Underrated Haikyuu Teams on a Road Trip

Tsubakihara: All of them, closeted or not, are swifties. They blast Taylor Swift most of ride and scream the lyrics. At some point, Maruyama and Teradomari start arguing about Star Wars or Star Trek being the better franchise, but nobody listens. Kakugawa: Everyone gets hungry 10 minutes into the drive, and Komaki, the one in the driver's seat, is screaming at Asamushi for spilling Miso Soup in his car, while also screaming at other drivers because his road rage is bad when he's stressed. Ohgiminami: Oyasu and Towada are arguing over shotgun when Towada obviously called it, Akimiya's stressing out because he's driving while trying to keep things from going to hell in his car, Tazawa and Moritake are brawling over the aux cord, Natsuse is ugly crying for some unknown reason, Yokote started some beef with a trucker in another lane and is trying to jump out of the window, and Karamatsu is holding him back. Shinzen: Ōtaki decides to drive because she knows good and well that they'd end up in a ditch if she didn't, Ogano spots Ubugawa out the window and is screaming at Gōra from across the road, Shimafu is trying to pull Ogano away from the window, Naguri is screaming at Kodama for no reason, Kodama is crying because he doesn't like being yelled at, Chigaya is calling his boyfriend, who's team is screaming to Taylor Swift, and Akatani and Yoshikawa are controlling the aux cord and playing the Arctic Monkey's Humbug album, which Naguri is also screaming about. Ubugawa: Gōra nearly rear-ends a car in front of them while screaming at Ogano from across the road, Miyanoshita is climbing over everyone to wave at Ōtaki, Yukawa and Nanasawa are playing Nicki Minaj on the aux, Nakagawa is trying to calm Gōra down from the back seat, Ashiya and Isehara are sharing snacks, and Sengoku is listening to calming music through his headphones and ignoring everyone. Wakutani: Matsushima, who just got his driver's liscense, has taken the wheel and is freaking out, Hanayama is being a backseat driver, Nakashima is trying to keep Kawatabi from playing shitty rap on the aux, Naruko is badgering Nakashima about stopping to eat, Shiroishi is getting car sick and about to vomit all over Hanayama's new clothes, and Akiu is sleeping through the yelling and reckless driving.

hey all welcome to me rating hq schools based on how homophobic they are on completely arbitrary-not-arbitrary rules LET’S GET IT

(i feel like i need to clarify that high score = not at all homophobic and that low score = disgustingly homophobic hope that helps!!)

karasuno: 1000000/100000 i’m including BOTH teams in this to represent the whole school boys’ vbc i don’t even think i have to cite reasons BUT girls’ vbc i just know that poor little underclassman had a heart attack when michimiya grabbed her face like that

seijoh: i’m going to take off a point right off the bat bc i wanted to deck oikawa so bad the first time i saw him. 9/10 the day is saved because kyoutani and yahaba put so much yearning into that one panel and also because kindaichi has multiple breakdowns over what kageyama means to him every few days or so. kunimi would commit gay-on-gay crime but i’ll allow that he has the right to

date tech: i know for a fact we’ve all been kogane at some point in our lives and also i’m pretty sure all the first and second years were in love with moniwa at some point. onagawa’s nickname is pantalones. aone hyper focuses on the aces of rival teams. having nametsu as a manager is mlmwlw solidarity. 4/10 i took points away because futakuchi is a little bitch and isn’t afraid to show it and would accidentally come across as homophobic in the process when he isn’t

shiratorizawa: see this is tough bc tendou reads all that shounen and semi is SO gender and probably holes himself up in the dorm writing song lyrics about having the biggest crush on tendou and also goshiki and shirabu are obviously pining for their upperclassmen but ushijima has some SERIOUS repression going on and washijou looks like he’d say that being gay is a disease BUT i do think he’s open to learning so like. 6.5/10?

