Meeting the Dragons

-romantic scenario-

Part 1

Pitaya Dragon

Oh boy, ever since meeting you Pitaya was HEAD over heals for you- not that they would admit it

They planned on telling you they were a dragon… eventually!

But Snap Dragon might have made that revel come sooner than expected…

The two of you were hanging out together when Snap Dragon emerged right from Pitayas hair

The two of you were quite shocked, but you were more excited about Snap Dragon than Pitaya was

You started to coo over Snap Dragon, baby dragons were rare so you were ecstatic

Snap Dragon was LOVING the attention that you were giving them. And they also were happy to meet the cookie Pitaya was always rambling about

Now Pitaya was kinda jealous of the attention you were giving Snap Dragon

So they decided to finally reveal themself to you

At the drop of a cape you noticed your friend had a dragon tail and wings but you quickly realized that you were in the presence of, not just one dragon, but two!

You were so excited, you couldn’t stop asking Pitaya questions! Pitaya even let you touch their wings!

Pitaya smiled as you played with Snap Dragon, this is why they love you.

Ananas Dragon

About a month of the two of you leaving gifts for each other Ananas finally decided it was time for you to meet them

Now The Golden Dragon wouldn’t admit it, but they planed how this meeting would go for days

It just had to be perfect!

So around Dawn The Golden Dragon went to the usual exchange spot and waited for several hours until they heard someone walking towards the area

The dragon took a deep breath, fixed their hair, and made it look like they were leaving a gift

When you saw The Golden dragon you froze, you didn’t expect to see THE Golden Dragon

Ananas greeted you with elegance they rehearsed more than once

Now they did get nervous when you didn’t respond immediately but after a minute you could hardly contain your excitement

Ananas could see this so they allowed you to ask them some questions

That absolutely made your day! You were talking to a REAL dragon

Your excitement made Ananas Smile

Lotus Dragon

Lotus was getting really curious about you. The Blue Dragon only knew about your passion for dragons

The dragon wanted to actually meet you

So they called Hydrangea Cookie to fetch you

When you heard you were required to go to the Lotus Palace, you nearly had a heart attack.

And your heart practically stoped when you were informed that The Blue Dragon wanted to see you

THE BLUE DRAGON WANTED TO SEE YOU???

When you got to the palace you were and absolute mess but The Blue Dragon was calm as an undisturbed ocean

Lotus knew you were nervous but that didn’t bother them, they wanted to get to know you better so they offered you to have tea with them

Lotus just loved the way you rambled on about yourself

Lychee Dragon

Lychee Dragon was SO desperate for your love

But them being Mangosteen Cookie would definitely make things weird so they needed a plan

Their plan was simple, they continued to be Mangosteen Cookie but also have you meet their real self so they can spend the most amount of time with you!

That was the main idea.

So one day when you were alone Lychee Dragon made themself look like they got stuck in one of the Rambutan Tribes traps they didn’t get stuck

When you found them, they could see a mix of a lot of different emotions. Shock, excitement and confusion.

Lychee Dragon, once free, made a whole sob story about how lonely they were.

You believed it. As asked if Lychee wanted to be your friend

They said yes obviously

Now was Lychee manipulating you to some degree by being two separate cookies? Yes

Did they really care about the potential problems this may cause? No

They could just brainwash you to make you forget!

Longan Dragon

Oh boy.

Longan dragon is… interesting to say the least.

They may or may not have kidnapped you for one night so they could meet you

And you may or may not think it was a dream.

But Longan will probably keep taking you in the dead of night and then returning you the next morning.

It’s the only way they can see you without causing a mass panic

Sorry if this isn’t really an ‘x reader’ if that’s what you wanted, but I tried to keep it positive for some of the dragons

A different type of power

Having been baked with a strange voodoo power, your dough has had this powerful ability for as long as you remember. Any type of injury or curse that befalls upon you is inflicted upon the one that gave you it! While your dough thankfully had a very improved regeneration rate, your attacker wouldn’t be as fortunate as you.

With a dangerous ability such as this, almost all cookies eventually learnt to stay out of your way. But luckily for all of them, you only had a very specific group in mind to pay a visit to…

Pitaya Dragon Cookie would almost be in disbelief upon seeing you march up to his lair in the Dragon’s Valley and challenging him to fight, due to the fact that you were not armed or wearing any kind of armour. Determined to punish you for the under serving ego you showed, he was already charging towards you and striking you on your torso… only to feel an excruciating pain on his torso the second his weapon made contact with you.

