So I've been seeing ALOT of Interview with a Vampire (2022) content, and I really want to try my hand at writing as Lestat. So I would need a Louis. That being said, if anyone would be open to a rp based on my limited knowledge, and any info you may be able to add.

León Arganthonios Laurel

León was born in Cadiz but moved to Barcelona at nine to be closer to his mamá’s family during the divorce.

His mamá remarried but developed a terminal illness shortly after. For eight years, León had a double life. He would be the caring son at home. But with his friends, he was a carefree, no-strings adrenaline junkie.

León dropped out of college at twenty-two when his mamá deteriorated further. León’s stepfather kicked him out when his mamá went into care.

Since then, León has lived in a shared apartment with his friend, Regan. He has given up on pursuing art as a career, now a full-time bartender and dogsbody.

What he doesn’t know is that this isn’t his first life. For centuries, León has been born and reborn over and over without the memory of his past lives.

I always respond because it seems like the polite thing to do especially now that people don't leave as many comments as they used to back the 00's on ff.net

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

You Can't Stay Blind - (SuperWho (SPN/Doctor Who)) - the Eleventh Doctor runs into Crowley who's wearing a too familiar face

In the Pasture of a Vale (Supernatural) - Dean runs into Adam and Ben five years post-season 5 (written back in 2010)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I think I always end up with a kind of mixed emotion ending like Best Laid Plans or Our Soulmate Academia, so it's difficult to remember the truly happy ones. The most recent happy ending would be The Mystery in the Fog (ACD!Holmes) where Holmes and Watson end up at the same secret wedding of an underground queer club they're both members of unbeknownst to each other and have some revelations

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Sometimes I do. The most infamous incident was the time I wrote a fic speculating on who Castiel's vessel might have been before I got to Jimmy's episode in my binge watch back in the day. The reviewer went into gruesome detail on how I was going to burn in Hell for my fic. It was unreal. I just deleted the fic and then went on to write several more SPN fics as you do.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I've written smut a handful of times for fics and more often than that for RP since that's part of the RP culture I fell into in university. Most of my smut fics have been orphaned now, but the one that remains is Swallow My Fang at Night Island (Interview with the Vampire (AMC)) I approach smut like I approach fight scenes so I can keep track of the flow of action. I keep my own personal kinks out of it and try to write a scene I think the audience would look for instead

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I've written 15 crossovers. I enjoy them tbh. In terms of plot, the craziest one I wrote was Distortion (BBC Sherlock/My Life in Film) where Jones was hired to play Moriarty and things get way too real. In terms of titles crossed over, the craziest one is probably The Hokage (Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle/Naruto)

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yes, ages ago. It's why I'm my own beta reader or Kitty Britpicks me because I can trust her

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I had some requests but I've never been alerted to the final products

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

My brother and I regularly cowrote fics together when I was in high school and he was in middle school. If you ever read a Trigun script-based crack fic in the 00's with the phrase "Love and peace! Doves and geese! Change the world!" or "Another carnival ride with cotton candy," that was us.

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

I don't think I actually have one because I'm a multi-shipper and I have so many favorites. That said, it might be inuyasha/Kagome since I always had an Inuyasha fic in rotation (usually more than one though) from 2001 - 2007 or so. Unfortunately they've all been lost to time. According to my AO3 relationship toggle in the filters sidebar, it's Destiel (7) and Devil's Minion (7)

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I have a BnHA fic from before we learned what Hagukure's powers were where she sent Class-A and Aizawa back in time to Yagi's high school years to do a kind of Tenchi in Love (1996) type of plot where they had to stop a time traveler from murdering Yagi. I wrote quite a bit of it but it stalled on me when Midoriy and Nana interacted and I wasn't completely sure how to get that to work

16. What are your writing strengths?

The most consistent thing I get complimented on are my fight sequences, which is why it's sad I lost all my IY fics because I wrote so many fights for them

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

My memory is a sieve and some of the holes are too big

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I've done it before because I was a weeb and it was a trend in the 00's. Not sure I'd do it again now that I've matured past that.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Technically fairytales. I retold Cinderella when I was so little my mom had to write it down for me because I couldn't write yet. I drew pictures to go with the narration

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

The Land Across the Sea (Black Clover/Boruto) - Boruto ride a tsunami to Clover Kingdom and the knights have to take him back home, which is also Yami's homeland.

I got the idea for this fic when a friend and I were talking about what we'd want the Black Clover movie to be about when it was first announced. Then I took my idea of Yami getting to return to his homeland and made it a crossover because I like the idea of Yami and Naruto knowing each other from back in the day.

idea; muse a see their teacher (muse b) being touched on the bus/train and records it as black mail to make muse b their pet.