johzenji: they have cute nicknames for each other AND i think they’d kiss the homies good night. also terushima fell in love with daichi within the span of fifteen seconds. 7/10 i took away points because they think saying “no homo” while holding hands stops it from being homo

kakugawa: komaki, asamushi, and minamida all rotate the brain cell between them. they all look like middle schoolers next to hyakuzawa to the point where i keep forgetting they’re not. komaki does the glasses push so i’m giving extra for that. 7.5/10 because when hyakuzawa comes out to them they freak out (out of concern and trying to figure out how to best handle it!) and then freak hyakuzawa out so everyone is just freaking out for a full five minutes

wakunan: nakashima and tabi deserved SO MUCH MORE also i love tabi’s hair so 11/10 the extra 1 is for their break down

nekoma: 1000000.5/10 mostly because i’m biased but hello???? we have DIVERSITY here we can go rivals to lovers AND childhood friends to lovers AND friends to lovers all in one team. nekomata is self-explanatory. the .5 is because i already mentioned before that lev would be such a top tier ally if he wasn’t already swooning over kenma and yaku

fukurodani: akaashi will go on tangents about how historians will say they were just best friends. whenever yukie and kaori cuddle in front of everyone konoha makes gagging noises bc of how sickeningly sweet they are. it’s funny but i’ll be taking points off for that and also because bokuto once got the school computers infected with a virus trying to google “two guys making out”. 2/10

shinzen & ubugawa: i’m putting them together bc daiki and masaki are in love and eri and mako are in love. they go on double dates all the time and also chigaya is a bro he gets trusted with all the secret “dude i think i’m _____” talks and never tells a single soul about them 100/100

itachiyama: iizuna is the mlm awakening at itachiyama. iizuna was SAKUSA’S awakening. komori and sakusa fight because they say can’t both be the gay cousin. whenever iizuna interrupts their bickering they call him homophobic. 9/10 i subtracted a point because their uniforms make me want to claw my eyes out

nohebi: we all know daishou had a thing for kuroo way back when so like. also have you seen hiroo’s hair? those bangs are emo as hell what even is that. 8/10 because they’ll be homophobic against other teams in the middle of the goddamn game to bait them and the only reason they haven’t lost MORE points for that is bc i love kuguri

inarizaki: -117478492/10 i’ll fight miya atsumu myself. i don’t think he’s homophobic he just pisses me off sometimes

kamomedai: they get 475828929392/??? just because i love them so much

mujinazaka: usuri instills fear and admiration in me. also unann and mami are basically an old divorced couple who want to get back together but don’t know how to. honda probably gets shit on a lot for having his whole entire name sounding like car dealerships. ezo is the only one with a brain cell and for that i’ll give 8.5/10

niiyama: maiko doesn’t even know there are labels for it she just thinks girls are pretty and she’d kill for them 500/10

tsubakihara: the headbands are really cute and i like their motto 100/100

Karasuno won their first match easily, well easy as the team didn't seem to put much effort in after seeing how good Karasuno is. Only in the second half of the second set did they start to get more serious but only after some guy with a unique hairstyle cheered them on. It probably was their old Captain, he gave you the same vibe as Daichi had, a person who knows how to get the best out of their team, in a way he was also similar to Oikawa but you better keep that to yourself, as Daichi still seems to have a feeling of jealousy towards the setter.

“Congrats on your win” you smiled handing a water bottle,” Wasn't much of a victory as they didn't put much of a fight” he shrugged before gulping down his drink, you meanwhile dabbed the towel over his neck to get rid of some sweat,” But the next team probably won't be that easy,” he said, you nodded and handed him the towel,” How are you feeling?” he asked,” Good, nervous about you guys” you smiled patting his chest,” No need to worry, we all are planning to win”,” So do the rest of the teams here,” you said,” But they don't have the pressure of wanting to brag to their son about going to nationals” he smiled stroking your face gently,” Keep it PG guys, we are in PUBLIC after all,” he said emphasising public,” It won't be happening again. I just got carried away,” you said rubbing the back of your head, remembering the day where Ukai caught you tackling Daichi onto the ground after he became jealous of Oikawa.” It better be... anyway we’re heading to the other gym to see who could be our next opponent”

“That’s a high schooler?” you gulped seeing the giant on the Kakugawa team,” His technique is sloppy though, he seemed to be on the team for his height,” Daichi said wrapping his around your shoulder,” Like Lev?”,” Lev has some type of technique even if just microscopic,” he said,” You think you can take him on?” you asked looking at Daichi,” Of course “ he was to kiss your temple when someone crashed between the two of you,” Don't worry Y/N, we will beat that titan like he was of cardboard. Call me Levi Ackerman as I will make him tremble with fear” Noya said while doing the scout salute making Hinata join him,” The two of you have the height already” you teased.

