day in the life as a strawhat pirate

-> very messy, very cute, very fluffy.

-> i don't think any pronouns are used except for "you" but i had a male reader in mind when i was writing it...SHOUTOUT

you wake up - luffy's foot is in your mouth, but also at the same time, his other foot is wrapped around your legs??? he stretched in his sleep and has trapped you in some very odd body trap...it takes you yelling at him to even wake him up.

sanji is the first to wake up, usually, and when you get to the kitchen the breakfast is waiting for you. now you have to sleepily fight for your share of the food because luffy is hangry (his default mood when he wakes up is hangry because he hasn't eaten yet...since he just woke up...) and then also there are 9 other hands that are fiending for all the dishes on the table.

after surviving a war in the dining room, you hope to take some time to relax. but that doesn't exist on the thousand sunny since chopper and usopp are quick to get into their shenanigans. they call you over, wanting to show you a creation that the sniper made, only for you to get a pie of whip cream to the face. they called you over so that they could prank you and now were rolling on the deck laughing about it.

instead of skewering them alive, you decide to take the peaceful route in going to the bathroom to wash your face off. oh, but franky is already in the bathroom taking his morning shower.

you get a face full of cyborg and a very girlish scream escapes his mouth when he realizes that you are standing at the entrance, watching him sing into the shower bottles - naked and all. he then screams out for how he can get no privacy, but you're just too determined to clean your face of the whip cream that you don't really pay him any mind.

when you get out of the bathroom, now having peace in mind, there is a rabid sanji and zoro fighting each other. they're at each other's throats for whatver reason and when they catch you walking down the hallway, they involve you in their fight...for whatever reason.

they're asking you to take a side, who was right in their idiotic fight, but they're both shouting so loud and at the same time you can't even process what either of them are saying. you can only blanky stare back at them as their huffing and puffying to regain their breaths from their nonstop yelling.

and then their expressions go back to being angry, but not at each other - at you, for seemingly being too neutral and not staking a claim to one of their sides. it's all just their adrenaline ramped up to a thousand (even though it's barely been an hour since they've woken up) and now they're trying to make your reaction the same.

you can only sigh, shoving your palms into their faces, and making them clear a path for you to leave the hallway. this makes their bickering turn back to each other instead, their shouts echoing all over the thousand sunny.

just when you finally think, maybe robin or jinbe could offer you comfort in peace, no! brook and nami are actually fighting about something on deck. as you listen in you hear about how brook is the one stealing their undergarments at night - that's enough for you to step in and deal with the perverted skeleton. a punch to his skull is enough to knock some sense into him (nami laid out a couple of her own on his head before you arrived)

nami thanks you in a sigh of exasperation. she offers you a slice of the tnagerine she had peeled, which she gingerly feeds you when you accept. and her face mimics that of an angel, eyes closed as she smiles kindly at you...before she barks at brook to make up for his odd, perverted actions by playing her her favorite song.

and even though you do enjoy brook's violin playing, that is just not your definition of peace right now. maybe any other day, but just not right now.

so you go below deck and finally find your favorite people: robin and jinbe. you practically collapse on jinbe, murmuring about how tired you were despite the day just starting, and robin laughs at your fatigue. she begins to read aloud for the three of you whilst jinbe's hand comfortingly goes up and down your back. she looks at your figure, observing your peaceful expression, before fluidly going back to reading aloud the history book she picked up.

jinbe is laid out against the cushioned seats so really, he's acting as a big bed for you and you definitely do not pass up the chance to catch a quick cat nap. and hopefully this time when you wake up, your captain's foot won't be in your mouth <3

I don't know if I related the autism or ADHD aspects well, sorry about that :s and I don't know why whenever I write something about Kid pirates, reader tends to bite people jhadjhs omg it's a headcannon that I can't get out of my head sorry 😭🤚

─ You and Chopper are the spoiled and protected of the ship for being young.

─ Although they are more careful with you because well, you'll simply end up lost in some random place due to your attention deficit at the least convenient times.

─ It was hard for you to trust them at first but your weak point was Brook and Franky, they were the most outstanding and cool, of course Robin's kindness also captured your sensitive part.

─ They find it adorable how sometimes you just ramble out loud about everything you see in the place or think about something that catches your attention.

─ I can see how Zoro, Brook and Luffy think that you are just a little stupid and distracted (like their captain) and that the ones who really know about your ADHD are the rest, maybe Usopp thinks that you are also something wrong with directions just like Zoro.

─ Robin tries not to overload you with the tasks you have to do, she always gives you a hand if she sees that you are starting to dissociate more than normal.

─ Luffy will be the one to end your most hyperactive side, he will make you tired when playing with him, although he have to change games every so often because you'll simply get bored.

─ Franky or Usopp will make small de-stressing or sensitive objects to help you if you need them or make you feel better.

─ You don't know how you do it, but you always end up in all the villains' speeches, you try to listen to their story but you just get bored and end up ignoring them until the fight breaks out, you have the nerve to even sleep while someone tells how miserable their life was, but you know, you don't care for and dislike most adults.

─ But don't worry, you have a whole crew that covers your back while you sleep on these occasions.

"My parents were killed by pirates, my daughter, my wife… everything was destroyed by vile beings like you all, that's why I swore revenge for-"

The words of the angry person next to you went to the back of your mind, you let out a yawn even though your head continued to watch the surroundings as you fiddled with your hands, somewhat impatient for all the chatter to end.

You tried to stay focused on at least one thing, which was usually Usopp's nose, why? No idea, you just liked it because it was unusual, even though you don't think the crew you're with is normal.

You didn't even notice how a knife was thrown at you for simply not paying attention to your surroundings, Zoro's sword quickly deflected it as Nami pulled you closer to her, you looked at her silently asking if she needed anything, at this point you had forgotten that you were in the middle of starting a fight.

"Just stay by my side, okay?"

"Why- Oh, careful!"

Pulling out your own weapon you fended off an attack coming towards you, your mind coming to its senses as to the current situation, taking another approach, your hyperactive side taking over the rest of the battle where luckily you could focus on an enemy, although you had many weak points, Sanji took care to cover them so that you could concentrate on your fight without distractions that could injure you.

"Nice, you're giving them a beating!"

And in the middle of the battle Luffy took it upon himself to break all your concentration with his praise, which you loved to receive like a puppy hungry for acceptance, you turned around ignoring your opponent's attack, smiling at Luffy as you gave him some thumbs up.

"Luffy, this is not the time!"

Jinbe deflected the attack coming at you for paying attention to your captain instead of the fight you were fighting, again preventing you from getting hurt, though before you knew it the battle was already over and now everyone was just scolding Luffy while that Chopper checked if you had hurt without realizing it.

─ He took you as a patient to analyze for your unusual behavior.

─ Then he simply appreciated your skills without giving importance to your ADHD or signs of autism, at least it was something that made you look at him with different eyes, he didn't treat you as someone different just because of your small condition.

─ The relationship with them at the beginning was a complete tug of war of insults, absurd fights and a lot of disrespect towards them for the simple fact of being older than you, maybe the only one who was saved from all your crap was Bepo because an animal that speaks? It was the coolest thing you've seen so far in your short life.

─ After a while you started to get along better with everyone, Shachi's and Penguin's jokes started to make you laugh, Law easily earned your respect, Ikkaku was very nice to you as was Jean Bart when you joined permanently.

─ Although from time to time you mess with them as a joke, only small harmless fights.

