×××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××
As he stood there looking at her with dark clouded eyes with his hair all messed up from the intense fight, blood dripping down his knuckles onto his black boots, she saw the devil in him. The devil staring at her, telling her that he has finally came for his daughter. That he has finally found his worthy offspring to spread his bloodied rays into the world.
Stepping close to him, she looks into his red burning eyes as if she's gonna light him up on fire that very moment, as if she's going to draw out those popping veins in his eyes with her red nails.
Pushing his legs apart with hers she stands between them with her black heels on while her hands take his fist in hers and gently swipe off the blood off of them with her fingers and put them into her craving mouth, gently sucking onto them as if giving him the temptation of how she would treat his dick so good yet so rough between her cavities.
All this time her knees move up and down his already tightening up crotch, sometimes pushing it a bit too hard earning muffled up moans from him. Because he's a man. He cannot show how weak and needy his woman is making him feel now. Being done with sucking off all of his enemy's blood and injecting it into her system, her hands now move upto his neck to hold it tight and firm in place while her lips curve up into a satanic smile.
She quickly brings her mouth up to the bone protruding so prominent out of his neck and instantly plants her teeth onto the skin, pulling it with her canines making tears swell up in his eyes from the intense sting.
"If you thought I'll let his blood infuse into kine and make me impure, you're so wrong honey. I'll make sure that yours takes control on his and completely overpowers him. I want to see you overpower each and every individual on the face of this planet and be at the very top" and with that she bites into his skin at animalistic force and draws out blood like a vampire feasting on its meal after ages. As if a blood thirsty demon got the first taste of vanilla sweet blood burning with rage finally on her lips, all the while he cannot touch her or do anything to her because he was pinned down.
But she very well knew that she would be overturned in a minute if he truly tried for it. Having had enough of his woman being a brat he finally engulfed her legs by his and pushed her down onto the floor. He stood tall before her, while she lay on the cold marble with a sinister smirk knowing quite well what was coming next.
Bending down to her level the very first instinct he had was to rip off ever piece of clothing from her body, making her completely naked infront of the beast that was now to feast on the vulnerable little prey infront of him. Having his legs placed on both sides of her shaking ones, he took her lips in his. And no it was not a gentle kiss at all. It was a hungry, desperate one. One to prove how he will always have the upper hand over her, how she will just be a playtoy under him.
While his teeth pulled onto her lower lips, popping the slender veins there making blood drip down the corner of her mouth, his hands played with her boobs. More appropriately abused them. His nails drew deep and sharp around her supple jiggly skin, leaving behind deep rooted tracks of his invasion onto her body and soul and mind.
Shifting from her lips, he now focuses on slapping the living shit out of her breasts, earning constant pleas of mercy from her, knowing that the undertone in them was nothing but her asking for more brutality.
When he's finally done abusing her chest, leaving it all red with his hand prints, as if something turns in him and he gently places his mouth on her nipples and suckles onto it like a child feeding on his mother. But oh well isn't his entire persona deceiving? While his mouth work like a complete gentleman around her mounds, his fingers find her throbbing clit and aggressively rubs it's like it's some sort of enemy he needs slain down.
Her eyes rolled from the intense pain and pleasure that her body was feeling at the same time. She licks off her own blood from her mouth and slightly pushes up her head as if to see what is happening to her bare body, only to find that it's a red hill down there. Every part of her skin is burning aflame. And in that very painful moment, he quickly unzips the tent in his pants and brings out his rock hard dick to now graze up and down her sloppy cunt.
Never giving her the pleasure to feel him inside her, while she claws out his toned back, he slaps the tip of his dick onto her throbbing pussy and sometimes teases her hole with it by pressing it a bit down and taking it out immediately. Not being able to take the torment anymore she takes things into her hand and harshly slaps him across the face.
That was his last string. How dare a bitch have the audacity to slap a man like him. And with that he presses himself in her in seconds without any warning, without giving her the time to even adjust to him.
"You wanted it so bad you whore hmm? How you like daddy's dick tearing up your walls into shreds now huh" he runts into her soft delicate hole like a complete animal gone feral, like a tiger getting a good meat after days.
He could see tears rolling down her eyes onto the floor from his intense thrusts, him completely ruining her pussy for the new few days so that she remembers he is who she belongs to, every inch of her body belongs to him and is only for him to ravish and eat and feast on.
With one more push down her cunt, he feels his high riding him as he releases all his anger, frustration into her, making his cum ooze out of her swelled up walls, mixed with some traces of blood from the intense abuse.

A 14 point outline of Silver’s character in the games and Sonic Channel
Rude punk(yes, he is very rude and in Japanese he speaks with punk mannerisms) with a good heart and strong sense of justice.
Kind-hearted altruist that wants to “protect smiles” and make people happy because he grew up in a world where everyone lived in despair.
Taurus that is direct and blunt, he hides almost nothing and is straightforward in his actions and thinking. His words and actions are also dominated by his feelings and he is so honest that he cannot lie(though he can change the subject).
Pure person with an “honest, unpretentious and kind demeanor”. His genuineness endears people to him and makes them want to support him(this is why Blaze likes him, he’s the opposite of the stuck up lying politicians she has to deal with). He is forthright in every sense of the word.
Determind optimist that believes there’s always hope as long as you don’t give up(quote from JP Forces). He has positive energy that inspires people and gives hope to others during both disasters and personal issues like performance anxiety.
Talented and skilled, almost hyper competent professional(He takes offense to being treated like an amateur) that uses his (thinking) mind to solve problems(He does this in all of his major game roles). He makes steady efforts to improve his abilities and can skillfully do many things from odd job Town Missions around Soleanna to being a “genius” skating coach. He is sharp and perceptive enough to solve mysteries, puzzles and see through Eggman’s plans. His naivete makes him low wisdom but not low intellect.
Pragmatist with a cut straight to the point mentality that doesn’t care about details like plan names(Sonic Forces). He is very focused on his current goals(even during sports, he says he likes the Jade Wisp because it lets him disappear and focus on racing), is ruthless in what he’s willing to do to save the future and takes his mission as seriously as Blaze takes her’s.
When not on missions however, Silver is a fun loving young person that goes on journeys by himself, enjoys sightseeing, has a mischievous side and engages in cheerful activities. He truly loves the world and enjoys making people smile. He will drop his mission to help those in need. He is also a good friend and often shown to like apples.
Abrasive, snide and sarcastic. He is blunt with others and snotty towards opposition.
Proud warrior that fought and struggled for half his life(so since he was a small child). This means that he’s a natural fighter, has aggressive body language and intense expressions(even when playing sports or just doing anything he’s focused on), enjoys fighting, can “call forth great power without mercy”(i.e kill people), has an instant fight response when surprised(Sonic Generations), can endure great pain(undeterred by being kicked in the head in 06 or shred across the street in Generations), recklessly faces danger, values bravery and dislikes cowardice(Sonic Rivals, Team Vector Interview) and is overall rough and tough(he’s not frail because he’s a psychic, he is athletic and has evenly physically brawled Shadow, Sonic and Knuckles. He's just slow for a hedgehog).
Easily angered, aggressive and headstrong(like Blaze), He is competitive and doesn’t take slights lying down.
Juvenile, outgoing and emotionally immature/unfiltered(opposite of Blaze), can be reckless and rash/quick to rush or take things too head on because of the strength of his feelings, so he benefits from having stoic composed partners(Blaze/Espio/Shadow) to pull him back.
Can get riled up. When he’s into something he gives it his all (I’m giving this every thing I’ve got!). When fired up, his unfiltered feelings can sometimes cause him to get a bit carried away in the heat of a moment(Olympic Games victory animations) or be a bit dramatic(Olympic Games loss animations). He is brash and passionate and wild. He can get indignant, be impatient and vicious towards things that get in his way but that all stems from a his sheer love for the world, feels anger and joy loudly.
Can also be quiet and introspective. He is contemplative, sentimental and appreciates little things. He is left breathless and at peace when seeing blue skies, beautiful environments or people living prosperously. He doesn’t say anything when something is on his mind, silently ponders his doubts and concerns, and serenely enjoys wonders of the world(“Isn’t that impressive?”, he says of the legend of Revival Bridge), feels sadness and contemplation quietly
It should also be noted that Silver is an AB blood type character which in Japanese culture denotes being aloof, dual natured and hard to pin down. Hence Silver being difficult to understand for many people.

Breathe
Rayla shifted nervously, trying desperately to ignore the hollow pit of fear in her belly. The sun was slowly rising over the frozen landscape, bathing the entire sky in soft pink light. If anything, this should be pretty or exciting, but all she felt was dread.
Being on the ground, something solid beneath her feet, she felt like she could stand a fighting chance against most obstacles, but out there, in the endless sky…? Well, that was something else entirely.
“You’re going to love flying, Rayla,” Callum spoke hurriedly, checking his pack over one last time. “The wind in your hair, fresh breeze all around… the freedom.” He sighed, sounding excited and happy.
Which she should at least have been trying to be too. The last thing she wanted was to ruin his good mood.
“I feel free enough up here, thank you very much.” Swallowing past her dry mouth, she leaned a little closer to the edge, trying to drum up even a little of the enthusiasm that was radiating off Callum. Taking a deep breath in an effort to calm herself, she once again tried to push the fear and anxiety from her mind. “It sure is a long way down.”
“Well, look on the bright side, that’s a long way for you to fall while you figure flying out before you hit the ground.” Callum closed his bag, swinging it over his shoulder as he stood up to join her.
Rayla glanced at him, then back to the endless clouds before them.
Were they birds down there… or dragons? They just looked like circling specks; it was impossible to tell exactly what they were from so high up-
“Hey,” Callum stepped a little closer to her, his hand moving to caress her chin, tilting her head up and away from the terrifying drop.
Rayla swallowed as she gazed up at him, all thoughts of cliffs and falling and wings suddenly vacating her mind as her heart raced in her chest.
“You’re going to be fine, Rayla.” Callum smiled softly at her, his thumb gently moving across her skin. “I’ll be with you the whole time, alright? There’s nothing to worry about.”
“That’s easy for you to say,” despite how lightheaded and shaky she was at the feel of his hand on her face, she couldn’t help but laugh at his confident assertion. “You’ve never been afraid of flying.”
Callum scoffed, rolling his eyes. “What? Of course I was-”
“Sure, people who are afraid of flying regularly jump off cliffs on their first day-”
Callum swallowed, his hand trembling ever so slightly. “I was way more afraid of losing you.”
“Oh,” It came out barely above a whisper, Callum’s big green eyes and soft smile all she could focus on in that moment.
Callum held her gaze, sighing softly as his thumb continued to stroke her face. Taking a little shuddering breath, he leaned in closer to her and Rayla closed her eyes, her own breath catching in her throat. He kissed her softly, like a gentle breeze across her lips and her mind spun just from that. A moment later he leaned back, just a fraction, his hand still on her face and a soft smile on his lips.
“Together?” He asked, his voice soft in the small space between them.
Feeling like she could finally breathe, Rayla smiled back at him. “Together.”

