You held your legs to your chest, letting your head rest on your knees. You had your back upon a large tree, the bark scratching your soft skin. Usually, you would hiss from the pain but you were too tired to care, the pain in your back couldn’t compare to how much your heart was hurting. The bright sun that would normally gleam down on your skin and warm your soul was nowhere in sight. Instead, a murky gray cloud took the sun's place. Your body shivered and you held yourself closer to bring back the warmth you would usually feel. “Oh, Eywa..” You whispered under your breath, fingers digging into the skin of your calves. “Why have you burdened me with such strong emotions?” You close your eyes, in hopes of drifting off to sleep. Hoping that when you wake up, you’re back home, swaying back and forth in your snonivi. Neteyam laying down right next to you, sleeping peacefully and everything that you heard not too long ago was a lie. That Neteyam and his family weren’t leaving for good. But when you opened your eyes you were still in the same spot with the same feeling that weighed heavily on your heart. This time though, Neteyam was standing right beside you. His expression is unreadable but you know well enough he’s feeling the same way you are. Upset and everything above else, sad. He lowered himself down and sat next to you. Your ears cast downwards as your tail wrapped around you protectively, the end of your tail brushing your ankle. You never liked people seeing you so vulnerable and so little, even Neteyam who’s been at your side ever since you were little.

“I’m sorry.” That was the first thing he said. You didn’t respond. He had nothing to apologize for, it wasn’t his fault that they were moving to a whole other place, a place far far away from here. When you were younger, you couldn't imagine a life without Neteyam stuck to your hip, it was mentally impossible to think of something like that. You hoped and prayed to Eywa that you and Neteyam would never be driven apart, that you and him will stick together through thick and thin. Maybe you didn’t truly put your heart into it because here you are, looking at him for what could be the last time ever. Your worst fear came true. You were in so much despair, you have never felt so worthless and fearful before. “You don’t have to apologize, Neteyam.” You spoke up, voice so small and feeble. “It isn’t your fault.” You watched how Neteyam threw his head back against the tree, a loud devastating sigh escaping his mouth. He then looked over to you and frowned, ears drooping down a bit. “When you look at me like that, it feels like I have done something to hurt you.” He says, fingertips gently brushing against the petals of a flower. “You have done nothing.” Your eyes glisten with tears and you rapidly blink your eyes. The last thing you would want to do is cry in front of Neteyam.

“Do you remember how we met?” Neteyam suddenly asks, tail swaying playfully at the mention of fond memory. “Yeah, I was climbing one of the trees when I slipped and fell on you.” You remember the way you gasped when you realized you fell on top of someone and not on something. You were screeching out apologies while you helped Neteyam up. “You broke my hand.” He laughed, looking at his left hand, the hand you broke by accident. “I wasn’t able to use my bow for a while.” He said. “I remember being more upset over that than you.” You felt so bad for breaking Neteyam’s hand that every day you would visit him, checking up on how he was doing and how well his hand was healing up. Neteyam always told you that you didn’t have to come every day but the frequent checkups became more of an excuse to see him. He caught onto it when his hand was fully healed and you still came over to see him. Ever since then, you and him were inseparable.

“I’m going to miss you.” You uncurled your legs from your chest and scooted closer to Neteyam, letting your head rest on his broad shoulder. “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you by my side.” You admit. Neteyam has become such a significant person in your life that a day without him ruins your mood instantly. How will you manage without seeing him at all after this? “You’ll await my return.” He grabs your hand and holds it, his body turning so he could fully face you. “Wait for me.” He whispered, hands moving to cup your face. His thumb caressing the apples of your cheeks, eyes looking at you so softly you swear you could melt right then and there. “If you promise to come back to me, I’ll be right here, waiting for you.”