It was a tight race but the boys took home both sets, it was a rough start but your boys don't go down easily.” I’m so proud of you boys” you smiled hugging Noya who refused to let go of you and had to be pealed of you by the rest of the second years,” Sorry got carried away” he said with red cheeks,” It’s fine, I will be collecting the rest of the water bottles” you said,” I help you, I need to get my stuff anyway” Kiyoko said,” I keep your seat next to me” Daichi said picking up your guy’s stuff.

“So how is it going?” Kiyoko said grabbing a lunchbox which had Hinata’s sister's name stitched onto it,” Good, I’m surprised he didn't make sit with the audience”,” Don't give him an idea” Kiyoko joked as you grabbed the two leftover water bottle crates.” Well who we have here, two pretty ladies, all by themselves” two guys in orange said, the guy who said that had matching orange hair and wrapped his arm our Kiyoko while his friend wrapped his arm around you,” Sorry boys but we need to go” you said wiggling out of the guys embrace, the orange haired guys chuckled,” No problem but could you give us your number”,” I have a boyfriend” you said grabbing Kiyoko’s arm and trying to pull her away but the guy wasn't having it,” I don't see him, tell him he shouldn't leave his pretty girlfriend alone as weird people are every where” he said,” Weird like you?” he chuckled,” I like you, come on one of you give your number and I let you go”,” We’re not interested” Kiyoko said, the guy was about to open his mouth when Hinata jumped in between you,” You found my lunchbox, thank you, the other’s are waiting for you, mostly Daichi our Captain and your boyfriend” Hinata said pushing you and Kiyoko towards the exist,” Karasuno right?” the guy said grabbing Hinata by the back of the shirt,” We be playing you next. What a shame I hoped to be playing the giant but you do fine” he said before letting Hinata go and walking away,” Thank you Hinata” you and Kiyoko said making him blush.

“What took you so long?”Daichi asked as you sat down next to him,” Just some boys who can't take a hint” you shrugged before cuddling into his side,” Sorry if I smell bad” he said stroking your arm,” It’s fine, comforting in a way” you said pecking his jaw,” When is the next match?” you asked,” Late October” Suga said from behind,” Wow so nearly two whole months” you said making him nod,” You be an actual ballon by then, ready to pop any second” he laughed, you swung at him with a pout which just intensified his laughing,” Suga, cut it off if you want to continue living” Daichi warned, Suga didn't though which resulted in him to be able to sit properly for about a week.

“I’m literally a whale, I can't even hide it with your clothes” you pouted looking in the mirror,” Your pregnant babe and you're still smaller than most women,” Daichi said cupping the belly, tapping his fingers against it hoping to get a kick,” One day” he mumbled packing his bag with his gym equipment,” Dai, he’s nearly ready to be born if he doesn't give you a kick now, he probably won't,” you said sitting down in the bed,” Never say never” he kissed the tip of your nose,” Guys, it’s getting late, you better start heading now or the bus will leave without you,” Daichi’s dad said,” You know you can stay here, where it’s safe, like no flying ball crashing into your direction,” Daichi said,” I’m sticking with you, if you like it or not. I want to see my baby daddy beat all of those opposing teams. Mostly Johzenji High, as two of their team mates hit on me a while back” you shrugged,” They did what?” Daichi asked,” You know the guys I told you about who couldn't take no for an answer” Daichi nodded, he didn't say anything but from his facial expression you could see he was determined to win.

Like you determined Karasuno took the win against Johzenji, it wasn't easy as they were pretty unpredictable at times. Their Captain was the guy who didn't seem to understand the concept of no, seemed to be interested in Daichi in a way, like it felt he saw something Daichi which was familiar in a way but you didn't dwell on it as the next match on. Everything seemed well until Tanaka and Daichi collided with each other, you didn't think much of it at first but you got worried when Daichi didn't move for a while,” Daichi?” you called out but no response, Tanaka tapped his Captain's shoulder but also no response,” Daichi?” Takeda called out, a soft groan was heard from Daichi made you sigh in relief, you and Takada rushed towards him,” Daichi are you okay?” you asked worriedly,” Daichi, can you give me the date of today by year, month and day” Takeda asked,”25th of October 2012″ he said,” Do you know where we are?” you asked,” Miyagi Prefecture Spring Interhigh Qualifier” he said slowly getting up with the help of Tanaka and Asahi. Daichi's brows furrowed and he moved his hand towards his mouth catching the blood which was dripping from his mouth,” Oh gosh, Daichi” you mumbled handing him a tissue which he spat into showing a broken tooth,” I take him to nurse, just to make sure -”,” I’m fine” Daichi said cutting you off,” Please Daichi, don't be stubborn” you said making him sigh and nod.” Daichi?” Tanaka said, his fist was clenched and couldn't his Captains eye as Kiyoko handed you an ice pack to put on Daichi’s cheek,” I’m s-”,” I’m sorry, I saw you going for it but at least thanks to you we are in the 20s” Daichi said cutting him off, he patted him on the shoulder with a soft smile,” Asahi, I’m counting on you” Daichi said patting his friend's shoulder before he left for the nurse with you and Coach Ukai.