Finale -> Lyney
plot: you and lyney can't really "agree" on the terms of your sudden breakup.
(cws: yandere!lyney, gn!darling, good ol' male manipulating, jealousy & cheating accusations, threats, crying, breakup angst w/ fluffy ending)
wc: 2k
Tumblr media
It generally took very little for Lyney to find issue with something you'd done. Your partner was not callous or cruel by any means–in fact, he was often quite kind and caring, moreso than most others you'd met in your day-to-day life.
But if he was anything, Lyney was, well…devoted. Dedicated might be a more professional word, but the devotion of Fontaine's most prominent magician could not be understated nor ignored. Lyney was a performer, an artist, a man of great talent and greater loyalty, and nothing on the soil of Teyvat–not an ocean nor a rippling puddle–could tear him away from someone he proclaimed to love and adore. Nor would he ever allow someone he had devoted himself to be ripped from his embrace.
That was exactly where you found yourself now. The breakup had not gone well…Lyney had taken it quite badly. If the tears and desperate pleas for you not to leave weren't enough, the begging and tugging on your sleeves as he tried not to let you step away from him was simply too much to bear. He switched from devastation to fury in moments, flipping between one and another like an absolute crazed madman. He swapped between sobbing, begging to know what he'd done to ordering you through spiteful tears to tell him who the “other man” was, as if he were flipping one of his coveted playing cards. He grew so unhinged so quickly even Lynette had to get between the two of you to calm him down, and it just made it so much more of an ugly mess.
“Please, just think about it. My brother really loves you. Can't you two work it out?” Her words had come from a loving place, you knew, but it was simply not in the cards for you any longer.
You'd long grown sick of Lyney's jealousies, his possessiveness, his hunger for you that overwhelmed all common sense at all the wrong times and places. He wouldn't give you space and he wouldn't take no for an answer whenever you swore you would never leave him. It was his own fault that you had to go back on all those promises he never believed.
Now, all you had to do was pack your things. Lynette had graciously let you know when he was supposed to be out so you could come and collect them in peace, without starting another argument. But so very like her; she neglected to tell you that she'd also informed Lyney of when you were coming, and by the time you stepped into his room your breath caught in your throat at the sight of him. It was instantly too late to leave. You sighed, and your former lover's ears perked up as he sat back on his chair by the desk. Clearly, he had stayed to wait up for you.
“...And where is this attitude coming from?” He bit at you with a snark that had never before been directed at you in particular. You elected simply to say nothing; it would be best for both of you not to say a word. So while he stewed in his own feelings across the room, you shuffled over to the wardrobe right by the door and started stuffing things into the bag you'd brought, whatever you could reach. His violet eyes glowed with frustration, burning holes right through your back like lasers.
“Don't, Lyney. Please.” Your timid voice interrupted the tense silence that followed. At once you felt the air shift, and heard the sigh of Lyney behind you that warned you of an impending change of heart. Him being angry at you was all a farce. In truth he hated to show any irritation towards you at all, and even in relatively harmless fights he would always end up folding much sooner than you ever thought to as he despised not having your favour. The creak of the chair echoed in the small chamber, as did his footsteps as he methodically made his way towards you. Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap.
Your fingers twitched as he took in a breath just a hair's length from your neck.
“I miss the scent you always leave on my pillow…” He muttered quietly. You said nothing. He took a strand of your hair between his gloved fingers, and it took everything within you not to cringe in anticipation of him ripping it out of your head. “I tried to use the soap you wash it with, but it just smells like nothing without you. It's not even worth the money.” He leaned forward, eyes closed, and delicately pressed a kiss to the nape of your neck.
Oh. Why had you let him do that? Why were you letting him still get closer, his chest and his hips meeting yours from behind? You didn't even make a move to flinch at the contact, and that was all that would have stopped Lyney if you had the guts to do it.
Perhaps the answer was obvious. You didn't want him to pull away.
“...You know, if you come back to me, I'll buy it for you from now on.” Now came the bargaining again. Lyney's hands moved upwards to brace your hips, and although you moved your own palm over one of them, your muscles still refused to contract and tug his off of you. Lyney slowly started to sway with you, taking hold of you like a little porcelain doll to posture as he pleased. This dance was so familiar–he would do this every time you stood at any counter, and distract you from whatever you were doing–and it was the nostalgia, you realized, that was stopping you.
“Lyney, we're broken up.” Your lip wobbled while you swung that truth at him like a weapon. But he seemed…unaffected. His words had no tinge of hurt nor malice like they had before.
“We can get back together.” He whispered against the shell of your ear. “All this will go away. I can make all the bad things go away. I can get rid of whoever's pulling you from me-”
“Lyney, I told you there was nobody else.” You broke away from his touch, away from those fingers that crept down your sides and the hug he'd been holding you in from behind. You stepped away and turned to face him, your conviction still not as unwavering now that you'd allowed yourself a moment to bask in Lyney's attention.
“And I told you that you're a damned liar, sweetheart.” Lyney suddenly spoke through gritted teeth, though his smile remained albeit much more tense and nowhere near the vicinity of reaching his eyes. “I'm sure it was that ginger rat that was sniffing around you, but I told you, I've already forgiven you. Plus, he's out of the picture–there's nothing keeping us apart anymore.”
“Lyney, stop! Can you just stop? Why can't you ever just believe me when I tell you anything?” The huff in your tone barely moved the needle for Lyney this time. He was clearly too wrapped up in the gleam of your eyes and the soft press of your lips together as you spoke to take in anything you were saying.
“You're so beautiful when you're angry.”
“You're not listening to me.”
“Kiss me.”
How many times had your arguments culminated into this? Into Lyney grabbing your waist against your will, all smiles and teasing giggles, as he blew puffs of air against your skin until your composure broke? He darted forward with eager lips to try and catch you, just barely backing you into the wardrobe, and on the third try he actually cracked your facade–his desperate kissy sounds and gentle tickling actually made you laugh. Really laugh, for the first time in what felt like ages. And for perhaps the first time, he didn't claim his prize once he figured he'd won. He stood back, hands still gripping you gently, and just watched as you laughed and snorted at how bad his aim was. “Just like always,” You said, and that part hit a nerve within him.
“Come back to me.” He faced you with a serious disposition yet again, and although you balked and rolled your eyes at the moment growing tense yet again, he persisted. “Let's forget this. I'll do better.”
“No you won't, Lyney.” You sighed. “You never change.”
“I will for you.” He swore, moving closer to keep your gaze as if losing it would mean losing this battle he was fighting so hard. “I'll change. I'll be better. I'll do anything for you. Anything.”
“Will you? Change, I mean?” You hesitated even to ask, but Lyney did more than answer. He dropped to his knees right there, his hat tumbled away and off to the side. He wouldn't look up at you with anything but doe eyes, his chin resting snugly against your soft stomach as he held your waist in his arms from below.
“I love you more than life itself. I'll be a better man, I swear. I'll change. I'll change right now! I won't…I won't ever doubt you again.” He nuzzled his face deeper into your belly. He clearly must have missed you at least twice as much as you expected, since he seemed to shudder in pure bliss at just the warmth of your skin through your clothes–a reprieve you had no idea he wanted to claw his eyes out over the fear of losing. He spoke again from the muffled depths of your shirt. “Just come back to me. I'm sorry I never believed you when you said you wouldn't leave. I won't hold it against you–I drove you away, didn't I? It's my fault. I-I deserve it, but I…” He sniffled, and turned his cheek to your stomach instead to keep from soiling your clothes with his tears. “...I just want you back. I feel like I can't breathe without you, my darling. Please come back, and I'll fix everything.”
And in the midst of so many conflicting feelings, you stood there and let him cry. Although this time was brief and much less charged than when you'd first broken up with him, in this moment you let your body move on its own to soothe his pained woes. Your fingers slid through his blond locks and stroked him, trailing over his scalp in waves that instantly calmed Lyney down. You fidgeted with the ends of his hair with your other hand as well, mindlessly combing through those messy stray hairs that you always watched him tuck back into place before a performance. You did love Lyney. As much as you wanted to hate his attitude towards your separation, you could only feel sympathy now–it was a dangerous game you were playing with someone as manipulative as he could be, but you didn't know that, at least not well. You had no idea that even now, those gentle sobs were nothing but crocodile tears.
Lyney did well to shield you from all that. And when your knees started to buckle, and your strong will began showing cracks, your ex-lover went in for the kill with one last, yearning look up at you, eyes glistening with fresh tears.
“Please, baby?”
You were finished. The words didn't even register as they tumbled out of your mouth–all you knew was that in a moment, Lyney was up on his feet and he was hugging you tight, nearly crushing your bones as he promised ad nauseum that he wouldn't waste this precious chance. He would be better, he would do better, he would listen and be more attentive and not be so pushy–and though you only believed half of those promises in the moment, the desperation with which he kissed you and the squeeze of his arms trapping you in a tearful hug inflated some sense of belonging within you.
At least with Lyney you felt wanted. You felt desired, needed, not like a piece of furniture or a token but as someone who literally laid the ground for him to walk on. He wouldn't dare breathe an ounce of air if you weren't around to give him a reason to. And as bad as it might turn out to be when the people closest to you start going missing….at the very least, the man who refuses to live without you will only get closer and closer to your side, desperate to earn that approval of yours that he coveted more than all the Mora in the gods' universe.

raah im obsessed w how u draw angus... do u have any hc for him? i love reading ur hc for everyone eep 💕💕💕💕💕💕 (also yeah happy pride month)
Angus omg, he's THE character:
Italian mafia boss, that's an obvious one
Wanted on 42 countries for multiple crimes such as scamming, robbery, torture and the list goes on.
He does most of his meetings and deals on a local bar near the building.
One night he saw a lonely, sad and miserable man about to pass out at the bar, though it was weird he had barely touched his drink. He thought this would be a great chance to scam another poor man and take whatever he had on his pockets, but as he started chatting and noticing they live in the same place, he ended up befriending him, and that's how he met Francis.
Nacha absolutely despises him, she does not trust him for anything, and when she sees Francis hanging out with him she keeps her distance. Also when it's Francis' turn to take care of Ana, she makes it very clear to keep Angus away for those days. Spoiler, he shows up anyway and likes to show his cheating secrets to her, and he's also teaching her how to drive (like a maniac, this man never uses the brakes).
Is always prepared to fight against doppels, just when they plant a foot inside his apartment he's already there, sitting so confortable and smiling at them, already pointing and not even taking him 3 seconds to shoot.
No one in the building besides Francis and Margarette (just bc the sweet naive person she is) likes him, always trying to sell crap to everyone or get money from them in any way possible.
Despite being someone so hungry for money, the only person he doesn't take money from and even pays everything for is Francis (is not like he can't afford it, but he's just so tired from working he never has the energy to go for groceries).
BONUS: He pranks Francis on his birthday, either getting a good scare out of him or dropping things on him (last time he was entering his apartment and a bucket of scarlet milk dropped all over him, that lead poor Francis to buy a new uniform).