The Pop Point: Your performance in Good Time was unanimously welcomed. What is funny is that people seems to realize that you are a good actor at every new film

...Robert Pattinson: I wonder how much people think I'm a bad actor to be so surprised by each of my films. Do you think that in ten years they will still say: "Woa, he's not that bad!"? (He bursts into laughter.) But that's pretty good, isn't it? It's great to be able to surprise people, it gives you a lot of energy. It puts pressure on me in a positive way.

Is it possible for an actor to get rid of the audience's prejudices? Of the representation it has about you?

RP: I always thought that we had to accept the fact that people who saw you in a role will have a certain idea about you, some expectations. But I think we have more control than we think. It just takes time and work. It's clear that after five movies in the same vampire role, we can't expect that people won't identify him to me. But it would be the same for any role.

People may underestimate you because of Twilight, but it seems that you yourself tend to think you are bad!

Absolutely. (Laughs) I don't know why. For example, for this film, even if I love it and it was selected in Cannes, my brain could't help but whispers to me: "It's going to be a disaster, maybe this film is shitty". And, as I arrived in Cannes, I was in a terrible mood, ready to fight with everybody. The day before the public screening, I felt pathetic and I was so angry that I was arguing about nothing with people. I don't know why this happens to me, it's a strange kind of stress.

Lots of actors avoid reading the reviews about them so as not to feel depressed. You, on the contrary, you devour them ...

Yes, and when they are good, I look for the bad ones! (Laughs.) Some reviews are really interesting: they don't just give an opinion, they are well written and make you think. Besides, I stole quotes from critics several times to bring them out in interviews! (Laughter.)

Today, these reviews say you are at your best, that Good Time is your best role so far. Is it your feeling too?

I don't know. It's such a strange industry because it totally depends on what others do. We can only be good to the extent of the opportunities we are offered. With each film, I expect it to be my last one.

You hate doing auditions ...

I'm awful during audition. I really can't do auditions. Before Twilight, I had 10,000 auditions and I only got 9 jobs. I even lost my agent several times because I was so bad. It's an anxiety problem. And then I don't like the balance of power in these auditions: 20 people in front of you who judge you, it's very humiliating, how not feel terribly bad?

Fortunately, today you no longer need this: almost all the directors would be delighted to have you in one of their films, right? Your name is synonym of fame, fans ...

If someone hires me thinking that I'm going to bring an audience with me, it makes me nervous. I can't guarantee it, nobody can. But I think the people who hire me no longer think about it, so they can't be disappointed in the end! I should do romantic movies again so that could work! (Laughter.)

You should do a romantic comedy!

I love rom-coms! The other day, I was watching 'You got a mail', this movie is really great, but nobody writes any more like that ...

Do you get a lot of offer? How do you choose your projects?

I'm very pro-active. You go crazy if you just wait for something to happen. I try to find directors or screenwriters who are not known too much yet. I set up my Twitter account to follow many journalists specialized in cinema and I literally spend my days reading reviews and watching movies. For the Safdie brothers, I came across the trailer of one of their films. I asked my agent if he knew them, but apparently no one had ever heard of them. So I rushed to my phone to ask them for a role, whatever it was!

Are there directors with whom you still dream to work with?

It's strange because there are a lot of French directors who interest me. I would really like to work with Maïwenn, I think her last film incredible. And Maren Ade! Toni Erdmann is so great. I would like to play in a comedy too ...

It's so uncommon that a "Hollywood" actor is so attract by European cinema!

It's just that I get bored very easily. I don't like to watch predictable movies. I find it crazy that many actors never watch movies. How can you enjoy being an actor and not enjoy movies? I can honestly say that's the only thing that interests me!

Lauri Thomson

Don’ts: I’m not going to RP anything that happened before Lauri became 18. You can ask him about it, he might talk about what happened and give some vague details, but RP-ing it is a no-no!

Verse: Lauri lives on Earth.

Good to know: As a young teenager Lauri was abducted and physically, mentally and sexually abused. At the age of 17 he finally managed to escape and the world and his parents welcomed him back.

Yet, he was damaged and no amount of therapy could keep him from derailing. The only thing that gives him a shred of peace is painting.

Lauri doesn’t have a job, but he’s very apt at making deals with the media which gains him money. But because he’s involved with the media so much (his face has been on every news-channel and what not after his return, and interviews etc. in the years to follow) he fears everybody will recognize him within an instant.

The Grandmaster

Good to know: The Grandmaster is an Elder of the Universe and his obsession is playing games, preferably on cosmic scale. He is a nasty and vile creature with unlimited powers that surpass even those of the Gods. (And seriously, when I say he’s nasty and evil, I mean it.) For those who are familiar with Marvel; this Grandmaster is a mix between MCU and 616.