“ Everything seems fine but I recommend sitting out for the rest of the match just to make sure,” the nurse said removing her gloves, her glaze stopped at you, she looked you up and down, and there was a slight change of her expression but she didn't say anything. Which was a smart decision on her part,” Drink a lot of fluids, you can stay here and rest. I will tell you when you can leave” she said handing Daichi, orange juice.” I’m sorry Coach” Daichi mumbled,” There is nothing to apologise for kid. Your health always comes first” Ukai patted Daichi’s shoulder,” Don't want Orphan your kid” he joked making Daichi and you smile,” I need to make a call to your parents, sorry protocol. I leave you two alone, I can trust you y/n that he will stay here until the nurse gives him permission to leave right?” Ukai said pulling his phone out,” Of course” you smiled.

“You nearly gave me a heart attack,” you said slapping Daichi’s shoulder slightly,” Sorry” he mumbled taking a sip of his juice, he hissed slightly,” Juice got into my injury,” he said,” My poor baby,” you said, gently kissing his injured cheek,” Can you do it again?” you asked softly,” You smiled and gently pressed your lips against his cheek,” Thanks, now if you give me a kick son I will feel better instantly,” he said against your belly but no answer was given,” Maybe you should talk like Bokuto” you jokingly said making Daichi playfully glare at you,” I hope the team does well without me” he mumbled,” They will win, no need to worry Dai, just relax,” you said gently pushing him onto the bed,” You be here all the time?” he asked,” All the time” you smiled as Daichi closed his eyes and let sleep take over him

Was scrolling through my liked posts for some BroccoliFish that i liked before and I found a wakutani incorrect quote. Then I looked in the tags and one of them was "Incorrect Wakutani Quotes" or smth and I was like "WOW DOES THAT ACTUALLY EXIST??"

It doesn't.

I was welcomed by complete and utter disappointment upon clicking that tag

so i only suggested it as a joke but like. here's the fucking list of token cishet haikyuu characters per team i guess let's go!!

karasuno: oh dear oh fuck. okay look i love daisuga and kurodai as much as the next person but solid reliable daichi?? daichi who is like the epitome of big man on campus?? who at first glance looks like he doesn't even know what there is beyond gay?? and yeah he doesn't really understand sometimes, but all he knows is that he loves his team and he wants them to be happy!! so he does his best!!

nekoma: y'all already know but. lev LMFAAO. like it truly can't be anyone else he's sixteen, he's got no shame, he's got a cool older sister who teaches him that, no, the pad does NOT stick to the body and yes you need a top coat to have good nails . . . lev is just so honest and straightforward and simple-minded in the BEST way possible i love him

seijoh: kindaichi for very very similar reasons to daichi but like. on the OPPOSITE end of the spectrum. like. he's a bit of an asshole! he gives off classic american high school bigoted jock vibes!! he looks like he'd shove your head down the toilet and trip you in the hallway! but he's actually quite kind and thoughtful and even tho he's never been in a fight in his LIFE he WOULD get into one for seijoh!!

fukurodani: komi haruki!! komi haruki!! komi fuckin haruki!!! like whatever people say about bokuto being the only himbo on fukurodani is SO fucking untrue komi haruki has the muscle to just straight up DECK anyone being an absolute asshole and will take you out for coffee after!!

shiratorizawa: not that i intend on making a pattern with the liberos but like. i do indeed think it would be yamagata LMFAAAO. because like, if we do process of elimination . . . it's NOT goshiki, it's NOT shirabu or kawanishi, it's NOT ushijima, tendou, semi, or reon . . . yamagata takes it!!

dateko: fukiage jingo. he's long-suffering bc he has to deal with kogasaku being absolute idiots about whatever it is they have going on but those are his friends and he loves them very much!!

johzenji: higashi. he's still more respectful than terushima and bobata ever were.

