Oooo this one's interesting

Definitely better in fanon than canon. Fanon- series like Grass is Always Greener has done a lot better to redeem Garm (and show him working on deserving Koko) then the movie has. I'm glad they're still split in the movie and that Koko doesn't instantly forgive him at the end

I do think the power couple vibes are immaculate, but I think the ship sailed and sunk (with some fanon exceptions) for me. I kinda lost all 'sympathy' for canon Garmadon when he locked his son and his teenage friends in a collapsing temple with no food, no way out or off, without a map or guide home (since they flew in on a helicopter and don't know the way back home), and abandoned them there where they straight-up would have died if they hadn't discovered their powers.

Yeah.

Koko deserves way better.

Fanon has done a much better job for me, to the point where it's actually quite cute sometimes, but overall I don't ship it very much- either passive or a 'skip' for me

cleopatra by dontaskmedude   - divergence from episode 4; Joffery does not die; Laenor and Rhaenyra do everything right; Alicent and Rhaenyra raise their kids together 

someone to watch me die by dontaskmedude  - this is just, this is just depressing; good but depressing; like if hurt/no comfort is your thing this is for you; it’s just so, so sad; kinda Alicent in chains/Rhaenyra half year queen era with some timeline tweaks but no happy ending; do not read this if you want them to be happy 

Untouchable by mylordshesacactus - young rhaenicent; if Aemma never died and if Alicent never married viserys; i love this story so much you dont get it

Blame it on Fate by Lumyart ( @lumyart ) - they’re rival co hosts; well, actually, they’re rival co hosts in Alicent’s mind; Rhaenyra is thoroughly enamored (as per usual)

Dareth as Lloyd’s uncle though. Since he’s supposed to also be an exiled iron dragon clan member. The brain cells all went to Misako.

Uncle Dareth is the whole reason why I went with him also being part of Clan IronDragon!

Well, it started out as me needing a babysitter for Lloyd. Since he gets to actually have a childhood, he gets stuck on the sidelines a bit. So I needed a character who would be trusted by Lloyd's family, but who wasn't someone who might be crucial out in whatever conflict is going on, like Mystake would be.

Dareth was the first person to come to mind, but the way he befriended the Ninja in cannon wouldn't work in VT. Even if anyone wanted to start training Lloyd, the VT Ninja have been living in that penthouse from early S2 for awhile, and thanks to their brand deals they aren't going to be hurting for rent money any time soon. So needing Dareths dojo is out.

My next thought was to do something like with Ed and Edna, but unlike them Dareth lives in the city and would definitely recognize Garm and Nya as the infamous Lord Garmadon and his daughter (who the media have started calling 'Tempest' bc her name and the fact she's the Green Ninja's thought to be dead sister isn't well known), and wouldn't be inclined to help them.

Then I thought, what if he befriended Misako when Lloyd was a kid and ended up being a sort of uncle figure? But Misako was incredibly careful and pretty paranoid about keeping herself and Lloyd safe, especially in the first few years. Him being nice to her during one meeting wouldn't justify her trusting him at all.

Unless she had more than just the one meeting to know Dareth means no harm.

Which is when I got the IronDragon idea!

I've expanded on the IronDragon Technique and what the Clan can use, more on that in a later post I'm working on, but Dareth also has his own IronDragon tattoos!

They're different than Misako's, which I've also tweaked a bit, but they're still extensive and sapient. Dareths are small, not sapient, and are ones that give abilities or enhance some things he can do.

But anyway, Dareth ends up being a part of Lloyd's life when Lloyd's about 3 or 4, when he helps Misako escape from a mercenary Wu sent after her.

He leads the mercenary on a wild goose chase, pointing him up a fire escape instead of behind the dumpster where Misako was actually hiding with Lloyd, and then he offers Misako help.

She's wary of trusting an IronDragon, since she doesn't want her parents to get involved with any part of her or Lloyd's lives, but between the trembling toddler in her arms and the stab wound in her leg, she doesn't have many other options.

I haven't decided on how closely related Dareth and Misako are, or how well they knew each other before either left the Clan, but they do become close and refer to each other as cousins.

