Vintz Desert’s single “Novacane” is a gentle breath of fresh air for the listener. The majority of the single is backed by a beautiful piano accompaniment, and grows into a bold and exciting instrumentation by the end of the single. The buildup is subtle and takes it time, but once we get to the exciting drum performance, it feels like a door’s been opened for us to embrace all the beauty in Vintz Desert’s world. Our favorite part is definitely towards the very end where it sounds like a raw, live performance when he was recording the single.
