Homemade dinner and a bouquet of flowers

Orter Mádl x GN Reader

Warning: Mention of house arrest

This one-short references @dabi-drift ,thank you very much for giving me permission

Summary: Orter returns home, and halfway through, he ends up receiving a bouquet of flowers from a sweet lady as thanks. Upon arriving, he didn't expect that the human without magic who is under house arrest in his house would make dinner for him

The Desert Cane, Orter Mádl, was walking home with a bouquet of flowers in one of his arms...

Well, this can be explained

During a patrol, he ended up saving an elderly woman from a robbery. The lady owned a flower shop and gave Orter this bouquet of flowers as thanks.

"Thank you very much, young man, for helping me in that situation" the lady says while walking next to Orter

"I don't need thanks, I did what was necessary and correct for justice" Orter says while accompanying the lady to her home

Arriving at the residence, which also happened to be the lady's flower shop, she starts going through her bag to find the keys.

"Don't be like that young man, I want to thank you properly..." the lady says as she manages to find the keys and unlocks the door

"Come in, I can make you dinner to say thanks" the lady says as she turns to find the very quiet boy

And see him staring at a certain set of flowers

“Young man?” the lady says, breaking Orter out of his thoughts

"Yes. I'm sorry I wasn't listening..." Orter says he is looking at the lady and adjusting his glasses

"Ho, no need to apologize" the lady says while placing a hand "However, you seem to like these flowers very much"

"No, and that was just thinking" Orter lies, he can't tell an unknown lady that these flowers remind him of someone inside his house under house arrest

"Don't lie, young man, I know when there's something in your thoughts, or rather someone, hehehe~" the lady says as she enters the store and picks up the flowers that Orter was looking at and starts making a bouquet

"Here" Orter says as he gives the lady the exact amount of money to pay for the bouquet

"Oh, no need, that's a thank you, since if you take too long, maybe your loved one might get worried. Now go home" the lady says while returning the money and handing over the bouquet

Without letting Desert Cane refute it, the lady had already kicked him out of her flower shop, leaving him outside with a bouquet.

Remembering the previous event, Orter continued walking home

When you arrive at the door of your residence, Orter takes the utmost care not to damage the flowers, takes your keys and unlocks the door.

Upon opening the door, Orter is faced with an unforgettable scene.

A person without magic called (Name) (Surname) with a yellow apron is preparing the dinner table facing The Desert Cane Orter Mádl

"...What are you doing?" Orter says while walking towards (Name)

"Can't you see? I'm preparing the table" (Name) says as they places a plate of salad on the table

Orter just looked at them , wanting to know why they were preparing the table.

Noticing Orter's look, (Name) says, "Mister Ryoh called me asking if everything was ok, since you seemed grumpier than usual, so as a way to improve your mood, I decided to make dinner" (Name) says while cleaning your hands on your apron and completely turning your body to face him, until they notice the bouquet "Why do you have a bouquet of flowers?"

"I helped a lady along the way, and as a 'Thank You' she gave me the bouquet," Orter says as he hands the bouquet to (Name) who happily accepts

"Surprising, and these are my favorites" (Name) says as they go towards the kitchen and put the flowers in a glass of water

'I know' was what Orter would say but would never admit

(Name) returns to the living room now with the bouquet in a vase and places it in the center of the dining table

"There! Now it's perfect" (Name) says with a childish glow

'Cute' Orter think

"Now try it" (Name) says while pushing Orter to sit on one of the chairs

Orter sat down and then waited for (Name) to sit down too so they could have dinner together.

"It's not poisoned" (Name) says randomly as they wait for him to put some food on her plate

"...Why did you just say that?" Orter says while looking at them with the same dull expression.

"You're kind of staring at the food and stuff... and I thought you thought it was poisoned..."

"It is impossible to be poisoned; there is no item that could be used to cause poisoning, given the fact that you are prohibited from leaving this house, and even if there were, I would be able to use a healing spell"

"Then why don't you eat the dinner I made?"

"..." Orter continues to stare at (Name) hoping they get the hint

"If you don't want to and just talk, I can -"

"I'm waiting for you to sit down so we can eat," Orter deciding to put some of his pride aside and finally deciding to say what was on his mind

"Oh, right!!" (Name) finally gets the hint to sit in front of Orter

"Have dinner~" (Name) says, clapping their hands and starting to pick up the food

"... Have dinner." Orter repeats the same words and also starts to pick up the food

As he put the first bite of dinner into his mouth, Orter couldn't lie, the dinner was delicious.

