Very random but I've been wanting to ask this for a while ! When I was a kid everybody's favourite planet was Saturn, but my favourite has since changed and I wonder if everybody else's has too.

My favourite planet is Mercury, for a variety of sentimental reasons (including the song "Mercury" by Sleeping At Last) :)

🦩 Jupiter in 4th house indicates moving abroad that year

🦩 While Uranus in 4th house brings sudden, unexpected changes in your home life. Moving to another house? You bet. Redecorating your whole house because you just woke up with the urge to do so? Could be another possibility

🦩 Jupiter trine Venus in SR brings an easiness to manifesting everything you want that year. If Jupiter/Venus is in 2nd house trining the other planet, then you might also get lots of gifts

Are you a Neptune enjoyer? well I've got some news that will ruin your day! (:

(yes, this news is a couple weeks old now, I had this sitting in my drafts and forgot about it)

We all know Neptune. the beautiful dark blue, windy planet, the farthest planet in our solar system, discovered by math, etc. etc.

WRONG.

turns out, when voyager 2 imaged Neptune, the photos were processed in false color to better show the clouds in its atmosphere. While astronomers at the time all knew about this color change, throughout the 34 years since then, the sentiment got lost. Neptune was depicted as dark blue in everything from children's books to university books, and everyone took it as fact that Neptune was, in fact, that shade of blue. But it isn't.

In true color, Neptune is a much, much lighter blue, coming in at only a few shades darker than Uranus (cursed, i know).

Above is the false color image compared to the true color image, while below is true color Neptune compared to true color Uranus [IDs in alt]

Straight-up, I think that Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus helped me become a better person

I grew up (and still live in) a red state where LGBTQ+ topics aren't really talked about openly (at least at the time). I was also raised Catholic, and although I was never taught "gay people go to hell" there was definitely an element of "hate the sin, love the sinner." As a result I echoed a lot of opinions around me that were homophobic.

I got into Sailor Moon at age 13, and Haruka and Michiru were pretty much my first exposure to gay people. I remember thinking how cool they were, and I loved their relationship. They made me actively rethink the homophobia I was being fed. It became more and more apparent to me that gay people are totally normal and deserve to love who they want to love.

And now shows like Steven Universe are doing the same for the next generation of kids. Representation matters, y'all.