Singin’ In The Rain
Summary: When Will overhears Don Callis harassing a beautiful woman, he can’t help but stop and help her. But when Callis hears Will call her love, it sets off a chain reaction no one could have anticipated.
Warnings: mob au, talk of violence, angst, threats, fighting, fluff, love at first sight ish?, they’re both smitten, this is not a slow burn
A/N: I’m super excited to share my first Will fic!!!! I hope you all love and enjoy. There will definitely be a part two, but fair warning, it’ll be slow to come out😂 thank you so much to @madhatterbri for helping me out, and getting me obsessed with Will😂💚 and @hotgirlgraps , hopefully this fuels your growing appreciation for Will😂🫶
Tumblr media
Y/N pressed play on her playlist, and as Singin' in the Rain filled her cafe she let a comfortable smile rest on her lips.
She walked to the door to flip the open sign on, and couldn't help but laugh as she saw one of her regulars waiting.
She opened the door to greet the old man happily. "Good morning Mr.Emerson"
"Morning Y/N" he smiled back, walking in as she held the door for him.
Y/N bounced back to behind the counter. "Would you like the usual?"
"You know it" the old man nods.
She grabs a bag with two cinnamon rolls she had already packaged and holds them out to him. "Here's these to snack on while I make your tea"
He laughs and reaches into his pocket to retrieve his wallet.
"Mr.Emerson" Y/N chides playfully. "I tell you everyday, that is not necessary. You've been here almost everyday since I opened"
"I don't argue, do I?" He teases.
"No" Y/N laughs. "Because you put it in the tip jar instead"
"You deserve it hon" He replies, putting the bills into the yellow jar.
Y/N smiles, warmth filling her chest from the sweet man. "Well, thank you, Mr.Emerson. Your tea will be right out"
The man nods, and sits down in his usual cushioned seat by the window to people-watch.
Y/N hummed along to the music softly playing as she made his honey tea.
She poured it into a light green cup with a matching saucer before picking it up, and walking around the counter to bring it to him.
"Here you go" she smiles.
"Thank you" he smiles.
She nods before retreating to the counter. Mr.Emerson was always the best part of her day. He started coming as soon as it opened 3 years ago, and had come almost every single morning since.
She had formed relationships with many people from the community since opening, some sweet like Mr.Emerson.
And some are not quite as sweet.
And that rang true when she heard the bell ring, and looked up to see none other than Don Callis parade inside with Hobbs close behind him.
Y/N didn't mind Hobbs, she knew him before he had joined the Callis family and they got along well.
But she knew to steer clear of Callis, she had been told that by Taz Senerchia himself.
She had grown up next door to the Senerchias, and was very close with them.
Taz always made sure to look out for her, even sending men to watch over her when situations got tense.
Everyone knew her association with Taz, he made sure of it. As one of the most powerful mob leaders in the city, he wanted it known that no one should ever put their hands on Y/N or her store.
She was thankful for this, but it made it awkward when members of other mobs came in. Especially other leaders.
"Y/N, dear!" Callis greets, a deceptive smile on his face.
"Good morning" Y/N nods to him. "Mornin' Hobbs"
Hobbs nods and sends a small smile back to her.
She takes their orders, and silently starts making their drinks as Callis stares her down.
Y/N does her best to avoid any eye contact with him, and cringes when he speaks again.
"So Y/N, I heard Taz has been looking to make some expansions in his business"
"I wouldn't know anything about that" Y/N answers stiffly, but worry begins building in her gut.
She kneels down behind the counter like she has to grab something. But she instead quickly pulls her phone out of her apron pocket and sends Hook, Taz's son, a message that Callis is there asking questions.
Callis leans against the counter, watching her like a hawk as she stands back up. "Oh, come on now. We both know that's not true. They must have mentioned something over family dinner"
"I'm not involved with anything Taz has going on. You know that" Y/N insists through gritted teeth.
"I know you’d parents were-" Callis is cut off by the bell on the door ringing, and Y/N couldn't be more thankful.
She looked up, but froze when she saw who waltzed in.
"Ospreay" Callis practically growls at the smiling man.
"Hello" Will grins nonchalantly.
Y/N had never properly met Will. She'd seen him once or twice leaving Taz's after a meeting, or at a gala she accompanied Hook to so he didn't have to bother finding a date, but they'd never spoken.
"Why don't you boys just get your drinks and not bother the pretty lady?" Will asks charmingly, before sending a dazzling smile to Y/N. "Morning love"
"Good morning" she mumbles softly, heat rushing to her cheeks as she finishes up the drinks.
"Thank you, have a nice day" Y/N says. She hands them their coffees and Callis immediately stomps out.
Hobbs sends her a parting smile before following quickly behind.
"Sorry about all the fuss" Will apologizes with a sheepish smile.
But Y/N shakes her head. "No, thank you! I don't think they would have left me alone if it wasn't for you"
That makes Will grin, and puff his chest out a little with pride. "Always happy to help"
"Well" Y/N takes a deep breath, regrouping from the whirlwind of emotions that she just had. "Would you like some breakfast for your troubles?"
"It was no trouble at all" Will insists. "But some breakfast does sound quite nice. What would you suggest darling?"
Y/N blushes again, and Will can't stop the proud and goofy smile that grows on his face at seeing her cheeks turn pink.
"The um, the chai is my favorite. I make mine with oat milk. But the milk tea is another really good one. And there's a lot of different coffees if you're not a tea person" Y/N rambles.
"I'll take a chai love. And a slice of that banana bread too please, it looks amazing" Will orders.
"Coming right up" Y/N happily turns to start his order.
“Lovely song” Will notes after hearing her humming along.
Y/N grins at him over her shoulder. “It’s one of my favorites. The movie too. Singing in the rain is a classic”
I haven’t seen it. Maybe we could watch it together sometime?”
But then the door busts open, and Will whips around. His friendly posture quickly changes to defensive and strong, but he relaxes when he sees Hook running in.
"Where are they?" Hook asks urgently, rushing behind the counter and over to Y/N.
"They're gone" Y/N immediately answers, placing her hands on his arms as he scans her for any injuries.
He cups her face with his hands and stares into her eyes. "They didn't touch you, did they? I'll kill them" he growls.
"No, I'm completely fine Tyler" Y/N comforts with a soft smile. She brushes some hair out of his eyes as she speaks. "They were just asking questions. And then Mr.Ospreay got them to leave"
"No need for Mr., darling" Will grins. "Just call me Will"
Hook's eyes snap over to Will, and his arms move to be wrapped around Y/N's waist. "Why are you here Ospreay? You starting stuff with Callis in her shop?" His eyes narrow dangerously.
Will raises his hands in surrender. "I didn't mean to cause anything Hook"
"I won't tolerate you bringing issues around her, and neither will my dad" Hook threatens, his grip on Y/N tightening defensively.
"I just saw them bothering her and wanted to help. That's all" Will assures.
"He didn't do anything Tyler, I promise" Y/N insists. "They wouldn't have left if it wasn't for him"
Hook looks down at her, and only to her would he let his hard eyes show a little worry. "But now they may think you're involved with him somehow. They could come around here more often to look for him. They have a personal vendetta against him"
Will wants to object, but he really couldn't. He hadn't thought about that before he interrupted. If Callis thinks he cares for Y/N, he wouldn't be above coming after her. He wouldn't hesitate. "I didn't mean to start any trouble, Hook, honestly. I didn't think about it like that"
"No, you didn't!" He snaps, letting Y/N go and circling the counter. "From what I hear you don't think through much! Callis will go after anyone he thinks is associated with you!"
"Tyler!" Y/N exclaims, making both men look over at her. "Stop causing a scene in my cafe!"
Hook huffs, before doing as told and taking a step back from Will. He crosses his arms and leans against the counter while glaring at Will.
"It was just one interaction" Y/N says. "We don't know that Callis will think anything of it. I'll be fine. I'm a big girl and can take care of myself"
Y/N woke up that night to a crash.
She jumped up and looked around as her basset hound, who was soundly asleep by her feet, growled.
"What is it, Charles?" She nervously asks, before fishing around in her bedside table's drawer for her taser that Taz had gifted her.
She walks out of her room with Charles trailing behind, and peaks around the corner to her living room.
She doesn't see a person, but there's a brick lying on the floor along with shattered class from her window that was now busted.
She approaches the brick, and her eyes widen when she sees a note wrapped around it.
She picks it up, and she can feel her heart practically beating out of her chest at the words.
Your little boyfriend will agree to our terms, or we will be back
Y/N paced back and forth as she stood in her cafe the next morning.
She was terrified that Callis would show up, and at first, she wasn't even going to open today and instead run right to Taz and tell him what happened.
But then she realized it would cause a war between the Senerchias and Callis, and she didn't want to put them through that just for her.
But on the other hand, she didn't know how she could keep this a secret from them.
As all the nerves screamed in her head, there was one person she had no doubt she needed to inform.
So here she was, glancing up anxiously every time someone walked by, hoping Will would show up so she could talk to him.
And at 11 o'clock he finally walked in with that same handsome smile. "Morning love!"
Y/N walked around the counter and practically ran over to him. "I need to talk to you"
"About?" Will asks slowly, watching her turn off the open sign.
"This" She pulls the note out of the pocket on her apron and shoves it into his chest before grabbing his hand and pulling him to the back.
He read the note as she led him up the stairs to her apartment, which was above the cafe.
He felt a cold chill run through his body at the words. He never intended to get her wrapped up in any of this, he simply wanted to flirt with a pretty woman. "I... I am so sorry"
"It's.." Y/N trails off, staring down at her carpet. "It's okay Will.."
"No, it isn't" he insists. "I never meant to put you in any danger"
"I'm used to being in danger" She answers softly.
Will just looks over at the broken window, his frown resembling a kicked puppy.
Y/N felt sadness forming in her chest at his face. "I know you didn't mean to cause any of this Will"
"I'll do whatever it takes to protect you" he pledges. "Anything it takes to keep you safe. Have you told Taz?"
Y/N shakes her head. "I almost did. But I don't want him to start a war with Callis over me. I thought you may know what I should do"
"I do" he nods. "The fewer people who know this the better. Callis must see you as the perfect target. He's been making moves into Taz's territory recently, and he hates me"
Y/N nods softly, as fear takes root throughout her body.
Will sees her stiffen, and her breathing starts picking up as the reality of this situation becomes clearer to her. "Hey, hey, hey, it'll be okay"
"Will it?" She breathes out. "What if he gets to me? I- I've heard what he's capable of. Wh-What he's done to people-"
"Listen to me love" Will coaxes her to sit down on the couch, and he kneels in front of her, placing his hands on her knees and looking her in the eye. "I am going to keep you safe. I caused this, and I'm going to fix it"
Y/N nods silently, looking at Will through the tears in her eyes.
"Why do you care what happens to me?" She asks after a moment. "You don't even know my name"
Will chuckles at that. "That is something we'll have to fix love. Because I'm gonna be around for a while. I wouldn't let anyone get hurt because of my big mouth"
Y/N giggles at that, making Will smile back at her. He was proud to have been able to make her laugh at that moment despite the circumstances.
"Y/N" she softly says. "My name is Y/N"
"Y/N" Will echoes. "That's a beautiful name love"
"Thank you" she replies bashfully.
"I, um" Y/N stumbles over her words as she stands up. "I should go check on Charles"
"Charles?" Will asks. He had just met Y/N, but the thought of her possibly being in a relationship made his stomach drop.
"Yeah, my dog" Y/N answers.
Will let out a breath at her explanation, and watched as she walked to her bedroom door and opened it.
A cute little basset hound came trotting out, ears dragging on the floor as he stared at Will.
Will smiled and kneeled down to hold out his hand. "Hey little guy"
But the dog's eyes narrow, and he lets out a bark before standing in front of Y/N defensively.
"Charles!" Y/N exclaims. She leans down to pick him up, and pets his head. "I'm sorry about that, he's usually very gentle"
"It's alright love" Will waves it off. "He's gotta protect his mama, don't you boy?"
"He wouldn't leave my side for the rest of the night" Y/N sighs. "He hasn't gotten much sleep at all"
"I'm sure he'll get some rest today" Will replies, a sympathetic look on his handsome face.
"Will.." Y/N sighs as she sets Charles down by her feet. "I have to tell Taz. He's like my father, I can't keep this from him"
Will is quiet for a moment, mulling over the circumstances in his head. He understood where she was coming from, and to be honest he didn't see a downside to telling Taz.
It was Hook he was worried about. Judging by his attitude in the cafe, it made him worried that Hook would try to confront Callis.
And admittedly, he was nervous about what Hook would do to him.
"I know it's a lot to consider" Y/N interrupts Will's thoughts. "But they're my family"
Will walks over to her and takes her hands in his before he nods. "I understand love"
Y/N froze for a moment, her heartbeat quickening as he cradled her hands like they were the most fragile thing.
"I've gotta head to the store to grab the stuff to fix your window. Call them over and explain. I'll be back soon" Will says.
"No, Will, I can get the window fixed" Y/N frowns, but her eyes widen as he places a finger against her lips.
Will wasn't one to freeze, but he couldn't deny he had when she stared up at him with curious doe eyes, his finger pressed against her lips. He couldn't help but imagine those lips against his own.
He shook his head quickly, regaining his train of thought. "This whole mess is my fault Y/N, I insist"
"O-Okay" She stutters out, cheeks bright pink as she stares up at him.
"Excuse me?"
Y/N stiffened as those words flew out of Hook's mouth.
She, Hook, and Taz were seated around her dining table, and she had just explained the situation to them.
She saw how tightly Hook was now gripping the fork in his hand, and she could feel his bouncing leg shaking the table.
Meanwhile, Taz was silent. Too silent.
She knew he was angry, she could tell by his tense jaw and clenched fists. She appreciated that he was trying to keep his cool, as he always did. It made her feel more grounded, like if Taz could be calm she could too. But Y/N wasn't oblivious to the fact that he was certainly upset under the surface.
"He didn't do it on purpose Ty" Y/N mumbles nervously. "He was just trying to get Callis to leave me alone"
"Why would he flirt with you like that right in front of Callis?!" Hook demands. "Why was he doing it at all for that matter?!"
"Tyler" Taz says his name sternly. "We are past that now. We have to focus on the situation at hand; which is how to keep Y/N safe"
"I know how" Hook fumes. "We get her as far away from Will as possible. Make it clear she has no connection with him at all"
"We don't know that Callis would believe it" Taz counters. "If Y/N is sent away it may look like Will is pulling out all the stops in order to protect her. It could just solidify his position"
"So we do nothing?!" Hook asks incredulously.
"I didn't say that" Taz immediately snaps, sending his son a warning look. "I would like to discuss how to go forward with Will"
"He'll be back soon" Y/N spoke up. "He went to get the stuff to fix my window"
Taz frowned at her red-tinted eyes; it was clear she was very scared, and he couldn't stand it. He promised her parents long ago that he would protect her. So he stood up, and Y/N followed him to the living room where they both sat on the couch.
"Hey, hon, look at me" Taz places his hand on her shoulder.
She does as told, and Taz gently smiles. "I'm gonna do whatever it takes to keep you safe, you understand me? Anything"
Y/N nodded and leaned over to hug his torso. "Thank you, Taz"
Taz smiled as her head rested against his chest, and rubbed up and down her back. "Of course hon. No one's gonna hurt you, not while we're around"
Hook nodded, and stood up to walk over to them. He sat in the space next to her and put his hand on her shoulder. "We'll do whatever it takes"
"You guys always make me feel safe" Y/N smiles sleepily.
Taz just smiles, and rocks her back and forth like he used to do when she was little.
She dozed off into a peaceful sleep, a soft smile stuck on her face.
But as soon as Taz was sure she was out minutes later, a hard look overtook his features. "We're gonna do whatever is necessary to make this problem go away"
Hook immediately nods. "Want me to reach out to Hobbs?"
"Absolutely" Taz answers. "I don't give a damn about Ospreay. I'll deliver his head to Callis on a platter if that's what it takes"
But what neither man realized was Charles had brushed against her foot. He had woken her up and she heard their words.
Y/N sat awkwardly in her orange beanbag, glancing every so often between the two Senerchia men and Will.
Taz and Hook were whispering to each other in the kitchen. And Charles was also curled up at Hook's feet, glaring at Will too.
Will was doing his best to ignore their nasty looks and focus on the broken window.
"Are you sure you don't want me to call someone to fix that Will? I don't want you getting hurt" Y/N said.
But Will just sends her a charming smile. "Don't worry about me love, I've got it covered. I'm rather good with my hands"
Hook's scoff could be heard from a mile away.
Will ignored Hook's clear disdain, instead reveling in the flustered and blushy look on Y/N's gorgeous face.
"Are we entirely sure Callis is actually wrong in his assumption about those two?" Taz mumbles to Hook with a chuckle.
But Hook just huffs and crosses his arms. "She's not getting involved with him, he's got way too many enemies"
Taz raises an eyebrow. "So do we son"
"But he's different" Hook whispers sharply. "He's so nonchalant about everything. He doesn't think things through. He's dangerous for her. And her dad never would have approved of this"
"On the contrary" Taz laughs. "Will reminds me of her father. And you sound like Y/N's mother's father when she got involved with him"
"Y/N's dad was very level-headed" Hook counters, remembering the man from his childhood.
"Once he settled down with Kimberly, sure" Taz laughs, reminiscing about his friends. "But Max was not always like that. When they first met it was actually because he was running from the cops. He ran into her parent's shop to hide, and she was the only one working at the time. She let him hide out there, against her better judgment as she always said. He wouldn't stop flirting with her until she said she'd give him to the cops herself if he didn't"
"That sounds like Aunt Kim" Hook smiles softly.
"She was always so strong" Taz sadly smiles. "They started sneaking around together, and before they knew it Kim got pregnant. He thought it was just a given they'd get married then, but she said no. She told him, if you're gonna be with me, there's gonna be some stability. She didn't want to raise a child in an environment where he was running from the cops or enemy gangs every day. He thought she wanted him to go legit, but she said no to that too. She was always so clear about what she wanted. Kim didn't want him to stop, it's what he loved. His father did it, and so did his. She just told him to be more cautious, and not pick a fight every time someone rubbed him the wrong way. And he agreed.
"I was the best man at their wedding, you know" Taz grins proudly.
"I know, you have the picture right on the mantle" Hook replies.
Then Y/N walks into the kitchen. "Hey guys, I'm gonna get started on dinner. Any requests?"
"I'm gonna head out hon" Taz answers, leaning down to hug her and kiss her on the forehead. "But Tyler's staying, and I'm sure he'll have an opinion"
Y/N laughs and leans up to kiss his cheek. "Okay, I'll see you soon Taz"
"Have a good night hon. And don't you worry about a thing, I'll handle this" he looks directly into her eyes as he speaks the comforting words.
Y/N nods up at him, but the dark twinge in his eyes does nothing to quell her nerves. She figured Taz must have a plan, and with what she overheard when he thought she was asleep, she had an idea of what it was.
Y/N watched him leave with a frown on her face, her mind running a hundred miles a minute as she thought about what plans Taz was cooking up. And furthermore, how they would affect Will.
She wasn't exactly sure why the thought of something happening to Will made her heart ache so much. She had just met the man, and in less than five minutes he managed to put her in danger. She should despise him.
But as Y/N glances back at the silly man trying to fix her window, guilt was eating her alive as she imagined what could be in store for him.
"Are you okay Y/N?" Hook asked as he waved his hand in front of her face to interrupt her staring.
Y/N blinked before looking up at him. "What is Taz planning on doing?"
Hook raised an eyebrow as he looked down at her. She never wanted to know about the details of their 'business'. "Don't worry about it Y/N, we've got everything covered"
"I just.." Y/N hesitated. What she was considering was wrong, and she shouldn't do it. But with one last glance over at Will, who was trying and failing to get Charles to let him pet him, she decided it had to be done. "I'm scared Tyler... I'm scared and I want to know that you guys have a plan to make this all go away"
Hook bit his lip as he weighed his options. Taz was clear when he told him the plans earlier while they were whispering back and forth; he said not to tell Y/N. But as she let out a sniffle, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug.
She leaned her head against his chest as he whispered into her ear. "Dad is gonna offer to tell Callis where Will is, in exchange for him leaving you alone. If everything goes to plan, Callis will be here by the end of the night"
Y/N did her best to keep her breath steady as she listened. "Tyler, Callis is going to hurt Will. He only didn't do anything in the cafe because of all the people-"
"That's not our problem" Hook huffed. "Whatever Callis does to him is deserved, he should have never put you in this position"
"He was just-"
"This isn't a negotiation Y/N" Hook firmly stated, pulling back to meet her angry eyes. "Do you know what Callis would do to you if he thought you'd lead him to his revenge on Will?"
"I don't care" Y/N hissed, voice raising just enough for Will's eyes to flicker over to them. "It's not right for you to do this to him"
"Y/N-"
"Just leave me alone" Y/N crosses her arms and stomps off into her bedroom.
Both men watched as Charles ran after her, slipping into the room before she slammed the door.
But as soon as the door was closed she locked it and ran to the closet.
She yanked out her suitcase and threw it onto the bed.
Charles watched as Y/N opened it and started shoving her clothes haphazardly into it.
Anxiety was raging through her veins as she packed her things, unsure if this was the best thing to do.
It wasn't, not for herself anyway.
If she just let Taz go through with his plan she'd be safe in a measly couple of hours.
But the thought of sacrificing Will to achieve that was sickening to her.
He didn't do anything wrong, he was just a sweet man who wanted to protect her from Callis despite not even knowing her.
He could have just kept waking when he saw Callis harassing her, but he did what was right. Not what was best for himself.
And Y/N was determined to do the same for him in return.
So with one final deep breath, she zipped the last of her things in the suitcase and walked back out into the living room.
Hook was still in the kitchen, leaning against the counter and looking at his phone.
And Will appeared to be almost finished with repairing the window.
Y/N walked over to him and kneeled beside him. "Do you need any help?"
"No love, I'm almost-" he paused as she leaned close to him, seemingly to get a closer look at his progress.
But her face was right next to his, and he stared at her like a deer caught in the headlights.
He was snapped back to reality when she whispered in his ear. "Say you forgot something at the store and need to go get it"
"But I don't-"
"Shush! And do what I said" she whisper yells, a pointed look in her eyes. "He won't let you leave, he'll go instead"
"Why-"
"Just do it and stop asking questions" Y/N insists sternly, before standing up and walking into the kitchen.
"What would you like for dinner?" Y/N asks softly, looking at Hook with false remorse.
Hook just smiles sympathetically at her. "You're having a tough day, whatever will be easiest for you"
Y/N nods and smiles back. She leans over and pulls him into a hug. "I love you, Ty"
"I love you too" He replies.
"Hey, mate" Will finally speaks up, walking over to them. "I just realized I forgot to get sealer for the window. I'm gonna head to the store really quick and pick some up"
Hook's eyes widen slightly before he returns his face to stoic and sends a look over at Y/N.
She pretends to look nervous as he looks back over at Will.
"Why don't you stay here? Callis probably has his men out looking for you. I'll get it" Hook says.
Will nods. "I appreciate it"
Hook nods back, before looking down at Y/N. "If you need me, call"
"I will" she says, and watches as he walks out.
She trails after him, and looks through the peephole to make sure he's gone.
"What's going on love?" Will confusedly asks, staring as she then runs over to the window to see if Hook's car has pulled out.
"We have to leave. Now" Y/N stresses, running to the bedroom and grabbing her suitcase.
Will furrows his eyebrows, eyes wide as she rolls out her bag. "What are you talking about?"
"Taz has a plan" Y/N explains as she runs to the closet and pulls Charles' cage out. "He's planning on telling Callis you're here in exchange for him leaving me out of this. I don't think we have much time left, it's almost dark out. We have to go"
Will stood silent, watching as she coaxed Charles into the cage.
He couldn't understand why she was telling him this. Why she was willing to run away with him. If she went through with this, she'd be hiding from Callis for months, possibly years. And cutting herself off from everyone she knows and loves. Her business, which she was so clearly passionate about, and the Senerchias.
He was just some guy who showed up and brought world-shattering problems with him.
"Why are you telling me this?" Will mumbled. "Why do you care at all what happens to me?"
"Why do you care what happens to me?" Y/N counters.
"I brought this problem upon you, love" Will answers. "I did this; made the problem, brought it to your doorstep, and put you in danger. You should be happy to get rid of me. You're not thinking this through"
"Maybe not, but I've already told you now" Y/N says. "And you're going to run either way, and if I stay Callis will know I warned you-"
"No" Will cuts her off. "No, I won't run"
"What are you talking about?" Y/N raises to her feet.
Will takes a step towards her, a sad smile on his handsome face. "I won't run" he repeats gently. "I'll stay. I'll stay right here. Whatever plans Callis has awaiting me, that's fine. Because it means you'll be safe. I brought this upon myself and I have to deal with the consequences. I knew what would happen when I left him. And I knew it further when I started a rival group. I accepted the consequences when I chose this life. But you, you didn't. And you don't deserve to be in danger because I can't refrain from flirting with a beautiful girl"
Y/N couldn't help but let out a little laugh, and he did too as tears welled up in both their eyes.
"I know what's coming, love" Will says, placing his hand against her cheek and staring into her eyes. "And it's okay"
"I'm not worth this. Please don't do this Will” Y/N whimpers. "We can hide away together; run away together”
Will smiles. “I must be crazy to deny running away with you”
“Then don’t” Y/N whispers. “Don’t. And run away with me”
“You don’t even know me darling” Will cautions. “I’m not a good person, I’ve done some terrible things”
“So has everyone” Y/N replies.
“Is that right?” He teases. “What have you done?”
“I snuck out once to go to a party” Y/N dramatically proclaims.
“Scandalous” Will laughs. “But I fear you’ll find that my crimes are much more serious”
“Taz is like my father, and I know what he’s done” Y/N insists. “I may not know you yet, but I’ll learn. And if I ever change my mind, I’ll just have to run away for a second time”
“I’d never try to stop you” Will answers seriously.
“Then we have nothing to worry about” Y/N smiles. “Now let’s go, please! We’ve wasted enough time!”
Will stays in place as she runs to grab Charles’ food, shoving it into a backpack.
She runs around the room, grabbing a few last things such as pictures and a couple of things from the kitchen.
Will lets out a loud sigh. “You’re crazy love”
“No more than you are”
“Y/N!” Hook exclaims from outside, knocking loudly on her door.
He’d been outside for 5 minutes and had no response.
He finally has enough, and squares his shoulders before backing up and kicking in the door.
His eyes widen fearfully when he sees some important pictures missing from the walls.
He runs into the bedroom, and yanks open the closet to find many clothes are gone, as well as her suitcase.
As he realizes he doesn’t hear the pitter-patter of Charles’ little paws, he lets out a string of curses.
He never should have told Y/N the damn plan.

