Judging Others
1 ‘Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. 2 For with the judgement you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. 3 Why do you see the speck in your neighbour’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your neighbour, “Let me take the speck out of your eye”, while the log is in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbour’s eye.
Profaning the Holy
6 ‘Do not give what is holy to dogs; and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under foot and turn and maul you.
Ask, Search, Knock
7 ‘Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 Is there anyone among you who, if your child asks for bread, will give a stone? 10 Or if the child asks for a fish, will give a snake? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
The Golden Rule
12 ‘In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets.
The Narrow Gate
13 ‘Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. 14 For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
A Tree and Its Fruit
15 ‘Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? 17 In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will know them by their fruits.
Concerning Self-Deception
21 ‘Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord”, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only one who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?” 23 Then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.”
Hearers and Doers
24 ‘Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. 25 The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great was its fall!’
28 Now when Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were astounded at his teaching, 29 for he taught them as one having authority, and not as their scribes. — Matthew 7 | New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised (NRSVA) New Revised Standard Version Bible: Anglicised Edition, copyright © 1989, 1995 the Division of Christian Education of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the United States of America. The constant discipline of godly instruction
The constant discipline of godly instruction
A believer’s heart cannot be satisfied without continual learning and growing. Yeshua taught in the sermon on the mount that believers need to have an attitude of constantly asking, seeking, and knocking (Matthew 7). There should be an attitude of openness to instruction that is carried within a mindset of vigilant persistence. This was not a new teaching to the Hebrew ear. In the book of…

MATTHEW S.O.A.P. ~ CHAPTER 7
Friday, 2/23/24
SCRIPTURE:
'“Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged.  "For you will be judged by the same standard with which you judge others, and you will be measured by the same measure you use." ~ Matthew 7:1-2
OBSERVATION:
I've heard this all my life: Judge not lest ye be judged...
...and I get that it applies to my judging other people "out of hand..."
...of being critical by my standards of what they should be doing...
...that their sins are worse than mine...
But what about my self-judgement? My self-criticism? My self-condemnation?
If I think and act like nothing can ever make me "good enough" - that I'm hopelessly trapped in my own sin and selfishness - then I am overlooking Jesus and what He did to make me good enough...
...and ignoring that "standard of measure" is not how I want to be judged...
APPLICATION:
Do not judge - period. Exclamation point. End of sentence. End of sentencing.
Be thankful for His sacrifice...
PRAYER:
Forgiving Heavenly Father... Thank You for Your Holy Spirit's leading and comforting, leading me to confessing my selfishness and sinfulness and feelings of self-pity and hopelessness in ever being good enough... and thank You for Your grace and Jesus's taking my shortcomings on Himself so that I can come before You more than good enough, to offer You the praise and worship You deserve...  May I continue to seek doing Your will instead of seeking my own... In His Name and for Your glory and honor...
For Him and you and yours...𝖌

What Kept Jesus from KNOWING the Ministers Referred to in Matthew 7:21-23?
I initially began writing this on 01/01/2024, but life happens, so I’m glad to be allowed to get back to this one today, 02/21/2024, as a reminder for  myself. Join me as I meditate upon Matthew 7:21-23 So… You know that verse in Matthew where Jesus said “Not everyone saying to me Lord, Lord will enter into the kingdom of the heavens but those who do my Father’s will.” Remember how Jesus…

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! Matthew 7:7-11
God promises an answer to the one who diligently seeks Him. Many of our passionless prayers are not answered for good reason, because it is almost as if we ask God to care about something we care little or nothing about.
God values persistence and passion in prayer because they show that we share His heart. It shows that we care about the things He cares about. Persistent prayer does not overcome God’s stubborn reluctance; it gives glory to Him, expresses dependence upon Him, and aligns our heart more with His.

Matthew 7:1-5
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
This verse specifically spoke to me, as a teenager many struggle with this problem, especially when gossip is involved, Yk what I mean, say you’re texting with a friend and your friend or you might tell a rumor about somebody, or a truth, either way the fact is that nobody has any right to judge another person about something, because you yourself aren’t perfect either, neither am I, neither is anyone. And nobody has any right to decide for themselves weather or not someone believes in God, or is saved, because that is their relationship with God and nobody else’s. Try to always be open minded and not be a hypocrite, because everybody makes mistakes, nobody is perfect. So lets try to treat others the way we want to be treated, just the way God wants us to ❤️❤️🫶

Develop a Virtuous Ethic (Matthew 7:15-20)
"We are are what we repeatedly do." Aristotle
“Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not…

I see what you did there, time is running out so that's why there is more spiritual warfare kind of like what GOD said like birth #pangs, we are all about to be birthed into eternity!!!
It is getting more intense & frequent & & & & GOD said we are getting brighter as it grows darker, because the dawn is about to break
Romans 13:12-14 - MSG - The night is about over, dawn is about to break.
Proverbs 4:17-19 | ¹⁷ since they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. ¹⁸ The path of the #𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗮𝘄𝗻, shining brighter and brighter until midday. ¹⁹ But the way of the wicked is like the darkest gloom; they don't know what makes them stumble.
JESUS is coming back soon!
Matthew 24:29-30 | ²⁹ Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be #darkened, & the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, & the powers of the Heavens will be shaken.’
³⁰ At that time the sign of the SON of MAN will appear in Heaven, & all the tribes of the Earth will mourn.
They will see the SON of MAN coming on the clouds of Heaven, with power and great glory."
Thank you for your videos on purity, it helped shake me from delving into that miry clay, & that reminds me of the clay feet of Daniel's vision, the final empire will be divided & not united in its resolve, per Joel Richardson..
Psalm 40:1-2 | I waited patiently for the LORD; HE inclined to me & 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝘆. ² HE lifted me up from the pit of despair, out of the miry clay; HE set my feet upon a ROCK, and made my footsteps firm."
Psalm 62:1 | In GOD alone my soul finds rest; my salvation comes from HIM.
[Deut 32:15; 2 Samuel 22:47; Ps 89:26; 95:1]
Psalm 89:26 | He will #call to ME, ‘YOU are my FATHER, my GOD, the #ROCK of my salvation.’
You even went there with the mountain being told to go into the sea.. a false rock, all other ground is #sinking sand [Matthew 7:24-27]
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Matthew 7:24-27 | ²⁴ Therefore everyone who hears these words of MINE & acts on them is like wise man who built house on the ROCK.
²⁵ The rain fell, the torrents raged, & the winds blew & beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because its foundation was on the ROCK.
²⁶ But everyone who hears these words of MINE & does not act on them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
²⁷ The rain fell, the torrents raged, & the winds blew & beat against that house, & it fell—and great was its collapse!”

Two Builders
This week I have been considering a passage in Matthew’s gospel that follows the conclusion of the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus offers a series of four scenes which accent the importance of a real-world response to what has been heard in the Sermon – and then warns of the consequences of failing to respond. This post addresses the fourth of the scenes: Two House Builders – Hearing and…

The Tragedy of Herod
It is a picture of the church. Read Mark 6:17-20 and see the American church in the tragedy that is Herod. Here’s the passage: 17 For Herod himself had sent and had John arrested and bound in prison on account of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip, because he had married her. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” 19 Herodias had a…

The way of holiness is narrow
The way of holiness is narrow
The path less traveled holds the greatest reward. Matthew 7:13-14 – “Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.” In reviewing the overarching themes of Yeshua’s Sermon on the Mount, many of the concepts overlap with one…
