I'm sure someone else has remarked on how each of the Phantom Thieves superficially resembles one of the stereotypical archetypes of high school kid (stereoarchetypes?), but I've been musing on that a lot recently. So I'm gonna ramble about it now, and I guess y'all just have to suffer through it and regret the fact that the universe spawned me. Huzzah!

Ryuji: Jock (or athlete).

Ann: Cheerleader (or glamour girl).

Yusuke: Art Club (literally art, although this could just as easily cover drama and band).

Makoto: Teacher's Pet

Futaba: Computer Geek

Haru: Preppy (rich).

Akechi: Debate Club.

Yoshizawa: Honors Student (sports and grades and well-behaved).

Last but not least, Joker: Gay Social Butterfly.

Home || Goro Akechi x Reader

Word Count: 995 Summary: You take home a little kitten, and you and Goro are now parents to this adorable little bundle of fur. Note: requested! fem reader! i didnt directly name the little kitten (only a few affectionate nicknames), so feel free to insert your chosen names!

Before meeting Goro, home was an unfamiliar concept for the both of you. Of course, there is the house that you go home to, and Goro had a house he goes home too. But the feeling of familiarity and comfort was nowhere to be found. The warm welcome followed with a loving parent's embrace... was not quite there. For the longest time, home was a distant concept, a pretender’s game, trying to blend right in by mimicking what you see and hear. Fake it ‘til you make it, they say. Maybe one day, when you say that you are ‘home’, you will finally believe it.

Until you found each other, and perhaps home was more than a house you go back to every night.

You snapped out of your trance when your classmate, quite literally, snapped their fingers in front of you. “So? Will you take her?” they asked, while holding a small kitten. She had white fur and black muzzle, and could fit in the palm of your hand.

When your classmate handed her to you, the kitten reached out and as you held her she placed her paw on you as if to say 'Don't let me go, please.'

Now you stand in front of your apartment door and bring her close to your face, "My little baby, you are going to see your father now. He just got home," you whispered. She opened her eyes and her head turned to the direction of the door. It was as if she knew what you were talking about. You giggled and knocked at the door using your foot.

You heard some shuffling inside, and after hearing footsteps approaching, the doorknob finally turned.

"My princess, did y-" Goro stopped after seeing the kitten you held in your arms, "Oh? Who's this?"

"This is our child!"

"So what should we name her?"

After telling the story of how you got the adorable little kitten to Goro and getting some old clothes you no longer need as a makeshift bed, you now settle in the living room with the kitten currently lying down and observing her parents.

"Why don't we name her after you?" Goro winked.

"But wouldn't that be confusing?"

Goro shrugged and held his hand out for the kitten. She turned around and placed her paw on it. Goro smiled.

"Aww~ She likes you! That's your papa, my little baby!" you cooed at her.

Goro blushed, "P-papa?"

"Yes! We are her family now. I'm her mama, which naturally makes you her papa!"

Goro's face turned even redder, and so he clasped a hand over his face and turned. It was embarrassing, but he very much liked the idea of playing house with you. A part of him feels guilty because he feels too happy. Is he even deserving of it? Before he could even go down the hole of dangerous thoughts, the kitten climbed over his lap. 'Papa, pay attention to me,' she seems to say.

Goro smiled and picked her up, snuggling her close. You scooched closer to the both of them and embraced them. Welcome home.

During the weekend, Goro had to work overtime. So you spent the whole day with your little baby. You got a long cloth, and tied it around your neck for a makeshift sling bag that could fit your little kitten.

She behaved the whole time while you shopped. You bought a few clothes for her, a bed, food, and other necessities she may need. A few people were in awe whenever she popped out of hiding, and a few kids waved at her.

As you were taking a short break from your shopping, your phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"My princess, how are you?"

"Oh, I am good! I went out to buy a few things for our little baby," you told him, and felt some stirring on your lap. The kitten seems to be hyper aware of you, inspecting the magical electronic box in your hands that has her father's voice.

"Ah, I wish I could be there, by the way don't buy any treats. I saw some on the way to work and I'm gonna pick up some before going home.”

And sure enough, when he got home that night, he brought home some sweets for you and snacks for your little kitten. He tried to quietly turn the lock of the door, as he was home late, careful to not wake you up if ever. He saw you lying down with the kitten on your stomach. He smiled, and committed the image to memory. It felt too good to be true.

When you went to school the following week, your classmate asked you about how the kitten was doing. You told them about how the kitten is settling in nicely, and showed a few pictures of them at home. Whether it be sleeping, playing, eating, after bathing… you have all the pictures. Your classmate seemed pleased.