Speaking of Faith, Hope & Trick: that first conversation between Buffy and Faith must be so different from Faith's point of view.
I mean, the episode itself is very much told from Buffy's perspective. She's only recently reclaimed her identity as "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" and she just started to reconnect with her friends as of the end of last episode. Of course she feels challenged by Faith's arrival; of course she feels like Faith's deliberately trying to upstage her. Of course she feels Faith is trying to intrude on her life. She reacted much the same way when she met Kendra, and that was when she was a lot less keen on being "the Vampire Slayer" and much more comfortable with her place in Sunnydale. As she tells her mother later, she's "just getting her life back […] not looking to go halfsies on it".
But think about it from Faith's side. Even while she's lying about where her Watcher is, she admits that she came all the way from Boston looking to meet "the infamous" Buffy Summers. She presumably set up the earlier encounter with the vampire deliberately to try to lure Buffy out (she's the one to lead him outside and she only starts fighting him seriously once Buffy and the Scooby Gang have arrived looking for her). She must have picked out her never-to-be-seen-again outfit and practiced her slightly too casual introduction of "I've got it. You're, uh, Buffy, right?" (as if she came all the way to California to meet some girl whose name she didn't quite remember) well in advance. She's already calling her 'B' while the vamp's dust is still cooling. You think she hadn't planned that too?
And Faith is trying to so hard to connect with Buffy in this scene. Yes, she tells a lot of "tall tales" (as Scott Hope will later put it) -- she wants to seem impressive! she wants Buffy to view her as an equal! -- but she's also the only person in the group who keeps trying to get Buffy to share things. It's not her fault that the rest of the gang talk over Buffy's attempts to talk about her own past battles or that they undermine her attempts to tell equally impressive stories. It's not even really her fault that she ends up sharing things about being a Slayer that Buffy as obviously been trying to keep secret from her friends (I mean, it's her fault a little, sure, but I don't think it would even occur to Faith to be embarrassed by anything she says).
"Did you really use a rocket launcher one time?" Faith asks, having already heard the story from somewhere and so done her best to convince Buffy that she too has done equally cool things (she hasn't). "What was your toughest kill?" she asks, having fled most of the way across a continent to escape a vampire she couldn't kill herself. "Isn't it crazy how Slaying always makes you hungry and horny?" she asks and "You and I are gonna have fun," she promises. What can that mean but: don't you feel the same way I do? Aren't you just the same as me? Aren't you glad I'm here?
Yes, Faith is jealous of Buffy's friends and her Watcher and her Mom, right from the start, but she didn't arrive in town looking to meet them. She came looking for Buffy; and look at how quick she is to accept Scott's description of her as "Buffy's friend" the next day. But Buffy (very understandably, from her point of view, because of experiences Faith has no knowledge of) just keeps trying to shut her out. The harder Faith tries to impress her -- by trying to win over Buffy's friends, and her Watcher, and her possible boyfriend, and her Mom -- the more aloof the other Slayer seems to get.
No wonder Faith gets annoyed by the rejection. No wonder she starts to get angry. No wonder she's ready to start exchanging threats once they're alone on patrols and the vampires aren't even showing up the way they're supposed to. Like she'll complain later in the season: she came to Sunnydale, she slayed, she did the good little girl routine, and what did she get? Not Buffy, that's for sure.