"It's good" Orter says as he continues to eat

"Heh~ I know that, and besides, I was the amazing (Name) (Last name) who did it!" (Name) says proudly

"Hm..." Orter wouldn't say, but he wouldn't mind coming home early just to have dinner with (Name)

And that night, Orter understood the concept of a pleasant dinner

BONUS:

"Here!" (Name) exclaimed, holding a lunch box in front of Orter who was ready to leave

"...What?" Orter speaks while facing (Name) and then facing the lunch box

"I made a lot of food while making dinner, so I decided to leave half of it for your lunch, so you're not grumpier than usual and leave your employees alone" (Name) speaks without a hint of fear of being killed by Orter

"Sigh, ok" Orter says as he accepts the lunch that (Name) made for him

"Hehe~ have a good job, Orter!" (Name) says when they sees Orter leaving the front door to work

Orter Mádl would never admit it, but his favorite food is food made by (Name)

What It's Like Making Creampuffs Together

It was one of the times when you three are left alone as Lemon, Finn and Dot were busy leaving you three along. Not really knowing what to do you all decided some baking would be fun.

You along with Lance are always shock as no matter what Mash makes it will always turn out to be creampuffs. So you just decided to make creampuffs and just told Lance and Mash to be your assistants.

Those two are actually great helpers even if they messed up here and there. You did make sure to make extras as you knew they would want to take some home to their family's.

So when you all three were done you all took a bite out of the creampuffs and were surprised on how good they were. Now you are witness of Lance amd Mash stuffing their faces. And both were happy that you made extras.

Put three of you in the kitchen and you guys can make the greatest creampuffs. Even Lemon, Dot, and Finn agree.

ever since you met Mash at the entrance exam, you felt something you haven’t felt for anybody before

everything about him was perfect — the way he looks at you, his incredible strength, his love for cream puffs, and so much more

thinking about it makes your heart skip a beat

this really becomes frustrating, meanwhile that boy is probably somewhere eating a cream puff

one time, you made him his favorite food

his face immediately lights up and he already got straight to eating it after thanking you

however if they were nasty.. he would be honest about it, but at the same time he will try to spare your feelings

at some point, you just decided to confess

after waiting, he shows up

“Look Mash, I have liked you since forever. If you don’t like me back, that’s fine. I just wanted to tell you how I truly felt about you.”

A fair exchange

Rayne Ames x GNreader

Request made by Anon, hope you like it

I decided to put (Name) as a student of Orca due to the fact that Magarret gave her gold coins to others because she wasn't interested

Warning: This takes place before Mashle begins, so there will be no quotes from any of the protagonists.

Gender: Fluff

Summary: Rayne goes on a date in exchange for a gold coin to become a Divine Visionary

"Hey Rayne!" A person with (h/c) hair says turning his head to face Rayne who was a little far away as they continue to lean on the iron bars that separated him from the lake

"Look at that duck! Isn't he funny and cute at the same time?" They say while pointing at a specific duck

Rayne sighs as she approaches the bar and sees the spot where they pointed.

The duck they said was cute and funny was one with shades of black and yellow that was upside down

Did the colors remind you of someone...?

"They look like you!" To confirm Rayne's doubt, they said while letting out a few giggles

'...Why am I even here?' Rayne think while rethinking the last moments that led him here

"Hey! You and Rayne right?" A voice behind him catches his attention, so he turns to face the owner of the voice.

There was a person with (h/c) who wore an Orca coat

"Yes... What do you need?" Rayne asks suspiciously and his guard was up, he had never seen this person before and now they wanted to talk

"I heard you're after coins to become a Divine Visionary..." They say as they lean forward "And I kind of have a gold coin here..."

This alarms Rayne who was ready to grab her wand.

It seems they noticed this movement and raise their hands to show redemption "Calm down, calm down, I'm not here to fight! I want to make an exchange" They say while waiting for his reaction

"...A switch?" Rayne says without letting her guard down but lowering her hand from reaching for the wand

"That's it! If you do a single favor, I'll give you the coin for free without worry" They say while making pistols with their hands and pointing at him

Rayne raises an eyebrow showing that she is interested in this 'exchange'

The (h/c) person gets the hint and continues "Great! The only thing I want is to go on a date with you!" They say pointing to Rayne

'......What?' Rayne wasn't showing it but his brain was spinning as fast as possible to understand this exchange

Without noticing they continue "I kind of wanted to go to an event that will take place in a small square and nobody wants to go with me..." They admit with shame

"Are you trying to tell me that you will exchange your currency to go on a date with me just because you don't want to go to this event alone?" Rayne responds with indignation in her voice.