By the time it was all over, Pitaya Dragon Cookie would be in full disbelief. How could such a weak-looking cookie manage to defeat him without even fighting back?! From then on, he’d view you in both respect and resentment. On one hand, you had managed to show him power through different means than sheer strength or agility, but on the other hand… he hated how you were able to defeat him without even having to properly fight. It felt like cheating, and yet he still finds himself wanting to continue holding spars against you. While he doesn’t really care how your voodooism works, he’s actually become quite happy with its existence, as it finally gives him a challenge that he plans on overcoming eventually.

Ananas Dragon Cookie was no different, his eyebrow already twitching in visible anger as you strolled up to him so causally, as if you were daring to insult his grand lair and presence. All tolerance towards you was basically non-existent from the start, and it only got worse once he discovered why his attacks towards you were only causing him pain. It enrages him, how such a lowly cookie like yourself was able to make a fool out of the mighty dragon that he was and get away with it due to repelling back any sense he tried to knock into you.

He has his islands, his lair, his power and his influence over the denizens of the islands, while all you have is your little voodooism, and yet you were able to control him so effortlessly? He couldn’t dare retaliate against your utter disrespect, as small marks from when he first attacked you were still visible in his body. With his ego shattered thanks to the your power, don’t expect to be met with a warm welcome whenever you decide to visit his islands again.

Lotus Dragon Cookie could already sense your unusual presence from the second you stepped onto their paradise. To your surprise, you were summoned to their palace by Hydrangea Cookie, where the dragon started asking you about your strange aura, seeming to be genuinely curious for the first time in a long while.

Eventually, with all the information she gained about your power, she’s pleasantly intrigued and surprised with this new revelation. How did this happen to you and how could she use this voodooism energy for herself? You’ll always be invited back to the palace whenever your return to the Lotus Paradise go have yet another interrogation chat with the Dragon, but she isn’t on planning on telling you the plan that she was hiding behind these meet-ups with you…

Unsurprisingly, your encounter with Lychee Dragon Cookie resulted in nothing but sheer irritation from the dragon’s. It’s bad enough that they can’t try to fight you, as their body is not used to receiving pain due to how little they’ve ever actually had to take a fight seriously, but they can’t even get you to fall under their charm as well, as goodness knows what would happen to them if they did. Would they be stuck as a mindless slave to themselves? They absolutely did not want to test out their theory at all.

Lychee Dragon Cookie now has to endure you whenever you visit their lair and do whatever you want just to spite them. You were just a pathetic cookie, and yet you were able to one-up them like this?! This lead to them becoming more determined to find a way to bypass your voodoo powers so that you fall under their charm once and for all. They dream of the day that they’ll put you in your rightful place, adoring them like all the others in their cave…

Longan Dragon Cookie had already taken notice of your existence long before you even approached their Lustrous Palace, but meeting you face to face was one of the more… displeasurable moments of their entire existence, to put it lightly. They see you as the biggest flaw in their great plan, knowing very well that turning you into stone would cause the same to happen to themselves. They craved the chance of using their strength to outright destroy you altogether, but it was still too risky, for who knows what might happen to them then if they reduced your body to crumbs

In the end, the unstoppable force has finally met the immovable object. Your presence had the eruptive effect of truly enraging the Ivory Dragon for what may be the first time in forever, and they it took them some effort to still be able to hold you in the same regard as all other cookies. You’re weak. Pathetic. A waste of space. And yet your darned voodoo powers are holding him back from fully achieving the nostalgic past. Although their expression hasn’t changed at all, behind their eyes is the most ferocious, scorching hate directed towards you specifically.

And so, your journey came to a finish. However, tales of the cookie who managed to stand against the legendary dragons and survive spread all over Earthbread, causing a wave of ruckus and inspiration for the next few months in places such as the Dragon City…

Long live the dragons, who had their respected quarters. On many different islands, five of them to be exact, there was one which a particular cookie resided on. Y/n cookie, just an ordinary soul, rested on the island known as the Lotus Paradise, which was a lush island, known for its beauty and lustrous lights, lush plant life, even the most beautiful flowers one can even dream of.

They sat at a dock, staring down at the crystal clear water beneath the slowly eroded wood, surrounding them were the walls of the Lotus Palace, having been painted numerous coats of dark turquoise paint, having chipped away by the rain. They held their fan for their lips, eyeing the koi fish that swam in the pond below. They wanted to be free, much like the koi fish, energized, much like them. However they always seem to wake up tired, like they have no energy left. They try to walk with grace, poise, elegance, however none is to come later on. They walk back off of the dock a onto pressure washed concrete path, walking back to their quarters some ways away.

