Underutilized bit in LOTR, I feel, is how deeply out of his depth Boromir is within the Fellowship.

And by that I don't mean that he's the weakest or the stupidest or any of that, but rather that –against all appearances– he is the sole member of the Fellowship who is a Regular Normal Human, and he would have such a shocker slowly figuring all that out over the course of their journey. I mean:

Age. Legolas and Gimli wouldn't surprise him, since the lifespan of elves and dwarves seems commonly known to be way longer than humans, but Gandalf? The hobbits? None of these ages work as advertised and when he goes down to sit and commiserate with Aragorn about being the only Men in the company and how weird this all must be for them both Aragorn has to cough into his fist and mutter "Eighty-seven." "WHAT?!" (Yes, I know that Gondor keeps records of their Númenórean ancestors and said ancestors' extended lifespans, but consider this: the blood has thinned so much in Gondor that practically nobody lives longer than regular humans nowadays, and Boromir is canonically the jock in a family of scholars. He had to look up what/where Rivendell was after he got Faramir's Prophecy Dream, for god's sake.)

Bilbo. The entire Fellowship except Boromir has a personal relationship with Bilbo, and Boromir has neither seen nor heard of this creature in his life. Everyone else is starting off this quest with significant background knowledge of Bilbo's life and The Hobbit, whether having been told by Bilbo himself or having had family members personally involved at the time it occurred, and Boromir, again, has no clue what they're all on about.

Moria. Dwarves presumably have some built-in sensory adaptions for living underground, elf eye physics are bullshit, hobbits are stated to be far more comfortable/better navigating underground than most races, Gandalf is an Istar, and Aragorn has been hunting and tracking in various ungodly locations for most of his eighty-seven years. This means that, once again, Boromir is the only Normal Person trying to Normally Navigate a mostly-pitch-black cave system while everyone else side-eyes him for bumping into walls all the time.

Elves can sleep with their eyes open. This is admittedly not the most common thing among the Fellowship, but please imagine Boromir, still struggling to understand the fact that he's surrounded by nonhuman beings who have no shared concept of the passing of time, rolling over at 2AM to see Legolas bluescreening contentedly up at the sky, and then everyone acts like he's the weird one when he starts freaking out about it because all of them are used to traveling with/know more about elves than he does.

Even just remembering stuff off the top of my head, Boromir must have had such a weird time adjusting to being the only normal human being among the Fellowship before he, y'know. Died.

(Plus I can totally imagine Merry and Pippin giving him shit for "Well, if you're the only normal one amongst nearly a dozen people, then that's not very 'normal', is it? Maybe Men are the odd ones out and everybody else is normal.")

FANTOCCIO FACTS POST (from screenshots i found in my own interests server)

- His name is italian for puppet, but he pronounces it incorrectly and insists it’s the correct way to say his name if anyone else points it out and says he’s wrong.

- He’s not from Italy, obviously. Goes to show. But Ash imagines he knows a bit of italian. (“Not enough Italian to say his name right.” - Katie.)

- Fantoccio has a pet shark named Sharkspeare! Mentioned in the song at the line “‘Cause Sharkspeare’s looking mean!”

- Fantoccio has to make all his own props, set pieces, clothes, etc in the theatre.

- Would never smoke, and would hate being around it/people who’re doing it actively.

- Fantoccio was made by Ash as a fan OC for the game, and this (as far as I’m aware) is what got them hired onto the game, cause Katie loved their ideas so much.

- Fantoccio is not very good with kids.

- Fantoccio’s favorite food is churros. This came from the fact Ash once had a dream about him infodumping about them cause he loved them so much, so they made it canon.

- Don’t worry, he can indeed taste things normally. No traditional taste buds, but some, nonetheless. Same goes for touch!

- Fantoccio is canonically autistic, having many traits of himself heavily projected from Ash, themself.

- When asked what his meltdown triggers could be, Ash thought that some might be: too much touching, being without his hat, or one of his props breaking.

- Fantoccio likes wearing dresses! Wears them if he feels like it or if the role calls for it, during a play.

- Ash thinks he’d ADORE snow.

- Fantoccio would 100% love spicy italian from subway.

- Fantoccio plays violin!

- Fantoccio would chant “I’m sleeping” when struggling to fall asleep, like his own version of counting sheep.

- He would NEVER say the Earth is flat.

- He’d be the “How do you do that” of that one keysmash meme, if paired with Barnaby.

- Ash once said that Fantoccio is like Duck from Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared.

- When doing a personality type test (and actually answering truthfully instead of in character) for Fantoccio, he ended up with ENTJ-T, Commander. Fanto would answer untruthfully on some questions, like if he ever gets insecure (“PFFFT NO THE ANSWERS NO”).

- He can go uwu in the bbu lore, but he’ll hate it. (“THIS IS STUPID!!!”)

- Fantoccio would apparently be a “mac and cheese FIEND.”

- He’d hate pranks (specifically a hand zapper in this case), because they’re unexpected. (“NEVER DO THAT AGAIN”)

- This also means he’d never troll anyone, cause he feels above that.

- Fanto would HATE hearing people crack their knuckles, like Ash does.

- Fantoccio loves to carve wood. Specifically only by hand, that’s how much he loves it! He carved the two giant wooden hands used in his battle, but his favorite thing to carve is ducks.

- Fantoccio is very intent on ONLY eating the few foods he knows he likes.

- If he were an ice cream, he’d be coffee flavor! Which is ironic, because Ash has also said that it’d probably be terrible to give Fantoccio caffeine.

- Fantoccio would LOVE chicken nuggets.

- Hates pizza, though. Too greasy and messy.

- Would enjoy having an ipad “a little too much. He would be super confused at first but once he learns how to use it DO NOT TAKE IT AWAY”. (kinda like Peridot from Steven Universe)

- He would like spruce wood in Minecraft, but also acacia “just to look at.”

- Ash adores pirates, so so does Fantoccio!

- He has no nose, so no sneezes!

- Appreciates detail as much as Barnaby does.

- Fanto would love birds!

- Fanto is not capable of curse words. Sad.

- Fantoccio would COLLAPSE trying to lift someone without his powers.

- He stims by patting his face and spinning around. Fidgets with his hands in concepts for his standing idle animations, because he’s uncomfortable with standing and prefers floating.

- He’d favor Murder Mystery!

- His wood is alive and can grow like a real boy! (if you’ve seen my post being reblogged around, lol)

- He lives in the lost city of magic, which is abandoned and overrun my magical zombies who used to be magic users, now with a terrible curse. So he lives mainly in his theatre. He’s not trapped, anymore, like his old story!

- Fantoccio’s powers are based around telekinesis and teleportation. It’s how he moves his body around!

- He used to have a plush toy rabbit he carried around, when he was younger, seemingly. It’s unclear where that went, when he got older.

- Fantoccio’s been locked up in this city for 15 years, since he was 8. Completely isolated (save for those zombies, I suppose)! When Billie comes along, though, he’s so excited to have something new to play with!

- Fanto’s song is inspired by Weird Al. Like 90% of this game is, of course /lh. He was also inspired by the pied piper!

- He’d dislike the idea of seafood. (“He’d be like “Why would anyone want to eat a fish?!” And cover Sharkspeare’s nonexistent ears like “Don’t listen to them!””)

- The red feather in his hat is also used as a pen!

