bro if you like the aesthetics of tos I think you'd probably like deep space nine-- it's not quite as vibrant as the original but it has the spirit, more so then any of the other shows like tng which were kind of drab looking

i feel like i’m obligated to watch deep space 9 because 1) sisko and 2) it was my art teacher’s favorite of the post-tos series, and his taste is consistently good... and if it’s in the same spirit of tos then it’s at least worth a cursory watch. i’ll have to finally get around to it this summer if i can!

Okay, so I head canon

•Toby itches himself a lot, maybe outta anxious habit, paranoia or it's just cuz homeboy doesn't shower ENOUGH. Eugh

•He drinks shit straight outta the carton, do not trust that man with ur carton of milk or orange juice

•Since he has CIPA I assume he has a very hard time realizing if he's hurt as he can't rlly feel pain. So he's paranoid checking over his body in hopes he ain't dying

•another headcanon that goes with the CIPA related one, he's very good at existing in most climate environments, mainly because it's hard for him to feel pain so being in the cold or hot weather doesn't rlly bother him

(Other then if he doesn't watch himself he might not realizing he's dying due to the elements)

•dudes an asshole everytime he wakes up, no remorse. Let homeboy FUCKING SLEEP!!

•he doesn't get enough sleep AT ALL. Not only due to PTSD related nightmares, but migraines and his physical tics as well.

•he has to tie his shoes often because he doesn't tie them correctly the first time
