Summary: Sam Wilson meets his second soulmate at the park. He... quickly runs away, setting Joaquín off on a quest to find Sam.

EXCERPT:

Sam remembered this feeling from the last time it had happened to him. Flowers. A sign of true love, perhaps. Soulmates, definitely. Soulmates. Sam. Might have. Another soulmate. He couldn’t have another soulmate, could he? Sam knew it was a possibility. People can have more than one soulmate. He had met people who have had more than one soulmate. His sister had recently met her own second soulmate. It was possible. Sam just. Sam never expected that he would ever have another soulmate. Not after Riley. It didn’t feel possible after Riley. Yet, here were the flowers. Here was the man. Here was proof beyond proof that something more was in Sam’s future, something Sam hadn’t expected in a million years despite the possibility of it. Here was another soulmate, right before Sam’s eyes. It was possible. It was fact.

This is basically just where Big Bright World is planned to go after Broken and Frozen.

I've got an anthology follow-up called Tales from a Big Bright World. In my defense, that title existed before I knew TOTTMNT would be a thing. There's also a Book Two in development called In Full Bloom.

Tales from a Big Bright World has three, quote-unquote, "seasons" that are set in between the books. Season 1 is set between B&F and IFB.

Gardens had always been a source of solace for Ben growing up. His mother had loved them -- had encouraged him to sit with her, in fact, while all her roses were bursting in full bloom -- and standing there amidst Charlotte's illustrious garden was a true sight to behold.

"I thank you for taking me here," he said. "I am unsure of what I've done to deserve this invitation, but naturally, I could not refuse...and not just because it could lead to my beheading." This last part had been said with jest, and the corner of his mouth lifted into a wry smile.

That was when she surprised him. With a freshly picked blossom in hand, Charlotte rose on tiptoe and tucked the flower behind Ben's ear, causing him to blink down at her in bafflement. Though as she lowered back down to her proper height, he grinned, chuckling as he reached up to touch the new adornment. "Somehow, I don't think this goes nearly as well with my ensemble as it would yours -- and most especially my m.ilitary uniform, whenever I so choose to wear it -- but I thank you for the gift. I'll have to press it in a book upon my return home."

Flowers, just like memories, could be preserved with the proper care and diligence.

In Full Bloom: 19. Handjob

“Darling…” Clover’s hand caressed one of his dark tendrils, using her fingertips in gentle motions at first, feeling him curl around her hand. With a shaky exhale, she then wrapped her fingers around him to stroke the tendril up and down with a slow, sensual rhythm. She then squeezed him, watching his sweet, smiling face for his reaction.

“Does… does that feel good, my love?” She moves closer to whisper softly against the shell of his ear, then pressed her lips to his cheekbone, awaiting for an answer but continuing her languid motions.

Gael/Riyeon - 15. Shower kiss

Riyeon knew he would be reprimanded for what he was about to do, but like with all the decisions he makes in life: ask forgiveness, not permission.

Entering the walk in shower, he approached his mate from behind, splaying his hands across their lower abdomen and pulling them closer against him. Unsurprisingly, his bulge had already unsheathed.

Hungry, open kisses were scattered up from Gael’s shoulder to the sensitive side of his neck, while Riyeon’s greedy hands moved to get any kind of handful he could grab. Turning Gael around, he then pushed them against the shower wall with his weight and claimed their lips with a steamy, intoxicating kiss.

“Sorry.” He grinned once he pulled away, definitely unapologetic. He gave Gael’s ass a quick squeeze before he’d be slapped away. “Can’t help myself.”
