 What Romantic movie would each of you choose?

Neither one of us have ever been really big on romantic movies! Though, we have been talking about watching a classic like "Singing in the Rain" or "An American in Paris". I think he'd really enjoy the music of those films! And we can kiss during the long musical parts

🌹 You surprise your f/o with flowers! What did you get them?

Gh.ia's favorite flowers are snowdrops! (In Italian, snowdrop is 'bucaneve', which is also his favorite nickname for me! I'm his snowdrop) So I gave him a nice big bouquet of snowdrops and red roses. He really likes it! You should have seen the way he blushed and buried his face into it before pulling me in for a kiss

❤️ What little actions help you and your f/o say “I Love You” without words?

Often times, the way we say "I love you" to each other without words comes in the form of touching and doing things for each other. It can be something as simple as a hand caressing the cheek or a packed lunch. Or it can be something like long cuddle and kiss sessions or using our stands to make grandiose gestures (like when Gh.ia made it snow for me back in December... Im still soft over that whole thing). Not a day goes by where we don't express our love through so many different ways

🚨 Babe alert! Did you or your f/o get any special outfit or underwear for the holiday?

Gh.ia did actually get me a new simple yet beautiful black cocktail dress! (He didn't have to get it, but he insisted on it... a persistent sweetheart) We'll be going out to dinner tonight so it'll be a great chance for me to wear it. I can already see his jaw dropping at the sight of me in it

🖍 What gifts did you and your f/o get each other?

I mentioned how I got him a bouquet, but I also got him a teddy bear plush! To be specific, a polar bear plush. It's very soft and cuddly, and it reminded me of him. Seeing his face light up when he held it was very cute

He got me flowers too! It's a full pink rose bouquet that has a very fragrant scent to it. (They're so pretty... like him! I just had to kiss him). He also got me a a box of my favorite kind of chocolate. I can't wait to share them with him after dinner

💔 Your f/o wrote you a letter—what does it say?

I did get a letter in my inbox from him yesterday! It made me feel all giddy inside, but I won't retype it here since I want to answer that one. Although, I just know he'd write me so many more...

First of all, thank you, you're really sweet 🥺

But it's just... hard to think of me with any of my faves, it even feels dumb for me to do so (though I have nothing against selfships).

For example, Kakyoin: the guy deseves a lot of love because of everything he lived and that's why I created Lia to be like she is. When I think of someone loving him the way he deserves and with him loving them back, Lia just pops into my mind, not me.