─ Law takes care of your problem with attention deficit, giving you activities that keep your mind active efficiently, however Shachi and Penguin end up messing up your concentration somehow.

─ You usually help Ikkaku in the kitchen, although sometimes she's the one who has to help you because you try to do so many things at once (and end up not completing any) that you need her to organize the things you have to do.

─ Normally they have you in the rear when they fight, they are not risking your little habits hurting you, although Law is not one to confront someone directly, he is more cunning than that.

─ Of course, on many occasions you have broken that moment of secrecy that they need but they have never thrown it in your face, they know the consequences of your distractions but they will not leave you behind.

You were on an undercover mission with Jean Bart, both of you acting like family having a drink in a bar while what you really want is to listen to the conversation of a few pirates that Law wanted to steal a map from.

The others were also around controlling the rest of the crew and their movements, and you were really doing well, behaving like a minimally normal teenager without anything distracting you for more than a few seconds, you had been training your concentration but there are moments when those intrusive thoughts win.

Today and now seemed to be the right time for your impatience and impulsiveness to drive you enough to break the role you were playing, listening to the conversation of an adult who seemed to be an idiot, although everyone seemed so to your eyes, it was a breaking point.

"You're so damn annoying! Just tell me where you got that damn map you stole!"

You jumped out of your seat pointing your weapon at the man who nearly fell over in shock at your aggressiveness and spontaneity, and immediately everyone jumped into the fight aware that you had exposed your stealth strategy.

"You've lasted longer concentrated than last time, keep it up!"

"I don't need your stupid flattery!"

Ignoring the guy you were threatening Shachi distracted you, which led to Jean Bart stopping a small blade you didn't see directed at your abdomen, Law switched your location to his and did the job of the threat quickly with the help of his power.

"You have to control yourself more, we will not always be there to cover you."

You crossed your arms a little annoyed that they didn't let you finish the job they had given you, also blaming yourself internally for messing it up again, but Bepo took care to make you think of other things when he asked for your help to organize the new loot obtained, although it took the rest of the day because you just stood around taking a good look at all the cool stuff.

No one would blame you for your little outbursts or for your curious habits, that's how you were, that's how they accepted you and that's how they love you, after all, you were unique in your own way.

─ You probably looked like a wild animal to them the first time they saw you because you attacked them for trespassing on your property, more like the forest you lived in.

─ You were practically a wild and completely impulsive, simple-minded person who was raised by, in fact, animals.

─ Adults normally came to destroy the nature of your home, and you developed a certain hatred towards them. Kid noticed this when he found you again biting a villager who tried to hunt a rabbit that was originally your prey.

─ It was so hilarious that he thought you would be a good addition to the team, you were just as rude as them although he also noticed that you had concentration problems, he thought it wouldn't be a big problem.

─ Ah yes, the reliable old one, he just dragged you onto his ship and at first it was like you were an abused cat getting used to a new life where they didn't abuse it, lots of scratching, biting and hissing if any of them dared to get too close.

─ Once you gain confidence or at least, accept their presence without hating them, they will find your impulsiveness amusing when it comes to battles, they just sit and watch how you fight against five men much stronger than you, keeping them at bay because your lack of focusing on a single target makes you somehow attack everyone at once.

─ Although Killer always has an eye on you, you are too young to end up dead because of your impulsiveness.

─ They don't care about your strange nature, they simply interpret your autism as if it were the fault of your contempt for adults for being away from society for so long.

─ I can see that these idiots only increase your attention deficit instead of helping you, as if they had competitions to see who can distract you the most.

You were calmly observing some fish, everything was strangely calm, you frowned, touching the tips of your fingers to your thumb in succession as you turned around only to be greeted by a necklace that was swinging slowly between Wire's fingers, your attention being immediately stolen by some floating bolts because of Kid.

You shook your head back to your thoughts, you knew they were trying to have one of their silly competitions over who could get your attention the easiest and you were simply too proud to fall for their tricks again.

"Oh look, a sea king!"

You cursed yourself internally when you fell into the trap of one of the boys, getting your attention back to the immense sea in search of that creature, you returned the gaze with some insults that only made everyone laugh, they continued trying to steal your attention but you just focused on other things like the seagulls or the clouds.

Inevitably your brain shut down and got carried away when you saw a big blaze of fire as well as the slightly warmer environment, no matter how many times Heat did that trick, he would always gain your attention by spitting fire, making you forget everything and focus just in the fire.

"Looks like I won again."

"You're just cheating! If I had more metal I could do a lot better than your stupid little flame."

And then started a discussion between Kid and Heat about which of the two would be better, Wire sneaked up to you, you looked at him while you moved your arms impatiently as if you were waiting for something to happen, he knew that when you started to move so much something was irritating you and if he didn't you want to start a fight where you'll probably end up biting someone's ankles he decided to take you to the kitchen with Killer.

"Have they started fighting again?"

It didn't take a word from Wire for the blond to know why you were there, he just nodded and left you both, Killer always knew how to make your hyperactivity not hurt you too much as well as your impulses, he gave you self-control methods, although they didn't always turn out well.

"Killer, I think I want to stick a fork into someone."

"And why this time?"

"It's just… an impulse, can I do it?"

"No..." you opened your mouth to complain but he continued "not someone from the ship, we'll talk about it when we disembark on the next island."

"Yes, sir…"

Killer smiled vaguely as he saw how in a couple of seconds your attention simply went to the kitchen stools, you had been in the habit of placing them in a specific way because if it didn't bother you, at least he thought this helped you to forget your desire to stick a fork into someone.

“Okay, are we ready?” Reader exclaims, staring at his crewmates around him. Robin and Nami sat at a table nearby, with Sanji bringing them both snacks and compliments. Zoro sat down in his favorite corner, eyes closed, with Chopper standing close to him; Luffy sat at the head of the Sunny as usual, with Franky and Ussop sitting together, tinkering with some gadgets they had. Jinbe sat at the boat's wheel, keeping watch of the course ahead, Brook standing nearby with his violin.

He looked up at the reader, smiling and waving his bony hand in excitement

“Yes! Im excited to hear what Doctor Hiriluk has to say this time.”

“Yohohoho, and im excited to hear what new songs my old crew-mates have learned since the last time we spoke.”

He smiles

“I promise I’ll go around with everyone!”

He sweatdrops staring at the small girl next to him

“Umm Zoro, I think Kuina really wants to say some things to you…”

His eyes open, and he walks over

"What did you want, Kuina?" he said with a bit of annoyance

He laughs nervously

“she said your form was off in your last fight, that only an idiot would make such a mistake.”

He sighed and shook his head a bit

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind," he said sarcastically and started moving back to his corner

He sighs

“This is going to be a long one…Ah, Nami, Bellemere says you shouldn’t be hitting your crewmates.”

She gives a small sigh

"Well, when they don't listen, it's what happens. Thanks for the message." She said while fixing her bangs gently as she took a bite from her apple

“What about Mom?” Ussop questions, glancing at Reader

“She says you should be more careful with your experiments; she hates to see you get hurt when one of them goes wrong.”

He chuckles softly at that

“I’m not a little kid anymore, though…”He said before he fell quiet and went about working with his tools

He cackles at what the crew can only guess is something one of the ghosts has said

“Ussop~ Your mom says you will always be her little baby.”