After a long and tiring day, you stretch as you reach your apartment. You fished out your keys from your pocket, and as you opened the door you could hear some muffled talking. As you approach the living room, you see Goro on his arms and knees while holding a small toy mouse in front of your little kitten.

"You should learn how to hold this so you can protect yourself and mama while I am away," Goro says with a straight face, and your little kitten tries reaching for the stick.

You chuckle, "Goro what are you doing?"

"Playing with our baby?" Goro seemed genuinely embarrassed he was caught, but relaxed once you sat down beside him.

"Sounds intense," you giggled and gave him a quick kiss.

The kitten climbs onto your lap and settles in there. Goro handed you a plate of snacks he brought on the way home and placed a hand on your lower back.

"Welcome home, my princess."

Home. Yes.

You are home, finally.

Like, is it me, or do 11/20 Akechi who just shot a guy for the first time, and 2/3 Akechi who's seconds from dying for real, have the same expression?

I think it's the resting sadface again (see below for his default third semester sprite), and both times he isn't feeling much of anything. Which is why it's so easy for him to swing into one burst of crazy emotion or another—and so easy for him to swing right back out of it.

Like, compare interrogation room Akechi to engine room Akechi. Engine room Akechi has emotion and expression pouring from him. But not the 11/20 guy. We never, in fact, ever see Akechi behave the way he does in the interrogation room again, do we? Third semester Akechi is close to it, with the distance and (mostly) flat affect, but not quite there IMO.

... but another thing I think, when I'm like "but he just looks sad almost all the time??", is that the sprites, by definition, are always a character looking at Joker. I think random people (such as Sojiro in Leblanc on 1/2, or Yoshizawa up to the "ruthless kind of person" reveal) still get the detective prince sprites in the third semester.

Akiren calling Akechi cute embarrassing pet names

Two scenarios:

Platonic Rivals. So Akiren would be calling Akechi cute nicknames just to be a little shit.

Or Akeshu/ShuAke version. They are official boyfriends and they both have different views on public affection. Akechi would rather keep their relationship a secret, so no public affection (which is not unlike actual Japanese citizens).

Then you have Akiren,--- THIS TALL POLITE, SECRETLY UNHINGED HUNK OF A DETECTIVE IS MY LOVER. WE BECAME A COUPLE ON (Insert exact month, day, and time here), HE HAS BEEN MINE EVER SINCE. I AM AWARE HE'S A CELEBRITY AND YOU FANS CAN GUSH OVER HIM ALL YOU WANT BUT KNOW THAT HE IS TAKEN AND I TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN KNOWING I HAVE SEEN AND PASSIONATELY TOUCHED PARTS OF THIS MAN YOU CAN ONLY DREAM OF.

Couple Akeshu/ShuAke during a Palace or Mementos Shadow fight. Joker passes the baton to Crow. Crow gets in battle stance ready to tear the enemy to pieces when—-

Faintly in the background Joker enthusiastically cheers “FUCK ‘EM UP, BABE!”

This causes the mood to completely change. Crow’s manic expression drops instantly, replaced with blush.

The other Thieves are in the background, Ryuji the most confused “What did he just call him, what just happened???....”

Pet names abbreviated from name:

Akechi = Aki or Chi/Chi-Chi (What makes the “Chi-Chi” nickname even more hilarious is that's a babyish alternative word Japanese kids use to refer to their fathers. So it's a babyish version of “Papa”. Take Anya from Spy X Family English Sub for example)

Goro = Go-Go and Go-Chan

When in Metaverse Attire:

Goes for both Robin Hood & Loki/Black Mask form = Birdie

Specifically Loki/Black Mask Form =

Loki = Lulu, Lou, Kiki,

First time Akechi heard the above nicknames while in Black Mask form, he immediately locks eyes with Akiren and stares at him for a couple seconds, internally trying to talk himself out of sending the leader of the Phantom Thieves on an express trip to Velvet Room Purgatory. Ultimately fails and Kasumi and the rest of the Thieves have to physically restrain Akechi from murdering their leader.

In future instances, Akechi just responds by either tuning Joker out or “”CaLmLy”” correcting Joker that it's “Loki”. If Joker refuses to behave and continues, gentle route goes out the window and Akechi goes straight for the throat.

So basically referring to Black Mask Akechi by cute abbreviated nicknames is a speed run of “How fast can I get Akechi to lose his cool and try to kill me?”

