This surely was a win for England, who had found themselves at 121 for 5, and then Davidson and Sciver made their six-wicket partnership reaching 207 runs where Davidson was out to the last ball of the day. Sciver scored 119 runs, her previous score was against Australia at Taunton in 2019. Davidson Richards broke her record of scoring runs from 173 balls and became the second England woman player to score a century in her first Test innings, after Enid Bakewell in 1968.
Davidson, 28-year old, is, however, only the second male or female England Test debutant to score a hundred and take a wicket after WG Grace back in 1880. The women’s test was under South Africa’s control until they bowled their spinners before the second new ball in which England milked runs and the tourists were inefficient with the fresh Dukes later in the evening. South Africa surely took control before the England counter. Visit Hare

Women's Third ODI Match: England vs Pakistan 2024
As the curtain rises on the eagerly awaited climax in the 3rd ODI clash between England and Pakistan the thrill of the moment is palpable. Engulfed in a wave of anticipation spectators await in suspense. England's superiority shines through notably with a convincing 37run triumph in the initial match solidifying their position as the preferred contender.
With May 29th 2024 swiftly approaching cricket devotees are filled with anticipation eagerly awaiting the dramatic twists and turns to see if Pakistan will defy expectations or if England will extend their commanding lead further.
The Batting Prowess of England: A Power to Be Considered
England's batting arsenal flaunts both seasoned prowess and explosive potential. Tammy Beaumont and Heather Knight stand pivotal atop the order, with Beaumont's relentless pursuit of runs shaping crucial moments.
Nat Sciver-Brunt and Alice Capsey fortify the middle with a blend of stability and attacking flair. Capsey's dynamism and Sciver-Brunt's versatility add depth. Amy Jones' adept wicket-keeping and seasoned batting offer valuable support, making her a key asset throughout the lineup.
Can Pakistani bowlers upset the apple cart with their attack?
Sandhu's elegant swinging prowess and Dars expert spin mastery face a stern test against England's formidable batting onslaught. The recent standout performance by Sandhu claiming three crucial wickets showcases her immense talent while Dars strategic acumen in dismantling partnerships remains pivotal.
Securing early breakthroughs and maintaining disciplined death bowling can disrupt England's middle order decisively tipping the scales in Pakistan' favor.
Pakistan's Batting: Rising for the challenge
Pakistan's batting particularly the top order comprising players like Javeria Khan and Omaima Sohail needs to convert beginnings into significant scores. They faced difficulties against England's bowling in the first match. A solid initiation will allow Bismah Maroof and Nida Dar to flourish.
Muneeba Ali a promising wicketkeeper batter shone brightly in the previous match showcasing immense potential. Should she persist in playing freely and nurturing that talent Pakistan's momentum could receive a substantial boost.
Conditions of the Pitch and Weather
May 29th dawns with the sun a breeze whispering gently a paradise for swing bowlers at the outset. However as the game progresses the pitch tends to flatten leveling the playing field for both teams batters later on.
Prediction: It will be a close race, with England winning.
With the current momentum in play it seems like England holds the upper hand; nevertheless Pakistan's batting prowess could significantly alter the outcome.
From my perspective I envision a tightly contested match with England having a slight advantage for a narrow win possibly securing the victory within a 2030 run margin.
Important Things to Look Out for
England's top order firing: Pakistan will be under pressure after a bright start.
Important England batsmen are removed early by Pakistan's bowling: The game can be changed by early wickets.
A powerful blow from a Pakistani batsman may put England behind the times.
The agility of England's fielding: making their catches and forcing run-outs can be vital.
The forthcoming 3rd ODI simmers with anticipation as England sets its sights on clinching the series juxtaposed with Pakistan's determined stand to thwart a whitewash highlighting the high stakes of this thrilling encounter.
