there's more info about how the names were complied under the read more, but just to get an idea of how vile the blog is, i just want to quickly mention that the first prize offered in their pinned post, "eight hours of memi mamtera," is the song used in the viral israeli tiktok trend of kidnapping, humiliating, and torturing palestinians in the west bank.

and the "grand prize," which needs no explanation, is "all of palestine! for free!"

some quick info: all the names here have either approvingly replied to, reblogged from, or liked one or more of @/israel-palestine-bingo's posts. for likes, i've only gathered names that appear under their original posts; mostly ones that have not been reblogged, and some with 2-3 reblogs that have not left the immediate sphere of zionists. i've also made sure that these are blogs who have either liked more than one posts from them, or who frequently reblogs from other zionists.

cw there is a scene where Merlin gets a snake shoved into the back of his neck (which can then control him because magic) and obviously various failed attempts at assassinations

When Merlin falls into Morgana's hands, he becomes a deadly weapon in her fight for supremacy. Using ancient magic, she pits friend against friend to create the perfect assassin. An oblivious Arthur is in great danger. Will anyone notice Merlin's unusual behavior before he does the king some serious harm?

merlin (whose main role in the show is saving arthur's life over and over again) is enchanted to try to kill arthur. he makes a hilariously bad assassin and it's fun watching other characters react to the personality change, as well as getting to see some badass merlin and the whole scene with morgana in the beginning was so interesting to watch. he disguises himself as a mean old man so he can say what he really thinks! and the costumes are fantastic in this episode particularly

The West Wing: 2.22 Two Cathedrals

As the Haitian army continues their seizure of the American embassy there, Bartlet and the staff prepare for the announcement that Bartlet has M.S. and the President must decide whether or he will seek re-election. As the funeral for Mrs. Landingham takes place and the announcement draws nearer, Bartlet thinks back to his past in search of the answer to the question everyone is asking: Will he seek re-election?

DuckTales THEORY: Team Who?

Hello Duckblr! We know that in DuckTales 2017, Huey, Dewey and Webby have their own definite cliques, but what if this idea were to extend to each of the six Duck children in hypothetical future seasons?

TLDR: If DuckTales kept going on, we would have seen more Louie/Doofus/Goldie episodes. May's interrogative side can blend her in with the Rescue Rangers.

Team Science (Huey)

Huey's group of allies usually revolves around working on scientific breakthroughs and his hero, Gizmoduck. Huey stories would usually involve these specific characters:

Despite being shown to be a charmer in the show, Louie falls flat when it comes to making secure friends, especially when it's in his nature that he is the 'evil triplet' of the Duck boys. However, the cunning antihero, Goldie O'Gilt is quite fond of him. Louie stories would definitely involve these specific characters:

Despite the wishes of her current guardian, Donald Duck, I could see May get into contact with her ilk, also experimented on by FOWL - no other than the Rescue Rangers themselves!

Perhaps the Rescue Rangers have found a larger FOWL experiment gone rogue and they need a heroine around their size to help bring the experiment to justice.

Team Sports? Team Wellbeing? Team Theatre? Team Adorable? It seems that poor June is the only one I can't think of for a team.

By process of elimination, the only frequent group of protagonists without a child character to support them are the gods/goddesses of Ithaquack.

Bum Bum Ghigno, an everyday person from the comics might help her appreciate the normal and might draw parallels between the clone twins and his relationship with his brother.

I'd love to put the Idle Hour Club from Donald's first ever cartoon somewhere, but those stories wouldn't be fun.

Is Wanda a reality warper or was that just the Life Force?

Just as a reminder, I have a detailed breakdown of Wanda's powers in this post.

Wanda has the capacity for reality warping because of her status as a nexus being, but it's not supposed to be part of her "normal" powers that she uses on a regular basis, and it also comes with specific costs and limitations. People get confused about this because, in 2004, House of M and Disassembled threw all of the established lore about Wanda's powers out the window and insisted that she was just an ultra-powerful mutant reality warper with "schizophrenia". The Life Force retcon in Children's Crusade was an attempt to bring the character back in line with the way her powers are supposed to work, and also restore her agency and dignity. Unfortunately, people still conflate chaos magic with reality warping.