- Fantoccio is a being of pure magic, having an entire magic gem be his whole life source. This means he can use magic endlessly without getting tired (I believe)!

- Fantoccio is 23, he/him, and pansexual.

- His face is made using magic. It disappears when/if he’s magic-less.

- Fantoccio can absolutely feel pain.

- When it comes to nature, Ash said he’d kinda be like Rarity from MLP:FiM, but certain kinds of nature he’d still really love. He’d really dislike walking through the wild or camping in general, but loves things like snow or flower fields. Just depends!

- Fantoccio would main Bowser in Mario Kart.

-In terms of favorite Halloween treats, Fantoccio would like anything chewy and fruity (no chocolate)!

- Canonically wears eyeliner.

- Magic sparks from his fingertips when he’s very excited!

- If Fantoccio was an animal, Ash says he’d be a cat.

- No traditional gross human stuff inside him like others, just wood and sap. “Whatever trees do.”

- His original concept by Ash was him having a purple phantom head, being a ghost in a puppet’s body. This was changed by Katie, I believe.

How I think the HH crew takes their coffee

Lucifer orders the most complicated, sugary, step specific drink you could imagine. He is hated by baristas everywhere. Also gets so excited when ordering he changes it at least 3 times halfway through explaining it. Probably gets something different everytime too. He is a regular with no usual. Charlie canonically likes frappaccinos! Like her dad, I can see her having similar tastes, sugar, but also wanting to keep it simple so that she doesn't overwhelm the employees (she's too considerate for her own good). Orders straight from the menu exactly how it is with no alterations, is also the one who probably walks in with a list of orders for her friends, goes as slow as possible for the cashiers sake. Angeldust rolls up to the drivethrough hung over and orders something iced- probably a caramel drink and he asks for it to specifically be drowned in caramel, and an extra shot. Either that or a vanilla iced latte. Vaggie is not a huge fan of coffee, she gets a tea or tea latte instead. Earl grey is her favourite and she likes a lot of milk. Alastor loves a nice extra hot black coffee. He wants that bitch scolding and bitter. Doesn't even drink it, just splashes it in his face. Where that would normally give someone 3rd degree burns, it gives him some 'extra pep' in the morning, as he puts it (god he's a fucking freak) Husk takes his coffee black also, but instead will spike it with his own bourbon he keeps in a flask. Will sometimes get cream and sugar if he's feeling, as he puts it , 'fancy' (bro is so low maintenance) Nifty isn't allowed to have caffeine for obvious reasons Sir Pentious is another non-coffee drinker but drinks exclusively tea. Is a bit of a snob about it too. Needs the leaves to be fresh or he WILL be able to taste the burntness. His favourite is peppermint. Would rather die than bother the barista to remake it though so he normally brews his own with his own needlessly complicated tea making invention of course. Cherri bomb loooooves caffine, but isn't much of a coffee drinker. More of a monster energy and redbull kinda gal. She needs something she can drink fast and hard. Don't even get me started on those 5 hour energy drinks. Oh boy. Don't let her near them (she will kill u for one) Vox is an avid coffee drinker. Practically lives off of it and can't get through the day without (it's a problem). Definately has one of those 'don't talk to me before I've had my coffee' mugs bc he's an asshole. Drinks like 5-6 cups in a single day. Send help. Velvette gets a coffee once in the morning and then one in the afternoon. Pulls up to the cash register with her sunglasses on and outfit for the day put together, intimidating buisness lady vibes off the charts while she orders between phone calls. Also definately shushes the barista of they try to ask her any questions, can't you see she's on the phone? Her order is LONG and COMPLICATED and she needs it made the way she likes to a T, she also talks fast and no she will NOT repeat herself so you better be a fast writer. Probably gets something vanilla flavoured with 3 shots of espresso in it. Valentino isn't a coffee guy but if he needs it for a long shoot or late night he gets either an Americano or pure espresso shots. No time to waste with the frills and fancy stuff despite the look of him. Also will throw the cup at the barista if the shots come out burnt or expired.

Hello friend! Thank you for dropping by and giving me a prompt to gush on Reinako even more! XD

Timeline/stages of life of the Reinako development:

Following directly after the Final Act, during the girls' 3rd year in middle school, Minako was a bit awkward about how to act casually around the Senshi team. Rei helped her out the most before the group dynamic fully settled - e.g. never stopped inviting Minako even if Minako often needed to miss out on group plans due to work without making Minako feel bad (not that the others intentionally make Minako feel guilty, but they just try too hard, versus Rei doesn't make a big deal about it); calling Minako out when Minako holds back on sharing her candid thoughts or feelings with the team for some silly reason or due to occupational hazard of being an idol; calling Makoto and Usagi out when they fangirl too hard and was making Minako feel awkward, making it a struggling for Minako to balance building a genuine friendship or treat them as fangirls. (Ami was also a bit shy with Minako at the start, so Rei had to run some interference there, but Usagi and Makoto were the troublemakers.)

I struggle to make up my mind on which is the better high school scenario: if Minako went to Juuban with Ami, Makoto and Usagi just like manga canon, or because of her fame and celebrity status she ended up going to T*A academy for high school with Rei (better security because of all the politician’s and big businessmen’s daughters in the school, etc), Regardless, high school period is when Rei and Minako really settled as best friends, getting to the point they practically know everything about each other and would be in contact almost everyday.

By the 3rd year of high school approaching graduation, Minako starts to realize she has romantic feelings for Rei. She suspects Rei might actually reciprocate her feelings, except Rei is too dense to realize or too scarred by his dad's abandonment of Rei and Rei's mom to consider exploring a romantic relationship. Knowing both Rei's and her own career trajectory would take them away from Tokyo with limited contact after graduation, Minako decided to not broach the topic.

Rei and Minako drifted apart a bit after high school graduation until the Special Act. After the kiss at the hospital (see Headcanon Part 1), and then UsaMamo's wedding, they both matured enough to face their feelings and started seriously considering starting a relationship. They had to do a lot of soul-searching and shared really candid conversations to get through all the emotional baggage, personal barriers and doubts they both carried, but they eventually got there.

And then they live happily ever after following what I described in Headcanon Part 2. haha (My actual headcanon of post-Special Act Reinako is drastically different from my fanfic, coz apparently I thrive most in writing angst and battle. LOL)

High school era PGSM Reinako:

While Rei took the lead in helping Minako find her place in the Senshi team dynamic and getting comfortable with just being a normal teenager during their middle-school period, Minako was the one that instigated most if not all the shenanigans that led to their deepened friendship in the 3 years of high school, elevating their relationship from just-friends to best friend status.

I always imagined Minako pranked Rei by surprising her on a school visit at T*A to "check out options for a new high school". Minako and her manager Saitou Sugao are being led on a school tour by a nun, and when they spot Rei, Sugao (who is of course in on the prank with Minako) makes a whole scene of barging into the classroom trying to scout Rei into stardom in front of all of Rei's peers as if it's his first time meeting Rei and exclaiming he has found the next shining star of Japan, after Minako of course! Rei was absolutely mortified, though the Senshi team had a great laugh when Minako shared the story in their next hangout. Rei was not pleased.