Neteyam smiled and pulled you in for a hug. You didn’t know how much you needed a hug until now. His arms wrapped around your torso, pulling you in closer to his chest. You let yourself relish the moment, your head burying into his neck as you allowed yourself to silently cry. You were going to miss him so much, miss his hugs, his smile, his laugh. Everything. There wouldn't be a day that goes by where you won’t be missing him. He separated from the hug and sorrowfully smiled at you, tears of his own escaping his beautiful eyes. He held your face in his hands and you leaned into the touch. “I see you.” He kissed the tears that were on your cheeks. “I see you.”

“Neteyam!” His ears perked up, a defeated sigh left him. His mother was calling out for him. He pressed his lips against your forehead and cheek. “Wait for me, please.” With one last hug, you and him said your final goodbyes and separated.

You did what he told you to do and waited for his return. But he never did return and you were left waiting for someone who was never going to come back.

since i've spent the past few days essentially staring at nothing but natsuyuu volume covers i thought it'd be so fun and silly to try and redraw them all from memory tee hee. all 30 (thirty) (三十) of them!!! wheee!!!!

i haven't actually looked at them next to the originals yet so guess what time it is!!!! LET'S COMPARE

starting with volume 1. iconic. show stopping. masterpiece. the mona lisa of natsuyuu SURELY i reproduced every single detail perfectly such that it kickstarts my career as a forgery artist RIGHT

i remembered the like white v-neck shirt thing and his pose kind of??? i had NO idea what to do for the yukata tho i just made it orange and u know what?? close enough. my rule of thumb is just like pick a color and then throw flowers all over it u cant go wrong

taki looks so much more mysterious on the original and also wearing a skirt. i gave her a big stick bc i thought i remembered her having one in general but i think i made that up tbh wouldn't put it past me. got her hat right tho hee haw

as i was toying w the idea of doing this redraw thing i was still working on collecting my Images and Pictures so i kinda started taking note of a few small things here & there and one of them was just. the general gist of this cover SO LIKE that's why it's so good LOL

forgor the flowers tho. i literally forget everything that isn't a character like immediately BUT OK CUT ME SOME SLACK like after a point the covers start being whole ass scenes which are SO much easier to remember shit abt than the fuckin Green Void (p sure this is the last green void cover tho)

8/10 composition is gr8 but details like the shirt & the yellow flowers are wrong, also the stick is backwards. i literally looked up what that thing is called and forgot already tee hee

OK WE'RE NOT DONE W THE GREEN VOID I REPEAT-

fuck dude. fuck. i rly thought vol 6 was the last one LOL not to spoil but as i was grabbing these images i saw a Preview of what's to come and the green void lasts until fuckign volume TEN LOL collapses onto the ground and dies

so erhermrm this is vol 7 lolllll i remembered the bg flowers this time can u believe hahaha distracts u from the fact that LITERALLY everything else is wrong auhghg

u know what the green void turned into bushes and i think that's beautiful.... like points for creativity on my part tbh. like to be completely honest. 3/10 i got the characters right

i remembered the BARE essentials of the composition but not much else... since i thought the green void was gone i put the green i remembered into natsume's yukata (and then put him in the school uniform again LOL) and went WELP. GUESS I'LL DIE NOW

OK THIS ONE.... i almost died irl trying to remember this shit, even before i started and i was still viewing the covers i was like there is no way in HELL im remembering this shit for vol 10. and i was right

like. Purple. White Mask. Antlers. WILD layered clothing. at first i drew the mask as an actual deer skull but later had a straight up epiphany and redrew it like that which... still not correct but I MEAN.... IT'S PRETTY GOOD

i cant believe most of the purple is the bg oughgh his clothes are WHITE..... this is fucked up. i DID remember the stick tho, bells and everything!! actually bells and nothing else!!!

TOP 10 Talay Outfits explained:

10. Zebra Boy a stylish and flowy zebra print shirt with basic white slacks and talay’s signature white bag. this one is so silly but cool i had to include it. i actually am obsessed with both of the white & black print shirts tess owns but the other one is mostly worn my ohm in the series so i didn’t inlude it here (ep 2 when tess/talay goes to pester tun at the café). also i just like this scene a lot and couldn’t get over the “secret lover” -line.