Here's the simplest explanation I can manage:

As a nexus, Wanda is a natural conduit for magic, which means that she can channel almost any kind of power from any source, and she has an integral connection to the fabric of reality and the multiverse. She is able to subliminally alter reality by channelling high levels of magical power and funneling it through that connection. "Subliminal" is the key word, here-- she very rarely has conscious control over this power. It comes with a lot of risk, too-- in the past, Wanda was easily overwhelmed and would experience mental breaks with reality, putting herself and others at risk. She also becomes very vulnerable to possession and outside influence.

Think of it like an aperture-- once she opens herself up this power, anything can come through, and it can be hard for her to stop. Before HoM, we saw this with her babies and Mephisto, as well as Immortus in Avengers West Coast, Lore in Scarlet Witch (1995) and Morgana in the late-90s Avengers.

So, TL:DR, yes, reality warping is one of Wanda's natural abilities, but it's very circumstancial, and it's not supposed to be something she can do freely.

Guilt, heartbreak, mask, and mistake for Wonderland in Oz’s Dorothy and Alice?

Dorothy:

Guilt: I say Dorothy’s two biggest guilts were ones she couldn’t control (which says a lot about her character) that being scaring her aunt and uncle when she disappeared, and murdering Morgana (wicked witch of the west). When she returned to Kansas she did her best to not have her aunt and uncle worry, including dropping the topic of oz when they didn’t believe her. Like in the og Oz they are her main driving point-tho she’s loyal to Oz enough to put there needs above her returning home. And she never wants to kill again, no matter the villain. She accepts her guilt and always tries to repent for it.

Heartbreak: Dorothy’s parents died when she was 5. She has little memory of them but mourns the relationship she could have had with them. Her heart broke in two when she had to leave Oz, despite the dangers there she had formed her most important relationships there with scarecrow Tin man and lion. She has caught feelings for a certain Ozian but lacks the courage to even acknowledge them let alone confess.

Mask: Dorothy doesn’t intentionally hide her feelings. She’s naturally upbeat but her insistence others are more important and her belief in overcoming anything could suggest she has a bit of toxic positivity. She tends to hide/push down her anger tho.That being said she’s comfortable being vulnerable with Alice and the trio.

Mistake: While it deeply upset her Dorothy does not call Morgana’s death as a mistake but a tragic necessity to save her friends, the Winkies, and all of Oz. The Big Mistake she makes happens in my webcomic’s timeline so I can’t spoil it here. Odds are you’ll be like “Oh, Dorothy I understand where you’re coming from but that was SUCH a bad idea.”

Alice:

Guilt: Alice when the story starts, has only ever felt guilty for causing her sister distress. As the comic progresses she will say/do things to feel guilty for. But like-spoilers. But she’ll do her best to remedy them.

Heartbreak: Alice’s heart broke the moment she returned from Wonderland and her family stopped loving her, calling her crazy and shipping her away to America. Her heart will break a couple more times in the comic. But hopefully she’ll have the courage to let it be mended.

Mask: when moved to the academy where she meets Dorothy Alice tries to wear a mask of indifference and normalcy, trying to hide how wonderland changed her. The mask will pretty quickly fall off when she enters Oz

Okay but you know what would be really funny for a magic reveal?

They’re in a clearing, storm clouds rolling in, your average climax weather.

We’ve got Merlin and Morgana staring at each other Wild West showdown style, right?

Then Merlin just breaks the tension all, “Hey I’m getting some serious deja vu here. Is that just me?”

The knights are all flabbergasted and even Morgana’s glare softens a bit in confusion.

And then Lancelot, who’s alive because I said so, knows about the Nimueh thing, and knows that Merlin is The Most Dramatic Warlock To Walk The Earth and is probably leading up to something, is all, “Hey what do you mean?”