"B-but think on the positive side! You get a gold coin without having to fight!" They say trying to persuade them

"And how do I know that I don't -" Before Rayne responds the person takes out a gold coin from his coat and shows it to him

"I'm not one to not keep my words!" They respond with indignation in their voice at being almost called liars

"So? Do we have a deal?" They say while moving the coin from side to side

"We have" Rayne says making the (h/c) person start to jump with joy

"That's it! Hahaha" They continue as they celebrate their victory, seeming to forget the existence of the boy with two-colored hair

"*Ahem* My name is (First Name) (Last Name)" They finally introduce themselves as they snap out of their stupor

'Oh and that' Rayne remembered the reason as she walked a little behind (Name) who was humming an unknown song

And of course at first Rayne wasn't confident about it and only accepted because of the coin out that (Name) said they would pay for everything so he didn't need to bring money, but he did anyway, and they actually paid for everything

So here the two of them were passing by some stalls that were selling various types of items, some caught (Name)'s attention so they stopped to take a closer look and deciding to buy or not others they offered to buy something for Rayne but he always refused

As they walked something caught Rayne's attention.

There was a shooting range, but that wasn't what caught his attention.

It was one of the rewards, a giant stuffed rabbit.

"Did you like him?" Suddenly a voice takes Rayne out of his thoughts and he looks at the owner, who as always was (Name) who was now next to him looking at the plush.

Before he could say anything (Name) took his hand and led him to the tent where the rabbit was.

"What can I help you young people with?" The stall owner says as soon as they get close enough

"How much is three tries?" (Name) says as she starts going through her bag looking for her wallet.

"There are 5 coins for three attempts" The owner responds

Rayne looks at them suspiciously as she watches them pay the amount and receive the gun and point it at the target.

After several attempts and losing a good amount of money (Name) finally managed to win

"Heh~ Now pass the giant rabbit!" (Name) says in a proud tone like I did it the first time while putting away the gun

"Here it is!" The owner says while handing over the plush that was bigger than (Name)

After they thank them, (Name) turns to Rayne

"Here! For you!" They say as they lift the big rabbit

Rayne didn't seem like it, but he was surprised that they played and spent a good amount of money just to give him the rabbit.

"...Thank you" Rayne says as he accepts the bunny trying to hide her excitement

"It has!" (Name) says smiling with her eyes closed at him

So Rayne and (Name) went to see more stalls leaving the stall owner happy to see an adorable interaction

"That was the best date I've had in my entire life!" (Name) says while walking down the school hallway next to Rayne

After that interaction, the two did more things together and are now back at school.

"And as part of the agreement" (Name) says stopping in the middle of the way making Rayne stop too

(Name) goes through her bag and takes out the gold coin and holds it up to Rayne

"Here! Thanks for the date!" They said while smiling at Rayne

"It was nice doing business with you" Rayne says while picking up the coin with her free hand from the giant stuffed rabbit

"I'm also grateful for the rabbit" He continues as he puts the coin in a safe place

"You're welcome, I heard you liked rabbits!" They say letting out a little laugh

"...Maybe one day we can go on a date without needing to change" Rayne says, surprising (Name)

Before (Name) could say anything, he immediately left heading towards his dorm.

"I'm always willing to go on dates with you Rayne!" That was the last thing Rayne heard from them before turning into a hallway.

Rayne Ames x Gender Neutral Reader

Summary: (Name) was busy with work and other activities that took a toll on his health, so it wasn't a surprise that they passed out, but don't worry your amazing boyfriend Rayne is to the rescue!!!!

'How did you get to this state?' (Name) think to herself while looking at her reflection in the mirror

The reflection showed a person with disheveled (h/c) hair and large dark circles under their eyes.

'It looks like you didn't even sleep last night...' (Name) thinks while still staring at her reflection until she realizes something, 'Wait... I didn't really sleep last night' (Name) lowers her head and faces the sink, as if something much better than her current appearance, which really was

How long has it been since (Name) had a proper sleep and meal? A week or two, maybe it was more, but (Name)'s pride was greater to take that on

The main reason that (Name) was not getting adequate sleep and meals was that they were extremely busy with schoolwork and activities

'Just put water on your face and everything will be fine' (Name) thinks while turning on the tap in the sink and takes a handful and throws it on his face

And of course (Name) could talk about it to his beloved Rayne, but... they didn't want to burden him with things they could do themselves.

Rayne was a man busy with his role as Divine Visionary and all that.

'And just one more day, and then you'll finally get your beauty sleep! You can do it (Name)!' They think as they leave their room ready for another day of school, and go to the library to continue researching the work the teacher asked for.

After all, today was an important day, a work on certain types of magic and how they could be related to a specific God, just put the finishing touches on it and it will be incredible.