kakugawa: minamida. he always knows what to say and he learns REALLY easily.

nohebi: numai. he's good i can tell.

inarizaki: wouldn't you know it!! it's the libero again!! akagi michinari coming in hot with the "shut your mouth or i'll do it for you!!" and he's smiling like a total angel while he says it!!

itachiyama: iizuna. sakusa and komori rely on him for more than they intend to, but he doesn't mind.

mujinazaki: ezo. he's soooo fuckin tired man. he loves the team and he'll do anything for them, ESPECIALLY against an asshole, but dear god do they drive him nuts

Preliminaries for Interhigh in Miyagi commenced today and Karasuno vowed to blast through and win them all.

“I’m sorry that you have to cheer from above, Hitoka-chan, [Name]-chan,” Shimizu apologized in advance because while she could watch the game on the bench, the two of you could only watch them quite far away. It couldn’t be helped, only one manager was allowed to be on the bench during the game.

“It’s alright, Kiyoko-senpai,” you replied with determination. “In fact, leave the cheering to us! Right, Hitoka-chan?”

“That’s right!” Yachi nodded in agreement.

“Then, we’re counting on you two.” Shimizu smiled at both of your eagerness. While Shimizu called you by your given name, you decided to ask her if it’s okay to call her also by her given name–she instantly agreed, seemed extremely happy even. Since then, you started calling her by her given name still with a suffix.

“H-Hinata, are you okay?” Yachi asked in worry because the said orange-haired boy was holding his stomach and trembling.

“Do you still feel sick?” you also questioned, immediately kneeling and rummaging through your back for medicine. Which made you aware of another trembling figure sitting on the ground. “Y-Yamaguchi-kun, are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” Hinata replied. “I threw up on the way here, so I feel better.”

“Of course you’d feel sick after eating all those katsudon for breakfast.” Tsukishima snickered.

“It’s normal to eat katsudon on game days!” Hinata defended himself.

“And by ‘normal’, you mean…” Tsukishima deadpanned.

“You dumbass! Hinata, you stupid dumbass!” as if adding more salt to the wound, Kageyama was there to yell at him–making you almost burst out laughing from the limited insult he had in his vocabulary.

“I-I feel like I’m going to puke too, after remembering Hinata puking…” Yamaguchi pressed a hand upon his mouth, speaking in a very low voice which you almost missed. Both you and Tsukishima immediately snapped your head to face him.

“Huh?” Tsukishima replied in disbelief. “Go to bathroom, already!”

“H-Here’s a plastic bag you could use!” you yelped thrusting the item into his palm. “There’s also a medicine if you want! Don’t hold it, Yamaguchi-kun!”

“I thought you were busy concentrating but you were actually trying not to puke!?” you could hear Sugawara exclaimed and now you could confirm that Azumane was somehow in a similar state as Yamaguchi.

“Do you need medicine, senpai?” you’re instantly kneeling on his side with yet another plastic bag (just for caution), a bottle of warm water, and a small package of medicine. “I also have warm water you could drink!”

“T-thanks, [Name]-chan,” Azumane whispered. “You’re a life-saver.”

Even before the game, your team was in shambles.

Your first game would be against Ohgi Minami High School–you made sure to keep in track of the games and read the whole pamphlet to know about the teams who could be your opponents in the future. The warm-ups were smooth until it was time for the game–the first official game of Karasuno.

“The spring tournament… Karasuno’s battle is about to start…!” You could hear Yachi muttered from right beside you–upon the wall, hung the pure black banner for the team. Just like her, the nerves were getting into you the moment all of them assembled to hear a little bit of advice from Coach Ukai and encouraging speech from Takeda-sensei.

“Oh, so you watch the game too, Ukai-sensei?” the older man beside you questioned, both of you looked to the side and you instantly recognized older man who helped Hinata nailing his control.

“Yeah.”

“Good morning,” you greeted, bowing down which Yachi hastily copied.

“Oh, so you’re the manager,” Coach Ukai also recognized you and didn’t think twice to reply. Although he looked extremely strict (and he does on the court that is), but he’s not an entirely stiff person. And from his history, you put an absolute respect for him.

“Ukai? Grandson?” Yachi tilted her head in confusion.

“He’s the former Coach Ukai,” you explained. “He’s the famous coach who brought Karasuno to nationals and also the current Coach Ukai’s grandfather. The Little Giant was in his team.”

“Hee!?” Yachi yelped.