Poisoned Thoughts
Draco x fem!reader
Summary: Reader is drowning in the river of insecurities, and Draco is only the hand that’s pushing her further down.
Warnings: Insecurities, obviously, mention of suffocation, choking, strangling, etc. Bullying about weight, eating habits, mention of drowning, drowning someone, ANGST, crying, mention of blood, all that good stuff. :)
Note: This is very personal to me, and I was happy to write a story that kind of puts awareness out there about insecure people. Everyone has their own dislikes about themselves, and I don’t think it’s at all funny to make fun of someone that thinks bad about themselves. So please know to spread kindness and respect others, because you never know what they think of themselves. I’m here if anyone needs to talk, and remember that you are absolutely beautiful just the way you are!!! 🫶🏻
For the wonderful @maaaapara I hope you enjoy!
This is my first time writing full on angst, so it might be bad.

The feeling of hunger was over her, the long hours of studying finally catching up. She didn’t plan on doing the whole Charms essay, just a few paragraphs and she’d be done for the night. But her quill kept moving nonetheless, swirling the cursive letters against the parchment with soft grace. The soft scratching noises arising from the action were peaceful to her ears, and the cackling of the flames in the fireplace was another sign of calm.
Once she finished it, she rolled it up neatly, tying a thin piece of string around it that was worn out from continuous usage. She always seemed to use that certain one out of the millions she had in her bag, since not only was it old, but she liked the material’s feel against her fingertips.
She liked to think of the soft feeling as an award for finishing the work, letting herself know that she can feel the calming sensation if she completed what was asked of her.
The sun was sinking into the sky with such ease she couldn’t see it moving. The soft warmth was warmer than the daylight, glowing innocently into the green room, letting the world know it’s almost time for slumber.
Of course, the urge to eat after a long day was much higher than the desire to sleep, mostly because she felt like everyone, not just her, had an issue falling asleep if they were hungry. As so did she, but she knew she missed the feast far too long ago, too busy frying her brain out of her head to make the action to consume food.
So she sighed, trying to ignore the yelling of her stomach as it demanded something, anything. She had to set aside the want, knowing she had to go to bed and if a prefect caught her sneaking for food they’d think she was a freak, desperate for something to eat but in reality she was too busy doing school work.
The last thing she wanted was a person coming off that way so her tired legs carried her to her dormitory, all the way up trying to fight the want to eat.
She set her bag down on the ground as she got there, her roommates ignoring her presence as per usual, the feeling settling in her chest a long time ago.
Thinking about it now, her brain took her as she went into bed after changing into pajamas, the soft sheets relaxing on her skin, she’d never fit in as easily as the other girls did.
She’d always be the one who was too shy to talk, too shy to interact with people, instead taking place in a corner where she’d watch act unfold. The corners seemed to be the only place that accepted her, the curve of the wall as they both merged together taking home on her back as she sought for warmth that wasn’t there.
The line going from the floor to ceiling basically fit her quite well. She liked to think of it this way. Everyone was the walls, either side of her nice and flat as they lived life. They were smooth, beautiful, and simply flawless as you walked into the room, admiring the wall pattern in the space. But, she, however, was different. She was the corner, where all the webs built up and all the dust formed that wasn’t wanted; the corner wasn’t wanted. The person who lived in the room doesn’t attention to the corners, too busy admiring the wallpaper full of beauty and elegance to care. They don’t bother cleaning the corner while polishing the room for guests, knowing they’re blocked by furniture so the people won’t notice. No one noticed her, it seemed. Why exist, she thought, head turned to the left, staring right at the floor corner of the room, the darkness making it barely visible but she knew that was just her trying to look into her chest.
Tumblr media
When she woke up, the room was empty and there was a cold absence in the room, floating in the air. The beds of her roommates were made, the neatness seeming to mock her, the sight of the smooth blankets making her twist in her bed sheets.
The sight was unsettling for an unknown reason, feeling something off. She looked out the window, rubbing her eyes and seeing the sun quite high within the clouds, shining upon world with such grace.
She yawned, grabbing her watch of the table beside her bed and snapping it on her wrist, looking down at the time lazily.
She gasped, lips parting and chest squeezing. It was almost time for her first to class to start, and she was still in bed, yawning like it was nothing that she forgot to set an alarm the night before. Too busy thinking about food, the thoughts in her head grumbled to herself, feeling hot anger flush in her blood. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
She scrambled out of the bed sheets, feeling more suffocated every second.
She wondered why her roommates didn’t wake her, but the thought only lasted for a second. They didn’t care, was the truth.
While she was putting on her robes, the sleeves being extra irritating that morning, she felt an unexpected sensation of anger brewing in her emotions. She felt angry with herself, disappointed. She wanted to feel normal, not having these never ending thoughts swarming in her mind.
She scoffed the clothes on, standing in front of the mirror, looking at her pathetic tired self standing there, wanting nothing more than the day to end. Right then and there, she wanted it all to end. She wanted her brain to shut off, like a light switch, flipping from emotions felt to nothing at all. She pulled at her hair strands, feeling deep annoyance and irritation building in her heart and stomach. Her hair wasn’t corroborating in the way she wanted it to, and her robes seemed itcher than usual. The fabric seemed to be choking her and the more she tugged at the collar the more it seemed to be strangling her neck.
She felt tears prickle her eyes, nose burning at the want to sob.
She went close to the mirror, not wanting to ruin the makeup she put on her eyelashes, carefully wiping the forming unwanted tears. She still looked horrible despite her attempts to make her look more awake, but it was good enough compared to what she saw when she first got out of bed.
She quickly made her way down the stairs to the Great Hall, hoping to at least grab a piece of toast before class.
She raced to the Slytherin table. The students had that sense coming off them, the feeling that they’ve been content and full, ready for the weekend as it quickly approached. Her stomach wasn’t happy, so she grabbed a piece of toast cut diagonally and spread butter with jam, trying not to combine the two condiments.
She bit into it kinda quickly, already seeing a group of Ravenclaws leave the Hall. She knew it was just because they had a habit of being prepared and responsible, but she did have a couple traits from that House, and being persistently on time was one of them.
“What’s the matter with you? Trying to gain weight, I see.” She heard a snicker, boys around her chuckling and girls giggling. She looked up, confused on who the person who spoke was talking to.
She looked up and saw Draco Malfoy, silver eyes staring right at her with lips turned up into a smirk.
“W-what?” She pathetically squeaked, pausing mid-chew. The toast’s texture felt weird on her tongue, the urge to just chew it was getting greater as it got wetter with her spit. She suddenly felt like throwing up.
“Are you deaf? And how are you eating another one?” He snarled, looking disgusted. “We just ate.”
Th laughter seemed to get louder in her ears, echoing in her head. The toast didn’t seem so appealing anymore, her stomach feeling sickening. She felt like throwing up.
She cleared her incoming dry throat. “I-I was-”
“Was what? Gaining a million pounds in one meal?” Draco interrupted her attempt of explaining where she was the previous night. He snickered, smirk widening at the rising laughter at the table. She couldn’t help but notice some yellow robes joining them within the green, a few Hufflepuffs finding interest in the occurrence.
Her cheeks warmed, heated, even, and she stood on wobbly legs, eyes burning with liquid that she desperately wanted to go away. She picked up her bag, slinging it over her shoulder with great effort. She couldn’t seem to carry things like she usually was able to, the tears decreasing her ability to use her muscles.
She didn’t want to scan the people there, just in case she spotted one of them in future classes and have to experience awkward eye contact, but she did anyway; specifically Malfoy.
His sliver eyes met hers and the differences were clear. Hers was full of see-through gloss, folded with innocence and gentleness. His, however, full of hardness and hatred, looking at her as a way to challenge her to see what she would do.
And she did something. The gasps that were heard from the girls, the chuckles and soft curses from the boys were ignored, she just did it.
She had grabbed the spoon from the jam she used earlier, scooping an abnormally large amount of the spread and aggressively flung the scoop right in the middle of Draco’s chest. The jam splattered on his spotless ironed robes, green and black replaced with stained strawberry jam. His pale face finally was given color, chunks of strawberry on his cheeks.
Draco practically growled. “You little-”
She huffed, breaking through her nose as she broke her eyes away from his face after glaring.
She stormed out of the Hall, tears in her eyes that she harshly rubbed away.
“My father will hear about this!” She heard him holler after her. Her anxiety rose, not wanting to get in trouble with Mr. Malfoy, but the burning in her eyes distracted her. She doubted he would actually do something to her, his father, but the lingering thought of being expelled was in the back of her mind.
I’m in so much trouble, she thought, rubbing her cheeks that now had thick streaks running down them.
“Hey!” She heard, the voice the one that she heard yelling at her just moments before.
She walked faster, not wanting to encounter him once again.
“Hey, I’m talking to you.” He said, suddenly grabbing her shoulders and forcibly turning her around so she faced him. A gasp escaped her lips, not having enough time to wipe her puffy eyes so he saw it all. Her face was red, cheeks flushed from the embarrassment he caused her and from rubbing the continuous tears. The once was whiteness around her eyes were no more, they were now red and almost bloodshot looking. Her eyelashes were wet and her body shook as she looked at him. He still had the jam on his robes, the red for sure going to stain. His face was clean though, like he wiped it off before he went to make fun of her more.
“What’s this?” He sneered, chuckling at the sight of her tears. “Crying about the truth, are we?”
She shoved him off her, his hands coming off her shoulders leaving a not so satisfying sting behind. “Shove off, Malfoy.”
He laughed. “What’s the matter? Not my fault you’re fat.”
Her breathing stopped, the breath in her lungs pausing mid-way as she looked at him, a moment of silent bracing between them.
“I’ll have you know,” she started, voice wet as the tears seemed to flood her throat not just her eyes. “That I was studying last night and missed dinner.”
Draco was smirking at her reactions, eyes twinkling with excitement. “Missed dinner? Studying?” He scoffed out a laugh, not believing her so called alibi. “That’s your excuse for stuffing your face?”
The girl stared helplessly as he laughed at her, eyes showing nothing but satisfaction as he watched her fall apart in front of him. She was drowning, and he was above the surface waiting for the bubbles to stop.
“Go to hell, Malfoy.” She spat through a clogged throat, turning away and starting to walk away towards the bathroom; her first class was the last thing on her mind.
“Oo so threatened!” He called after her, and she could hear the smirk in his voice. “Don’t forget to miss lunch too!”
His laughter and calls faded out as she stormed into a girls bathroom, the cold space abandoned as everyone was probably just about now getting to their lessons.
It felt like her tears were a river, and her eyes were the dam, the bricks breaking as soon as she entered the bathroom. The water came flooding out, killing whatever there was in its path.
She sank to the floor, green robes and sniffles, her hand held high, fingertips grazing the surface of the water’s depths, waiting desperately for a hand to reach for hers and pull her out.
The bubbles of screams and pleads rang within the water, no air inside for it to be heard.
Her brain took over, wanting nothing more than to escape and be free again.
She sat there for a while, bottom getting numb as her eyes felt like they would fall out after all that hard labor.
She got up, legs wobbly as she had a horrible flashback of when she stood up from the table of the Great Hall.
Leaving her bag disfavored, she arrived in front of the mirror and gazed reluctantly.
What she saw displeased her very much so. Her hair was a representation of the word ‘mess’ if it was alive and breathing, as well as her eyes being redder than before.
She scanned her reflection. She’s always hated her face. Her nose was too big for her liking, her lips were too plump, and her eyes were small. She liked the color but wished they were bigger so they could be seen better. Her hair didn’t have volume despite the constant Charms she casted to make it look more full.
She looked gross.
She turned away, brain already taking a mental image of her appearance, labeling each flaw of her face until she couldn’t see the image anymore. She dug her hands into the hair she hated, tugging at the strands and yelling inside her brain to shut the hell up.
But as usual it didn’t, it just smirked at her as it re-read the list of things wrong with her. She would die before it was finished, the never ending enumeration lasting centuries.
Fat
Stupid
Worthless
Stupid
Dumb
Weird
Stupid
The tears flowed senselessly, her cheeks so raw she couldn’t feel them falling anymore.
“You again? You do know this is the boys bathroom, right? Or are you just dumb. Honestly, all that food going to your head?”
A dark chuckle followed the remark, making her hold her breath at the cold voice behind her. She looked around, noticing it was the boys bathroom, and she didn’t realize before since she was too busy trying to breathe.
She turned around, puffy red teary eyes meeting his.
The smirk seemed to wipe off his face. He took a small step forward, his robes coming into the soft light that was on, causing her to once again see the jam stains. He tried to chuckle nervously to break the tension but he failed miserably.
“Woah, you oka-”
“Go to hell, Malfoy.” She spat, wet lips feeling like she didn’t just lick them, but like water was flowing out of her mouth. Like her lungs were full of water, gurgling her voice as she tried to breathe. Her feet were touching the sandy bottom now, the coldness of the water that never saw daylight chilling her skin in the most intense way. Her toes tried to hopelessly kick off the rocky bottom but she just sank back down, limbs pathetically moving in the liquid around her.
She picked up her bag in her hands, it feeling like a weight in the river that was flooding her body at the moment. She exited the bathroom with quick yet shaky legs, lungs still swollen with pain and the strong desire and need to take a breath.
The Slytherin that was left behind, the boy above the surface and constantly seeing the sun, stood utter less. His feet felt cold on the tile beneath him and his lungs took normal full breaths.
He wanted to walk and rush after the girl, he wanted to bend over the river and touch its surface, hand wanting to feel she desperate fingertips. But she was already at the bottom, so sticking his arm in wouldn’t be of any use.
He wanted to jump in and swim to the bottom, limbs moving as the water got colder against his pale skin, turning it even whiter, but he wouldn’t be able to make it that far down without coming up for a breath.
But he was the reason for her being in the river in the first place, or at least going from being foot deep to being at the bottom, feet grazing the sand.
And yet his feet were glued to the ground, silver eyes dulled over with a light grey, fading his eyesight.
His lips parted for a gentle breath, one he knew she couldn’t take, and picked a spot on the tile to stare at until his brain started up again.
Tumblr media
The thorns were piercing his hands, blood already flowing down his wrist, the red looking bright as ever in his pale skin.
His black dress shoes took him through the huffing grass, the air kinda breezy but the colors of plants were nice for his grey eyes. The cement was evermore, row after row in the grassy ground. He knew which one he was looking for, yet not quite the place.
The name in stone was bright and noticeable, for he could recognize something like that from centuries away.
He bent down, knees crackling and elbows resting on the end of his thighs. He first set down the jar in his hand, turning it so he saw the picture of the strawberry to represent what flavor jam it was. He then set down the roses, deep red in color that set free the pain in his hand that he was doing a good job at ignoring.
He huffed before taking a nice long full breath for her, giving her a taste of crisp air that she wasn’t able to experience.
“They’re beautiful,” he whispered, gesturing to the flowers that he set down, the black ribbon around the stems mocking him. “Just like you, loves.”