Following the above headcanon, I headcanon that Rei achieves the same intra-school celebrity status by the time she enters her high school division, similar to how Rei is a school celebrity in T*A in the manga. The drastic change from live-action canon was first prompted by the whole stardom scouting fiasco Minako and Sugao caused. Secondly, Minako learned by chance that Rei was bullied at school throughout middle school through Usagi describing how she met Rei. When Minako confronted Rei about it, Rei just shrugged and brushed it off coz she was used to it and the bullies are practically harmless with more bark than bite, but Minako was still so upset about it that she went to post on her public blog (equivalent to celebrity Twitter/Insta nowadays) about how Rei's her best friend and the coolest, kindest person who helped her get through her illness and recovery, etc. She wrote a whole sob story narrative about how thankful she is for having Rei in her life and how Rei was a source of inspiration and a role model to her, etc. etc. and posted some photos she had taken with Rei. Suddenly all of Rei's peers see Rei in a new light and think she's the coolest and want to befriend her for a chance to also meet Minako. The teachers started actually addressing and punishing the bullies and the school atmosphere was changed anew. The whole deal freaked Rei out, while Minako felt very pleased with herself.

Once Rei joined the archery club in T*A's high school division, she gained even more fame from winning archery competitions at the district and then national level. Her achievement adds to the furor Minako caused, and the lowerclassmen in T*A practically fawn over Rei and founded a fan club with merch. Minako loves teasing Rei about it and secretly becomes a fan club member with platinum status from buying all the merch.

^ The fan club is how Minako knows Rei's archery competition schedule, coz Rei is too humble to ever mention it, and also because every time she gets way too embarrassed by how loud the Senshi team is when they cheer for her, because Minako makes sure the whole Senshi team is decked out with inflated thunder sticks and signs whenever they go cheer for Rei at competitions.

Other misc PGSM Reinako headcanon:

Rei's the one who always remembers and is mindful of Minako's distaste for whipped cream, and stops Usagi's rampage on getting strawberry shortcake for every Christmas because Usagi always reminisces on the cake she and Minako had on the Ferris wheel and forgets Minako’s actual food preference. Rei knew coz she actually paid attention to the lyrics in Sayonara ~Sweet Days.

It's very often Usagi and Makoto would drag the girls around town to try out a new cafe or shop that's selling some new sweet drink, pastry or snack (shaved ice, ice cream, crepe, cake, etc. the stuff you'd see people post on foodie social media). If Minako ever bows out of getting something for herself, Rei will make sure to buy something she knows Minako will likely enjoy so Minako can share some of hers (usually strawberry-flavoured coz that's Minako's favourite), and without fail Minako would take some of Rei’s 'just for a taste because she’s curious', and then inevitably eating half of Rei’s. lol And if Rei is buying something for Minako or knows Minako will inevitably take some from her, Rei would always also buy a bottle of water to accompany whatever crazy sweet things Usagi makes them eat/drink - and it has to be room temperature only, for Minako because Minako needs to be very careful with maintaining her vocal cords for singing.

Whenever Minako and Rei get into a serious fight but both struggle to reconcile, they both would separately go to Artemis and poor Artemis can usually help them sort it out after. But if things get really bad and they notice Artemis is feeling caught in the crossfire, Minako would then go to Makoto, and Rei would go to Ami to process their thoughts... or vent. Makoto and Ami's involvement becomes a yardstick of whether "shit's-hitting-the-fan" or not.

Manga Reinako Headcanon...?

I've not thought as much about the manga Reinako headcanon because I perpetually live in PGSM brainrot. But I do think manga Reinako eventually established a partners-for-life relationship in the manga universe as well.

Different from how I think PGSM Reinako eventually enters an openly romantic, crazy-in-love-for-each-other relationship (once they get over their personal crap), I see manga Reinako has a more subtle and delicate soulmate relationship that is built on deep partnership and mutual understanding in life and duty, especially considering their near immortality and role in Crystal Tokyo. Their relationship dances back and forth on the line of being romantic involved in their personal life, and being a kind of kindred spirit in their view and attitude towards their duty. They've dated, and fallen in love with each other, but across the years also realize sometimes they need space from each other to maintain healthy boundaries between private life and their duty. When they enter a break from each other, it's nothing bad and always with mutual understanding, done amicably - stepping away so they don't get "sick of each other" since eternity is a damn long time! But if one of them is ever feeling down or struggling with something, they are each other's default go-to person, their safe place, and they can discard their masks and break when they need it, especially when they start outliving their non-Senshi family and friends while the world they know of slowly changing and morphing into Crystal Tokyo.

Once they stopped aging, Minako would still try to find opportunities to enjoy life as a human when it's possible, while Rei was more comfortable just accepting fate and being Sailor Mars for life. When there's no crisis to deal with, Minako makes Rei de-transform and drags Rei out of the palace for a girls' night with her in the city.

I see manga MakoAmi to have a similar partnership as well. Though their way of showing affection for their partner is a bit more overt and less complicated than Reinako's. Rei and Minako are so interesting to me because I feel they are more polar opposites in some ways, yet both are so similar in how deeply layered their personality and backstories are that it complicates their relationship but also strengthens them.

Can you give some headcanons for the series?

SURE! Let's see, I got a bunch of 'em.

Friendly reminder to whoever will read this, THESE ARE JUST HEADCANONS, don't take them as facts, omg, this is just my personal creativity and imagination playing around here

1- The dogs live a lot longer than what it would be "usual" considering the difference between human and dog ages. If we'd take actual dog age into account in this show, both Rubble and Zuma would be the first ones to die of old age in like, 4 years at least. I refuse that. For me, the dogs in this universe not only are able to speak and learn stuff that animals normally don't, but also will live up to like, 30 or 40 years old. Mixed breeds with more resistance to diseases and stuff might reach the 50s.

2- Marshall has bad genetics due to being result from extreme in-breeding at an illegal facility (y'know like what they call a puppy mill). He was born without any strength on his rear body, plus the blue eyes which are ACTUALLY a gene that's related to making Dalmatians have less spots and hearing loss, which can happen from birth or gradually lose their hearing as they grow up. The facility was busted in by police and the dogs were rescued, treated, and put up for adoption. Ryder saw how that clumsy puppy still persisted on getting up and trying to keep up with the others and chose him. It took them some long time of physiotherapy but Marshall's attitude and optimism, along with the support from Ryder and the other pups, got him where he is nowadays: Able to walk, run, jump and perform his rescue duties almost perfectly, to the point he's one of the fastest (if not the fastest) pups (ok this part about his speed is canon, he IS one of the fastest pups), even if he still trips sometimes - it's just how he is and they all love and support him.

3- Skye hates being the smallest pup because she knows she won't grow as much as the others anyway. She's a mix of two naturally small breeds. So whenever they notice one of them is growing a bit more and it's "taking longer" for her, it's just because she grows so much slower and just a bit, to the point it's nearly impossible to notice.

4- Zuma descends from a breed of Merpups who have long ago left the underwater to live on land. They've mixed with Labradors who lived around and the story of their origins has been lost to time, as their descendants think it's just a legend. Zuma always believed it to be real and that's why he waited to see a Merpup that first time. To become a Merpup for one night was literally a dream come true, not only for him loving water but also for it felt like "coming home" for him.

5- Mr. Porter is secretly tasked with watching out for Ryder, that's why he's always helping with providing things for the pups, like bringing/preparing food and snacks for them.