9. Reunion Blues a simple navy blue dress shirt and light colored pants plus talay’s round glasses. listen: am not a big fan of talay’s clothes in his own universe even if he looks adorable in them, but this one! this one is a legend. straight up iconic. he looks so pretty in dark blue and then we have this whole scene and ugh. just pure insanity.

8. Goodbyes taste bitter an orange and white striped shirt and black jeans. am so obsessed with the v-neck of this shirt, it’s crazy. i don’t blame puen at all for instantly going like, “oh yes, that’s my bf now” bc honestly? very understandable. talay just looks so good in this shirt, holy hell. continues on the road of, “why must you dress up so nicely when the occasion is breaking my heart?” i guess these two are similar like that.

7. Let us kiss again a red-blue-white striped sweater with red pants. i love this color combo on talay so much. blue and red just suit him. the shirt is also tight fitting and it’s amusing to see puen Struggling bc of it. man is not able to keep his hands off. it’s very understandable but pls sir, calm down. you’ve known each other like two weeks. and you still haven’t even told talay that you’re not kissing him just bc but bc you’re head over heels in love with him. get a grip.

6. First Kiss a simple white sweatshirt and red/fucsia pants. i don’t want to say this but i have to say this: talay’s ass looks amazing in these pants. like, am not one to stare but oh boy. it’s right there! stealing the show! and then it’s combined with talay’s sexy wet hair after running through the rain to look for his long lost lover friend who he wants to make up with. Literally. bc they’re kissing by the end of this. and i scream.

5. The Green Sweater a yellow-green sweater combined with white pants. talay looks adorable in this with his guitar and the sweater paws. am not at all surprised that puen looks close to tears bc bitch, me too. it’s just So Soft and then it’s mixed with the guitar (+ the lotus flower) and talay singing a love song and. i want to hug him so bad, puen get out of the way it’s my turn now.

4. The Wedding Suit a light pink colored suit, apparently without a shirt underneath. this whole thing began with this suit. as i said, this one is 100% outshining the one puen wears in this scene. i am just in love with this suit; the color, the simplicity, the cut, the way talay wears it so casually. he looks amazing and positively ethereal. puen is marrying him on the spot. talay is thinking it’s a joke but i might just tell him it’s not. get a ring and be done with it, would you. this might sound controversial after me saying puen is rushing things with the kisses but i don’t actually have anything against it.

3. Loneliness is yellow a simple black sweatshirt with bright yellow pants. i feel like the more heartbreaking the scenes get, the better talay gets dressed. he’s always serving looks when am crying on my floor. i don’t mind tho bc why not have several mental breakdowns at the same time, saves me the time. he looks absolutely glorious in that black shirt, and the colored pants are a wonderful touch. if tess got nothing else, at least he's had the sense to buy all these clothes.

2. The Gray Jacket a textured gray jacket with a black shirt and white pants. the texture on this jacket makes me go wild bc it looks so nice to touch and the whole jacket looks so cozy. am wondering how talay can wear that with the heat but that’s fortunately something that doesn’t get to me through my screen. he looks very huggable once again. he looks positively radiant when he smiles. and it’s just a plus that puen looks so gone for him bc yeah, valid. am in love with this sunshine boy too.

1. Second chance a gray sweater with red details, combined with red pants. honestly talay’s best outfit in this whole show hands down. every time i start this ep, i am just blown away by this outfit. the styling team was going crazy that day. the shirt has a v-neck, the red details work so well, it fits talay nicely, the rolled sleeves, the delicate bag. the pants are tight fitting and make his legs look extra long and slim. especially in that billiard room lighting he just looks insanely pretty. i want to yell into the void. the void might yell back at me.