Personal coach Red Hood
Here have this as I turn off my computer to go the fuck to sleep.
Part 1
---
Ever since that weirdo jumped at him a few days ago, Jason couldn’t shake the feeling he was being watched. He didn’t believe the woman was working for a major villain or was out to get him — she proved she could hold her ground in a fight, so she could have attacked him any time if that was her objective — but he was starting to think something more sinister was going on.
Glimpses of her long red hair on the corner of his vision, always just out of sight, but close enough to make him paranoid to check every shadow and every corner, waiting to see her jump at him with that stupid smile.
What was her deal, anyway?
Personal trainer? Mentor?
What does that even mean?
Whatever, he was going to ignore her until she gave up. It didn’t matter the reason she thought it was a good idea to follow a vigilante, and former crime lord, around the worst parts of Gotham; but he was going to make sure she abandoned the fixation on him and went back to her life.
***
She did not give up.
That woman — Jazz, she said — was relentless and inserted herself in the wildest situation just for a chance to talk to him. Was she trying to prove she could take it? That she was strong? That she was worthy?
In any case, Jazz ended up as the most consistent hostage, kidnapped, mugged person in Crime Alley. Always there, with a giant smile and her stupid notepad, like a crazy woman.
He was starting to think she was actually insane.
“But it’s fun!” Stephanie insisted one time. “It's like you have your own number one fan!”
Jason groaned.
The others learned about the stalker and of course twisted the whole thing like it was anything other than annoying and inconvenient. Dick said it was romantic, but Damian was the only one sane and agreed that her stalking tendencies could prove dangerous.
Then… Then that’s when he started finding food.
He knew where it came from, because the woman always waited nearby and watched him investigate the containers, holding her breath, and groaning when he threw the containers away or left them abandoned.
One day he was too weak and tried one. It was pasta. He was very hungry, coming back from a long campaign to rip apart a new drug ring forming under his nose. He was injured and was positive that everything at his apartment was not edible, so he risked it. He was immune to a lot of poisons, so he was positive he wouldn’t die from this.
It was the worst plate of pasta he had ever tried.
Who fucks up pasta?
Overcooked and undercooked at the same time, and you can tell she tried making bolognese sauce from scratch, but it just wasn’t working. Also it needed salt.
He didn’t finish it and looked at the woman — Jazz — in the eye as he threw away the rest.

When does Sadness!Siffrin realize they're with the party again? Is it a sudden realization or a slow, gradual one?
sorry in advance this became a big sadfrin fight ramble (i’ve been thinking about this forever can you tell.) i tried to break it up a bit but it is a huge wall of me yapping on and on so tldr: party talks to him while they’re fighting trying to remind him it’s Them and they might be hurt but they still love him and don’t want to be fighting him or hurt him and siffrin is having Such a good time about this (distressed and confused like a stray abused animal being shown love) and flinches and gives the party and opening to pin him down. tears are shed (mostly by siffrin) but hey! at least he’s not trying to kill them anymore
as in like. recognizing its them. its like. gradual? and as slow as it can be during a fight to the death so;kljhdfj
its during their first encounter with everyone and them instinctively fighting everyone, because thats all they think to do now. their instincts are to attack practically anything that moves. no one Wants to attack siffrin, even in self defense, except for odile. i think i’ve mentioned part of this before? idk. but based off the bigfrin fight she wouldn’t be opposed to attacking in self defense, especially if she doesn’t know if this is even siffrin anymore. she also doesn’t want to attack, but what else is there to do? as far as she can tell, this isn’t siffrin anymore. this is a sadness attacking them, a strong one at that, and theres no way anyone here knows of to turn a sadness back, especially not in enough time to still be able to fight the king. it’s a really high stress situation with no time to try and brainstorm solutions that could be time consuming that might not even work, risking her and her allies lives, all to save an ally (who not even a day ago insulted them all to their faces) who might not even be able to be brought back? she’s not taking that risk. so she talks the rest of the party into attacking (albeit very very unwillingly. no one is happy about this) and eventually they get siffrin down but! whoopsies! he can loop back. wuh oh. thats not good.
(the way siffrins loops here are like. the way loop loops back during their fight? where they loop themselves but not siffrin, so they have all their health but siffrin does not, works the same here with siffrin recovering but the party does not. yk?) anyway the party now has to figure out what the crab to do now.
and like. the progression of siffrin going from mindless attacking to Not trying to kill them starts with bonnie where siffrin gets a bit knocked around and bit too close to bonnie and Would have a perfect opportunity to attack them but bonnie has that same expression they had back when siffrin jumped in to save them from that sadness and lost his eye and siffrin gets this overwhelming instinct to protect them. and bonnie notices the way his face changes for a second before looping back and fighting again. and no one listens to them when bonnie tries to tell them to stop attacking siffrin so they decide the best idea is to jump right in front of siffrin who’s about to attack. and siffrin doesn’t! he trips over himself trying to move so he doesn’t hurt bonnie and while bonnie’s celebrating that they were right and its still siffrin and the party is in shock over 1. the amount of danger bonnie just put themselves in and 2. holy shit siffrin really didn’t attack them do they have a chance at helping him??? siffrin over in his corner is having a teeny tiny breakdown between the part of his brain in attack mode and the other part like “holy fuck we almost just hurt a child we promised to protect”
the rest of the fight is simpler its just. party members taking turns talking to (or more like at) siffrin to show they stilllove him and dont want to be hurting him and dont want to kill him, and they want him to let them help him. all these words of love actually serve to make siffrin more distressed bc he’s literally just come out of the mal du pays fight convinced he was unloved and hated, has only been attacking and killing whatever he comes across and is now fighting things that both fight back, HAVENT died yet, and are talking to him???? and saying they love him?????? its all very overwhelming and confusing so he goes from being a really collected and ruthless enemy to being more like a feral animal pushed into a corner. so with all this going on and his attacks being more scattered and frantic he eventually gives the party an opening and they take it with mira knocking his dagger away and odile doing her sick ass stopping time craft thing and isa pinning him down and yay!! its over!! everyone is exhausted but glad to have finished!! siffrin is sobbing pathetically on the ground!! woooo!!!! but yeah around this point he gets past his whole bloodlust kill kill kill instinct and chills out. sorry for rambling this much i’m ill