“That’s what she said?!” His hand froze on the tool in front of him as the other slowly wiped away his sweat, his eyes wide in shock and even some embarrassment at his mother’s words

He can’t help but laugh even harder at Ussop's embarrassment; he glances to the side as his laughs die down, now just chuckles escaping him as he smiles gently at his crew and all the one-sided conversations they were having with their loved ones, every once in a while he would step in to deliver a message to them. Still, even if it was one-sided, none of them cared, happily chatting with their loved ones, knowing they were there, listening to them.

Okay I was honestly debating if to put this one on a timer and then delete it but I think I smoothed it out at the end, but still debating that one.

Black leather jacket with spikes, badges and whatnot. Spiky h/c hair piercings and tattoos all this with black ripped jeans with again different badges and other things on it and black combat boots. Usopp thought this looked quite scary. He looked quite scary. Well ok it looked badass not to mention the guy was handsome... but anyhow he looked like he was from a dark world which Usopp had no intention of entering

The strawhats docked on an island for supplies maybe a little rest and to reset the log pose they had about 1 maybe 1 and a half days. Robin, Nami and Sanji went shopping the girls for clothes Sanji to carry their bags and to buy food. Zoro went to drink beer and take a nap and Luffy went with him claiming he wants to eat (as always). Brook and Jinbe just wanted to look around town. That left Franky, Usopp and Chopper who wanted to go look for supplies for the ship or Usopps bombs and other things.

Thats where they saw him. The guy who sold every kind of parts for ships, to painting supplies, gases and more. He was a tall dude around 6'6 with h/l, h/c hair which was in spikes (or not you decide if it wasn't just ignore it), he had kind e/c eyes and greeted them with a friendly smile. Franky smiled back and got to business right away.

"Hey guys what can I help you with?" Asked the guy in a friendly tone. "We need some supplies for a ship" said Franky cautiously not to mention that they are pirates. "Oh you guys are the Pirates that just docked, ok what kind of parts do you need?" Said the s/c male. Franky, Usopp and Chopper stood there a bit baffled. Even after the guy knew they were pirates the kind smile didn't leave the strangers face.

While Franky was discussing the parts needed Usopp was quiet the whole time something was off with this guy, he looked scary (and handsome but Usopp did not admit that even to himself) but acted very kind and understanding. Not to mention based on what he heard from the conversation he knew what he was talking about. "HAHAHA" Frankies booming laugh got him out of his trance. The guy must have said something awfully funny since he was smiling as well a big smile, a very attractive smile. What? Usopp was very confused at this point. "I could really use someone like you on the ship to help with repairs wouldn't you say Usopp, Chopper?" Asked Franky smiling, the two were just standing there silently. "Sorry how rude of me" said the guy still smiling "I didn't even introduce myself Im Y/N". "Im Franky these two are Usopp and Chopper" smiled Franky while pointing at the two. Usopp and Chopper still didn't say anything. Teddy got down on one knee looked at chopper and reached in his pocket. The too scaredy cats were watching his every move when suddenly he pulled out candy from his pocket. "Do you want one little reindeer?" Asked Y/N with a smile Chopper immediately forgot his fear. Not only because the stranger had candy but because someone finally saw him as a reindeer at the first meeting and not a raccoon. He walked over to Y/N and took some candy. Y/N patted his head. Chopper looked up at him and a bit shyly but asked him: "what are those pointy things on your jacket?". The e/c eyed male laughed and answered: "They are spikes I wear them cuz I think it looks cool" smiled the man than put his tongue out in a rocker way to make the little reindeer laugh. Chopper did laugh and then asked: "Can I touch them?" Y/N smiled and motioned for him to come closer. Chopper liked his spikes very much he thought they are dangerous at first that they hurt, but they didn't. This way Chopper ended up sitting on Y/Ns shoulder. Usopp watched this whole scene with interest. You were THIS nice. Now he feels stupid for thinking you are mean or anything but the way you are dressed deceived him. Usopp was staring at you red faced. It was not only that you were really good looking you had the kindest personality as well and he really couldn't deny it any longer even to himself he liked you, a lot. Y/N looked at him next. "So you're Usopp?" He asked smiling maybe a bit red in the face...? Nah Usopps eyes were lying to him he surely just saw what he wanted to.

"I...uh...YES, I am the great captain Usopp indeed" he said while sweating trying to play it off full of pride. He was kind of embarrassed after a short silence and he was about to apologize when he heard the most pleasant laughter he had ever heard. Y/N laughed at his antics he thought it was hilarious. "Wow alright mighty and powerful captain Usopp" he said whit a mock bow, then they both started laughing Chopper didn't really get it he just sat on Y/Ns shoulder eating the Candy he got while Franky just looked at them with a knowing smile.

After they bought everything they needed (which took nearly the whole day since they had such a great time with Y/N) they had to go back to the ship. Usopp was not happy nor was Chopper and to be fair Franky also took a liking to Y/N so its safe to say none of them wanted to leave him on the island. Y/N was not happy either to see them go he had a great time and enjoyed Usopps funny antics to no end. How ever to recruit a new crew mate was not their job not to mention they had no idea if Y/N was any good in battle.

Usopp was sulking the whole way back. And on the ship as well. They planned to stay on the port of the island for the night then set sail in the morning.

Zoro was on night watch and all of a sudden he saw someone approaching the ship. He stood up to see if the person was actually coming to the ship, but there was no misunderstanding the person was coming to the ship with something on their shoulder and a small bag in their hand. Zoro reacted the moment he saw that that something on the strangers shoulders was an ax.

He jumped off the ship right on the stranger. However, to Zoros utter disbelief, they dodged it. Now that the street light helped him see he saw that it was a guy, wearing a leather jacket with spikes badges and what not. This did not interest him however the thing that bothered him was the ax on his shoulder and the fastness he dodged his attack with it was almost inhuman like.

"What do you want with this ship?" Asked Zoro accusingly. "Listen this is a misunderstanding-" but the stranger did not get to finish their sentence because Zoro attacked. To Zoros disappointed the stranger blocked all of his blows and dodged them with excellence and grace very much like he saw Mihawk do it. The only difference between this guy and Mihawk was that he didn't attack back he just kept defending and of course he used an axe. The rest of the strawhats woke up to this commission outside and watched the fight with shock. Someone holding their own against Zoro with one hand and a small axe without breaking a sweat or attacking back? This was crazy. The moment Usopp stepped on the front of the ship to see whats going on his eyes widened and he looked at Franky. "Isnt that-" "Yes he is" "shouldn't we-" "Yes we should" the two looked at each other then forward at the battle and started yelling "STOP STOP" very loudly Franky jumped off the ship to stop Zoro while Usopp ran over to Y/N to stop him as well.

"Huh?" Asked Zoro after Franky stood in front of him. "Why are you standing in the way?" He asked kind of upset, Franky didn't answer just looked at Y/N and asked "What are you doing here Y/N?".

"Im sorry to disturb your night but after I was going to close the shop I found Usopps bag, and I wanted to return it, so after I left the shop I tried to find your ship based on how you guys described it and well I got kinda lost thats why I only got here this late" explained the s/c male panting lightly due to dodging Zoros attacks. Usopp got red in the face, very red, he left his bag there and didn't even notice since he was busy thinking about Y/N all night. "Thanks Y/N so much somehow I didn't even notice" "Wait you know this punk?" Asked Zoro.