My take on the Paris Special’s alternate universe (pt. 1 of many concepts explained)

Keep in mind that I am not a writer- more an idea person. I don’t imagine anything I come up with will be even close to canon. With that said, let’s start with the Backstory:

The origin story begins not with the universe we see, but instead with a world where everything is normal… Except

Gabriel allows Colt to use the Peacock Miraculous so that Amile can have a child. Instead of responding is complete disgust however, Colt takes an interest and decides to try and research about the miraculous…

Somehow, he manages to learn what he needs to, and summons Gimmi to make the ultimate wish… To be given supreme power over anyone and everyone. After all, the price that would take would only serve to keep himself in power

Things play out as we see they do in that universe at that point: Gabriel steals the Moth and Peacock miraculouses (miraculi?🤔), Colt kills Emile for using the power of the peacock again, mostly due to a proud anger he’s had since the first time she had Adrien, and Gabriel goes into hiding to start the resistance.

The difference now is that Colt knows of Gabriel’s identity… that’s exactly why he decides to give his only son the Cat Miraculous. So he can be forced to watch this universe’s Adrien unknowingly destroy himself (along with knowingly destroying Paris ☝️😌)

Now… here’s a few quick design ideas for other characters.

Felix and Kagami, both being Sentibeings, work for the Supreme as Morals Officers (not sure how else to call them). They’re both constantly on the clock, patrolling the city, keeping the citizens in line, and overall trying to dissuade any kind of rebellion.

They act in sort of a Good cop/Bad cop routine, and are so overworked and under so much pressure that they have no time to be themselves or even know themselves.

Although Chloe’s father is still the mayor, Laws work differently under the Supreme’s rule. Andre was made to send Chloe to live elsewhere if he wanted to be given a position of political power, which lead to Chloe living with her friend Sabrina.

Chloe is a typical mean girl, lashing out at others and being petty, but this is all due to insecurity and (pretty trope-y) stuff.. She did grow up with her father though, and through her emotionally (and literally) absent mother, got to grow up with Adrien and even star as a model for many of Gabriel’s more youthful and feminine designs. She considers Adrien to be almost like a brother to her, even though she doesn’t see him much after his mother died.

I,,, honestly don’t have much for Luka 🧍 He’s mostly just potential right now- Potential to become a part of the resistance AND potential to be used by the Supreme and harness a miraculous. Luka is a good bit more cynical compared to his show counterpart, and struggles with serious abandonment issues after not only his dad abandoning him as a baby, but his twin sister Juleka seemingly vanishing as well (she became a miraculous holder- I’ll design her eventually if y’all want 😊)

This is such a late response, my apologies! This is also purely speculatory based on the little canonical information we have.

But god do I hope she is bold, unflinching, confident, arrogant, kind, clever and regal.

If I remember correctly Myriah was the eldest. She was meant to rule, and likely had that expectation. She gives up her right to Dorne to become the Queen of all the Seven Kingdoms and that must have stung a bit right? While also being a huge undertaking.

There have been many Queens in Westeros but Myriah is the true First Queen of The Seven Kingdoms. However becoming this Queen also involves marrying into the family that has attempted to subjugate your people since the first Aegon! How appalling must that be marrying to a family that felt superior to you and entitled to your land. This bizarre inbred family that is no longer the powerhouse they once were on the heels of the war that cost them their dragons and yet they've learned nothing. Myriah joins their ranks at such an interesting political time. She's meant to usher peace and prosperity but how do you do that when everything is working against you? The grandson of Rhaenyra Targaryen just died attempting to subjugate her country once more and was killed under a peace banner. A loss that demands blood and causes outrage - despite the fact Daeron the Young Dragon lost over 10,000 lives trying to control a land that didn't belong to him.

Baelor the Blessed is instrumental in creating peace arranging her very own marriage alliance her own son who was meant to be one of the greatest kings is named after him but Myriah is also from a land where women have always ruled and Baelor's three sisters are imprisoned against their will. I think this would have caused a great deal of distress for Myriah and I think she would have held a great deal of pity for Daena, Naerys and even Daenerys. I think she would have tried to bring more women into the fold at court and into positions of power. Something we do know is canonical in the fact that Daeron's court was disliked for being progressive/intelligent, pro women and pro dornish. Elaena Targaryen was an unofficial master of coin for Daeron II and Myriah and famously sided with them and not her sister's son. Myriah was also a Princess & Queen to be under a father-in-law who attempted to take her country again even after her marriage to his son. I honestly can't begin to imagine the amount of strife this would have caused Myriah and I can't imagine she didn't have to swallow insult after insult from Aegon VI. I almost wonder if some of the Targaryens after the Dance, Aegon VI, Daeron The Young Dragon, Daena the Defiant - were desperate to get back some sense of superiority after their house lost the source of their power. What better way to do so then by enslaving the land that Aegon and his sisters couldn't with even dragons. What better way to prove themselves real dragons? To prove their superiority? When they've been reduced to normality - It must have ached them. Mind you this is the court Myriah would have had to contend with. This is all without even going into the fact that she and her children were considered unworthy for not being white pale blonds. Her husband is reported to have treated his half siblings well and yet they still go to war against her Queenship and the right's of her children. I think she would have had to be a spectacular woman to survive and thrive under the circumstances she did. I am extremely excited to learn more about her and I truly hope she and Daeron have a healthy marriage despite so many things working against them - Which going off what we know it appears they did.

Thinking about how Jeb and Sanford & Deimos could/would be friends, if given the chance.

Canon wise, they've actually only met a grand total of once during the events of M:PN, or at least talked to each other anyway. Sanford and Deimos have never really gotten an opportunity to know Christoff and vice versa.

During Shakedown, the only level in the game where only Jeb and Deimos are playable characters, it happens to be that both of them have the "hacker" trait, meaning that during the segment where Deimos hacks the terminal to activate the robot, there's actually a bit of flavor text that sort of sparked this whole train of thought.

If you attempt to hack the terminal as Jeb, the game will give you a little text blurb that says "Let the boy show you his idea, sheesh!" Which of course, could be interpreted in a few ways. Personally, I always saw it as Jeb's way of trying to see what Deimos was capable of. I can imagine him peering over Deimos' shoulder as he types away lines of code into the terminal, the code being sloppy and unrefined, but functional nonetheless.

Generally speaking I always got the sense that Jeb developed a sort of respect for S&D, one he doesn't have for their compatriots in the slightest. Him choosing to say "Very wise, my friend." to Sanford gave me the sense that he sees him in a much higher light in spite of the people he chooses to associate himself with.

I definitely think S&D would find Jeb to just be a downright weird individual, and a little crazy with his constant talk about being Nevada's savior. All they see is an old man way past his prime, kept alive by a magical artifact. The years have worn away at his body and his psyche, but it hasn't made him any less powerful, if anything his resolve has only strengthened with time.

I can imagine Deimos playing practical jokes with Jeb, or intentionally saying something stupid in order to annoy him. Normally, it would, if it were anybody else. For some reason I think Jeb would find Deimos...Somewhat endearing, he would see a lot of potential to what would be relative to him a young man. It annoys him in the same way your little brother annoys you. You say you hate it, but you'll miss it when it's gone.