Bonus: Striped Bathrobe a black and white striped robe, worn mostly for breakfast. i am not really sure what to call this but a bathrobe felt like the closest fitting one so i went with it. it’s crazy how this is literally the second outfit puen ever sees talay in if we don’t count talay being half naked. he got absolutely bewitched and talay is not even bothered. this striped robe is what truly mattered. and please let’s not talk about ai’dang.

A real cohesive blog post? Y’all should be so lucky.

Today is Election Day! I’m kinda sad that it’s here because I find politics to be really easy to talk about especially when I have literally nothing else to say. It always fills time and I can pretend to care fairly successfully. I guess I’m going to have to switch gears to talk about how they feel about who gets elected. Things are TENSE tho. Panama has this really cool thing where there’s a dry law between May 4th-5th. It’s illegal to sell or consume alcohol around the election. A very progressive idea and I’m here for it.

Standfast phase is the Peace Corps period of travel restrictions around times of ~uncertainty~ Unfortunately? Fortunately? I am spending stand fast in Panamá city because the foot rash has spread to my face!!!! My feet look so much better and it never got infected which is lovely. But now it’s all over my lips. I was dumbfounded when i woke up with it yesterday. But then i remembered that on Friday i was teaching Millie how to whistle with blades of grass and maybe until I get this skin thing figured out I should refrain from putting plants in my mouth…

So the Peace Corps made me come into the city yesterday because they didn’t want me waiting until Monday when it could get worse, and traveling today would have been impossible.

Things are tense with election in the air. People standing up one by one on public transport declaring who they’re voting for and why. Most businesses are closed today so it’s eerily quiet, I kinda hate it.

So yes, until the 7th or 8th I’m staying in a Holiday Inn at the Panama Canal. It’s insane because yesterday I woke up in the jungle with a bug net and no electricity and now I’m watching the Hunger Games (Juegos del Hambre) in a hotel room. This is what I mean about emotional whiplash, nothing is consistent ever.

I feel cheap, like I’m not cut out to be at site. Especially for such an extended period of time at a hotel. I’m beating myself up for enjoying the electricity, AC, and shower. Trying to remind myself that it’s not a crime to say that I enjoy the break. I just wish when I left site it was because I wanted to/to go do something that I want to do. Not because I’m being told I have to. The alternative is the stomach issues that are holding other volunteers hostage in the latrines. Would you rather have blisters on your lips or puking into a Latrine? Grass is always greener.

My mom here sucks! It’s only three months and she’s not outright hostile. She just kinda sucks. I miss Sughedys so much, I can’t wait to visit Los Mortales and see them. Really just wanted a hug yesterday but not from anybody in my town. Every house I pasear to, I’m like damn…wish i lived here, y’all are way cooler than my mom.

Millie is great though! We’re figuring each other out and she does feel like my sister. We’re the only people that we really hang out with day in and day out and we drive each other insane. We get in arguments or tell each other no and then an hour or so later we’re eating oranges in a tree.

Using my few days in the land of power to download as many books to my kindle as possible (thank you Hannah and Dana 😘). Walked along the canal today near the Miraflores Locks (there are so many flowers to see, aptly named).

Highlights at site:

I really don’t mind the no electricity.

I like how dark it is when the sun sets and there are just hundreds of fireflies.

I spend 10-12 hours a day outside, usually in a hammock or barefoot.

My “bare minimum” for expectations in life if drastically shifting lower and lower.

I’m devouring books like the world is ending.

Canon era

This isn't original but he has a cat who's the ugliest thing ever but he loves it so much

Big family, lots of siblings, raised by a single dad in over his head (this might be canon)

Almost completely illiterate. He learned the alphabet and that's about as far as he's been able to get. Buttons reads the headline to him every day and has tried to teach him but not much has actually stuck

Buttons is his best friend fs

He's definitely close with Spot Conlon. Someone told me that they think they're half brothers and I can't figure out if I like that or if I think they're a teeny bit in love. I think it depends on the context.