"Wow you're quick" laughed Y/N lightly this made others chuckle a bit as well. "We bought ship supplies from him he was the shop keeper we were telling you about during dinner" yelled Chopper excitedly while running to Y/N to sit on his shoulders. "I don't care what shop you own how did you dodge my attacks this effortlessly?" Asked Zoro still a bit pissed. "Oh thats all thanks to my dad he trained me all my childhood" answered Y/N truthfully. "Your dad? Who is your dad if I may ask the way you move reminds me of someone" asked Sanji. He took a liking to the punk the moment he made fun of Zoro. when franky introduced you to your new bedroom after the construction of the sunny, you couldn’t help but dread it, at first. 

granted, you had known it was coming. you were a new crewmate who came after robin—you had met the strawhats over in mock town, already on the run from your other life—so it was pretty obvious she wasn’t going to move out. nami had been with luffy from the beginning, so she wasn’t going anywhere fast—so when franky mentioned a second bedroom for the girls during his design of the sunny, you knew that it would be for you and whoever else would join along the way. just made sense.

so when you walked inside the room for the first time, you couldn’t help but feel a sense of dread—one that was unwarranted, of course. even two years ago, the room was and still is gorgeous. 

because of its position on the ship, the room's shape was circular. on one side of the room was a curved little bookshelf and a desk for you to work/write in. on the other side was a dresser for your clothes (with a mirror hanging on the wall) and a place for you to hang and maintain your weapons. 

then, right in the center that completed the circular shape—in front of the three windows that peek out at the ocean’s depth, the sway of seaweed and the movement of fish—was the bed. it was huge, so much that it took up space from one end of the first window to the last. atop the mattress was a huge dark purple comforter that could cover probably five of you, and at the top were a series of pillows in black and purple pillow cases so soft looking, you worry they might disappear with the briefest of touches.

and despite everything, you stepped up and sat on the edge of it. even just sitting and running your hands along the comforter, you were ready to absolutely melt into the bed. almost angry about it, your hands clenched around the softness. it’s perfect. 

god, why did it have to be perfect?

“hey, kid. is, uh. everything okay?” franky asked, a bit awkward. nervous, maybe?

(you totally understood. it took you weeks to get used to life here. the last thing you wanted to do was make life for a new crewmate difficult.)

so, with many conflicting emotions twisting your insides, you looked up at him with a smile.

“it’s great, franky! just perfect.”

franky then grinned, and did his usual pose. “super~! let me know if you need anything.”

you nodded and watched him leave you to get used to it all.

and that was that.

so looking back, you always knew your issue with sleeping alone would come back to haunt you one day—but this was never how you expected it to go.

first, let’s set the scene:

tonight is one of those nights where you struggle with sleeping alone the most. while robin, jinbe and franky are out on the island, spending the night in a room they rented, nami is spending the night with usopp and a nice girl she picked up from the island, so she likely isn’t going to sneak into your bedroom for you two’s semi-regular sleepovers. chopper is sleeping like the dead, the way he usually does after having warm milk before bed. 

and brook?

uh…actually, you don’t know what he’s doing. you’re kind of afraid to think about it, considering everyone else listed above (except for chopper, the sweet winter child) is—busy. but he’s somewhere. you just don’t know where.

(which is plenty fine, he’s not one of your usual snuggle buddies anyway)

point is, the usual people who usually help lull you to sleep with their company can’t tonight, leaving you to deal.

and on most nights, you usually can deal with sleeping alone, resulting in at least a decent amount of sleep—just not tonight.

you spend some time frowning up at the ceiling of your bedroom. each of the glow in the dark stars are shining brightly and beautifully as always. the rocking of the ocean outside your windows, with the occasional bubbling from a fish swimming by and the muffled sounds of oceanic life your windows are as soothing as ever. your huge bed is soft and warm, with the pillows behind your head feeling like a cloud as always.

but as it turns out, as lovely as your bed and bedroom are, none of it is enough to calm your mind tonight.

so, with a huff of frustration, you kick away the dark purple sheets and get up from the bed. you walk over to your dresser and pull out a pair of shorts and the sports bra you usually wear to work out. then you remove your pajamas.

once you’re dressed, you walk out of the room and head towards the deck. with a few leaps here and there, you manage to make your way up to the crow’s nest. maybe lifting some weights in the gym will help you finally feel tired enough to sleep.

this leads you to the present: you’re standing in the doorway of the crow’s nest, a small towel slung over your shoulder. you are staring at the scene before you with wide eyes, your hand frozen around the doorknob and your heart beating several hundred miles a minute—and you haven’t touched a single weight yet.

they don’t notice you at first.

luffy is still pulling on sanji’s hair from behind, bending the cook’s neck at an angle so he can bite and mouth at the side of his neck and a bit of his shoulder. sanji is staring upward at the ceiling with glossy blue eyes and his back is arched into luffy’s chest, his mouth parted to release strained groans. and right between sanji’s spread legs, his tan hands hooked under pale knees is zoro, relentlessly fucking his cock inside like he intends to make himself and sanji one being. 

oh god, you swallow hard, a raging heat seeping inside your blood and rushing just about everywhere. the pupils in your eyes are dilated, soaking it all in like the greedy little bitches they are. oh GOD.

how long do you stare? honestly, about a minute. to you, though, it might as well be an hour because you see way too much in this small minute of watching three of your crewmates going at it like animals, like monsters.

when it comes to battle, the three of them are a force of nature within their own right. but together like this? they are a mass of sweating muscles and groans and murmurs of pleasure of push and pull and hands upon hands and those smirks.

(mean, you think when you see how the sides of luffy’s grin curl as he wraps his hand around sanji's pretty cock, a hot shiver going down your spine, and then again when you hear how zoro chuckles darkly at the absolutely fucked out expression sanji begins wearing. mean mean mean—)

that’s about the moment when you lose it.

the sound that comes from your mouth is not a scream, exactly. more like a soft squeak that trails off into something like a moan. either way, it’s still enough to make all three men jolt and freeze in place. their eyes go wide as plates and they slowly turn to finally see you standing there.

they stare at you; you stare at them.

suddenly, luffy beams. 

“hey, bunny!” he says, using your usual nickname.

“s-sweetness!" sanji cried, his face a bright red and his eyes frantic as he waves his hands in front of him. “i swear, this isn't what it looks like—”

zoro snorts. “cook, she can clearly see that i'm like balls deep in you—this is absolutely what it looks like,” he adds to you.

an odd giddy feeling bubbles up from your stomach, and you honestly feel like giggling madly because seriously, what the fuck, how is this my life.

instead, this comes out of your mouth instead.

“y-you all realize this is the gym, right?"

once again, in silence, they stare at you.

“…the one w-we're all supposed to use? as a crew? did…did any of you think about that b-before…?” 

they blink. then they look at each other.

“huh, now that you mention it,” zoro says, his brow furrowing as he looks around.

luffy bursts out laughing. “we really didn't, shishishi!”

“kinda takes the romance out of it, actually,” sanji lets out a rather despondent sigh. 

“can't rent a room either, the witch would never give us the extra money…”

“ah? what about the galley?”

“no, you dumbass! not only do i cook there, we eat there!”

“okay, but imagine all the fun stuff we can do with food in there—ow!”

“you just want an excuse to steal from the pantry—!”

as the arguing goes on, you watch them all closely. although their voices raise, there isn't really the heat you usually hear. you watch how luffy laughs at sanji's anger, how his hand gently strokes through blond hair all the while. you look at zoro's bored expression, then how one hand rests on luffy's shoulder while the other is tangled with the fingers of sanji's hand. and you realize, the fighting aside, what ties these men together is undoubtedly love—and that's enough to melt your heart.

this is when you start to get The Idea—the one idea that makes you realize you might have lost the plot entirely—and you press your mouth closed, as if to repress it. is this actually happening? are you doing this?

after all, your crewmates—these three men you love deeply enough to fight for them, die for them—are in love. who are you to stand in the way of love?

fuck it, i'm doing it.