The ruler of this said palace was an almighty dragon, believe it or not, and may or may not be responsible for your petty woes of fatigue. Albeit for a benevolent purpose, this dragon, humbly referred to as the Lotus Dragon, almost seemingly had no right to suck the energy out of their people, all for the slow restoration of the palace, back to what it once was. As described by a faithful servant, Hydrangea Cookie, Lotus Dragon Cookie was not only said to be powerful yet kind, graceful yet merciful, but attractive as well. Very handsome indeed for a dragon. Truly, if they wanted they could have any cookie in the world to themselves, yet, they had no desire for such things. Of course they had their own harem where they could have multiple concubines at their feet at once, on beck and call with the flip of a card, but they still did not have an interest in that kind of thing, never really leaving their palace, preferring to stay indoors with their mandolin, strumming away calmly at the strings with a soft smile.

…that was, until you came along into their perfect world.

You once attended the wish festival, an annual event that happened once a year, where the Lotus Dragon would grant wishes that the cookies would give them. On one account you made a wish, writing your wish on a silver piece of paper. You held the letter to your chest, hoping for the best that the dragon grants your wish true. Your wish was simply to have more energy, to be more robust. You were tired of aching limbs, as though they were going to crack at any given moment. The dragon saw this, laid out on the silver sheet and smiled, putting a fuchsia painted nail, as sharp as diamonds, to their lips. With a quick flip of their dark cerulean hair over their shoulder, they nodded, and folded the sheet. The lotus on their head took a wishful glow, their draconian pupils glowing with the delicate powder pink petals. “Finally, an interesting wish…” they saluted. Their voice, clean and clear, smooth and alluring. Hydrangea Cookie smiled, standing by them with a nod of her head. “What a pleasant surprise, oh great dragon!” “Truly.” They replied, their smile fading away into a look of confusion. “However,” they turned away to grant your wish through the lotus, the very entity that granted Lotus Dragon Cookie their power, strength, and longevity. Their tail quietly thumped on the ground, causing the lotus to sprout open with a quick bounce, a golden light emanating from the core of the flower.

“Why didn’t this one come visit me directly? They aren’t scared, are they?” Hydrangea Cookie gasped, surprised at the dragon’s question. She walked over to their side and looked at their features, trying to look them in the eye. “How dare they be scared of you, oh great dragon? You have been nothing but benevolent to all of the cookies than reside here, they should be grateful that you’re even considering their wish.” They looked at the silvery sheet and blinked, their long ivory eyelashes fluttering with the slow motion. They suddenly had a thought— a wish of their own. “Hydrangea Cookie?” She blinked, still attentive to the dragon next to her. Her lavender purple hair bounced with a nod, signaling Lotus that they had her attention still, “I need you, as well as the other palace consorts, to leave the palace for the night. You may return tomorrow afternoon, but you mustn’t come back until then.”

The shorter floral cookie beside them nodded, before taking their leave however they turned to ask the dragon, “may I ask why, great dragon?” They turned their head, seeing Hydragea still at their chamber doors, doorknob in hand. He smiled with a wink, letting his finger travel back to his lips, “I have my own plans tonight. It’s beautiful out, I cannot waste the serene atmosphere.” Although their reasoning was a bit void, it didn’t really make sense to her, she still nodded in confirmation and let the Lotus Dragon be, gathering the other consorts quickly to leave the palace. After they had found Hydrangea and the others, leaving the palace gates, they smiled mischievously and traveled on, the pink bud at the end of their tail in the air, swaying from left and right as they… slithered, you could humorously say, to their terrace outside our their bedchambers, taking the pristine iron fence in one hand. They overlooked the courtyard below, waiting to see that one cookie they wondered about.

Now… how to get you to come over like they wanted.

Truly, they were curious about you, why you didn’t come to see them for this year’s wish festival. You were one of their consorts after all, one that they seemed to like despite barely seeing you. Black sclera eyes focused in on you as they targeted you sitting on a bench in their courtyard, reading a book under the stars and the careful guidance of a book light. They smiled at you, and had another thought. They knew their mandolin had an effect that could make cookies weak, but they also had a secret— something that no cookie knew.

Their voice also had a quirk to it.

Rarely even used however they knew that their voice could allure cookies. The fact that cookies would slowly becomes mindless drones once hearing Lotus sing… was truly a fascinating occurrence. They had a song planned for you, truly a beautiful one. They remember it from back in the ancient times, when they were friends with a siren like creature of the deep. They smiled at you as you turned an off white page, adjusting your legs to accommodate your comfort upon the bench you occupied. The air around you smelled clean and crisp, a floral scent forever present within each breeze, usually accompanied with the light tint of saltwater.

“Hear my voice beneath the sea, sleeping now so peacefully, at the bottom of the sea, sleep for all eternity..”