Elmer is Elmer in Manhattan but sometimes he sells in Brooklyn and he's Graves. The only one who knows he's both of these people is Race, who finds it extremely funny whenever someone else says something about Graves in Manhattan or Elmer in Brooklyn

First generation Polish American who's fluent in the Polish language. Because of this, he's good friends with Davey (a Polish immigrant) and he asks him about the country a lot. They both find it pretty refreshing to be able to speak the language and talk about Poland with someone they aren't related to.

Raised in a very religious setting, but once he started selling papers he used it as an excuse to escape the church (religious trauma)

Hides his feelings. If he has to cry he holds it in until night. He usually spends those nights on the street so his siblings don't hear and no body in the lodging house asks

He's on the younger side of the newsies. Either the youngest of the oldest or the oldest of the youngest

He's trying to provide for his family but he's often largely unsuccessful. Not because he's bad at selling or anything, but because a dime doesn't go as far with 9 people to feed

Modern Era

A lot of the canon era stuff carries over (the ugly cat, big family, Buttons, religious trauma, hiding his feelings...)

He really likes Spiderman. Like a lot.

His family isn't the most accepting in terms of his queerness but they could definitely be worse. They kind of just don't acknowledge it most of the time.

He likes to paint his nails. Or rather get his nails painted. Usually Buttons or Jojo does it, but the first time someone painted his nails it was his older sister before she moved out. His favorite color to do is pink but it's more often black so nobody makes a comment because he doesn't want to deal with it

He's one of those fluffy hair boys for sure

He likes experimenting with makeup, nothing too dramatic, but some shiny eyeshadow, some eyeliner (he hasn't been able to do a wing yet) a little bit of lip gloss.. He really likes blush tho, he wears it as often as he can

His sister got him a skirt as a joke and he's only ever put it on once to try. He doesn't love it and he's never worn it after that, but if he's going to a party he might consider it and not go through with it

Despite what literally everyone thinks, man can hold his liquor

He has glasses

He likes chunky jewelry. He has two piercings in each ear that he usually wears black studs and small black hoops in. He wants to get more piercings when he can, but that's it for now

Steals Specs's glasses more often than anyone realizes

He has a little sister but hasn't seen her since he ran away

He didn't really mean to run away, but he got into an argument with his parents one night and he stormed out. He got caught up in something and wound up in the Refuge for 6 months. After he got out, he couldn't bring himself to go back. He had just spent half a year getting tortured and degraded and if he went home and his parents were still mad (especially now that he had gotten arrested and disappeared for so long) he wouldn't have been able to handle it. So he never tried

He's actually really good at gambling. Like really good. Most of the time he's not even trying. It drives Race insane

He's close friends with Albert and he might have some more than platonic feelings about him, but he's not entirely sure because he has the same feelings about other people (Crutchie) so it might just be good friend feelings (is it tho?)

He lovesss some good word play

He won't often go out and make trouble himself, but he definitely follows people into trouble a lot

Modern Era

Again, some of this carries over (stealing Specs's glasses, confusing feelings about his friends, word play, following people into trouble...)

He's really close with his sister. She's several years younger than him, but she's his whole world

His parents are divorced and he lives with his dad most of the time, but his mom is still very present in his life

He doesn't do anything to his hair. Like he doesn't even brush it most of the time. Just shampoo and conditioner. It makes Race so pissed that his curls aren't all over the place

He doesn't excel in school but he's a straight B student (with the occasional C in math)

He doesn't play hockey, but he does watch it when it's on TV

He knows how to braid, mostly because of his sister. Not just normal braids either, several types of braids. Fishtail, Dutch, French, bubble, all of the above

He's kind of quiet in class, but not so much when he's with his friends

Not a whole lot really bothers him. He's the guy all his friends come to when they're upset

Episodes 1 + 2:

Man this shits super boring.

