i’m not going to directly RB or send an ask to the person because fuck direct confrontation, but to the reylo shipper who has an alligator as part of their url and got real salty at the MF ship tournament, I hope you realize you’re the reason why that entire fandom has such a majorly bad rep and you’re directly contributing to why people hate it and the ship.

Was it not the best idea for the mods to tag every post with reylo? Sure, you could make that argument, especially since this is a joke-y bonus round. Is it spam/harassment for the tag? No. Because every post contained reylo as a main focus. This is no different from a tournament blog for a specific fandom going “which song from our fandom is the best?” proceeded by 24 posts all tagged with the fandom. It’s not harassment, that’s how tags on tumblr work.

Additionally, the argument that “no one in the fandom would vote” is dumb. It’s a best ship tournament. Yes, this is a joke-tourney, but you can still absolutely fucking vote for reylo, why wouldn’t you. Hell, I voted for reylo at points because I thought the ship was better than others in the bonus round.

In other words: either block the blog or go out and touch grass. You getting pissy over one blog “ruining the tag” is stupid.