And Dareth quickly gains the title of Uncle from Lloyd.

      There’s a hint of annoyance in her mien, as she feels him messing up her hair. She didn’t expect him to have been there, let alone standby and let her take the reins, but he seemed impressed by the way she handled herself against the ruffians.

             “What was I supposed to do? Let them steal?”

      The men were almost twice her size, but they were beaten to a pulp, lying on the ground unconscious. It was their fault for assuming a child couldn’t stand a chance, and falling for the way she’d push their buttons— she was indeed a feisty one, confident & brave enough to take them on her own. Even the few passersby seemed to agree, as they cheered and whispered among themselves.

      She bends down to pick up the jewels they had stolen from the lapidary, thankful that everything seemed to be in place.

             “I’ll return these to the jeweler. Are you coming with me?”

Hector Handmade co-owners Jesse and Jennie spent a lot of time with @daphnedaylynne and @zelda_n_zeus curating an epic #ArtTakeover #PopUpGallery throughout the newly remodeled #StoneCatCafe! The artist we chose to feature when we were invited to fill the walls of the iconic eatery was @zelda_n_zeus #ChandraRoseRussell. Her vibrant #NaturePhotography compliments the new paint job and the energy of the space perfectly. We have featured her photography twice on our Gallery Wall and her last show was the last time StoneCat Cafe chef and founder Scott Signori was at Hector Handmade. Scott died last winter and the redesigned StoneCat is a memorial to his original vision. We love Scott dearly and are so proud of Daphne and the crew for their dedication. As Scott was dying his spiritual work led to dreams and visions of a dragon. Every year since Kailah was two and I was pregnant with Kamille I’ve taken them to Cedar Point once or twice a year so they’re used to rides and not scary like I became once I stopped going and got older. The last time we we were here was in 2019 and I had to force Kamille to ride the Mine Ride - which she ended up loving. Well a few days ago she decided she wants to ride a bunch of stuff this trip to include the Gatekeeper 🥴🥴🥴 dafuq?!?! Yeah her mom ain’t ready for that shit 🤦🏾‍♀️ First ride today she wanted to ride the Raptor but the wait was too long so thankfully she settled for the Iron Dragon. I was extremely disappointed with Steel Vengeance being closed the day I went to Cedar Point, but it was still a very fun day! As I tried to once again hit up every coaster I could, I also took the plunge on Snake River Falls and zipped across the sky on Frontier Fling with my cousin, and even got to ride the Iron Dragon with VR, taking me on a very realistic-feeling adventure in another world! Despite the change of plans with the new coaster, my visit was still very much enjoyable. A few questions for VT au

Im sure its obvious that misako belonged to the irondragon clan but does she ever tells garm or anyone else the details? Is her past ever gonna come bite her? Does she ever meet clouse in TOE? If so how does it go?

Garm knows everything about Misako's past and her family. It took her awhile to open up and tell him everything, but by the time of the plot kicking off he knows everything. Mystake knows a fair amount, but not everything.

I have a few ideas of how Misakos past could come back around. Some are more humorous, like Misako, Garm, Lloyd, Nya, Pixal, and the Ninja being at a party at the Imperial Palace thrown in honor of Wu's defeat and Garm's name being cleared of all crimes (the Emperor is trying to get on Garm's good side after seeing him absolutely demolish the Great Devourer) and running into her parents.

An event which ends with Misako cussing them out, pulling Garm into a dip kiss while flipping her parents off, dumping a platter of fancy finger food into her purse, and then leading her family and friends out to go get crappy pizza from Ninjago's version of Chuck E Cheese.

Something like that.

Others are more serious, like someone being sent by her parents finally finding her and almost kidnapping Lloyd before getting curb stomped by one or more of Lloyd's family members.

It's one of the things I haven't gotten narrowed down, but when I do it'll be a little interlude story between main story lines.

And she and Clouse do run into each other during ToE.

They fistfight eachother.

Little tidbit this made me think of: Garm doesn't realize who Clouse is at the beginning of the Tournament; Misako always called him something like 'Pencil-dick the Wannabe Wizard' on the rare occasion she talked about him.
