My Ultimate Reading List v2.0 Blurbs Part 2

A/N: As some of you have heard or seen, My Ultimate Reading List (in it’s original version) has crashed on desktop because of (as I realised trying to restore it) too big number of links, so I’m basically recreating the whole thing in a new format. This post goes for 2nd part of Blurbs. Here’s the 1st. There’s one more post for One Shots and Serieses. I’m really sorry for the tag notifs for the people who has been tagged already in a previous version. Hope it’s not much of an inconvenience. I’m also not going to delete the first version of the list, as it’s been liked and reposted a lot of times, it’s still working on mobile, so some might still use it. But all the updates are going to happen only on these two posts, which I’m going to put in my bio instead of an old one.

So, this list was created because of my crazy urge to reread favourite fics and blurbs from time to time. It was made purely for me, but if it helps you to find a fic or a writer you’d love, I’d be only happy. I tried to make navigation easy. For blurbs links go to my reblogs, for oneshots and full lengths links go to the original posts. I try to check links from time to time, but if you see that some of them don’t work, please, hmu.

Hey ho, listen up angel bros

So here’s what I know from my memory fragments so far

I don’t have many memories of my “beginning”. So far the most I know is that the human form I used most often was a skinny white boy with brunette hair, green/blue maybe hazel eyes, I know they were at least vivid. And I know I had large pure white wings.

I almost never left earth. And I loved to shift into all kinds of creatures and animals and run around like crazy. I would frequent this one wolf pack with a large white alpha female and just leave and come back when I pleased. Lots of fun memories then.

I also had a male lover for a while, I’m not completely sure he was an angel, I’m almost certain though. All I know for sure is that it didn’t last too terribly long, either because of his death or him breaking up with me. I think the breakup was just really devastating :/

The latest memories I have take place in/after the war. So warning, this could be triggering, I describe by wings being pulled off so...

I remember being oblivious when the war started and when I was told about it by, what I think was my ex-lover maybe idk, I tried to ignore it. I kind of hid from it because I’d been on earth so long I figured no angels really ever visited me. But from what I know Michael or some big shot with an M name saw I wasn’t fighting for them, found me and dragged me back to heaven. I pleaded and begged for forgiveness but he thought I was working for the other side and had committed some kind of treason of heaven or something. Because so many of his brethren were being slaughtered, he showed no mercy. Right then and there he through me face down to the ground, stamped his boot to the middle of my back, grabbed hold of my wings and ripped them off.

“Scum” is what he yelled as he through me from heaven.

I remember waking up from falling and some stuff after that, but it is to vague to say any of those memories are for sure yet.

Whoof, That was a ride, please hmu if you think you’re an angel from my past, or even a Therian or myth-kin I met along the way :)

OPTION ONE: I’m a sucker for a good ‘ol fashioned friends to lovers plot. Lydia left Seattle, WA when she was 18 years old to pursue a career in fashion. She’s only been home for holidays since, never really staying for extended periods of time because she’s always had more going on here. In this option, this character would’ve been a good friend to her growing up (or maybe a friends older brother in the case where you’d have a character to make older), and I imagine they haven’t seen each other in awhile. For whatever reason that’s brought him here, he’s moved to New York City; it could be very recent, or within the last year and they just haven’t run into each other because they lost touch. Lydia’s divorce is pretty fresh still, so cue the rekindling of friendship and romance at the same time. Perhaps one of them always liked the other one growing up? Or both ways? There’s lots of room to play here! OPTION TWO: The second option is based off of “Can You Keep a Secret?” - a book and a recently made movie. In this case, he wouldn’t be her boss, but perhaps he’s someone else in the designing world? Or just someone she met on a plane while coming home from a trip, and now they keep running into each other. I’m pretty open with this one! I just loved the storyline, and Lydia would definitely be the type to spill her guts while she thinks she’s about to die.