Agnar Kjaltson

Good to know: Agnar is the Captain of the Honor Guard of Asgard. The Honor Guard is a special type of guards whose sole purpose is to protect the occupant of Asgard’s throne and their family.

Specter

Faceclaim: Rupert Penry-Jones as Mr. Quinlan from the Strain

Type: Original Male Character

Race: Feral Vampire (Nosferatu)

Age: 600-ish

Sexuality: Unknown

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Character tag: {C: Sink in your Teeth > Specter}

Verse: Specter lives on Earth.

Vampire stats/powers/weaknesses: Specter has one inhuman skill which is shadow-phasing. He can use every shadow, and even black things, to move from one place to another. Other than that, he has no special powers. He is NOT stronger, faster or anything else than a human.

Sunlight doesn’t harm him, but he’s not very fond of it. He doesn’t drink blood, he just eats his victims raw with skin and bones. His teeth are all sharp and pointy, but not inhuman long or protruding.

All the fairy tale methods that are used to repel vampires don’t work on Specter either. Garlic stinks; a stake through the heart is painful; and a beheading is a reason to kill the attacker. He does have a weakness, but that is for you to find out through RP. (Or you can ask me if you think your character has this information.)

Good to know: Specter was born as a noble human centuries ago, but he has been made what he is nowadays. The vampires of his kind are not turned as we read in novels - a bite and some blood - but they are put through a far more horrific ordeal to completely remake them. That’s the reason Specter is very hard to kill and it’s also the reason of his mission.

Specter’s real name is Achereon von Brandernach; his human name. Not many of his characteristics have changed since he was remade, he still is inconsiderate, selfish and humorless. The only added bonus he has now is that he can be extremely feral, up to an animalistic point.

Who the heck is my muse anyway:

SIBYL PETYR is an ancient bloodwitch ( or vampwitch, succu-witch, whatever floats your boat ) from anglo - saxon england. she differs from other vampires because she wasn’t turned ; she was cursed, rather, by the old lord marduk, who gave to her the ultimate kiss of doom. since the day of her mortal death in 798 AD, she’s traveled across the world & assembled a small, close - knit bloodwitch coven ---- the coven lives together in new orleans, a modern - day haven for the undead.

Points of interest:

what will immediately jump out, so to speak, about sibyl is her skin, especially when hungry -- she’s pale, almost sickly green, & purplish cobwebs of veins adorn her face and hands. she’s also quite tall, standing at five feet & eleven inches. as for her teeth, her canines & outermost incisors are just slightly fanged, & these fangs are not rectractable.

What they’ve been up to recently:

lately, sibyl’s been using magick to recover memories of her mortal life & studying the lore of her kind. she likes to write, paint, & garden.

Where to find them:

very verse dependent as she’s been alive for so long. nowadays, you can find her in her garden district home or exploring the french quarter beneath the full moon. from the eighth to the tenth century, she remained in england, but by the eleventh century she’d grown restless & began her travels. she didn’t settle in one place until the mid - sixteenth century, at which point she chose a quaint venetian apartment to live in. by the late eighteenth century, she’d moved to paris, where she met the valdís twins, & then by 1846 sibyl found herself in her permanent new orleans home. she continues to travel, though, so you can literally put her in any place on earth & it’ll make sense.

no omg but i haven’t written much here so i don’t really have any arcs going at all right now, nor do i have any planned !

Desired interactions:

i would absolutely love some more vampy / undead friends for sybil, so anything creepy like that ! sib also rly gets around smh so building up a shippy relationship would b cool too . there’s always like, the classique interview w/ the vampire scenario that i’m personally a hoe for, u know, the mortal being fascinated by the undead & asking a bunch of innocent questions.

Offered interactions:

sibyl’s ancient & very wise, but she’s a sloppy feeder, so she could easily feed from your muse intending to drain them only for ur muse to survive with little more than two swollen puncture - wounds ---- they could run after sibyl b/c they’re pissed ‘cause now it looks like they’ve got a fucked up hickey, or maybe ‘cause they want her to turn them, or idk.

since sib’s such a lovey, we could set up a romantic relationship between our muses ! if your muse is undead / a vampire, they could be dramatic & awful together & go on hunts together. OR if ur muse is a mortal, we could get really angsty bc a.) sibyl either wouldn’t turn ur muse because ur muse has a lot to live for, or b.) ur muse is too nervous to be turned.

oooor we can just go the established platonic route which is still awesome & sweet ! like i said, sib needs as many undead friends as she can get, but the idea of human friends for her tickles me half to death omg. like, her human friend wakes her up in the daytime n sib is like you better have a good reason for this jfc.
