Yesterday while doing tera raids to get herba mystica, i randomly came across the exact Pokemon i had been planning to hunt. random shinies are always the most exciting!!! and im so happy to have my lil pea-colored kamen rider mantis!!!! shiny nymble is SO cute also i didnt get the colors exactly right.... its such a beautiful shade of yellow..... i want another one just to keep as a little baby

when I saw Kusuriuri's new look especially the hair for the movie I was like hm, this reminds me of something--

besides wanting to draw the new design I wanted to draw him with Hisuian Zorua! not only the white/red parts and yellow eyes match, the whole fox thing goes well w Kusu (plus in lore this Zorua is a revengeful spirit fox which goes well with the whole theme too)

I run a modded Minecraft server for my friends & me, & we run the spectacular Cobblemon mod (it's REALLY good, cannot recommend it enough). Not all the 'mons are modeled, though, so we ALSO are running a supplementary Cardboard Cutout Mon, which replaces the default "no model found" substitute doll with a flat sprite.

None of those sprites, however, have shiny forms, so I've been slowly digging through to rectify that :3 + add some additional forms that ain't there. Behold! The only edits I felt were substantial enough to post.

#pokemon #Hisuian Zorua #Hisuian Zoroark #Magearna #Zorua #Zoroark #pixel art #Shiny Edits #pokemon edits #gale chatter #okay you can see that like. if i can salvage a bit of the sprite i will. like magearna is largely unchanged #but for hisuian zoroark that wasn't possible. the design is so different i had to draw at least half that #& you can see that for the 'suians I'm breaking some 'rules' of the sprites (limited color palette) for the gradient effect #but I feel like this is a fair instance of that & am tryna keep it to a minimum #hisuian zoroark & zorua are modern pokemon that don't need to work with limited pixels & palettes & thus are designed accordingly #so in trying to translate them back i COULD self-impose those previous limits on myself but it literally wouldn't change the file size. #see at first i thought these were just like. the little menu sprites in the games. but i pulled a low key toxtricity in bc i couldn't find #& the size & style are not the same which implies that either 1) the modder got those sprites somewhere else or 2) made them all themselves #i cannot stress enough #hundreds. hundreds of sprites. like i cut out redundant sprites bc the mod hasn't been updated but it is taking me TIME to go back & shiny #also hey yeah the mod is for a prev version & the redundancies are giving me a HEADACHE if i ever fix this up maybe I post the mod tbh #see it doesn't sound that bad until u get biblically accurate cutiefly & texture error cacturne on your doorstep

Last batch of doodles for the trip...! I couldn't really draw everything towards the end because a lot happened and I didn't have a great time to sit down and just draw for a long time before having to pack things up and be ready to go home

This past month was wonderful, I'm going to miss my partner so much, but we'll see each other again sooner rather than later I'm sure 💜💜💜

So what are Emmet's pokemon's reaction to everything that occurs in the modern zoroark au. Were they aware before hand that Ingo was a zoroark or did they just think he was a weird human? Do they realize something is up with Emmet? Do they ever just refuse to attack Ingo and his pokemon?

They certainly knew that there was something unusual about Ingo! Zoroark possessed humans have a lingering Zoroark scent about them, but it's hard for non-Zoroark Pokemon to really establish what the origin of the odd scent is. It generally unnerves them and makes them wary... at least, at first. Which is to say that Emmet's Pokemon are very used to Ingo by the time everything goes to hell!

(Well. except for Klinklang. It just never noticed anything was abnormal in the first place, being an object mon.)

They DO recognize that something is up with their trainer, but they're loyal to him, so they still do what he says... even if it's painful and they don't understand why they have to fight against Ingo now.

Roshi's ire ignited, affronted by the Zoroark's proximity. Flames licked his maw, his eyes flooding with fury. “I AM HIS SUPERIOR, THAT’S WHO I AM!” Roshi roared. "AND I SEE IN MY RETIREMENT HE HAS BROUGHT WEAKLINGS IN MY PLACE!" 

Hikori knew he recognized Roshi from one of the many scrolls he caught his god reading. He was always curious, gawking at depictions of a great Arcanine in old Johto with amazement. His legend and deeds made a younger Hikori starstruck, eager to be a true guardian just like him. The hulking canine matched the painting weave inside the tapestry, almost lovingly.

His ferocity. His bravery. 

Hikori aspired to be like him. 

Now he retreated further behind Genji, body quivering, Roshi's bellow ringing in his ears. This wasn't the legend he grew up on.

Roshi raked his gaze upon Hikori, his eyes filled with disappointment and resentment. "And that runt is supposed to be our answer?! Don't make me laugh! He cowers behind a shadow!" 

Muzzle mere inches from the Zoroark, an oppressive heat blistering from his frame, his voice dropped to a lethal growl, "Get out of my way-”

"That's enough." Hikori firmly planted himself between them. He was afraid. So very afraid, his eyes never met Roshi's as he spoke. 

"So the coward speaks." 

"I'm no coward. I'm afraid," Hikori admitted, his voice shaking."But being afraid doesn't make me a coward." 

"Your little act of bravery isn't going to matter if this is all you have. What will you do when you face him, huh? Roll over?" 

"I won't. I can't." Hikori shook his head, stance firm, strong. "I'll worry about it later. I don't care if you're being mean to me but you're being an ass to my friend! Stop it!" 

Roshi blinked, the flames surrounding his jaws spurting out. There was a glimpse of genuine surprise in his eyes before it disappeared. He glared balefully at the Zoroark, dismissing the lot of them as he trotted towards the riverbank. 

Feeling the danger had passed, the last of Hikori's strength ebbed away, the Arcanine tumbling back on his hind legs, narrowly avoiding falling on his back. He glanced up at his friend with a lopsided smile. "Hi, Genji,” he breathed weakly.