Sanford I think would be a bit of a foil to Jeb's high thinking, Jeb is always constantly thinking about the bigger picture, what's next for Nevada, what he needs to do in order to save it. Sanford, to a degree, understands why that's important, but he generally thinks on a much smaller scale. He cares more about the people immediately around him and what he can do to protect them. Jeb has a hard time thinking of people on an individual level, seeing them all as pieces in a much larger game. Sanford is one of these pieces, and he knows more than anyone that the only way to stay alive and sane is to stick together.

That's not to say Sanford and Jeb wouldn't like each other, but I do think they would get into sort of philosophical arguments with each other. They both agree with each other on several fundamentals, but they have such a different perspective of it that they can't help but clash. Jeb always thinks about what's in the future, and Sanford lives in the moment, taking everything one day at a time.

Unfortunately I don't see Christoff's tendency to manipulate people fading when it comes to Sanford and Deimos, if anything he would try to coerce them to his side, the only side he thinks is correct. He would try to get them to abandon Doc and S.Q. and let him be their leader, as he would be the only one who can truly "save" Nevada, but as always this is just a delusion he's conned himself into believing.

Luckily Sanford and Deimos would become masters at brushing his ramblings off, much to his annoyance, but I don't think it would be enough to pit them against each other.

It's just an interesting dynamic, one I hope to see explored further in the series at some point, whether it be via game or animation, or something else entirely.

More dark din head canon? I kinda missed ut

I love Dark Din Content! I've needed to sit back and think about this because I haven't touched it in a while...I need to get back to my horrible, feral roots of making everything terrible with this.

So, let's see...what about Dark Din who doesn't fall for Luke at first? Like how I was tempted to do with Blooms but it didn't quite go to the level of Dark I wanted cause I felt like it wouldn't have matched the story to that point and wouldn't have been fair to Luke/Readers/The Plot?

I've considered doing another multi-chapter story of where Din is like a dark (but still good) king of Mandalore and he has to work together with a Force-user to rescue Grogu...but he makes it clear he hates this guy and would gut him if he could except he needs him. Luke is just vibing along as normal. Then he just makes things click in Din's head of "oh, I can never let him leave me"--like now it's a Blooms meets Little Bird type of situation

Once in love, Din would be feral over Luke. He would plot to keep Luke trapped on Mandalore. There would be an unspoken law that Luke Skywalker can never leave the world or there would be absolute hell to pay.

Luke would just be going about enjoying his time, thinking all of this is temporary, and wow it is weird his ship keeps having trouble, and he'll be sad to leave but he needs to do stuff and this family needs time to themselves, and Mandalorians still don't like Force-users...all the while there is a marriage being plotted and he has no idea.

Now, the things this Dark Din does:

-slowly begins to replace the few pieces of clothing Luke has with prettier and things of better quality. It starts off with just tunics and pants that are more like gifts and to help him fit in and have things that are just nicer in general. But then they become prettier, more feminine, and something that just common civilians of Mandalore would wear...even better than Clan Leaders or noblemen would have.

-is trying to slowly erase his connections, as few as they may be, to anything outside of Mandalorian space. No one really needed to know of Luke Skywalker and he did not need any reason to ever try to leave.

-tries to spoil Luke rotten; wants most everything Luke owns to be something he provided for him. He wants everything to make Luke think of him and as a reminder to others and Luke himself that this is all Din's. Din did this. Din provided for him. It was all Din and everyone needs to be aware of this.

-Luke has mostly free reign of the palace but cannot set foot outside without explicit permission from Din only and needs to be accompanied by someone. It seems over the top but he doesn't have much argument. This wasn't his homewold and things got a bit...messy and now he was potentially a target of enemies. But it still felt a bit overbearing.

-does have Luke followed and will try to be the one who follows him if possible. He normally can't, cause he's king and all that, but that doesn't stop him. He gifts Luke a cute little droid as a pet (Artoo hisses at it) that rides Luke's shoulder/head or floats next to him and gives Din all sorts of updates and live feed (he is a creep, but this is dark Din and we can go all out)

-has warned Luke that there are consequences to actions. he will be very lenient with Luke and most things but in regards to his safety, things are non-negotiable and he needs to listen and follow instructions (it takes time but eventually spanking is brought in)

Honestly, my brain is just bringing up delicious lead up to one of my favorite dark Din dinluke stories of Ni Ceta Ni Alor by @aureutr--cause can you imagine the slow breakdown of Din's sanity and his need to own, protect, and control Luke. The lead up to where we get to in that story.

Because I adore stories of Din already the victor, of him already losing his mind and heart to the darkness and succeeding where Anakin didn't--I love that SO much. But I also thrive on the build up, of how did he get his victory and how did he lose himself to the Darkness to the point Luke was swept up as well?

HEY what are your thoughts on conrad and the fix, im so normal about them and im trying to come up with some ideas make a fanfic about them. Dan fucks and conrad are also so very much :)

I love Conrad and Fix's dynamic, I think about them post-canon a lot so I'd be more than happy to share <3

I imagine that once Conrad comes to the conclusion that he doesn't have to live in the streets, he spends a lot of time helping out at the Orphanage for Wayward Interests. He's growing up now, but he spent a lot of time there when Madam Loathing was still in charge, he knew a lot of the kids. He's very happy to see that they're all getting the love they deserve now.

The Fix is always happy to have him over, actively encouraging it really if it means Conrad has a place to stay. Pasha adores him too, of course. They have one of those doorframe markers for him where they measure his height, and he gets super giddy whenever he's grown even an inch.

Sometimes The Fix will read/tell stories to the kids, and Conrad will curl up with Justin and listen. He still doesn't always understand what The Fix tells him, but it's started making a bit more sense as time goes on.

Conrad slipped up and called The Fix 'dad' once and felt super embarrassed about it until Pasha later pulled him aside to say that she and The Fix would be happy to welcome him into their family if he so wished because they both cared for him as their own. (The reason The Fix wasn't the one telling him this is because he got Emotional™️, he's been domesticated)

Every time Conrad comes over, The Fix has him do an exercise where he recounts three good things that happened since the last time they saw each other. They're working on him learning to be more positive :)

As for Conrad and Dan, I think as Conrad grows, he develops a bit more sass as well as his independence. He doesn't actually mind living outdoors, Mentopolis is a much safer city now with Anastasia in charge, and all the people he sees leave Sugah's seem happy so it's not as dreary and depressing as it was before. Still, I think he deserves to sass Dan a bit (he is an asshole and I love him) and I can only imagine that the attitude would make Dan respect him more. They don't interact much, even less so without any of the other PIs present, but Dan begrudgingly comes to care for him.

Dan does grow worried when Conrad doesn't come back to his ally for a few days. He masks it with his usual snappy attitude the next time he does see Conrad but was very relieved to find that he was only at the Orphanage. He still offers to pay the kid even when he isn't around much anymore, giving some half-assed reason about making sure Conrad stays out of the way of business, just to make sure he has some spending money when he's out and about. (Conrad did end up getting a nice green jacket, and eventually a new cap to match :))

Slept on Ships P1: Space Princess

Slept on Ships: Space Princess; Silent Jasmines hello!! so after taking a look at the very long Batpham shipping chart and seeing so many slept on ship dynamics, i decided to start a series all about highlighting romantic and platonic dynamics that---in my professional opinion---deserve more love. i'll be starting with the first dp/dc ship i created: Space Princess.