The Thieves don't understand why Joker willingly puts himself in those deadly situations but Joker just weakly laughs, on the floor with probably a few fractured and broken bones. He just raises his arm up and forms a thumbs up, managing to wheeze out a “Worth It..”

(Abbreviated pet names in Romance scenario, Akechi wouldn't react by attempted murder, obviously. But just be incredibly flustered and embarrassed. The game for AkiRen in this case would be “How fast can I make my boyfriend a blushing mess?”. Especially since he seems to pull out the pet names at intentionally the worst times, when in public or mid-Metaverse battle)

I've been reading some works of Edogawa Ranpo lately and his character of Akechi Kogorō really reminds me of Akechi Tomua. I mean like the way he rants about how he figured out who the murderer is or overall in how he is behaving. Idk i just found it interesting

@disgruntled-twig I've posted about Akechi and Kuboyasu specifically a couple of times (uh. wait a few years lol) and a few more times as a general "all the Psychickers have a huge crush on Kuboyasu" ship haha! It's on my ship chart and everything XD

I just think it would be SO funny if the Psychickers simped for Kuboyasu HARD on main and he's just completely oblivious and thinks they're platonic besties for like. Years.

The Psychickers aren't even mad about it because Kuboyasu's internal limit for what is acceptable to do with homies has been highly skewed by being in gangs from all-boys schools (imo), so they get to cuddle with him whenever he comes over to hang out. They put on their cutest fits, fight over who gets to sit on his lap this time, and flirt like hell and Kuboyasu is just like "hahaha these guys are great!".

It's just a total clown show and it's so so funny to me personally. They'll eventually get him in the polycule but the journey is long and hilarious.

So this is a thing that will canonically happen in my Moving Forward universe (I think it's already been mentioned that the Psychickers have lil crushes on him in Extra Love Stories 2 iirc?) and I've doodled it because it tickles my funny bone so much:

But as for Akechi and Kuboyasu specifically, I totally think they could have chemistry, but they need to spend more time together for that to happen.

It seems like Akechi can definitely dial down his chatter if he wants to– note how he behaves himself with Saiki's mom! So I think once Akechi officially joins the friend group post-canon, he'll try to limit his monologuing at first to give them all a chance to get used to him lol. EXTREMELY difficult for him but worth the effort since these are his Kusuo-kun's beloved friends.

Kuboyasu will be getting more patient over time, plus he'll be able to put up with Akechi a lot more once he learns to trust him and isn't on the defensive. That's the shadow leader's homie after all, if Saiki trusts Akechi then that's enough of an endorsement for him!

Once they're comfortable around each other, I think they'd get along really well! Kuboyasu is curious and kind of a romantic by nature, so I think he'd be fascinated by Akechi's knowledge of the natural world (as seen when he identified the bug in the sweet potato episode).

Akechi's nature knowledge seems to be based mostly on encyclopedias vs personal experience, so it would be SO fun for them to go hiking and find all of these creatures and plants in nature together! I usually include Nendo and Mera in the hiking club, but there's no reason why they can't go on solo adventures together haha.

Also, we know Akechi likes Cyborg Ciderman, which is an advertisement disguised as cheesy action anime (is it an anime in-universe actually?? hsfjdlshfks hard to tell). So I bet he'd have fun watching action flicks with Kuboyasu, and Kuboyasu would definitely like watching anime with Akechi, he clearly likes Dragonball and I can see them talking fan theories and stuff!

Another point of connection, and I've posted about it before but I can't find it, could be self-defense. Akechi would definitely ask Kuboyasu for some fighting tips n tricks, so he doesn't have to resort to ...chemical warfare... any more. And Kuboyasu wants to be a teacher, so this is good practice, and they start practicing and sparring.

Akechi isn't physically strong, and he'll never be as fast as Kuboyasu, but his ability to predict the opponent's moves are uncanny and he's clearly good at strategy, so he might be able to dodge and land hits unexpectedly. Not enough to rival Kuboyasu but enough to keep himself safe and be a fun challenge!

Anyways, I think it's an interesting and fun ship! Plan to write some formally eventually, just have a LOT of WIPs already and I've been more on a comics kick lately than writing so we'll see lol. Thanks for the ask!!

Hello and good evening! May I please request pleasant detective boy akechi™ to non con reader? In the sense that ah yes we are together in a relationship so no means yes and get lost means take me I'm yours

He's been consistently living a lie for years now, and that means he does NOT like having his little fantasies about his Darling broken. Once they start dating, he'll immediately start to push things further and further: he'll talk about moving them into his apartment after like two weeks, getting annoyed and upset if they don't respond to his calls/texts in a timely manner, being extra possessive and jealous.