Idk if I can get behind craggers plot line tbh. He’s too much of a dumbass for me to really root for him.

The lore seems really cool so far. I like the settings and the stuff about the legend beasts.

Like?? Forest full of trees that just fall down all the time? Epic.

Legend beasts are especially cool cuz it means this is how Chima characters react when seeing a regular ass lion for the first time:

Episode 3:

Man Laval really fucked everything up.

I have a feeling all of cragger’s dumbass-ness, like, transferred over to laval and now we’re gonna be seeing him making all the dumbass decisions

The only thing I really care about here is the b-plot about Gorzan and his flower. More engaging than the main plot

Episode 4:

Prediction about Laval replacing Cragger as the resident dumbass seems to be coming true

Gorzan is quickly becoming my favorite.

Oh hey look it’s the beavers!! I remember they show up in that one episode of ninjago. I had zero context for what they were all about then but now I know!!

Episode 5:

The gorilla tribe seems like the most chill out of everyone. Gorillas 👍

Can I just say I hate the fucking skunk. He sucks.

That’s where Tubi says season 1 ends, so i think I’ll just stop here for now. I guess they’ll bring up craggers parents next season?? For now they’re still stuck chilling in that canyon.

I definitely feel like it’s a show that doesn’t have super strong characters. I think it would better if the show leaned more into the world it’s created instead, if that makes sense. Maybe later the character writing will improve a little bit, and I’ll changed my tune. But!! Who knows. I’m having fun with it.

Idk when I’ll get to season 2, cuz I get super busy sometimes (I started this one a couple months ago but couldn’t finish it till now ugh) but I do want to continue watching!! Eventually!!!

“i was on my way”: set out to do something sweet for partner, to enjoy together

“hide away”: escape reality together for a while

“the heath”: piece of land, meadow

find a spot of peace and calm in nature. how bucolic of him

But I got over it and I said "Give me something old and red" I pay for it more than I did back then

SYNTHESIS

Alright, so. Before I go any further, I’m just going to state that I do not think Harry has an alcohol problem. He’s said on multiple occasions that he doesn’t drink while working, and his overall stance on it makes it pretty clear that he has it under control. This, to me, is another episode of your love is so addictive I can only compare it to substance abuse.

That said, this also isn’t the first time alcohol has been mentioned in Harry’s oeuvre. (I included the ones where he’s drinking, otherwise you can also look at Carolina or Kiwi.)

Yes, he likes a drink. At times, he also drinks to cope with difficult situations. Heartbreak, identity crises, loneliness, or as a distraction. It lets that tied tongue of his loose. He also drinks to just have a good time. Partying, letting go. This, however, is one of those songs, to me, that’s about a very mundane slice of life. He got a bottle of red and decided to drink it in the garden, basking in the sun, thinking about the love of his life. The one who’s always there, the one he can’t get through life without. The allusion to alcoholism, though, to him being dependent on wine to get through life, is a smokescreen for his true addiction: his lover. The one he’s needy as fuck for, the one he craves attention from at all times, the actual source of life he’s dependent on. I feel like this scene is one where the lover isn’t home, so he’s left to his own devices, and it’s simply a happier, harmless version of “Harry, you’re no good alone.” He’s drinking a couple of glasses of that bottle, which is encouraging him to think about their relationship and where they’ve been in their lives, and he’s having a good time. “So don’t overthink,” he’s telling himself - stop fretting, it’s all good. He’ll have a hangover, but that’s part of it. Good thing he has that love thing going on to soften the blow. (Which, again, can be seen as a metaphor for when things get rocky in a steady relationship like theirs, it blows over eventually. Things get healthy again. Just gotta be patient and power through that nasty headache.)

I also love that the song contains playful elements of the wine in question, and that it flirts sonically as well as lyrically with how someone might sound after a few glasses of that nice 1982. He’s a messy drunk, who’s not 18 anymore, so his grape juice blues hit a little harder, and his hangovers are a little worse than they used to be.