I haven't got the spoons for writing anything long, so I'm just throwing my ideas out here in little snippets. This little snippet turned out a bit long, but...
This is super dark. I've tagged all of the dark stuff, and if I've missed a tw, please tell me. I don't think I did. There are no graphic descriptions.
ATLA AU: Aang defeats Ozai. Aang loses everyone.
Aang has just defeated Ozai. He looks out to the horizon, and sees a number of airships crashing down. He mourns the possible loss of life (even though he can see many crews huddling on the tops of the airships, surely there were some who didn't make it) but ultimately, he's at peace with it.
He sees one particular airship go down rough. Well, he thinks. Time to go rescue people.
He secures Ozai to the rock and even though the man is a monster, he promises to come back and that the former Fire Lord will be treated humanely.
There are bodies in the wreck, and he offers some words to Agni on their behalf, because that's who he is, and he remembers that Fire folk need to be guided on their way to the Sun. He remembers the words from a hundred years ago like yesterday, because for him, it was. Well, yesterday and a year.
But when he finds three bodies, huddled close together with a burst steam pipe near them and the room slowly filling with water, Aang finds that he doesn't have any words at all.
He takes them from the wreck and lays them out on the beach. Sokka must have been holding Suki and Toph close, and from the shape of the bent metal sheets in the room, he could guess that Toph might have tried to cushion their fall with Metalbending. But he'll never know for sure.
If they'd only had a Waterbender. The boiling steam could have turned to a cool mist.
Waterbending takes his thoughts to Katara. She or Zuko weren't anywhere to be found. Were they gone, too? If they weren't, how was he going to tell Katara that her brother was dead? And Toph. And Suki.
He sits by the bodies on the beach for a long time. Eventually, some of the surviving soldiers approach him.
He gives them a short speech. He brings Ozai out to them. Ozai is still feeble, and babbling commands to kill the Avatar, but as Aang had hoped, he can't inspire fear or respect without his bending. His soldiers refuse to attack Aang.
A few of the airships can still fly. He orders a crew to fly him to the Fire Nation. He has some kind of inkling that that's where Zuko and Katara might be - he tried meditating to see if he could connect with Katara the same way he did when she was captured in Ba Sing Se, but the grief is still too near. And in any case, ending the war is most important, and to do that, he has to go to the Fire Nation.
Ozai stays on the bridge with him. He thinks its good for the crew to see him, to lose their fear of the man. A voice inside him whispers that it's good for them to see that Aang could do it to them, too.
He quashes it. It's the grief and anger talking. He tries to meditate, to center himself, to let himself feel all of his grief so that he can begin the long journey to overcome it. But the meditation doesn't help, and he can't even cry.
They reach the Caldera.
He finds the Fire Lord sitting on her throne, alternating between laughter and tears and screaming and whispering. Crying for her mother, screaming for Zuko, laughing to her father that she did it, didn't I do good?
The duel is short. The Avatar State allows him to overpower Azula with ease. Her energy is bitter and twisted and wrong, but he untangles the knots and removes her bending. Curiously, Azula doesn't even fight it very much.
The screams and laughter and sounds don't stop. But some sages and ministers and a few guards come in, and he centers himself, meaning to explain to them that the war is over, when one of the sages asks him if he knows any Waterbender healing.
He's happy for a chance to help someone. He tells them that he isn't as good as Katara, but he knows the basics.
Prince Zuko has been asking for Katara, they say. (None of them knew the name of the Waterbender who came with Zuko to challenge his sister.)
Aang's hands are very cold. He tells them to take him to Zuko, immediately, and to bring pure water.
Zuko is lying on a bed. His chest is as crimson as the covers. His breathing is shallow. He keeps rasping out Katara's name until he sees Aang. Then he tries to say something else.
Aang tells him not to speak, and gets to work on his chest, but he doesn't have Katara's skill (why didn't he train more, he asked himself, and even when a fair little voice tries to tell him that he had his hands full with learning three styles of bending simultaneously as well as everything else that had happened) and the wound is severe.
Prince Zuko dies in the early hours of the morning, and Aang stands there with his hands dripping. Blood and water.
He still can't cry.
Then one of the Fire Sages in the room asks him if he knew the Waterbender who came with the Prince.
He asks them where Katara is. They show him.
His fingers are numb, but he cleans the blue necklace as best he can, even though the ribbon is almost burned to nothing.
The wind is picking up.
He asks them what happened. A sage timidly and hurriedly starts explaining. The two rode in on a sky bison, there was a duel, Zuko dove in front of Katara, and...
Wait, he says. Where is Appa? Where is the sky bison?
The beast was slain by Azula, the sage says, and continues his explanation like that was a footnote, until suddenly he can't breathe and the wind is turning into a storm.
As the sage chokes, Aang tells the others to take him to Appa, now. He needs to see.
They had dragged Appa into a stable. There's black on the white of his fur.
He stares until he can't look at Appa anymore, and then he turns around and looks at the quivering sages and ministers instead.
It was once the Fire Sages' duty to serve the Avatar, he says. You will serve me again. And together, we will remake the world.
All of them bow.
They ask him for his commands.
The reply is spoken by a thousand voices:
"Bring me Azula."
In Ba Sing Se, Iroh looks out to the city. Children are playing in the streets. Vendors are serving food at no cost (he might have indulged in a dish or two). Ba Sing Se is free, and he is happy.
And he still can't shake the feeling that something is horribly wrong.

I think it's a trend for the rise!turtles to have dumbass parents
Look at Splinter from even before he was mutated
Barry.
yeah, you're a little naive but isn't everyone?
Now we know where your boys get it from! :D
April is apart of the family btw and she's your daughter
I reckon Mikey does all of the cooking anyways because you...
cannot.
The few times you tried ended with Raph, Leo, and Mikey screaming in the background, while Donnie extinguishes the fire
You guys lost a very important member of the family that day,
Speck.
You burned 'im at your failed attempt at cooking
That poor speck of cooking residue that was immune to cleaning supplies :(
Not even you, the mama of this carnival was able to remove
Maybe had a 'lil funeral as everyone cried but Donnie wasn't phased his ass was waiting for it to happen-
The lair is literally spotless
Nobody ever questioned why you were so good at cleaning
Actually, Leo did, I lied damn intuition i swear he has it
The boys get away with a lot, I'm sorry
"Where have you boys been?" You stand with your arms crossed scowling at the boys, they just got back to the lair and they do not look like they were anywhere you would condone as their mother.
Leo steps up, flashing you a smile, a bright one at that, "Sorry we're late Ma, we wanted to stop and eat pizza! We're sorry for not letting you know, we promise we'll let you know next time." He says, sounding oh-so genuine, how could you not believe that? Raph, Donnie, and Mikey are standing in the background nodding along to everything Leo is saying and you look at all of them carefully.
"Alright, be more careful next time! You had me worried!" You'd smile, and that would be the end of the conversation as your boys scurry away as a person right in the head would deem; suspicious.
You're not right in the head btw.
Overall, you guys are a family and you love each other tons
They do appreciate everything you do for them
You love them unconditionally and would do anything for them Please give Donnie validation and praise- boy needs it
You'd also do anything to protect them
Did I mention you're crazy strong?
Yes, you trained the boys so they have your agility
At some points you're overly gentle but you'll never tell anyone it's because you can't handle your own strength
Your excuse is that they can't handle it
You brush it off as a joke though
It's hard hiding such a big secret from them, but it's for their safety
They don't know why exactly you're so strong and cool, you played it a certain way that they'll never question
You do have your dumbass moments, but they never imagined you as an assassin- their mother? nah.
Your children come up with some weird ass shit on a day to day basis and never once they put two and two together
Your dumbass children i swear-
The boys love watching you in action
From the close combat that almost nobody can match-
To the way you effortlessly handle your blades
The way you know the exact points on a person to aim when attacking
Or how you've basically never lost a fight
The way you can scope out where your opponents are and how quick your reflexes are-
No you're not an assassin
I'm just lying!! You are!
If they ever were to find out, it's because your dumbass let something slip
The boys and April caught onto something
Leo confronted you in an indirect way
Boom
Exposed.
"WHAT?!" They simultaneously exclaimed in shock. Donnie pulls out a bunch of tech- probably to add to his file he has about you, Leo is shaking you by the shoulders demanding more information, Mikey copes by running around yelling 'OHMIGOSH,' Raph fell over backwards as if he were an object, and April yells 'I knew it!'
It's chaos.
As everyone settles down, you have no choice but to fill them in further, you go sit down at the table and they listen to your story. They are very shocked, very confused on some things, a lot of things are adding up now. But they aren't mad at you for keeping such a secret, none of them are, they think it's hella cool.
Leo raises his hand with a question and you wait for him to go on,
"So did the weird creepy fox yokai end up with the ugly bunny yokai or the nasty hamster one?" He recalls one of the missions you just told them about.
"I'm pretty sure it was the bunny." You answer, not really phased by the type of question he just asked and everyone nods along calmly.
Yeah. This is your life and you wouldn't wish for anything different.

You know, the worldbuilding for hazbin and helluva are interesting but at the same time,I feel a bit bored by it. Sorry,it's just it has potential and all of that but hell is just like a nighttown that you can go there and suffered no consequences. And I know helluva is a spinoff to hazbin hotel except it's just destroys the both meanings of it. Especially since hazbin is about redeeming sinners while helluva boss is just don't get mad at me but just soap opera between an elitist with a peasant. I thought helluva boss is gonna be us seeing the IMP doing their missions and encountered many different challenges on navigating a business not seeing a dramatic retelling yaoi festizhization love story of stolas and blitzo. And with hazbin,it's just I wanna see hazbin having different customers and guests and how they interact with the hotel not a literal fight with heaven of all things. What's next? Do I need to get into getting myself info a lore Livestream of Viv telling us? No,I want subtle storytelling not an Italian soap opera,ah man. Ah,now because of this I have to entertain myself with fans making fanmade comics of both helluva and hazbin hotel and I'm not complaining because let's face it,fans does it better than the creator Viv does.
Vivziepop so quickly strays from her original concepts, and it makes both shows difficult to watch. The last Helluva Boss episode that includes I.M.P. going to Earth on a mission to kill someone is episode 5, ‘Unhappy Campers,’ and that was only Millie and Moxxie. The last time the whole team went was episode 4 of season 1! Helluva Boss is now just a show about Viv’s twinks and kinks. I genuinely think I’ve seen enough of Stolas for a lifetime. There’s so much potential with a show like this, and I would have loved to see Helluva Boss explore both Hell and the Human World, but it does neither. There are so many ways this show could be executed to explore the worlds and character dynamics, but we barely even know anything about how these characters interact with each other.
Hazbin Hotel does the same thing. We have the possibility to explore Hell and Heaven, but we don’t. Hazbin Hotel is also supposed to be more about the women characters, but we know very little about Charlie, Vaggie, Niffty, or any of the other women; we instead get episodes about Husk, Alastor, Lucifer, Angel, Vox, and Val. Hazbin was supposed to be about new people coming to the hotel to learn about redemption. The only person we actually get is Sir Pentious, who doesn’t even change or learn anything about virtue and redemption. We also kind of get Cherri, but she isn’t even part of the hotel. 8 whole episodes for two official people in the hotel. I’d rather we see people coming to the hotel and learning about redemption for an entire season instead of the drama we see go down with Adam and Heaven.
Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss just move WAY too quickly. I think it’s even difficult for fans to write fanfics and comics about these characters because they have nothing to go off of. Almost none of the characters have personalities, and we don’t know how they interact with each other. However, I do think that Viv’s Hell is an interesting world. I just wish it was explored more. We’ve only see a few of the rings, met a few of the sins, and seen very little of Hell at all. I have no hope that Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss will be better shows, the only hope I have is that in 30 years, someone reboots these shows, and actually makes them good.

Introduction and pinned post to the my In Stars and Time Swap Au. Is the title lazy? Maybe. Post is subjected to updates in future, so pay attention. Or don't. I'll probably tell you if I change anything.
Please tell if I start rambling in any of my posts thanks or if something isn't full clear.
BEYOND TIME AND STARS (IN STARS AND TIME SWAP AU)
THE SWAPS!
I've done my best to make sure the characters feel unique yet similar to their vanilla counterparts. However there are some changes to their personalities.
Here's the main cast:
Siffrin - The Scholar. Swaps with Odile. Came across the party (Mirabelle, Isabeau, Odile) while attempting to research Sadnessees, helping them fight and joined them. While intelligent, they hold onto a certain pride that gets in the way of being fully honest. Scared of being touched. Obsessively keeps a journal of all their craft skills as well as enemies, all coming with a pun. Unable to take things fully seriously. Keeps a coin around, enjoys taking heads and tails bets. Loves crystals and minerals. Stuck in a time loop.
Odile - The Bandit. Swaps with Siffrin. Got beaten down by Mirabelle and Isabeau who she tried to rob while drunk on the open road, who held her tied up for a few days before they trusted her and left her go. Left home as she wanted to make something for herself than let the Universe lead her along (Ka Bue takes the Universe leads ideology). Carries her mom's familytale around like a burden unable to let go off. Lost an eye protecting the party from a large sadness attack. Unlike the Odile in the base game, she acts more jaded, and cares deeply for the party. Fast and steady.
Mirabelle - The Hunter. Swaps with Isabeau. An exiled housemaiden from the House of Eternity who became disillusioned with the religion and rebelled. Lived alone in a forest, only entering local towns for trade. The one who originally started the adventure, hearing about the Emperor's curse and her good nature couldn't let herself stand by and do nothing. Does her best to be gentle, but she's slightly more rougher and confident than ISAT Mirabelle. People are still charmed, though (Everyone loves a rebel). Never feels comfortable unless her survival gear is in arms reach.
Isabeau - The Guardian. Swaps with Mirabelle. During his transition process in one of the Eternity houses in Jouvente, stumbles across a certain charm bracelet, which he decides to wear as it makes him feel stronger. However, when the curse strikes, it turns out the charm protects him from becoming a "Husk", and many believed he has been blessed by Eternity. Pressured, he accepts it. Mirabelle comes upon Jouvente, requesting for the help of any of the Jouvente knights of Eternity for help. Instead, they volunteer Isabeau to go, which he happily accepts, hoping to escape the responsibility of home. Instant friends with Mirabelle (extremely one-sided for a very long time).
Nille - The Teen. Swaps with Bonnie. The party originally stumbles upon her passed out amongst a group of defeated Sadnessees. She had passed out from hunger and dehydration, which the party quickly help her with. After hearing their story, she becomes insistent on joining them. Extremely shaky and nervous, especially with body contact, bonds with Siffrin over this. Good at martial arts and wielding massive hammers, but still a cook in training. Extremely low confidence, often falling behind in the chain of cheers ("Hip" "Hip" "Was I supposed to do something"). Misses their sibling Bonnie greatly.
The Emperor - The King, swapped with the Change God. Maniacal, Evil, Royal Staff wielding Villain who took over Vaugarde and resides in the warped House of Eternity. Unleashed a curse known as "The Emptiness". Souls are frozen in time, but the bodies are kept alive, muttering and speaking any lines they can muster, husks of their former selves. Madnesses (Sadness replacements) are fully sentient creatures that are formed by the madness within people, payed in literal peanuts by the Emperor to do their work. Defying time has left a reality scar on them, making them speak in a strange manner (>_<). Blows bubbles of insanity that turn one into a husk upon contact. Wears a crown that looks like antlers.
Loop - Nothing has changed about them that differs from Vanilla, besides calling Siffrin "Gemstone" now. A big fan of entertainment, jokes, and being cheekily mysterious. Sits under The Favour Tree.
Zero - A diamond headed entity that exists as another guide alongside Loop, much to both of their dismay. Enjoys practicality, results, and efficency. Calls Siffrin "Subject". Sits on top of the stump of The Giving Tree.
Other things to say about this au:
- Certain new characters.
- Floor Bosses have personalities.
- Ghostfrin is their own character with their own questline.
- The Bomb is now a Firework.
- Instead of scripts and plays, Siffrin is more into games and puzzles.
- ENEMIES ALSO SWAP! Is it weird I've very enthusiastic about this.