“i mean…you can always use my room.”

once again, all three of them freeze and look at you. they seem to pause a moment, their minds needing to catch up to what you said.

“wait, seriously?!” luffy exclaims first with a wide grin, his cheeks a bit flushed.

“i-i get to finally see my sweetness's bedroom?" sanji says, mostly to himself, his face completely red and eyes full of that adoration he always directs to you and women in general. a bit of blood begins dripping from his nose. “her special, personal bedroom? covered with her scent? all her things?”

“no offense, bun," zoro says dryly, raising an eyebrow. “but have you completely lost the plot?”

haha, probably.

despite your thinking, your brow draws downward to make your expression flat. you lift your hands to silence whatever else might come out of their mouths and—amazingly—they pause to wait, their eyes wide and all full of…something as they regard you.

“look, i already have insomnia on a semi-regular basis. i struggle with sleeping alone, this isn’t a secret,” you say. “most times, i either go up here to work out and make myself tired, or i head down to the library to read a book. either way, i’m usually gone for like an hour or two. so i’m thinking that occasionally—let’s say, once a week—during these moments, you three can borrow my room and use it to do…well, whatever you three do together.”

zoro’s eye flashes, with a noticeable twitch of his jaw. he looks over at luffy, who is nearly bouncing on the heels of his feet, his grin a little too wide and eager at this piece of information. luffy looks at zoro, then at sanji. sanji looks ready to faint from sheer happiness.

“a bed,” you hear him murmur, in a way that sends a pang of sympathy through your chest. “an actual bed. and it’s where my sweetness sleeps a-and—”

“sounds a little too good to be true,” zoro says, ever the skeptical one. with a narrow of his eye, he asks, “what’s the catch?”

fortunately, you already have the answer. 

“no catch, just three rules,” you tell them, before starting to list off your fingers, “one: if you need to use my room, you need to let me know ahead of time. two: any messes you leave, you clean up. and i mean, clean. whether it’s a wipedown, bleach, whatever—as long as my room looks like it did when i left it, in some manner. 

“and three: you have to change my sheets before you leave my room. not my pillowcases, of course, but maybe my quilt and bed sheets—essentially whichever is on my bed when you three…do your thing. and you have to wash them the next day!”

those are your terms and conditions, and you are determined to stick with them. so, folding your arms, you stop there and look at them. 

the three stand there, looking at you and then looking away to think. then suddenly, after a thoughtful hum, luffy taps sanji and zoro’s shoulders and draws them into a huddle. they start talking in whispers and murmurs that you can’t really hear from your place at the door—but you find the situation rather comical. sanji’s still barely clothed, his shirt practically hanging off his shoulders and his dick (which you totally aren’t staring and drooling over; obviously) still out and his legs still bare to the world. zoro is basically in a similar state, although his pants are still somewhat on, just hanging a bit low. luffy is actually the most put together—still wearing his cardigan, his denim shorts, yellow sash, and of course his straw hat—which kind of shocks you yet doesn’t, somehow. 

part of you wonders the details about their dynamic. just as quickly though, with a hot blush in your cheeks, you shake it off. 

not my business, you tell yourself. i’m just a friend helping my three friends out. nothing more, nothing less.

after about a minute, the three men seem to come to a sort of consensus. with a nod, all three of them turn to face you, each wearing expressions full of determination and—be still your insane heart—anticipation.

“bunny,” luffy says, stepping forward. there’s something dangerous in his crooked grin before he stretches out his hand. “you’ve got yourself a deal!”

welp, fuck. no turning back now.

despite the trembling that starts from within your body, you lift your hand to clasp his in a firm handshake. 

“we’ve got ourselves a deal,” you confirm.

smiling, luffy stares into your eyes a bit more, his dark gaze boring into you as your hands stay connected. you’re not certain what he’s looking for, but when he finds it, he tips his hat over his eyes—and then begins to laugh.

“this is gonna be fun!”

Luffy x Reader

"HEEEEEEYYYYYYYYY!!! IS ANYONE HERE?!!!!" Luffy called into the darkness, running around. "ZORO?! NAMI?! SANJI?! JINBE-"

"Oi! Cut it out," you told the loud boy.

"Hm?" Luffy turned to you. "Who are you?"

A simple question yet difficult to answer. You shifted your sitting position, tapping your chin. A few minutes of silence passed by as you hummed. Finally, you looked at the strawhat boy.

"I remember being called [N/n] once but I don't think that was my name," you answer him.

"Okay, where are we?" Luffy glanced around to emphasize he didn't know where he is.

"The void, limbo, eternal darkness," you shrug your shoulders. "Call it what you want, we're in the middle of nowhere."

"Huh, weird..." Luffy commented as adjusted his strawhat back. "Welp, it was nice meeting you but I gotta find the exit!"

"There is no-" You couldn't finish since he took off in a random direction. "...exit."

"Took you a while to get back," you greeted the strawhat boy as he came from the opposite direction he ran off to.

"Huh? How did I get back here?" Luffy inquired, scratching his head.

"I'm not sure but I think this place loops back to where you start."

"No, that can't be right." He started running in another direction.

"I already tried!" You tell him but he was already out of sight. "He'll figure it out for himself eventually."

You leaned onto your back, closing your eyes. It felt a little strange getting company again, but you found the boy amusing to keep you entertained. The sound of footsteps passes by a few times, luring you to sleep.

"Hey, [N/n]." 

You woke up to the ravenette male shaking your torso. Peaking an eye open, he got the message you were listening. Letting go of you, he plopped down facing you.

"Do you know where the exit is?"

You sat up, looking at the boy who stared blankly at you. Ruffling your hair, you sighed, "What's your name?"

"I'm Monkey D. Luffy, the man who will be the future king of the pirates!" For the situation he's in, this guy sure is enthusiastic.

"Well, Luffy, I tried telling you earlier but you were busy running around."

"Shishishi, my bad," Luffy chuckled. "So, where is the exit?"

"There is no exit."

"What?" The smile disappeared, replaced with disbelief.

"There. Is. No. Exit." You repeated to the pirate, slower this time so process the words easier.

"That's crap!" Luffy yelled at you. "There has to be an exit here somewhere!"

You shrug your shoulders and folded your arms. You leaned away from him in case he shouted in your ear again. "Well, in my time here I've never found an exit, don't know how long that's been," you mumble the last part.

"Maybe you didn't look hard enough!"

"You might be right, I mean, I did see a few people appear and disappear from time to time." You frown your brows, trying to recall when they came and how they left. Shuffling through the empty memories, you could only ever recall seeing them but never how they came or left. "I think the last one had an orange hat with two blue faces on the brim."

"ACE WAS HERE!?!" Luffy gasped, leaning dangerously close to your face.

You placed a hand on his face and pushed him back, not wanting any accidents to happen.

"The name rings a bell," you replied. "The guy kinda looked like you, you related or something?"

"Ace is- ...Ace was my brother..."

Silence floods the room, bringing heavy tension into the air. You sense the sadness in the boy's heart, you could connect the dots. You glanced to the side.

"I see..." You let silence hang around for a little longer before continuing. "What's the year out there?"

"1524, I think."

"So it's been two years," you muttered to yourself with a smirk. "Heh, shorter than the last time I checked."

