okay but why is no one ever talking about that HILARIOUS scene in season 3 when Rossi comes back to the FBI and he meets Hotch again after many years THIS SCENE IS SO FUNNY I CAN'T
at first Strauss comes in and she wants to formally reintroduce them to each other
Tumblr media
so she starts saying "Agent Hotchner, I'm sure you remember..." but Hotch cuts her off immediately and him and Rossi hug each other and they're basically MAKING OUT FOR FIVE MINUTES STRAIGHT with STRAUSS STANDING THERE
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
this is already hilarious and at this point I'm already dead AND THEN THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER LIKE THIS!!!
Tumblr media
I mean??? What is this scene even??? THIS IS SO FUNNY
and if it wasn't enough they then turn around to Strauss and they're like "Wait, what is she still doing here?" and she's just standing there like "yeah whatever I never cared about your stupid boys clubs anyway" hahaha
Tumblr media
I LOVE this scene, everything about it is just hilarious!!

Do you think the HACKS writers will reunite Deborah with her sister in the second season? They've left the role ambiguous enough for any actress to swoop in and scoop it up. Is there any actress in particular that you'd like to see in the role?
Ahhhh oh my god I actually do have a fancast! I just checked IMDB and it looks like Linda Purl played her in 1x08 - I know nothing about her and I’m sure she’s fine, but I agree that there’s room for another actress to step into the role assuming Kathy plays a bigger role next season. Anyway, I fell in love with Jean during season 5 of 24 way back in 2006, and Jayne Atkinson starred in the same season (friends, I was thirteen years old and watching this with my family which meant that they had the ~joy of watching me fall head over heels for middle aged actresses in real time, which none of us realized would define my entire young adulthood, lmao). But anyway, yeah, I rewatched season five for the first time in a very long time a couple of months ago and I got sad all over again that Jean and Jayne’s characters never overlapped. They could easily play sisters and I think Jayne has the right vibe for Kathy’s character, so she’s been my fancast for awhile!

Strauss: Who's in charge?
Rossi: Well, usually that’s whoever yells the loudest.

CBS’s new federal cop procedural Clarice is a little bit grittier than the majority of crime shows on network TV. It also flips the perspective on the mainly male POV of the genre. Both of these innovations can be attributed to the source material. The series is a sequel to the story told in Jonathan Demme’s psychological horror classic The Silence of the Lambs. It distinguishes itself from the film and the original book in two ways. The first is the crimes which are being investigated. There is no traditional serial killer. Oh, there are people who fit the legal definition, that’s part of the setup, but Clarice is playing a longer game. The VICAP Fly Team, the exclusive unit on the series, is after something far more insidious...