"(Name)?" A male voice interrupts (Name)'s thoughts

When they realized that the voice was in front of them, (Name) faced the owner of the voice

Clear eyes stare at (e/c)

It was Rayne Ames, or rather (Name)'s boyfriend

"Ah, Ray! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in the cafeteria?" (Name) says while still looking into her boyfriend's beautiful eyes

Rayne then stares at (Name) as if they had offended the rabbits "I was going there but why aren't you in the cafeteria" He continues as he crosses his arms and stares at (Name)

"Ah! I-and I was going to the library to look for a book, then I was going to the cafeteria" (Name) says, it's true that they were going to the library looking for a specific book, but they wouldn't leave the library until were the classes

"You'd better go to the cafeteria and then the library" Rayne says while still staring at (Name), he looked like a father who just found his son returning from a party he told him not to go to

"Ah... I'm kind of scared of forgetting to get the book, so I thought I'd go to the library first" (Name) says. They didn't want to stop talking to Rayne, but they didn't want to worry him

"I'm really sorry, Rayne, but I really need to get this book before it's too late" (Name) continues while staring at Rayne with her best puppy dog eyes

"I'm going with you, so let's go to the cafeteria together" Rayne says as she turns towards the library path holding out her hand for (Name) to take

"Okay~" (Name) says while holding Rayne's hand and the two walk together

(Name) never thought she'd be grateful that Rayne was so busy

(Name) managed to get the book and when they and Rayne went to the cafeteria together, they called Rayne for a deal about the magical items

Rayne looked disappointed, but with (Name)'s insistence, he went to help

Now (Name) was sitting in the classroom of his first class, as he finished the final preparations for his presentation

'It has to be perfect!!! Nothing can go wrong!!!' (Name) think as she closes the reference book and sees her colleagues entering

'I didn't eat breakfast, but that's okay, at lunch I increase my portion' They think when they realize they ate nothing but water and a granola bar yesterday

The teacher enters the room and goes to her place and starts taking roll.

"As we know, today we still have presentations, and now it's Mr (Name)'s turn to introduce himself." As soon as the teacher finishes explaining, she waves towards (Name) for them to start

(Name) with the help of her magic pick up the items from her presentation and will start walking to go ahead

'Now it's all or nothing' (Name) says as they close their eyes and smile

But the moment they open their eyes... they find themselves faced with a ceiling that wasn't their classroom.

They were in the infirmary

"...What?..." (Name) says while trying to process why she's staring at the infirmary ceiling

"You're finally awake!" Suddenly clear eyes that showed concern stared at (Name), they had already seen these eyes before

It was Rayne Ames, or rather (Name)'s boyfriend

"Rayne? What are you doing here?" (Name) says as they start to try to get up, but are stopped by Rayne, who puts her hands on his shoulders and gently pushes him to the bed, which makes them look at him with confusion.

Knowing that (Name) was going to ask, Rayne says, "You should rest as much as you can; you fainted while going to the front to give a work presentation"

"Ah, that's what happened" (Name) says as he starts to think about the trouble they went through when they fainted in front of their classmates and teacher

"...Why didn't you tell me you were overwhelmed?" Rayne says out of nowhere with a tone of voice that showed concerns

And of course he would be worried, he was notified that his beloved had fainted as soon as they separated.

"I kind of didn't want to worry you about something silly, you're so busy you don't even have time to rest, I thought it would be better for me to take care of it myself" (Name) says as he starts to sit on the bed, Rayne didn't interrupt him this time

As soon as (Name) sits up completely on the bed and faces Rayne

Then they touch Rayne's head and start playing with his hair "But I messed up, I'm sorry for worrying you" (Name) says while sending a guilty smile

Rayne stares at (Name) as they continue to play with their hair

Then Rayne closes her eyes as they feel the sensation of their fingers brushing her hair

"It's okay... but next time tell me and take care of your health"

"OK!"

"I'll bring you lunch," Rayne says as she gently takes (Name)'s hand away and holds it in hers.

Suddenly he brings his hand to your lips and kisses your wrist

"Okay, I'm going" As soon as he breaks the kiss he gets up and heads towards the infirmary door

Rayne was probably ignoring that it made (Name) a blushing mess that could compete with her little brother's friend's hair color.

"Here" Rayne hands (Name) a lunch box with rabbit details around it

"You didn't need to make food for me." Even though (Name) denied it, they still took the lunch box and opened his lunch box

As soon as they picked it up, Rayne took out a similar lunch box

"The teacher saw your work and said you got full marks" Rayne says as she opens the lid of her lunch box and starts eating.

"I'm glad my sweat and tears weren't wasted on this work" (Name) says as she takes a piece of her food and puts it in her mouth

After that little conversation, comfortable silence filled around the two of them in the infirmary.

Valentine's Day

Decided to do this as a Valentine's Day special, hope you like it

An interesting fact that I discovered is that people who are called Valentina/Valentino/Valentim this day is like an Onomastic birthday (Birthday of someone who is named after the Saint of that day) So happy birthday Valentina/Valentino/Valentim!!!

Summary: How they react to receiving gifts from their s/o on Valentine's Day

They stand there with their eyebrows widened as they stare at the gift in their hands.

It is not a surprise for them to receive gifts at this time or even hundreds of their admirers

Sometimes it was a hassle to have so many chocolates or gifts