The bottom line is: let’s share this bottle like we share this life. Because if I do it alone, I’m suffering.

Rating the ADA member's hairstyles #2

Edogawa Ranpo: 6/10

With virtually no difference between manga and anime, I feel Ranpo's hair is exactly that: nothing exciting, new or controversial. One one side, it truly does fit the sloppy cheeky schoolboy aesthetic he presumably is trying to achieve, it also does complement his epic deduction scenes due to the dramatic undertone all flowy longer hair inherently has.

On the other side, his hair is literally whatever. It's neither artistic (Dazai), random as hell (Atsushi) or a clearly defined style (Yosano). It's just hair, very probably unkempt and possibly sugar-sticky as well. The only reason he is above entirely neutral is that it really does look adorable in his more comedic scenes. Sentence: nothing else to say

Izumi Kyōka: 9/10

Double pigtails are a timeless classic, Kyōka slays in both anime and manga. I feel the huge white sections of her hair were an amazing choice to make it look maximum shiny, and in the anime the colour scheme is very beautiful. The white flowers perfectly complete the look, even though I do fear they are hard to recreate for cosplayers.

This hair style befits both her young age and her dramatic backstory, the only downside is the,,, I can barely say it,,, ahoge. Just my personal opinion, I don't like those at alllll. However Kyōka does manage to pull it off as naturally as possible. Sentence: you were so close.

Tanizaki Jun'ichirō: 10/10

Well well, oh dear, Tanizaki, you make it hard for me. Objectively speaking, this is one random af haircut, like, there definitely is A LOT of commitment behind it, however, what exactly Tanizaki actually committed to is left entirely unclear. I would list all the different directions his style is going in now, but frankly, I have never seen anything like it.

If I had to put my finger on it, I'd say his hair just entirely lacks character. There are no vibes there at all. You'd think that the hair clip would add something, but even tho it vaguely looks cool, it doesn't. It also looks so much better in my imagination, even though there never has been a good image of it. Oddly befitting of his ability, you just can't fucking tell what is going on here. Sentence: ??? Masterpiece

bucciarati is a gentleman so ofc he’s gonna bring you on the perfect date

he picks you up at a good time,

opens the car door for you,

and drives you to a fancy high class restaurant in his car.

(btw his car smells so good it smells like new car but also like him and his perfume i bet he uses something expensive idrk perfume)

hes so gentlemanly im in love

so this restaurant.

there’s a live band playing some background music,

there’s a nice candlelit table for you two to sit at,

the waiters are so professional and attentive,

bucciarati also ordered a super expensive red wine to share between the two of you

the vibe is seriously just lovely.

bucciarati is literally just filling all the cliche gentleman things ok

idrk what else to say, it’s just a wonderful date and when you’re not eating, the two of you are chatting and staring into each others eyes without a care in the world

narancia also pulls you everywhere by the hand, and he’s got this huge smile on his face so even if you’re getting a little dizzy and lost in the market with how fast he’s going, it’s all worth it because his smile is there to reassure you it’ll be fine!

by the end of the night, your hearts and your tummies are full <3

(as suggested by bucciarati), narancia offers to walk you back home.

the walk home is slow, partly because your tummies are too full, and partly because you just don’t want this night to end.

but eventually, you make it to your front door and he pauses awkwardly, shifting around on his feet.

it’s quite clear he has something on his mind, so you ask him.

“o-oh uh… it’s nothing really…”

but if his constant glancing at your lips on the way back was anything to go by, you knew exactly what he wanted to ask.

so you lean forward and quickly peck his cheek.

and everything is going fine until some rowdy group of students his age (clearly escaping their class field trip or something) are causing trouble.

fugo takes it upon himself to ask them to not be a nuisance but they don’t really care (plus he’s wearing his normal clothes rather than his gang attire ya know?)

and unfortunately he explodes and gets into a fight

long story short, he felt horrible for causing a ruckus, almost damaging an exhibit, and worst of all, ruining your first date with him.

so while you’re left speechless and staring, he quickly turns away and walks away, planning to probably never to speak to you again.

but... you walk over and grab his hand.

it’s the first time you’ve held hands today.

fugo flinches and almost pulls away but he’s trying his absolute hardest right now to not do that because...