Space Princess: Dani Phantom/Mar'i Grayson

Relevant Background

so, in general, if you're not knee deep in the DC Fandom, you might now know who Mar'i Grayson, aka Nightstar, is. Mar'i Grayson is the daughter of Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing, and Koriand'r, aka Starfire, from Earth-22. she appears in the Kingdom Come series, where she has her own issue and everything! she's shown as protective of her family, like her father, and just as strong-willed as her mother.

fun fact: in Kingdom Come, Dick and Kori are actually divorced, while in most fanfic, people portray them as together. Mar'i is also part of the Teen Titans on her earth, along with Lian Harper and Irey West.

in this post i'll be reference a few head canons such as; Dani being considered a Princess in a Ghost King Danny au and Dani possibly having an ice core (we don't know what core she has in canon.)

Why is the dynamic interesting?

they are prime Sun and Moon couple energy

Mar'i who lives her life in the sun as a public figure, her powers fuled by the sun and just as bright as her, while Dani hides in the shadows of society, lurking. giving Dani and ice core adds an extra layer of opposites.

they are equal parts soft sapphic girls, and battle hardened heroes. they're both incredibly capable political figures (in a Ghost King Danny Au) who always have to put up a front, they have to be the perfect leaders their kingdoms need them to be. they would understand each other in ways that other people couldn't

i also imagine them bonding over being the child of very famous/rich parents.

they also have colorful girlfriend and grunge girlfriend vibes.

Dani deserves to run Tameran like a fortune five hundred company while Mar'i is off being a superhero. the dynamic works strangely well for them.

Dick and Kori would love Dani, and if Mar'i doesn't marry her they're adopting her

Mar'i can be scary when she wants to, just like her mom. Dani thinks it's very hot.

Mar'i inherits her mother's height, which makes her both taller and stronger than Dani, and Dani would love it.

i like to imagine Dani having purple eyes or powers later down the road (since Vlad's are pink and Danny's are green/blue) which would make them almost opposites. it could be a fun story device to use.

A lot of people compare Mar'i to her mother, but realistically, i think she would be a lot like her dad's family, specifically Tim. it would be fun to explore the dynamics between Mar'i and Tim as niece and uncle, and they dynamic between Mar'i and Damian as sort of siblings (yes, i am a 'Dick Grayson is Damian Wayne's dad' fan). it could be prime real estate for a little bit of Danny/Damian or Dan/Tim or Jazz/Cass on the side.

Mar'i inherited her mom/dad's anger, and he Uncle Tim's ability to compartmentalize her feelings until she breaks. enough said.

through Mar'i, and by extension the batfam, Dani learns what real love looks like. she finally understands how abusive Vlad was to her. this could be in the context of a Vlad trying to redem himself, or a Vlad trying to manipulate Dani back into his life, but now she knows better.

with how much Mar'i hung around Raven as a kid, it would be interesting if Mar'i knew that Dani was not normal before everyone else. maybe Mar'i even knows a little bit of magic.

Dani is a mechanic and Mar'i is a student who refuses to get her very old car replaced.

Mar'i gets lost in the Zone after the destruction of her universe. She had no idea what to do or where to go. Dani finds her, and together they traverse worlds they were never meant to see.

send me “spoiler!” + a number from 1 to 25 and ill give u a vague spoiler abt a story im writing

1001 nights. Thanks to Batman: The Cult, Jason must know how to deprogram someone. In The Man Who Stopped Laughing, he discovers that Joker goes around brainwashing people into Joker-lites. Do the math.

5 times dick and zatana fooled around on dick's birthday and 1 time they didn't. What it says. I consider it part of the same continuity as my longer Young Justice WIP.

aditf: jason survives. I came up with this one before the fauximile, and it doesn't follow that. It'll focus on Jason's recovery and asks questions about what his survival would have changed in Batman comics as a whole, going forward.

amnesiac!jason. Circa new-earth, before Damian entered the picture. Jason faced something that broke his psyche and, while it was getting fixed, Bruce took creative licenses. Now Jason lives a "normal" life, starting college, working... but something is clearly WRONG. I swear I came up with this story before Gotham War xD, but there were some eerie parallels that jumpted at me as I read lol.

batwoman / robin: 2.0. AU of Batwoman's third season. Upon the realisation that a lot of what instantly appealed to me about batwoman!Ryan is similar to what appeals to me about robin!Jason, I decided to sit down and write about it. And I took advantage of it to tackle some changes I really didn't like in s3.

caretaker red hood (prev. bloodsharing wip). I read that at least in some comics it's been said that Jason (and Bruce, but that's less relevant) is 0-. I engineered a situation where the (still masked) Red Hood had to give a blood transfusion on the field to Bruce, and to take care of his injuries.

cass & jason: street kids. Cass makes it to Gotham a bit earlier, wandering the city, homeless. Just around the time a catatonic Jason is around, sharing his food with other homeless people. And just in time for her to intervene when people try to take Jason away.

convergence + incorporated: hold my beer (brand new!). Takes the end of the new earth timeline and puts Jason & Bruce on a difference direction, taking inspiration from Convergence: Batman and Robin, the basic premise of Batman Incorporated, and explores how Bruce killing Darkseid could've affected things.

damon and elena: marriage of doom. the quieter horror that I think Elena and Damon's marriage would inevitably be (especially in an universe where Damon put his money where his mouth was re: alienating others, and he killed Jeremy instead of Tyler).

dc vs. vampires, re-imagined. I read the first volume of that story and I was... disappointed. I decided to do my own spin on it: more character focused, less about the JL/saving the world~~ shenanigans. And obviously, Jason lives xD (well. Technically).

desperate housewives/spn crossover. all based on a dream I had where Tom Scavo was brutally killed by some monster and the late-seasons spn team came to infiltrate the suburbs and investigate LOL.

gotham: bruce plots a murder. Future fic set on the Fox show, about how that Bruce might react to Valeska killing Jason. The title sounds tongue-in-cheek but this is very angsty I swear.

gotham war: everything gets worse. Exactly that xD. I took what happened to Jason in GW seriously and poured more angst over it. What if he got hurt in some incurable way that meant he'd need to change his life going forward? What if he couldn't bring himself to save the child in Catwoman #57? What if the Joker did something much worse to "cure" him? And so on and so forth.

rogue green lantern!Jason. Someone on reddit joked about how, if Jason "overcame great fear" during Gotham War, he could get a ring. I don't think he'd join the Corps, but he would also not renounce to such power coming at a time of such vulnerability either.

immortal!Jason. It's basically canon that new earth!Jason came back from things that should have killed him with no explanation. So what if he can resurrect, over and over? This is about each of the Bats finding out about it.

orpheus!jayeddie. Jason finds out that Kid/Red Devil, his only peer from back in the day, got his soul sent to Hell.

jason + joker’s last laugh. Jason finds out about what happened in that arc (Dick beating the Joker to death, Bruce resucitating him). It only makes things worse.

jason’s journals. AU of War Games. Steph survives and is recovering in the Manor. There, she finds some old journals, written by the mysterious second Robin... and she, Tim, and Cass start to unravel the stories they'd been told about Jason vs. what he wrote himself. Just in time for the Red Hood to come into town.

jason’s new rules. Jason takes a victim's death really hard and reevaluates. Set on some amalgam of the main continuity, post-Alfred's death.