And Merlin’s like, “Oh, y’know, the ominous clearing, me standing here, a high priestess over there, a storm coming in…”

His eyes flash unmistakably golden and a lightning bolt one-hit KO’s Morgana.

“OH! AND THAT! THE LIGHTNING!”

Persona 5 IRL Stuff

The entry and exit to each floor of Mementos is based on the appearance of train stations, and the stamps you collect for Jose are seemingly the game's version of train stamps lol.

I'm not sure if this is still true, but train stamps were introduced to me as something that smaller kids will collect when they travel with their families, so it makes sense to me that the NPC associated with them is also a kid. As an adult tourist, I've never bothered with train stamps cause you really have to go out of your way to find some of them and when I'm at a train station my ass is trying to go somewhere lol. I suppose that even in real life, some of those stamp locations must feel like they're random spawns.

I have absolutely bothered with red shrine seals, though. Maybe Persona 6 will have the protagonist collecting those.

Ryuji takes you to a ramen restaurant in Ogikubo. Based on it being in Ogikubo and the appearance of the restaurant in-game, it's modeled after Marufuku Chinese Noodles near Ogikubo Station. The sign in-game just says "Chinese Noodles" without the store name. I'm not sure if this is a famous restaurant or maybe it's just one that Atlus employees like to eat at lol.

Ryuji also takes you to a monjayaki restaurant in Tsukishima during his Confidant. You go to Tsukishima specifically because Tsukishima has a line of restaurants called Monja Street that specializes in, you guessed it, monjayaki.

Akechi introduces you to a jazz bar in Kichijoji called Jazz Jin. The outside appearance seems to be based on Some Time which is also located in Kichijoji. Only the outside resembles what's in-game, though. The inside is different.

Yongenjaya isn't a real place in Tokyo, but it seems to be a renamed version of Sangenjaya - san means 3, yon means 4. I've not been to Sangenjaya, though I've heard that details like the laundromat, even down to the vending machine, looks nearly the same as it does in-game. (If you are interested in doing Persona 5 tourism around Tokyo, I've heard that the Sangenjaya locals do not appreciate Persona 5 tourism or related loitering in this area.)

Shibuya Station is pretty much accurate with how it is IRL. The green train car that you visit Tora at has been moved since the game came out, but the dog statue of Hachiko (or Buchiko as its known in game) is there, the 1000 stairs you climb to get to the Ginza Line, etc, is also all accurate.

When you touch base with Ohya, you unlock Shinjuku. The movie theater in-game is called Cult 9, which is based on an actual movie theater in Shinjuku called Wald 9. The other areas in Shinjuku seem to be a condensed version of Kabukicho (or Kamurocho, if you've played Like a Dragon).

Futaba wants to go shopping in Akihabara and Nakano. Akihabara you've probably already heard about as Nerd Haven. She also talks about visiting Nakano, likely to go shopping at Nakano Broadway which is home to a bunch of Mandarake 2nd hand anime/etc goods stores.

The "huge pancake" that Morgana was talking about is how Tokyo Dome looks from the outside. The pancakes he's comparing it to are the thicc souffle-style fluffy jiggly pancakes that you can get at various restaurants. (Also probably what Akechi thinks of when he hears delicious pancakes lol.)

The other areas and things, I'm really not sure there's much to say about them.

Ann takes you to Harajuku cause she wanted to eat sweets (this is really relatable btw)

Meiji jingu is also real and located near Harajuku

The buffet Ann takes the guys to is the Marble Lounge, but I believe it's since been remodeled

There's multiple museums in Ueno

There's a Catholic church in west Kanda but afaik the inside looks different than in-game

Inokashira Park is real and has swan boats and stuff

Ikebukuro's planetarium is in Sunshine City Mall

Chinatown is real but it's much further than the map makes you think (it's in Yokohama)

Odaiba Seaside Park is another real location

Miura Beach is also real, way down south past Yokohama

Jimbocho is indeed where you'd go to buy books