Re: the fic tropes from the s2 hiatus, I have a related thought or question.
I would welcome your thoughts or recs (including recs of your own fic) because I admittedly found the OT3 WAY more easy to believe in fic in the s2 hiatus, in terms of Jamie joining an established RoyKeeley, even if the signs for the RK break up were there in retrospect. I now find it hard to believe in, post finale (well, post fight - up until half way through the finale we were looking good.) I still read lots of OT3 things that diverge at different points in the show, up to and including mid finale, and them simply not taking their bullshit argument to Keeley’s door, but I CANNOT see a path back from that after they do it, only to RJ, in a strictly canon compliant post finale fic. Of course Keeley becomes friends with them again but the events of canon made me feel like she fully closed the door on either of them in that scene for good, and I can't see it working out the way I once could. That's a let down, and makes me sad especially after 3.11! I used to not even like RJ without K, I much preferred OT3.
So what are your fave fics that deal with them getting together post finale - as in, one that doesn't diverge and that deal with what actually happened? I want a fic to really to sell me on it, if that makes sense, because the show really didn't in the end, it felt like it killed it. (Even with the barbecue scene - it felt like potential for RJ + Friend Keeley to me.)
Can you help me believe in the possibility again?
Hello!! First off, let me apologize in advance for what I'm fearing might end up a lengthly response to what was a very simple question, and frankly more than you probably wanted to know lol. That said, I feel like I need to preface my suggestions a bit first to help explain my breakdown of the recs so here's just a few things to keep in mind:
So, I don't see Keeley kicking them out after their bullshit argument to be a permanent door closure on the possibility for a relationship, which obviously influences my enjoyment of post finale ot3 fics greatly. Instead, I sort of just view it as Keeley drawing a hard boundary on what she's willing to put up with, and categorically deciding that she not going to engage with either of them when they're being that idiotic (enormously valid of her). HOWEVER, I honestly believe all it would take is a genuine apology from them to allow them both back into her good graces (look at how easily she forgave Roy after he gave her that sort of half-arsed [imo] apology letter! Now, obviously that didn't fix anything between them, and Keeley was in a particularly vulnerable place when it happened, and possibly their subsequent decision to sleep together then made things worse for their future romantically, but they are also undeniably back to genuine friendship + complicated feelings about ~more~ in the very next episode! I think this situation would go very much the same way.)
NOW, I'm not saying that's like... an entirely healthy and well-adjusted basis for a romantic relationship right off the go, just that I do think that Keeley would accept their apology and return to being friends with both of them really speedily. And that I don't think the lingering romantic feelings between them all (that imo, we do see hints of all season) would disappear. The big problem with roykeeley that led to the breakup was their inability to communicate their needs and feelings and what they wanted out of their relationship, alongside an inability to be truly vulnerable about their emotions. But i think s3 made it very clear to me how much the love is still there between them, and I'm of the belief that all it would take to fix them would be an honest conversation where they acknowledge they've hurt one another, admit they still love each other, and come up with a plan to move forward. I think the solution would be similar for budding ot3--they just need that heart to heart moment to hash it all out, because the love is there!
As such, the most "realistic" path forward for ot3 post-finale the way I see it is for all three of them to agree to be ~just friends~ for the foreseeable, giving Keeley time to focus on herself & her career and explore the self-discovery that comes with being single for once, as well as giving Roy time to develop a routine with therapy and work esp. on the issues that promoted him to initiate the bullshit finale fight with Jamie in the first place. I do not necessarily think anyone but Jamie is necessarily ready for any relationship where we leave them in s3, so I feel very similar about routes forward for RJ, JK or RK and I do for RJK. Eventually though (because let's face it, I do think they're all deeply horny for one another as well as share deeper feelings) the simmering, underlying sexual tension would boil over and the friendship would develop into more.
But all that said...I also am very easy to please and can be made to believe in pretty much any route to ot3, so I enjoy most interpretations of how they get together post finale/*that* fight. I love that it was left so open-ended, it makes it so easy for me to enjoy most fics about how they might get together
I say all this not to argue over your different interpretation (which is a totally valid one!) or to try to suggest everyone needs to see it how I see it, but rather to sort of warn you I guess that some of the fics I'm recommending might not be as successful for you as you were for me, because I see the situation so differently.
I think a lot of canon-compliant post finale fics (mine included tbh) tend to sweep the fight moment under the rug (as in, it gets mentioned that the boys apologized or what have you, but there's also been at least a few weeks time jump since the finale and the three of them have kind of moved on from that evening) because myself and other authors maybe see it as less of a major dealbreaker that needs to very addressed before the three can more forward. I have tried to curate the fics out accordingly into categories that will hopefully steer you in the right direction, but it's also been a while since I've read a lot of these:
Category A: Very convincing (imo) canon-compliant getting-together post finale fics that don't necessarily address the final fight head on:
The Third Wheel by scintilla10; a very cute one-shot based around the idea that Jamie and Keeley have a heart to heart in Brazil and then bring that energy back home to Roy.
Upside Down by @morethanslightly; post finale, they're all friends! then Jamie and Keeley go to Brazil and more occurs :)
take away the glass by @izzyspussy; OK...so to be fair... This one explicitly states in the leading author's note that it ignores everything that happens in the finale, lol. However, it's so good and otherwise (imo) very in line with canon that I'm recommending it to you anyway, even though it doesn't match the brief. JamieKeeley get back together first, which is a unique take I haven't seen in any other fic that nonetheless feels SO fitting for the dynamic in s3. I just really think this is the post-series fic that could convince you on the three of them again :)
Oh, Lord, You've Never Been So In Love by asexual-fandom-queen; post finale friends to lovers, the fight is mentioned in what i think is a very effective way, but not really focused on.
Triangles by @catalogercas- I love fics where Phoebe is the one to knock some sense into them :)
Category B: Post-finale ot3 fics that DO address the finale/fight of it all head on:
How to Build A Triangle (or accidentally fall headlong into one, or whatever the fuck) by SquaresAreNotCircles; very fun but also They Talk About It! Pretty in line with how I see how things actually playing out in canon, tbh.
boyfriend lessons by @mixtapestar; so this is in alignment with "they apologize, Keeley forgives them and they all move on" which I realize might be enough accountability for the way you view the fight, but there's fun twists and I love anything that involves shenanigans and also their Brazil trip.
it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning - butterflybook; a quick one-shot about the boys apologizing & Keeley forgiving them (author notes this happens quickly, but they share my sentiment that that is pretty in character for Keeley)
Category C: Maybe less convincing, given canon, in terms of like, long-term stability for the relationship without further conversation and hard work, but definitely convincing for in-the-moment rampant horniness:
three turns by scintilla10; this is about Keeley inviting them back in immediately after kicking them out for horny purposes, so I'm not sure you'd be convinced by this lmao. But it's also so fun, so I thought I'd throw it on the list anyway for others people who might be interested and/or if you read some category A stuff that gets you back in the ship and then want to try something different
Triple blend by Dancey96; this definitely takes some liberties with what Keeley may have said before kicking them out. so it's "canon-compliant" in a very loose way I don't think aligns with what was actually intended in canon, lol. BUT! It works for them and it's fun and it's hot and it's a fun way to play with what happened so maybe it would make you feel better about the scene! idk
Heart Trouble by @morethanslightly this is another play on the scene that maybe doesn't address their problems as much as you would need, but gosh it is sexy and fun!
Category D: My own fics that may or not be your speed but I'm throwing in to self promo anyway:
Confetti ; This follows the concept that they're all friends post finale and then slowly the dynamic starts to change; fluffy getting together fic ft. Roy's family
last to leave the party ; another iteration of the above but this time it's years of friendship between the three of them post the finale before the something happens that causes things to shift back around to romance
Actually, the one I'm writing now (RJK friends with benefits) is I think going to be the one that addresses what you are looking for most head on (in terms of dealing with the direct aftermath of the finale and staying completely canon compliant). So stay tuned!
If anyone else has any suggestions or would like to self-rec one of your own fics for anon, please add them/share them with me!

Who do you think you could beat in a fight? like no weapons, not power gloves/bracelets, just bare hands and a dream.
BARE HANDS AND A DREAMMMM
who let u be this funny kota lmao
Tbh, me v. anything stronger than a chicken or a chuchu, they winning.
Ive only Just started going to the gym, i have very little muscle that isnt from carrying groceries, so hands down, not many things i would realistically fight in botw/loz games in general
If ur talking abt the Links tho?? Uh, none. 💀
Im not that delusional (yet), i mean i guess if u wanna get creative with it, I think, personally,
I could beat some of them in a drinking game lol
Like maybe Sky, Hyrule, Four, Wild, and (to his lightweight dismay) Legend, just bc im not a lightweight so thatd be funny
But general strength? Nah probably none of them
But u wanna hear my delusional takes on this, like if i would just swing regardless of actual strength discrepancy,
Weirdly enough, Hylia? LMAO
*
(Warning, Hylia bashing, if u like her a lot for whatever reason and are going to feel the need to comment in her defense, pls find another post to do that on, this rlly isnt that serious)
*
Alright, let me explain, let me explainnn
So i saw LU blogs defend this better than me, but basically Hylia (not Zeldas) is like lowkey another root cause for problems in Hyrule, she kind of encourages this endless cycle of abuse of "heroes" or mortals, to enlist in this eternal battle against Demise/Ganon, when he's technically immortal, and she should be fighting him herself.
Or at least not making mortals (who can Die) fight for her, especially with the setup being a SINGULAR MORTAL. like not even an army of mortals
(Like i get it, its for stupid-plot-not-rlly-thought-out-reasons so the games get to exist, but suspend ur disbelief pls, assuming this is now a real universe that ive got dropped into)
There are other reasons, like how she possesses every Zelda lowkey against her will, or without her permission to be in her body at least, and that she sort of? I thought, like? Wants to to be with Link every time? Feels kinda creepy?
Idk that one may not be true, but there are way cooler blogs out there that have a nicer receipt list of beef with Hylia, pls find them
But most importantly, if u take nothing else away from this, its that, someone out there, in the depths of LU tumblr, gave reasonable, logical, justifications about how Legend could take down Hylia on his own.
She's basically all magic, so if she suddenly had no more magic in this scenario, im betting that i could at least tackle her and turn it into a bar fight lol
Revenge for all the Links u could say,
I actually thought abt making a fic that had smth like this premise, but eh, ive got so much to write abt rn i havent taken it on
Plus, hey, who doesn't wanna fight God a little?
Hope that answered ur question! Or at least was entertaining!
Sorry if u rlly like Hylia for whatever reason and i just shat on her for like a small paragraph, idk, just unread it or smth
(Im still watching a playthru of SS, but i think i also could specifically take Ghirahim in a arm wrestling contest, ok thank you, good night)
Peace out,
🌙