journalist!dick. Prompted by a tumblr post discusing how he could've gotten inspired to be an investigative journalist (thanks to Clark & Lois!). It takes things from Nightwing & Batman comics, and from the UTRH animated film, twisting some things around (for example, in this world Batman never took another sidekick after Jason's death, so Cass, Steph, and Tim's stories go differently).

kidnapping wip. Also inspired by a weird dream. Bruce manages to snatch Jason at the end of UTRH, takes him to the Manor to heal, and decides to try a little Stockholm syndrome. I also came up with this one before Gotham War xD

outlaws vs. justice league: simulation. If you haven't read the "Red Hood: Outlaws" webtoon, the premise is that Jason, Artemis, and Bizarro are made the new JL for a provation period... and then it's revealed they'd been put in a simulation without their consent (a simulation where they showed more compassion to some of the "criminals" they meant to hunt than the JL did). Then the webtoon did nothing with that, which really disappointed me. So I ran with it instead.

prison break: robins. Jason is facing the death penalty (for something he 100% did, lbr). Dick can't take it and puts himself in the same prison.

time travel: robin jason. You know all those AUs where robin!Jason suddenly appears on the present, and everyone has to deal with all the angst that brings? I want to do my own take on that. Lots of Jason & Jason bonding.

young justice: FÉNIX. In which I do what I've wanted to for years and write THEE yj!Jason-centric fic that's been so clear in my head. Featuring a lot of Jason & Damian, Jason & Bats reuniting, and tons of secret identity shenanigans.

Let's start out with, I do genuinely think Nene-chan experiences heat cycles in this world. My overall HC for the bakeneko is that they're behaviorally identical to normal cats, as a bakeneko starts their life as ordinary cats before essentially aging into a proper yokai. For a lot of Nene's life, she was a normal domestic girlie, eating kibbles, playing with her touys. I think the transition into bakeneko status grants more human-level sapience, magical qualities, kind of elevating them.

This creates an interesting creature, as I do not think bakeneko themselves identify as humans, but they are now a bit different from their fellow cats. I imagine they feel a sort of superiority above both species, basically like if a cat had access to human commodities and magic, feeling beyond the capabilities of both. Yet able to still indulge in batting a toy mouse around or eating treats from squeeze-tube. A funny life, in that way. Best of both worlds?

Soo, I do not think Nene is ashamed of her heat cycle, as it's something she's lived with for years by now. Though I think it is perhaps inconvenient, and potentially a little embarrassing at times, as she IS seeking to be famous, draw in ikeman toms. Ideally, Nene would want to come off as cool, mature, elegant. A seductress... Maybe it is hard to feel that way when dealing with the urge to yowl and scrabble along the ground. Confidence takes time. Perhaps in her wildest fantasies, she's at the center of a frenzy, with toms circling around her and taking turns, but I don't think she's close to achieving anything like that yet lol. She just got here. All in due time, she might think. (Not quite, sweetie.) But in the meantime...

Sakura is an experienced bakeneko and has long run this establishment. There seems to be a casual mix of regular cats (?) and bakeneko... I think she is quite aware of her species predilections, is generous about time off. Nene could request that within reason and just be granted some time to, do whatever she has to. So the next step is to hole herself up and try to ride it out. Being a bakeneko might lend enough self-control to isolate and take precautions, not wanting to get entangled with just anyone.

Now the devil in the room here is 1. heat makes you crazy and just want to have sex whatever the cost 2. you have a pervert coworker that is explicitly interested in you, hovering within your vicinity.

IMO Amane's personality works heinously well as a tomcat, wielding a sort of terrible charm along with being jealous and clingy, the type to harass... More unleashed than canon boy, able to express himself in things such as marking territory. Doesn't help that Amane seems to be a nekomata, something more powerful and insidious than the bakeneko — easy to think he imagines himself really controlling this space. (Much like he is the leader of the mysteries.) I really think of him obsessively patrolling, spraying against all sorts of features of the ryokan, fences, the rocks, trees, out and about. High tail as he trots around in feral form.

As is often the case with HanaNene I feel as though Amane being some. Scrappy, scraggly little black cat, with such a shitty demeanor is like, not, what Nene envisions as 'her type'. He's not quite, impressive or gentlemanly enough to make her want to give in to his flirting. A bit kimochi warui... But ultimately she does like him, they have their little joint routines to welcome guests, doing dances, they can roll around and play with toys together, heh.

It's emphasized Nene is a new hostess here, in-training, likely with Amane himself overseeing her integration into the ryokan. I don't get the impression they've known each other very long. We're seeing a girl pretty early on in the wear-down arc that Iro-sensei likes to write (lol.) So I feel as though their closeness is progressing at a steady rate... It's a playful dynamic, currently, but hasn't escalated to something more intimate. Perhaps they are on the cusp of 'something more'...

Beyond that though there's a weird contingency in this AU where Amane is fanning Nene-chan's bloodlust for humans. Psychologically this is madness because he has a secret human 'brother' here. It makes me feel like Nene is being messed with, unbeknownst to her... Whatever his motives are, they are bad. She sounds impatient, needy and demanding, wanting to eat a human, and Amane is there like rubbing her shoulders about it, IDK, this is really weird. I do not think this is quite the same as wanting to eat food, I think it is perhaps more comparable to a supernatural, magnetic pull, the way a vampire craves human blood for example. (At least, that's more likely to be depicted as an affinity beyond liking, sushi, yk?)

How to say... Amane feels like he is 'in charge' of Nene, guiding her, mentoring her, and kind of predatory about it... He is a more powerful, long-lived entity, and has more experience than she does with things. I feel as though he regards her as something he will eventually conquer — it's not about 'if' she'll have him, just When. He's also just a nasty guy so I do think he is very keyed into her physical status, awaiting her heat, intending to to intercept her once it commences. Certainly, Amane isn't going to let anyone else make a move... A guy with a plan.

Right before Nene would take time off, I think Amane would kind of catch wind of something, just ah, attuned to a shift in scent. (He smells her frequently, rudely.) This is like ✔Amane will remember that. Bookmarks you in my mind. Once informed she will not be working for a while it's like naruhodo... Now a smarter girlie would perhaps leave the premises, to not be accessible by This Guy Specifically, but alas. I don't think it occurs to her... So I think it's really easy for Amane to swoop in. Whether he directly knocks on her door, or stakes out her room until she leaves it, follows her on her way to the mess hall or the baths... Anything like that. (Though amusingly enough, if he was at her door, I feel like Nene would hide under a cabinet all wide-eyed. N-no, not him... *licks lips nervously*) Once she actually comes into contact with him, it's a quick descent — not able to meaningfully resist... You know, suddenly that smooth, low purr of a voice is hypnotic, the invasive touches on her shoulder prickle heat. Mrrarhhh...