"Last time?" Luffy tilted his head in curiosity.

"Heh heh, well, last I asked fifty years had passed since the visitor before your brother."

"WHAT?!" Luffy's eyes popped out of their sockets. "BUT YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE MY AGE!"

You let out a loud laughing fit. Whether you thought his response was genuinely funny or the insanity's way of reacting to your messed up situation, you laughed hard enough that tears fell from your eyes. Recollecting yourself, you wipe the water from your cheek and smile at him.

"Yeah... I couldn't believe it myself when I found out how much time passed the first time I asked." Your smile shrinks to a sadder one. "It's been over 800 years..."

"YOU'RE THAT OLD!?" Luffy's jaw dropped to the floor. You nod in response. His face became blank, a hand scratching the back of his head. "Wait... 800 years... 800 years..." Steam flew out of his brain. "Wait, that's the void century!"

"The what?" You stared at him puzzled.

"At least, that's what Robin calls it. Something about the history of that century erased from existence..." Luffy scratched his head some more.

"Oh... I see." You bit your lip.

It was one thing to know you've been gone from your world for over 8 centuries, but to know that everything known about your era is gone from existence hit differently. You had hoped that if you somehow got out of the void you'd find some elements of home sticking around. That was the last dream that kept you going.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Luffy asked, noticing your slumped shoulders and the hair falling over your eyes. He watched as you tipped to your side, laying down, curling into a ball. "[N/n]?"

♡Jinbei x Fishman!Male!Reader {Part II}

WARNINGS: Cursing, slight angst

♡You stirred in your sleep, you were having a nightmare. It was about Jinbei leaving you because he realised he didn't need you anymore, a nightmare for sure. You had woken up in a cold sweat, your breathing was slightly unsteady as your eyes were watering up. You quickly wiped away the tears and steadied your breathing when you realised it was nothing but a nightmare.

♡You laid back down, you didn't sleep for the rest of night, how could you? Doubts of if Jinbei loved you filled your mind. You got on your side and propped your head on the palm of your hand, you were so lost in thought that you didn't realise it was morning and that Sanji had left the quarters, it was until Luffy yelled "Breakfast!" and ran out of the room that you realised you hadn't slept. You felt a lil bit bad for lying to Jinbei last night but you don't need him to help you with this, you can you it on your own.

♡You glanced around and saw you were in the men's quarters since all you saw were the boys fast asleep, you don't remember much about the day before. "Hmm {Y/N}, what are you doing awake?" You perked up and turned your head to see Jinbei laying on his back looking at you, "Oh I just woke up, I think I'll stay up a lil bit longer before I go back to sleep, you should get some rest," You said with a closed eyed smile. "If something is bothering you, you needn't hesitate to wake me up," He said before closing his eyes. "Oh uh sure, I will," You said before turning back around and frowning.

♡You got up and saw Jinbei yawn and smiled, "Have a good night sleep my good sir?" You said as you crouched down next to him, he grumbled a bit about how loud it was. You chuckled, "Come on you got this starfish," You said as you helped him sit up, he groaned at the nickname, "I am not a starfish," He said as he balled up his fist and gently hit you on the head, you laughed at him and helped him up, "I know," you stuck you tongue out at him and left the room with him. You didn't eat breakfast since you weren't hungry, and decided to lay out in the sun on the large patch of grass on the Sunny.

♡You didn't do much the rest of the day and had a frown on your face as you slept through the next 2 days. It was worrying Jinbei, he knew you were upset about something but decided to not pry until he saw you burst awake in the middle of the day in a slight panic. You quickly got up and rushed to get off the boat, which startled Usopp that was working near a sleeping Zoro. Jinbei decided to follow you into the ocean, when he saw you swimming towards a small cave if rocks he slowly swam near the entrance, hearing you sobbing and telling yourself to stop crying and that you were weak, it made Jinbei frown.

♡You sniffled and wiped your face, "{Y/N} it doesn't make you weak to cry," Jinbei said to which you froze, wide-eyed. You gritted your teeth, you didn't want to face him. "{Y/N} I didn't want to pry into your personal life but now I feel like I must-" "No you don't, you don't want to know what's wrong with me, you just think that you can make up for the what you didn't do the last few months" you cut him off, words laced with anger. You got up and walked to him, grabbing his kimono and shoving him up against the rock wall, "What the hell do you think will make me forgive you for not sending me any kind of hint that you were doing well, I was scared that you died or maybe forgot about me, jinbei!" You yelled at him, he was shocked as tears fell from your eyes and your angered expression turned into one of sadness, "Do you not love me anymore?" You asked in a broken tone, shaking.

♡He quickly grabbed your face and smashed his lips into yours, pulling away just as fast as he did it, "Listen to me, I love you {Y/N}, more than anything, don't let the voices in your head or your nightmares tell you otherwise, alright?" He said with a serious tone, you nodded as more tears fell. He wiped your tears away, "And I'm sorry for not sending you letters about my whereabouts or conditions," you sniffles again, "It-It's alright, as long as your well now I don't mind," You looked each other in the eyes and leaned each others foreheads against each other, "I love you {Y/N},", "I love you too Jinbei," You said before tilting your head and closing your eyes. He closed his eyes as well before your lips touched.

♡You kissed a few more times, each kiss lingering longer before you both pulled away. You smiled at him as his face was flushed purple from the intimacy. You caressed his face as he leaned into your touch, "I...missed this, y'know" You said, "I did too," You let him go before realizing you had pushed him up against a rock wall, your face flushed at the position but you quickly felt guilty, "Fuck, jinbei, I'm sorry I didn't mean to push you against the rocks like that," You said in a slightly panicked state.

♡He waved you off, "It didn't hurt so I'm fine," he said nonchalantly. You looked at him with sad eyes, "Can I check your back when we get back on the ship, for scratches of course," you said quietly, he nodded. "We should head back now," You nodded as you both left the rock cave, you both swam back as you hopped onto the ship, scaring Usopp yet again. "Did everything go alright?" Robin asked, you looked at each other, Jinbei covered his mouth as he blushed slightly and you gave her a closed eyed, toothy grin, "Yep, everything went well," She smiled, "That's good," He said before going back to drinking his tea.

♡You both walking to the front of the ship to where Franky was, Jinbei went the wheel and just stayed there, to which you sat next to him and you both stayed there for the rest of the day, until Dinner was ready of course. You haven't eaten anything in the last 3 days, you were famished, maybe not only for food though.

little headcanons i have for halloween !! ! ! ( a a couple days after )

male reader, platonic pairings, straw hats are just a cute lil friendgrouip + don't ask me why zoro and luffys are so short, i don't know why either. i think they just got longer the more down the list you go sooorrryyyyy

— luffy definitely wants to do a group costume, something silly and fun. he tries his hardest in convincing everyone to get on board with the idea, but it seems like usopp and chopper are the only ones hearing him out </3 luffy would try hitting you with the puppy dog eyes, but you were already committed to your costume for a while so you had to reject the poor boy.

"b-but, [name]!!!" it was obvious the man was putting on his best whiny voice, elongating every syllable in your name just to sway you. he was also rocking the both of you back and forth in a hug to woo you over in joining his group costume. "it won't be the same without you dressed up with us!"

"luffy, i already decided my costume much earlier in the year, i'm sorry," you said, petting down his raven hair with an apologetic look on your face. but your words only sullened his mood further and made the pout on his face turn into an outright frown.