If he's kissing them and going further and they resist, he'll be confused and annoyed. They're together, aren't they? And they love each other, and he's been treating them so well. Can't they just stop being selfish for once?

He'll start out being sweet but strained as he tries to push past their discomfort, but if they don't give in then his mask slips real fucking quick. Obviously being nice and gentlemanly isn't working, so if they're going to be a tease and a prude and selfish then he's going to have to show them that they can't treat him that way.

He'll pin them down and harshly tell them that the more they struggle, the worse this will be. But if they're good, then he'll make them FEEL good. Even if they do behave from that point onward though, he's still very rough: grabbing them harshly, fucking them at a punishing pace, making them suck his cock and basically using their mouth like a pocket pussy, spanking them, leaving hickeys and marks on their skin, and forcing them to say they love him.

He might be sadistic enough to choke them a bit or at least put his hands on their throat. And he's mean whenever he fucks them like this. He'll smugly declare that they want this even if they want to act hard-to-get. They're his, and if he wants to use them like a good slut, then that's what they're going to do.

Depending on how much they behave he'll either provide a little bit of aftercare or none at all. If they were good and submitted quickly, then he'll cuddle them and be so condescendingly gentle. "See? Isn't it so much nicer when you're good to me? I knew you wanted me too." If they were defiant, then he'll coldly turn away from them after giving them one final slap on the ass. If they try to reach out to him for comfort, he'll say that if they want to be treated nicely then they need to do the same for him. Maybe if they beg and apologize and swear that they won't be so selfish and ungrateful to him ever again, he'll feel like forgiving them.

What is with the attitude for a reviewer the tone here is awfully condescending and dismissive like “oh this stupid game isn’t worth my time” like at least cvit had the decency to be thorough (well then again that’s not saying much

The reason the game is because it recognizes akechi despite everything he’s done is still a victim it doesn’t justify his actions but it lets us empathize with him as well as akechi’s jealousy over joker being loved while he’s alone don’t get me wrong he’s an asshole but he’s still human

Also I find it pretty hypocritical to praise light and then call akechi unrealistic when they both kill in your same blog

the thing that gets me is akechi knew from the start everything he did for shido he was doing to get close enough for revenge, but even knowing that and behaving accordingly when he sees shido's perception of him as a ruthless, mindless little puppet it shakes him to his core. its as if he wanted shido to see through it. the fact he can't handle the visual manifestation of exactly what he potrayed himself as... makes me feel ill luv x

i dont think its worked for him tbh i think thats probably why he got his ass kicked constantly as a kid and shipped himself off to england and doesn't seem to have much of a relationship with his grandparents anymore hes just such a dummy he cant see hes surrounded himself with burning bridges hes merrily set ablaze :( what a stupid....

its soo hard thinking about what kuusuke was like as an elementary schooler or middle schooler bc of how little info there is. like yeah he was smart but he also acted like a typical 4th grader making a fool of himself in few panels he was in the akechi time travel arc.

he totally did NOT have any friends but its also hard to picture how he behaved. kuusuke has completely different ideals from when he was 12 vs how he is when hes 19. while he's apathetic now, he seemed to think 'the world was better knowing who kusuo is for its sake' and though that may have been for revenge, there's a possibility he really believed this. he was like 9 when they last visited their grandparents all together, and he said they wouldnt be able to handle his secret. it really does just look like he was being an asshole and truly didnt think that. when kuusuke was explaining why he removed the right limiters abilities, he said two things. one, he was smarter than everyone (this might have not been the case when he was 12) and two, why should he expose someone hes close to for the world.

every time i think its one over the other, something else comes to mind that makes me think of his younger self differently. he behaved like a really mean and prideful kid and not just a smaller version of his 19 yr old self. would he have been jealous of people going to the play ground together? would he hear someone talking about his favorite anime and want to give his own input? in class how would he have acted in group projects and such?