“[Name]-nee-chan!”

“Yuu-chan! You’re here to watch, too?” Ogasawara Yuu was the little kid who’s watching Hinata and Kageyama practice the day before and before you knew it, the two of you became friends. He didn’t hesitate to ask you questions and you found yourself enjoyed in indulging his curiosity.

“Yeah! Nee-chan, you’re from Karasuno, too, right? What are you doing up here?”

“T-There’s only one manager allowed on the bench. You didn’t know that?” Yachi argued.

“That’s why I’m here too,” you added, pointing to yourself.

“Ooh.”

The game itself was a sight to see–everyone’s moves were full with confidence, they had a full control of their decisions and movements. For example, your captain was waiting for the opponent to do the feint and managed to received it cleanly.

“S-so fast! It’s like he was waiting for it!” Yachi commented.

“It’s because they have been practicing with powerhouse schools with different kinds of power in serves and spikes. The diversity of their opponents from the training and their defenses and high level of it, the team is already used to it.” You pointed out, which made your friend gasped in awe.

As the game continued, you were immersed with the thrill of it. Kageyama successfully pulled off another service ace. Yachi was bouncing giddily from it.

“Nice serve, Kageyama-kun!” you called out. He turned to glance at you and gave you a fist.

“Another service ace!” Yachi cheered.

“Now we’re on set point,” You added, looking at the score board.

The match was going on smoothly for Karasuno, sure there was a little bump but that’s because you felt Ohgi Minami didn’t really give it their all after knowing they would lose–sometimes, people who witnessed someone who’s more skilled than them felt a tug of helplessness. However, not doing your best isn’t acceptable.

Thankfully, they seemed to change and blasted through after their former captain pulled up a speech. Even though they still loss, you knew it would make them even stronger. The frustration would linger and push them into working hard to win.

That’s that and now, you didn’t even have a chance to bask in your victory because another threat was looming.

You peeked over Kageyama’s shoulder, your own shoulder trembled slightly–you didn’t even need to look to know how Hinata and Yachi were both terrified out of their wits from the sight. While waiting for the results, your team watched the on-going match and at the same time witnessing something downright terrifying.

Kakugawa’s #9 basically pushed the ball over the block with ease and it almost send you into an early cardiac arrest. Hinata and Yachi squeaked in fright.

“That’s creepy!” Tanaka commented, words muffled from how he munched on a banana.

“It’s a weapon…” Azumane muttered in disbelief. “His height is a weapon…”

“I think I’m the one who needs the medicine now,” you whispered, feeling your heart threatened to jump out from your throat.

“It’s just height,” Kageyama said, peeling on a banana.

“It’s almost astronomical on how you’re still calm after watching that,” you sighed.

“I guess we know who we’re playing next,” He then continued, chewing on his food. After the match was over, the team had slight break and decided to study the charts. Your next opponent would be Kakugawa High School, who has an absurdly tall member who messes with your depth of perception.

Yachi squeaked in fright when the said tall member walked pass by–clearly towering over everyone with his two meters height.

“T-two meters is super huge,” Hinata stuttered, shoulders trembling.

“201 centimeters and 162 centimeters, huh…” Yamaguchi muttered, looking at the orange-haired boy.

“I’m 163 if you round it up-!” Hinata argued.

“201 centimeters and 162 centimeters, there’s a 40 centimeters difference.” Tsukishima cut him off.

“Listen!”

“F-forty centimeters is the same size as Ketty-chan,” Yachi tried to cheer him up. “It’s not that big.”

“Is that an attempt to cheer him up?” Tsukishima commented.

“It sure is.” You confirmed, smiling nervously.

“Tekachu is also 40 centimeters,” Yamaguchi added.

“So is a Fujikujira,” Tsukishima followed, which made all of you confused.

“F-Fujikujira?” you questioned. “What’s that?”

“It’s a kind of shark.”

“You’re smart, Tsukki!” Yamaguchi praised.

Hinata sluggishly walked–face pale and filled with resignation. “I…want to combine with that shark… If I combined with a Fujikujira, I’d be two meters tall…”

“Hey, what are you talking about?” Kageyama was thoroughly confused with his antics. He rose an eyebrow. “Are you really scared?”

It made Yachi worried but Shimizu was quick to reassure her that it would be fine, half of it was directed to you too. You tried your best not to worry–he sure has height, but Karasuno had strategies. Everything should be alright.