"but, [name]!!!" luffy began shaking you even more roughly, turning you into a bobble head figure basically. you couldn't do anything to break out of his strong grip and just had to take his torment with a smile.

"i'm sorry luffy," you said softly, runnng a hand up and down his arm to comfort him.

"i don't forgive you!" luffy childishly whined, releasing you from his hold and walking off to a different aisle in the halloween costume store. "whatever, you're the one missing out!"

"i believe you, luffy," you called out, laughing when you heard him grumble under his breath and stomp in annoyance.

— zoro definitely has a lazy ass costume, mainly because he thinks the holiday is a silly thing for children (usopp, luffy, and chopper all lectured him on how it wasn't like that at all). i'm thinking he jsut wrapped himself in toilet paper and said he was a mummy, also using his costume as an excuse to just speaks in grunts and groans to everyone else.

"zoro, could you pour me some more punch!" you had politely asked him as he was closest to the juice bowl. he simply shook his head with his arms crossed over his wrapped chest, giving you a firm, "arrhhggh,"

"zoro, what?"

"uurghghruuhg"

"okay, fuck you too,"

— nami is invested in making some money off of the holiday!! she's committed to it. she has a really pretty costume planned out and forces everyone to participate in a costume contest with a submission fee of 50 bucks, even though it was just your friend group participating. either way, she decides that the winner of the contest gets all the profit. so she wins - obviously in a non-rigged way - and cheers in victory. but even with all of her focus being on getting some cash out of the holiday, she does compliment your costume and slide you a couple bills.

"hm, i was scared you were gonna beat me, y'know?" she mused, looking at you with a mischeviously look on her face, "because i really like your costume, [name]! you look great!"

you grinned at the compliment, "thanks, you do too! and that's why you won, you have the best costume. plus, sanji would have never let me won that prize since he knows how badly you wanted the reward,"

she playfully rolled her eyes at the mention of the blonde, "yeah, well, sanji doesn't have to know about this then," she said, pulling some bills out from her pocket and putting it into your own. "next year don't expect this treatment though! i was feeling generous just now,"

you smirked, taking the cash from her happily and watching as she joined robin's side.

— usopp is the life of the celebration. he is the best story teller of horror stories, even if he himself gets scared of his own made up tales. he brings everyone into the center, under a huge blanket fort and tells the scariest story known to man. but when he reaches the climax, luffy suddenly pops his head into the enclosed space, loudly asking if anyone else wanted food, and completely threw usopp off of his game. the poor man let out a loud girlish scream and jumped into your lap to hide from luffy's grinning face.

"and then when the killer," usopp took a deep breath, looking at everyone's face individually, "finally came knocking on poor little billy's door, he was greeted by the sight of-"

"oh!! i'm getting more food from the kitchen, do you guys want anything?!" luffy had got up for a bathroom break earlier and completely ruined usopp's horror story. his make-up drenched face pushed the blankets aside and completely surprised everyone in the fort. especially usopp.

usopp jumped off of his sitting position and into your lap, hiding his face in your neck for some comfort. he was practically crying and whimpering from fear, eyes screwed shut as he refused to look at the demon (luffy) that was there to terrorize him and his friends (ask if they wanted more food).

"begone, demon!! begone!!" usopp pathetically cried out, also not even looking up at the supposed demon to condemn them.

"usopp, it's just luffy-"

"demon! demonic activity! demon!!!"

— chopper really enjoys the nature of halloween despite being scared very easily. while the place is in an uproar of just ultimate chaos, he's very kindly giving out candy to whoever comes by. unfortunately, not everyone that comes around is dressed in peaceful, cute costumes.

just as you were pouring another drink for zoro. there was a loud, girlish scream that was coming from the front door. the green haired man took the drink for himself, grunting at you. you could only guess what he meant by that.

but you didn't dwell on it further, moving to see what was at the front door. and lo and behold, there was chopper stiffly standing in front of someone in a freddy krueger costume.

"ah, sorry, he scares easily," you explained quickly, resting a hand on chopper shoulder and asking if he was alright. seeing that his shaking eyes were still trained on the figure, you decided to take the candy bowl from his hands and protectively stand in front of him.

even though this guy definitely didn't pose any harm to chopper, it would make the scared guy feel better (probably) to have a physical barrier between the two.

"here, have a good halloween," you said with a smile, making the freddy krueger nod in appreciation and then walk off of the porch. when they were gone, you closed and locked the door behind them and turned to chopper with a grin.

"c'mon man, they were just in costume," you teased, relieved to see chopper was out of his fearful state and instead blushing in embarassment.

"freddy was a scary guy!!" he argued, but it only made you pinch his cheeks in a harmless way.

"right, right, well you were very brave just now chopper,"

"of course i was!!!"

— sanji is dressed up as a prince and goes around proclaiming his loyalty to robin and nami the whole night. he becomes more playful, though, so he doesn't really give you guys (literally, the guys) a hard time. if anything, he joins in the shenagians and lets loose a little bit. one of the rare times you get to see sanji being a mischevious little shit.

"bleh! who put salt in the cupcakes instead of sugar?!"

cue sanji giggling behind his hand and shooting you a knowing look. you laugh with him, fist bumping him under the table while he watched luffy run around and wash his mouth under the kitchen sink.

"why is the frosting sour cream?! sanji, i'm gonna beat your ass up!!"

zoro chases after sanji, those being the first coherent words he says the entire night, mind you. and now they're both running in circles around you. sanji is laughing his ass off while zoro is spitting out globs of sour cream at him.

"sanji!!! why did you pout bittermelon in the stew this tastes like ass!"

"oh! i'm sorry, [name], that was supposed to be for franky," sanji apologized, going through the cabinets and finding some stew he put in the tupperware. it was still hot, you could tell from the bottom of the container.

"why are you so mean to them today?"

"i can just get away with it by sying it's a ghost," sanji shrugged, half-assedly answering your question. "besides, don't you think it's funny?"

"it is, but sooo heartless," you laughed, making the blonde nod his head in acknowledgement.

just as he was about to say something else, there was another shriek coming from the living area, "sanji!!! this isn't strawberry glaze, this is hot sauce!!!"

"why are you yelling for me, it was the ghost!!" sanji shouted back, making the both of you collapse on each other in laughter.

— robin enjoys how everything is so lively during halloween. she loves the spookiness, the decorations, the horror movies!!!, she just loves everything about the holiday. it's a genuinely fun time of the year for her so she just loves to take it easy with you guys.

robin was slumped against the sofa, chuckling at the way chopper and usopp shrieked at the character on the screen killing another person. it was a classic slasher film she suggested and no one had a problem with it, except for usopp and chopper being scared straight through their teeth.

meanwhile, you and robin were enjoying the movie with grins on your faces. you'd sometimes feed her popcorn, her doing the same for you, and then you'd both laugh quietly whenever usopp and chopper started getting really spooked.

after the movie, you and robin reconvened in the kitchen to get more refreshments. you were talking about the movie, chatting in good nature.

"i don't know, i still think stu macher is the best ghostface," you said with a smile, "billy is the one people always talk about, but stu is my favorite,"

"well, maybe the best ghostface, but i don't know about best slasher," she said in amusement, "i like jason,"

you grimaced, "really? his mask is so creepy,"

"that's why, his character is cool," robin shrugged, taking a cherry from the platter of eating it with a hum, "also, the movie was good, i liked it,"

you grinned, ruffling her hair as she shot you a mischevious grin. her affinity towards slasher, or any horror, movie was known amongst the friendgroup. she enjoyed the rush scary movies gave watchers.