#etc etc #when he was 12 he realizes he had to create the limiters so he could defeat them #that seems to be the sole reason of their creation because of his pridefullness. though the reason why he helps his brother changes #over time. theres a gradual shift in reasoning from birth to 12 yrs then to present #goose honks #ask

ohhh i really liked that fic excerpt you posted!! one thing that really caught my eye was how you described akechi having friendly connections at school (even though they're all built on lies and pretenses). i feel like that's something missing in a lot of other fanfiction on him, he probably would establish meaningless but society-approved links with other people and limit his curt attitude towards others. granted that might be more difficult once he gets into high school and establishes himself as a detective prince, since his semi-celebrity status would probably serve to make him less approachable..... but then again he could deliberately set himself as approachable despite his status? what do you think? i really enjoy all of your metas, thank you for writing and sharing <3

Thank you, anon! And YEAH, that was something I particularly noticed. In confidant 2, you can ask Akechi if he has friends:

Joker 友達がいない? Do you have no friends?

Akechi プライベートで会いたい人ってこと? puraibetto de aitai hito tte koto? As in, people I'd actively choose to see in my free time? As in, people I'd want to spend my free time with?

Akechi そういう意味なら君の言う通り、友達はあまりいないかな。 If that's what you mean, then no, I suppose I don't have many.

That's startlingly early on. It's like he's baiting Joker with this—who he's certainly observed out of the Metaverse, as well as inside it. "This guy collects people, he likes to feel needed, the sucker. So I'll let him collect me, and the rest will be easy". Oh, Akechi, if you only knew.

There's meant to be Word of God that Akechi has a very wide social circle, too—I need to be more careful about keeping track of this shit, lol. But the picture I got was that an awful lot of people think they're friends with Akechi, but he never thinks they are, and he never treats them as friends. I'm sure he has contacts pouring out of his ass, but the truth, given who and how he is, is clearly that he wouldn't want to spend time with any of those people on a bet. In the artbook, his personal trait is that he "gets distracted in conversation"—he doesn't listen to people when they talk to him, they're predictable; they bore him; he doesn't need to listen. He drifts off. The great thing about Joker, from the start, is that Joker does not bore him.

Also, don't overlook that Akechi's detective prince celebrity status is very recent. A lot of people think he's been famous for years, but actually his rise to fame overlaps with canon; his detective schtick goes on for years, but the celebrity angle seems very recent on 6/10. The interviewer even says "we brought him back because you liked him so much", and none of the PTs recognise him.

Akechi really only gets so famous because the Phantom Thieves (and Dad, of course, and let's not overlook Yaldabaoth) make him famous. Ann complains about this several times, the way he rides their coattails to fame.

As far as how Akechi behaves with e.g. his classmates at school, I think he comes and goes. He has that almost airheaded manner, sometimes, charming people, winking at them; I reckon he turns that on and off like a tap, like the way he flirts with Joker in the early confidant only to turn it off when he knows him better—when he likes him more and starts to confide in him. Overall, though, I'd tend to write his manner as disinterested—he wants to seem like a privileged high-achieving boy, not a sociopath. He wants attention, he wants people to notice him, but he doesn't want these boring nobodies clinging to him. He prefers to be alone, but he seems like a social butterfly—and of course, in high school, his "work" makes that so much easier.

If you talk to him, though, you probably go away liking him, and thinking he likes you. Could he get a date if he wanted one? Could he call people to hang out with, if he needed to? You bet your ass. He doesn't need attention from his peers in high school, though—he's getting it from Shido. He's getting recognition for his fake detective work. And his real job, his night job, alienates him further by its nature—it builds a sense in him that he's the one with power, far above the insects and sheep around him—ultimately the one in control, even as he knows he's being controlled.

tl;dr Akechi is not hurting for a social life in canon; he doesn't need or want one, and he's contemptuous of people who think that shit matters.

this is a hilarious ask. Its definitely not 7 hes too busy being a weird uncle/professor/master manipulator/silly little man to be notably gay. You know, for most of classic who the master & the doctors dynamic is like ……. Shockingly Lacking In Gay Tension?? Like, the third doctor & delgado!master (the first master to appear, the first doctor/master dynamic) are SUPER gay but every other doctor/master dynamic in classic who is more just “guys who hate each other” than “guys who hate each other (constantly 2 minutes from making out edition)”. Thank you NuWho for bringing back the emphasis on their “old besties” dynamic and, subsequently, the severe homosexuality of it all.

ANYWAY. Now that I’ve removed doctor who from the equation and then wrote a whole paragraph about it anyway. “Is Elim Garak or Goro Akechi more gay” is a difficult question, but instead of behaving like a normal human being i will take it completely seriously and approach it with my analytical mind. I already think the answer is going to be “they are equal levels of gay little freaks”, but I’ll put forth my best effort anyway.