“why are you still trying to talk to me? after all that you just saw?”

and you reply, “i don’t know how to say it... but i thought that was kind of cool. and i know it’s not as if you’re always like that. i wouldn’t agree to go on a date if i despised that side of you, you know?”

fugo is kinda shocked honestly, he never expected to hear that.

but he squeezes your hands lightly and nods.

“thank you, it means a lot. i promise to bring you on a better date next time! somewhere quieter where we won’t be interrupted.”

And as laid back as he is, disrespect to those he loves is the one shit he won’t take.

He’ll hold you close and with his signature grin, compliment you and tell you how much he appreciates you and as soon as someone lays a finger on you, his hand is on the hilt of the sword and he waits three seconds for an explanation before he cuts them down. No one messes with his beloved.

Katakuri loves you like you’re glass, he’s careful, protective, cautious and treats you like you’re fragile, because he’s afraid of hurting you.

He’s larger than most, he’s aware of that, so he always takes the precautions to be aware of his surroundings, especially when you are around. He wants you safe and he will be devastated if he is the cause of your pain.

His large stature is a blessing to you though, because cuddling is so comfortable and comforting, it’s amazing. You can curl up and relax and just be at ease with him, because he’s so protective of you, even from his family members. He often keeps you away from Cracker and Perospero, in the slightest chance that they try to take you away from him.

He’ll be extremely heartbroken if Big Mom doesn’t approve of you, but his love for you is stronger, so he’ll keep it a secret if he has to but eventually, he’ll pray and wish for her blessing, asking the help of his siblings to convince her.

Katakuri reminds you of family, that even friends or crewmates are family and love you all the same.

Koby loves you like a typical high school crush. He’s all shy and blushy, and evidently embarrassed when the pretty one at school is talking to him, ( that’s you. ).

He’s like the wallflower type, who tries to blend in but somehow, he sticks out in a way that lures you to him, like he’s hit the jackpot.

He is incredibly sweet, and his shyness is so adorable. You can’t help but coo whenever you see his red cheeks and soft smile of care he offers.

Always helps you with everything, will take the blame whenever you get in trouble, takes the suffering and pain when guys try to mess with you, and no matter how tough things get, he’s holding a brave face for you.

Koby reminds you of kindness, treat everyone with care and kindness, and it goes a long way.

Izo loves you like you’re a painting, he thinks you are true beauty, inside and out, you are a work of art, a true Mother Nature masterpiece born. One to be admired.

The type to be there. He’ll hold your hair while you vomit, rubbing soothing circles on your back while you cry, painting your nails while you complain about Ace, assure your perfection when you’re feeling insecure.

Best advice giver, holds no judgements at all. He’ll help with anything, because you need him. Romantic advice, friendship, sexual advice ;), he will help you any way he can.

He truly admires you, not because of your beauty, but your strength to be able to cry. Crying doesn’t mean weakness but rather, strength to be able to move forward even in the worst of times.

Cavendish Of The White Horse

Cavendish loves you like you’re a princess, and he is your handsome Prince Charming.

Every thing he does it like from a fairytale, if it involved a rather.. bit of a narcissistic Prince Charming. But he means well, because he still treats you like a real princess.

He gives you daily horseback rides, teaching you with his strong arms wrapped around yours and his black fancy hat on top of your head, as you two ride around and share laughs and memories.

And even through his big ego, he still makes sure to compliment you, tell you how proud he is of you and how much he truly admires you for your strong will and determination, because he really does love you. More than you know.