"remind me to never cross you, who knows what you might do," you joked, making her scoff and lightly jab her finger into your side. she allowed you to rest your arm around her shoulder, the both of you walking back to the living room with a big bowl of popcorn and tray of drinks.

— franky is a big decorations guy. he makes everything so festive!! plus he goes all out. don't ask him why he decided to put a fake skeleton in the shower, he'll just respond that it was his creative vision and it was a good one too. you appreciate his dedication to the holiday, although you do wish you could just walk around the house without fearing for your life at hyper realistic decorations all around.

when you first arrived to the party, you told franky you were going to drop something off in the bedroom of brook. it was some prop he was asking for his performance coming up.

you were supposed to just drop it off in his bedroom. but why was it that after you turned around from brook's bedside table, there was a figure in a scary mask standing behind the door and staring right at you. you were about to scream before the figure suddenly fell ont he ground, showing that it was just a paper cut out.

"franky!! what the fuck!!" you shouted in frustration, stomping out of the room and going to give the man a piece of your mind.

but as you were walking out of the room, and into the hallway, a figure jumped out of one of the many open doors and scared the shit out of you. this time your fist shot out and nailed the masked figure in the face, making them fold over and hold their nose.

"c'mon [name]!! what the hell!!"

"no, franky, what the hell at yourself!!" you screeched, seeing the familiar face after he took off his mask. you fretted over his face, apologizing over and over again at him. "i'm so sorry, but - seriously what was that thing in brook's room!?"

"it's called a halloween decoration, asshole!" franky cursed, holding onto his nose.

"yeah, and i thought that someone was there to kill me! why'd you put shit in his room anyway?"

"to scare you, obviously!" franky said, allowing you to examine his face and wincing when you saw the damage that was done. "sorry for scaring you,"

you softened at his apology, lightly tugging on a strand of his hair and murmuring an "i'm sorry, too." he grinned at your apology, smiling ear to ear as he assured you he'd be fine.

"they were scary, i'll tell you that," you said, standing the both of you up and guiding him to the sink. but he shook his head, nursing his nose with his hand.

"you know how many time i've broken my nose, this is just a scratch. didn't even make my nose bleed," franky assured you, laughing as you realized that what he was saying was true. how many times franky has broken his nose when he'd been working was uncountable.

"yeah, let's just forget it happened then," you said, making franky hum in approval.

"oh! but don't tell zoro about that thing up there, i plan on scaring him too,"

you laughed, nodding your head and deciding that it would be funny to hear zoro scream out in fear.

— brook is another person that like robin, enjoys anything horror related. he hides around corners or in closests and waits to make someone his victim. and if it isn't anyone in your friend group, he will go around terrorizing the trick or treaters.

"boo!!!"

"ahhh!!!"

there was a scream that followed brook's and then a parent could be heard yelling at him. the rest of the strawhats all ran to the window to see what was happening and everyone winced when they saw a parent was easily chewing out brook for hiding in the bushes and scaring their poor child.

you sighed, running a hand through your hair and walking over to the front door to collect brook since everyone else was too busy laughing their asses off at his predicament.

"ma'am, i'm sorry for his behavior," you started, walking up to brook and taking ahold of him by his elbow, "i'll just bring him inside,"

"no! i'm not done yelling at him yet!"

"have a lovely night, ma'am," you said, turning away from her and taking brook inside to scold him yourself. you looked over your shoulder and saw the woman was disgruntled, but instead focused on comforting her scared to death child.

"what is up with you?! that was a kid who wasn't even 10 years old!"

"but-but!!" brook's laughter echoed in the home, making everyone else join in, "his face was so funny!!!"

you bit your lip, trying to keep a level head and be responsible instead of just joining in on the laughter. but when brook was beginning to mimic the kid's expression, you broke out laughing along with eveyone else.

"and his mom was so mad! and began scolding me like i was her own kid too!!"

"just quit scaring the shit out of kids!" you shouted, slapping him on the backside of his head - but your words didn't really get your point across because you were laughing as much as he was.

— jinbe doesn't really understand the hype of halloween, but he can see how enjoyable it is for everyone else. he doesn't rain down on anyone's parade, bearing through the scares that brook and franky get up to, while also being a reliable figure for usopp and chopper during the horror movie. let's just say by the end of the night, you and jinbe are all tired out as you were being the "baby sitters" of everyone for the whole day.

on the night of halloween, it was basically a big party and sleepover for everyone in the friend group. you and jinbe were working overtime basically to make sure everyone was alright. luffy could possibly be eating suspicious candy, but thank god jinbe knocked it out of his hand before then. you were on duty to be comforting usopp and chopper whenever a shadow passed over the window - even though it was just a tree branch swaying in the wind.

finally, the night was over (it was the early hours in the morning by the time everyone was tired) and you and jinbe were tiredly spread acorss the couch. the group had set up a fort on the floor with the couches surrounding them. they were all sleeping on the mats and blankets they set out for themselves, cuddling to their hearts' content.

jinbe sighed in content of finally being able to rest, putting on a calming nature show on the tv instead of the horror movies that we were all binging.

you laughed at his obvious exasperation and he just waved his hand to you dismissively, showing that he didn't care about showing just how tired he was.

"i can't believe sanji made the glaze tabasco sauce," jinbe said under his breath, making another rouse of laughter come from your mouth.

"did you hear zoro finally say anything besides belrrhh and uurgghh," you said, exaggerating the sounds zoro was making. jinbe covered his mouth to stop his laughter from waking everyone else up. "i mean, seriously if he wanted to just not talk to us, he could've just stayed home,"

jinbe smacked the couch cushion as a means of hiding his laughter, turning to you with tears in his eyes, "you know he enjoys arguing with you and sanji more than he'd admit, there's no way he would have missed out on this,"

you both broke out into loud laughter, making zoro turn over and throw a pillow at you in his sleep ridden state. he sleepily told you to shut up, making jinbe point a finger at his sleepy state.

"see! like i said, in his sleep he can't help it!!!!"

the strawhats are just the cutest ugh. happy halloween everyone 😻☝️school is my biggest opp rn so i ltr have noooo chances to write or upload but hipefully this weekend i can ‼️‼️‼️

I only write in the One Piece fandom - sfw and nsfw.

I'll do canon x gn reader, canon x canon, canon x oc (I'll need info about the oc to do this), canon x fem reader, canon x male reader and just canon.

With that said, I don’t write about following characters: Big Mom pirates (all of them), Beast pirates (Kaido and his pirate crew), Celestial Dragons, DonQuixote Pirates (I do write Doflamingo and Corazon though), Spandam, Vinsmoke family (Sanji not included in this), Blackbeard pirates and Five elders.

I do write ships, poly ships and bro ships.

With that said, I do not write romantic/sexual ships between blood related characters and ASL or romantic ships with Luffy, as I see him as asexual and aromantic.

I have the right to turn down a request and I don't always tell you if I do.

I expect you to be respectful and polite, so say please and thank you.

Don’t become impatient with me, as this is only a hobby and my free time is little.

My grammar still can improve, as can the flow of the sentences. Don’t be a dick about the flaws of either of them, but polite advice how to improve is always welcome.

I don’t write about yandere, sexual abuse, suicide, spiders and selfharm.

I only write NSFW for people off anon and who is 18+. If your age isn't on your blog, you can always drop it in my IM, it's safe with me. Mun is 30+.

You can always request a drabble/hc from me, no need to only use prompts or memes.
