Slate's Official Intro Post!

ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴍʏ ʙʟᴏɢ!

This is my personal diary blog and space to chat with others! I will be posting stories and thoughts about my therianthropic experience and just things that happen in my daily life :) (I will occasionally post vents and they will be tame).

ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴏꜱᴛᴇʀ...

My name blog is Slate but I also go by Micah and Oakley with a preference for the latter two! (Despite the name Micah, I am extremely non-religious). I use masculine pronouns like he/him and also neutral pronouns like they/them and xe/xir. I also use neopronouns like pup/pups and dog/dogs to alleviate species dysphoria :) I overall use the set he/they/xe/silly/pup.

I am also a therianthrope. I will not get into depth what a therian is because there are many ways that people can express their identity, but for me I experience involuntary animalistic behaviors that have lead me to believe I am not human. Many therians believe they're physically human but I do not. Please do not try to convince me otherwise, you'll be wasting your time. ♡

I am also neurodivergent and disabled. I am autistic and have formed OCD through trauma. My special interests are bugs/insects, cozy games like Spiritfarer and Animal Crossing, and gardening/herbs! As for my OCD, I have some things I cannot talk about which I will list in my DNI. I also have chronic pain in my knees which prevents me from doing a lot of activities such as running for a long time and walking down stairs. I try my hardest to do quadrobics because it is a good escape for me but it's hard for me to do much of it.

I'm always open to being friends and mutuals but I would prefer people in my age range! (18+ is okay but I'd prefer to just be mutuals.)