Now what I like about ♀️cats is their fussiness, how they're attitude gets like... [yowls] [running up against, tail pushed to the side invitingly] [but like HISSES... SLAPS!!] As needy as Nene is, I think she will not like being messed with too long, like don't play with my hair and make eyes at me, this is serious-!! She'll be like ONEGAI!! I'm... CAN'T TAKE IT!! Cries!! Baps your face. Which only fuels Amane's condescension, now it's like oooh she's got it bad, poor thing clicks tongue... You really need my help... Well, OK, even when you act like that, I can be nice to you. ❤ He would just enjoy feeling so in control, here to alleviate a girl, shh shhh... You can rely on me. ❤ I'll treat you reeeeal nice...❤❤

For first times I like to think about human forms, almost for the most finesse, Amane fingering her a lil, penetrating, messing with loosening her yukata and undoing her hair, all these things he's wanted to do but hasn't been able to. Show, me your boobs, thanks... Rarar. But I think there's a basic satisfaction in feral sex that they'd both enjoy, alternating between sex, grooming, rolling around, flirting. Hissing, slap slap slap, purr purr...

I also like thinking about interactions between feral and human form, but that would take more trust in their dynamic. I think Nene has a little bit of dignity, if Amane holds her as a kittycat she like is difficult about it lol, I can imagine like. Letting you touch her pussy like that, is kinda, off-limits, but when accessed it's quite blissful... Able to lounge in lap, get massaged across her body, smackled a bit on her sides. Naturally they'd tend to be inclined to have sex in short bursts, taking breaks between, which I think they'd enjoy, but I also think there'd be a point of wanting to push past the simple biological imperative. I kind of think of Amane as a fetishistic weirdo, too used to his human and into human behaviors... Doesn't want to only mess with Nene when she is heat, it'd actually be sad to him, if she always needed like, a biological trigger. Can be FUN, enjoy interfacing with it, but definitely intends to go beyond that, as they get closer. As a result I think Nene will be really taken on a ride, it'd feel like marathon sex with this creep. The event horizon is Tsukasa gets involved and that's... going to be weird, what with the prey-drive firing of. ? Food ? Sex ? At once ? ?? ? How strange... (All subconscious though, I think Nene would be kept in the dark for a while. And she is like not so, smart, in this world, I thinks.)

👾| Okay so, first of all- i feel like if something got taken away from his lab and room, he would know. theres nothing you can’t take from this dude without him going "At-at-at, you put that BACK-!”

👾| Yeah, he would sense if something went missing in his lab.

👾| So, once he'd start noticing that somehow, someway or someone, has been messing with his tech or tools, he would well- immediately become suspicious. So, he decides that he has two options to find out what’s going on. First option, Interrogate Leo, second one- look through the cameras of his lab to see who’s been taking his stuff.

👾|..he chooses the second option (somehow)

👾| Yeah so, he checks the cameras, yada yada, looks closely, yeah yeah, stares at the screen that is now shows a small figure climbing onto his desk, before trying to drag his screwdriver, perfectly normal.

👾| ..WAIT. wait wait wait, hold on.. he double checks, triple- LIES, he quadruple checks the camera footage. He can see every equation in his head, trying to figure out what that thing is, why is it so small, how’d it get in the lair? And why is it doing the sin of messing around with his equipment?

👾| although he is rather intrigued and has many Inquiries, he is most likely not pleased with the information he is given. So he eventually comes to the conclusion that he has to both confront and learn more stuff about that little thief.

THE ENCOUNTER

👾| So, from first sight, i believe that donatello would mistake the tiny/borrower for a bug, which would most likely cause him to freak out.

👾| In fact, if he didn’t know that there were in the lair, he would freak out even more- and for a couple of moments, sorry, minutes, his brain would lag, which is something that happens every blue moon /j

👾| But no, he learned about their existence beforehand and will learn more things about them- he has questions and they must be answered!! You heard about his ‘speech mode’ right? Now prepare for the 'question mode’! a mode where the 'off button’ is you giving him answers to inquiries that he has!! (no, you cannot run away from this mode)

👾| Unlike my Raphael headcanon, the tiny/borrower would have to worry about getting picked up without being asked first, because i feel like Donatello would use one of the mechanical 'spider arms’ in his battle shell to either keep them in place or grab them in case they try to leave. He refuses to pick them up with his hand, they've been living in the damp walls of the lair. And the lair is located in the sewer. Imagine how dirty and filthy it would be in there.

👾 | He’d also pull them up to his eye level for a little examination of them- so the tiny/borrower would be met with the soft-shell’s face, which would have a mixture of annoyance and what they assume is interest painted over it.

👾 | He would start asking them stuff about how they managed to get down here, what are they, who are they, what is their purpose in the lair, did they saw him work and if so, did they like his work? “Return my equipment you little-”, all that while not letting them leave. It's some sort of an interrogation type of thing.

👾| As/if the tiny/borrower answers his questions and give him the information he requires from them, for a moment they will/would see stars in his eyes (that can be both a good and a bad sign)

👾| Another little headcanon that I have, is that until he’d finds out their actual name, he’d refer to them with nick-names instead, such as 'Little Guy’ or 'You little fiend'.

A day late, but I just had to do something for Mukai. She deserves nice things. I’m blending anime and manga canons because I’ve never read the manga, but there was something from the manga I just had to fix.

It takes you ten years to find it. Ten years of tracking it down, ten years of studying in dendrology classes where you’re the youngest in the classroom and digging through government-confiscated Claw files you weren’t supposed to have access to, ten years of searching to feel the first stirrings of something you thought you’d lost forever. Your beloved dolls.

But they were never just that.

They were your playmates, your protectors—you used to think some nights that you could have beaten the Claw president, escaped without a scar if they’d been with you then—your friends. Torn apart and then their forest burned away because you weren’t good enough. And you weren’t that, good enough. You were eleven.

You know that was terrible now, that your dolls weren’t a special gift for being powerful, that you shouldn’t have had a scar down your face because an adult thought he needed to test your power. But they called you strong then—the Claw president telling you why he ‘spared’ you with blood running down your face, Tsuchiya trying to calm you when you cried—and you wanted it to be true.

You weren’t strong or weak, you were a child who made friends where she had none. And he burned every chance to see those friends again for the crime of losing to the most powerful esper in the world, for Tsuchiya taking you back home to your father and out of Claw’s grasp.

You thought sometimes in the next ten years, even though the president got arrested, that he razed the whole forest for safety. Because if you got your hands on him, you’d be as dangerous as your younger self imagined. You thought that at twelve and fifteen and eighteen and once three weeks ago. It’s not true of course, you could have an island’s worth of humming maples at your command right now and you’d never be that strong an esper, but it was funny when nothing else was. Thinking of the look of horror on his face as you told the life whispering in that wood who killed the rest of them and had them charge.

Had sheer numbers—an army!—hold him down while you cut a line down his face and then walked away.

Reality isn’t that. It’s cross-checking dried leaf samples and hiking through other forgotten woods, learning not to cry at the half-whispers that aren’t your old dolls, getting trips out of the country for the promise of strange forests…and it’s assuring your father it wasn’t his fault for giving you a doll as a present when you were four, telling Tsuchiya over and over again that you’re alright.

And you are. You are now and you will be because the search, the dead ends, the little bits of heartbreak before you found a living clipping, they were worth it.

You’re standing at the edges of a flattened but greening field where a rare tree used to grow and you have a planter in your hands, several more behind you. The plants inside are small and fragile, young but alive. They hum like you haven’t heard in a decade and you cry, just a little, at the sound. You promise the one in your hands that it’s alright.

They aren’t dolls and you wouldn’t make them into ones. They aren’t a weapon—neither are you—but you promise them you’ll keep it safe. They protected you once and now you’ll do the same.
