A completely Arabic playlist for our Egyptian superhero, Layla El-Faouly 🦸🏽‍♀️ Features themes of utter badassery, childhood pleasures, healing grief, strength of the soul, and gentle adoration 💖

To all my Arabic lovelies out there, I tried my best to put out a 100% Arabic playlist (mostly Egyptian, I think. correct me if I’m wrong) because it’s such a big deal to have this OBVIOUSLY Arabic badass character represented in Marvel. So, I didn’t want to diminish that by putting in any songs sung primarily in English. It also led me to discover so much new music that I absolutely love sooo. I hope you enjoy! ❤️

A work in progress, it will grow, This was way too long to share into only one post so I've separated it into four parts.

Part 1

That's definitely a Jake song. This fits Jake taking over and his mindset when he does so so well. It's almost like he's speaking to Marc 'give me the wheel' 'I'm not a glorious disaster [like you]'.

This one is mostly the vibe and a couple lines that fit them.

That's definitely a Layla x Marc song. It's Layla talking to Marc.

And the 'maybe not from the sources you have poured yours, maybe not from the directions you are staring at' is about their Mom's love that has been taken away and how they still loved her.

This is a Jake pov song. At least how I initially saw Jake and still do. Jake to me has only two modes : very mellow and detached or berserk. Nothing in between (yet). It will be one of his struggles to deal properly with other emotions.