First stream of thoughts: Garak was deliberately played as Gay For Bashir, and was so gay that the higher-ups sent word to Tone The Gay Down, and he ended up getting paired off with a random girl he had no chemistry with and who was also way too young for him just to prove how Not Gay he was. So??? I dont know where I’m going with this??? Im just gonna keep following the train of thought and see where it leads me. If I post a ten paragraph response to this silly ask with my extensive thoughts on the comparative homosexuality of fictional characters so be it. … I just had a bunch of thoughts that i want to write down but I just sat here thinking them instead of typing. You ever do that? Anyway, Akechi is kind of deliberately played to Fuel Shippers (sometimes. In English. …Yknow, i dont even know who akechis japanese va is, let alone anything about him….. anyway) and was so gay that atlus made him more gay in royal so???? Again i dont know what the point of this is.

Instead of actually trying to figure this out im gonna get on my garashir/akeshu parallels bs and say how funny it is that like. Both of their Meetings are initiated in the same way. Garak / Akechi randomly going up to Julian / Akira and just going “HEY YOU SEEM LIKE A GOOD INTELLECTUAL DEBATE PARTNER. YOU WANT TO HANG OUT WITH ME EVERY WEEK RIGHT?”

Anyway I think akechi might be more gay but I’m biased. Garak and akechi both have something wrong with them in a homosexual manner and it’s like the same thing wrong with them. Theyre basically the same. Not quite but almost. Conclusion? I have something wrong with me for liking them so much. Ren: "Checkmate." - one of his like only four voiced cutscene lines in p5 the game. really fucking good. "Nice to work with you, Ryuji!" - fucking amazingly charming little exchange from the p5 anime where ann playfully blows off ryuji, who gets grumpy about it, to which ren immediately chimes in. it's so fun and cute and full of personality.

Morgana: "We are the Phantom Thieves, and we're here to take your bride!" - great line, definitely should have been haru's and not his, but it's still fantastic. "I want to stay here forever!" - morgana coming clean right before he returns to the thieves legit makes me tear up. it's such a wonderful scene and this line lives rent free in my head.

Ann: "I will rob you of everything!" - final line of her awakening cutscene and it STILL gives me chills. "He called me pretty lady :D" - hearing this during Jose's introductory scene in royal made me laugh so hard i almost choked. it was so fucking funny and cute and just jdhfbgjhbj g-d. ann getting happy cause this tiny little baby boy was nice to her, just makes me grin.

Ryuji: "There's a place for you here too. Right next to me." - the chariot 9 confession scene that never was. g-d. canon ryuji has it fucking rough, crushing on a guy who is Contractually Obligated to be heterosexual. anyway this scene is great and this line is great. "Stop looking down on me with that stupid smile on your face!" - another awakening line that just fucks so incredibly hard. it's really good shit.

Yusuke: "No matter how often I may lose my way or stumble on our path...I will always return." - Yusuke's third semester awakening scene was probably the only section of his canon characterization that i really liked? but boy howdy was it good. it was REALLY good.

Makoto: "Don't get all cocky because I normally behave myself. I am DONE playing nice." - yet ANOTHER awakening line that fucks severely.

Futaba: It's impossible to pick one specific line for this slot but I'll just say every single line Futaba has in P5S between battles and for treasure and stuff. She's a constant delight, literally throws out meta references to the series' MUSIC "Bring on the mass destruction!" "Wanna give 'em a last surprise?" it's fucking amazing djhfbgjh. and her MENU lines??? she makes autistic noises every time you open her part of the menu!!! biggest grin

Haru: I've said some of my favorite haru lines in a previous ask today but if i had to pick a specific line i liked from her cool moments in Scramble... "No matter how many times you fall, you can always get back up and start again!" - throwing mariko's own words back at her, giving the same pep talk mariko gave her when she was a child. it's sweet and cliche and i love it.

Kasumi: "You're telling me I'm not cutting it? As if I don't know that better than anyone!" - another awakening line that gives me such fucking chills aaaaa g-d. so fucking good. Laura Post did fucking AMAZING with this.

Akechi: Honestly, the entirety of the boiler room scene could go here. I don't think I could quote it by heart or anything, but it's damn close to that level of rent-free djhfbgjhb. Especially "So how!? How can someone like you have something I don't!?" fucking kills me every time. g-d. insane in the brain.

Crow: I've known ever since we met at the orphanage. She wouldn't have been treated the way she was, or called those strange names if she were a normal child. But it seems to me that the poor thing didn't realize at the time, either. That she was born with rarest and most destructive mutation known to man. Not to mention how she behaved in the Metaverse.
