LoZ: TotK - Gerudo Language 2 - Diacritic & Diagraphic Characters
Gerudo Language Series: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, & Part 6.
Ya'll, I may well have lost my absolute mind.
I have spent more time than is probably necessary creating a Gerudo numerical system & even a system of diacritics.
Send help.
Anyone who studies languages & their corresponding lexicons, can ya'll tell me if there's any merit to this stuff I made or if I'm just crazy & obsessed?
Also, for "ā," "é," & "ī," I'm thinking that the 2 different characters are differentiated by what's considered formal/proper & what's informal/casual. Perhaps the ones that are based on the original character, but upside down are considered formal, but the ones that are right-side up are informal? Because the informal ones are usually done that way due to muscle memory; the hand reacting the way that it would when writing the original character before the writer realizes it & then tacking on the accent so that the intention of the character is clear.
I've also created some digraphic characters.
Thanks.
I've actually made a font using all this, so if ya'll want it, just say so.

Binary calculators are tools that perform binary arithmetic | Check how it performs
Binary numbers: how they work
An inside binary number consists of eight bits, referred to as a byte, and its decimal value is determined by the position of every digit in the binary schema. This is the primary language of computing systems. The position of each bit determines the decimal value of the binary number. The position of each digit can be used to convert a binary number into a decimal number by understanding the bits. The number of places in decimal numbers is multiplied by ten as we go from left to right. Binary numbers, on the other hand, multiply every other place by two. The examples presented below illustrate this concept.
What is the process for creating a binary calculator?
A binary number can be arithmetically transformed using a Allcalculator.net'sBinary Calculator. As a result of arithmetic operations, Binary Calculator has a buffer limit of 8 bits. If the result exceeds 8 bits, the extraneous bits are truncated. The arithmetic operation is performed using JavaScript functions. The Calculate button is bound with the JavaScript function to calculate. The Calculate button triggers the calculate function and parses the HTML within the 'output' division. After splitting the string, we obtain the first and second numbers, which are then converted into integers by parseInt.
Why does the binary number system work the way it does?
It is a system of numbers with only two values, one and zero. All computer technologies currently available are based on the binary number system. It has just two digits: one and zero. In computer systems, Binary performs data processing tasks and other similar tasks. As a result, Binary is the framework on which computer systems depend to process data and parse values and figures.
The All calculator.net's Binary Calculator by SEOMagnifier is a numerical system, just like the decimal system. The Binary Calculator also allows you to perform basic arithmetic operations on binary numbers. Using this intuitive user interface, you can perform all basic mathematical operations on Binary Values.
In binary operations, what is the identity element?
A neutral element or identity element is an element of a set that is not affected by a binary operation when combined with an element of that set. As with this concept, we use it to describe algebraic structures such as groups and rings, in which the magnitude of a number exceeds the bit field size's range. Overflow occurs when the magnitude of the number exceeds the bit field size's range. There may be a possibility of overflowing with the sum of two identically-signed numbers if those numbers' bit fields are larger than those two numbers' bit fields.

AT LONG LAST: the interview translations from the Baten Kaitos artbook are finally finished with conversations with composer Motoi Sakuraba and the Japanese voice cast. (If you haven't checked it out previously, this document also contains translations of interviews with illustrator Nakaba Higurashi, scriptwriter Masato Kato, and the producers & directors.)
For many, the interview with Sakuraba will be the highlight, but I personally found most memorable this spoilery bit below the cut from Kalas's Japanese voice actor Kousuke Toriumi, which explains precisely why he was chosen for the role:
In the middle of the story, there's a scene where you betray your comrades; your performance there must have been difficult, wasn't it?
Toriumi: I didn't think it was particularly tough! I actually ended up enjoying that scene itself, and when I read it, I thought, "oh, wow, I betrayed them!! Yahoo!"
Congratulations, you absolute, perfectly-cast dick.

My mother taught me how to read Roman numerals when I was about 6 years old.
And now I use it to see what year the 19th century books my late father collected were published in so we can tell if they're first editions

I LOVE YOU NEW AU!!!!🫶🫶🫶🫶
Since Leo is over 90% Krang now is he controlled (or possessed) in some shape or form, by Prime? Or is he just feral? Or a combination of still being aware of his actions but he just doesn’t care? And Are primes “feelings” for Leo stronger or have branched out in different ways?
YYYEAAAH THANK YOUUUUU
and, no. prime doesn't exist in the Weary and Wild au. they're only for the Prime Leo au and nothing else (except for the no way home au by @shadowoffandoms go check it out it's great). so no extra trauma for Four
but, to answer the personality question: Four starts out feral. he's absolutely unhinged when he first gets out of the prison dimension. and while Big Mama is opportunistic, she's also smart, and knows that she has to..."domesticate" him before she can let him loose in her battle nexus
after he's calmed down, Four is more...tamed. he's still wild and still very dangerous, but he mostly watered down. he follows Big Mama's orders dutifully and without question. and when she's not there, he follows One's

People like to make fun of YA worldbuilding tropes that sort teenagers into arbitrary categories based on arbitrary characteristics that nonetheless have a huge impact on the teenager's future.
This is not unrealistic however, because the german education system sorts 4th graders based on their "academic merit" as determinded by one of their elementary school teachers into one of three (sometimes four) further type of schools, which has a drastic impact on the likelihood of you even getting the qualification to attend university.
Yes, your entire academic career path is dependent on whether your elementary school teacher likes you or not. Don't worry, some states think that's bullshit too and instead make fourth graders sit entrance exams for the education level of their (parents') choice. (Although the teachers still get a say). That's why sometimes have news articles about the burn out rates of elementary schoolchildren in Bavaria.
But don't worry! Politicians love to complain about... to many people in recent years receiving the qualification to attend university...
